(Not a shill, just a person who really likes to make turkey chili.)
You also may want to try an elimination diet like Whole 30 to see what triggers the bowel moments/ gas. I have fructose malabsorption and I have to be really careful with fruits that what most people consider "healthy" because it triggers painful diarrhea and gas. (Smoothies are a nightmare for me.) But I can eat foods that balance the fructose with glucose no problem.

Weird! What active ingredients were in your drops? Mine were Simethicone 20mg.
They solved all my little dude's discomfort problems. We only had diaper rash difficulties when he was teething-- and a bit of bag balm cleared it up.
