Like some of the other guys suggested, Suitsupply is the way to go. Being that you're in Portland, so there's a location in Seattle, so going in person is going to be the absolute best option, make a day trip out of it and bring a (well-dressed?) friend to get an outside opinion. I'd even suggest calling in ahead of time and explaining the situation and they'll probably make accommodations if they know you're coming in specifically to get a suit from them. A single-breasted solid navy or grey is going to be your best choice. These are classic suit colors that are simple, versatile and as long as you make sure they're well-tailored, (which SS will do for you in-house) you'll look great almost anywhere. I would personally suggest a mid-grey Napoli, which is their most popular cut, but they may have other suggestions for you dependent on your skin tone, body shape etc. Stay away from patterns or other colors for this suit, a charcoal pinstripe or double-breasted windowpane suit is your 4th or 5th suit, not your first.
First off, don't do loafers or deck shoes or sneakers, it'll throw off the whole deal. The shoe color will depend on the suit color somewhat, but a classic wingtip or captoe (thanks /u/shakerattleandrollin) like the Strand is a good versatile choice. You can sometimes pick them up on clearance on AE's site or use Shoebank, which is AE's factory seconds site, to find them at a substantial discount. You may also want to check out Meermin Mallorca's offerings as well. They're less expensive than full price AE's and are shipped from Spain, but they get good reviews. In regards to color, like I said, it depends on the suit, but a black or dark brown shoe will go with most colors, oxblood is also an option that goes with basically everything. You can use a chart like this to get an idea. As you can see, the walnut wouldn't really work with a darker suit, but you can make your own call on that.
This has to do with your shoes more than anything. Get a full-grain leather belt that matches your shoes and has a regular clasp buckle. Don't get bonded leather or anything besides full-grain. Most shoe retailers offer belts, so that'll be your best bet, this may also be something you can probably pick up from SS.
Charles Tyrwhitt has excellent prices on dress shirts. A standard white, twill or poplin non-iron extra-slim fit (nevermind the name, this is a standard slim fit, the classic and slim fits are more like the portly and classic fits elsewhere) is going to go with pretty much anything and would be good to have anyways. They run sales pretty regularly (they actually have a across the board sale going on right now if you use that link). They run pretty true to size, so if you have a dress shirt that fits well already (long enough in the sleeves and not too much fabric around the waist/trunk), you can use this to dial in the sizes on CT. Get this first so you can wear it when you get your suit so they can get the sleeve lengths right on the jacket.
You can pick up a silk tie from a multitude of places, I like Bows N Ties, but there's many other options as well, SS will have some in store too. A nice contrasting color to your suit will be the best choice, but nothing too shiny. A solid color will be best, but a classic stripe or other pattern works as well. I'd suggest staying away from oddball textures or patterns, like floral or knit ties as they'll be less versatile. 100% silk is the way to go.
A nice minimal dress watch and a pair of sunglasses, Wayfarers or Clubmasters will complete the look. If you opt for a french cuff shirt from CT, get a pair of simple cufflinks as well. Get a pair or two of dark dress socks as well, these can come from almost anywhere, err on the side of natural fibers (wool, cotton) for best results.
Overall, as I'm sure you've read, fit is king. Everything needs to fit right, first and foremost. A well-coordinated outfit that fits horribly will still look bad and accidental. A mismatched outfit that fits like a glove will still look better. The jacket, pants and shirt are all important. Even with a classic standard navy or grey SB suit with a white shirt and a dark tie, if it fits well, will look better than anyone else's ill-fitting department store OTR suit and it'll last you through almost any scenario. Weddings, interviews, night out, professional meetings, etc.
Good luck!

How to (actually) be anonymous online
Section 1: Prerequisites — Hardware
Computer
To use the Internet you will obviously need a computer. You may use your existing one (provided you install the recommended software below), but its a much better idea to get a dedicated machine that you would be using for all your alter-ego activities. If you don’t care about performance, a cheap $300 netbook may do just fine, however if you plan to be using it a lot, it’s recommended you get something with at least 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD and a decent CPU (Modern Core i3 or better). Make sure you pay cash for the machine.
Phone
Many online services require phone verification in order to get an account, while others may require it for 2 factor authentication, which is always a good idea. While there are many websites that allow you to receive SMS, they are typically used by thousands of people and you will have a hard time finding one that will work with popular services, so it’s best to get your own. You can get a cheap pre-paid phone, put $100 on it, which should last you almost a year. You will buy it with cash. Many providers will allow you to pick a number and area code, so be sure to pick one that’s different from the state/province that you are in.
Section 2: Prerequisites — Software
Veracrypt is a full disk encryption software which is the de facto successor to TrueCrypt (which ceased development in 2014 under very suspicious circumstances). Like TrueCrypt, Veracrypt is open source, and has been recently audited so it’s your best bet.
VirtualBox allows you to run a different operating system inside a virtual machine.
TOR/VPN
You will need a way to hide your ISP assigned IP address. The free option, TOR, is open source and is actively maintained by hundreds of developers world wide. However, TOR usage is easily detected so you may have a hard time accessing some services and the speeds are going to be less than stellar.
Alternatively, you can invest a few dollars per month into a privacy conscious VPN provider. TorrentFreak keeps an excellent list of these providers, which is updated every year. Things to look out for include lack of logs, built in firewall, acceptance of Bitcoin and a proven history of not turning over subscriber data when asked for it. HideMyAss for example is a popular provider, however you may want to stay away from it, even if you don’t plan on having your data being subpoenaed by the FBI.
Section 2: Setup
Step 1 — Setup your computer
OS Encryption
This is the first step is also your last line of defense in a worst case scenario. Use VeraCrypt to encrypt your OS. For the extra paranoid, you can also setup a hidden operating system where you essentially have 2 completely separate operating systems, depending on which password you enter during the decryption process, and its nearly impossible to prove the existence of the other.
Virtual Machine
Whether you’re using your existing computer, or a dedicated device, I strongly recommend running a VM (virtual machine) on it, and restricting your alter-ego activities to it. This has the extra benefit of containing most malware inside the VM itself, which could also deanonymize you if you’re sharing the same OS for your regular and alter-ego activities. Think of it as a quarantine zone, and everything inside has space AIDs. You don’t want anything going in it (personal information), and more importantly out of it.
Never use this VM to access any of your existing accounts including but not limited to your bank, Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, Instagram, Pornhub, your local church’s message board, etc.
Don’t open the browser inside the VM until you get a VPN, as you run the risk of getting fingerprinted and tracked while on your ISP IP address.
Step 2 — Get some Bitcoin
Contrary to popular belief, Bitcoin is not anonymous. All transactions and wallet (account) balances are public information. Bitcoin does hide the identity of the wallet holder. Unfortunately, simply spending the Bitcoins on products/services in your name nullifies this. You can watch a video on this subject here.
There are many exchanges online where you can buy Bitcoin, all of which will require personal identification, which sometimes goes above and beyond what you need to provide to trade on the stock market. You have plenty of opportunity to expose yourself as you use Bitcoin, so at the very least try not to do that at the very beginning.
The best thing to do is buy Bitcoin with cash. You can use LocalBitcoins for this purpose. Alternatively you could use a Bitcoin ATM if one is available in your city. Keep in mind some of them require extreme measures like providing your ID, palm scanning, DNA samples and first born child sacrifice in order to use them. Only use the ones that don’t require any of these things, unless you hate your kids.
You will also need a wallet. I’m not talking about getting another highly fashionable Bacon Wallet you may be carrying around already, but a Bitcoin wallet, which is unfortunately not bacon flavored.
When it comes to storing your Bitcoins you have 3 options: online wallet, computer wallet and cold storage. We’ll ignore cold storage for the purposes of this article.
There are many online wallets being provided by various companies, but they suffer from the same issues mentioned above (need to provide private information). I personally like having the wallet on my computer since I’m the only one truly in possession of my Bitcoins, and I don’t have to rely on any 3rd party which has my private information or is constantly at a risk of getting robbed. Here is a good list of wallets you could use. Make sure you’re looking at the “Desktop” category. The downside to using these is that if your hard-drive crashes, and you made no backups, all your money is gone.
Step 3 — Get a VPN
Now that you got your computing environment setup, and acquired Bitcoins, it’s time to get a good VPN for situations where TOR is blocked, or you must change your IP to a specific country in order to access a service.
Fire up your TOR Browser, and head over to your favorite VPN provider’s website. Most will ask you for an email, you can use a disposable email provider for this purpose. Some providers don’t even ask you for an email, which is a good sign of their commitment to privacy.
Firewall
Make sure the provider you choose has a proper firewall built into the client, not just a “kill switch”, which is basically snake oil, since it’s a reactive measure that simply shuts off the processes of your choice if the VPN connection drops. Between the connection dropping, and your browser being forcibly closed by the app, there is no guarantee that packets will not leak, not to mention all the other applications running on your computer, including the OS itself, which make random requests to random servers at random times. With a kill switch you won’t be able to protect yourself from leaks.
A firewall on the other hand is a proactive measure, which if properly implemented, fails closed, meaning all activity outside of the tunnel is firewalled at all times, by default, so if your connection drops, there is nothing for the application to do, and you can guarantee that not a single packet will leak revealing your ISP assigned IP address to the outside world. Windscribe, IVPN and AirVPN all have excellent firewalls which use Windows Filtering Platform and pf to block all activity outside of the tunnel.
Those who don’t trust the application level firewall, can setup Whonix, which uses a separate VM which functions as a router for the VM where your activity takes place. If connectivity drops for any reason, packets cannot go out to the Internet.
Protocols
Of the 3 commonly used protocols, I strongly encourage using the open source OpenVPN protocol. PPTP is entirely broken and unsafe to use, and IPSec/L2TP is easily detected and arguably already exploited by the NSA.
Now that you chose your VPN provider, pay for the account with Bitcoin and connect to a server of your choosing.
Step 4 — Setup your browser
Unless you plan to use TOR exclusively, you will need another browser that you will use in conjunction with the VPN you just got.
I don’t recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox, as they have tracking built in. I recommend getting the latest stable version of Chromium (what Chrome is based on), with no Sync or WebRTC support. Alternatively you can use Palemoon, but the extension support is very limited.
Then install the following browser extensions:
Step 5 — Get a password manager
Weak and reused passwords are usually the number one cause of accounts getting hijacked, and a compromised account on any 3rd party service may assist an adversary in deanonymizing you. You can’t prevent or foresee security issues which may exist in the service itself, but at least you can do your part by generating strong and unique passwords for all the services you use. There are many password managers out there, LastPass, KeePass and Dashlane are just some of them.
I personally have tried 3 different sets of Key/Carry solutions. So I will tell you my impressions and let you make your decisions for yourself
I started looking a few weeks ago link here and tried the two I asked. I have a few $ to burn and figured I could give one away if I didn't like it.
KEYBINER
Keybiner is my EDC now for everything except for when I ride. I got the Titanium one. This thing is tough and it does not scratch easily. A little on the heavy side but I do like it and end up clipping it out of the way of my way for most of the time I have it on me. Implementation is easy and when they made a mistake (missing a screw) the guys over at Fortiusarms immediately sent me a new set of screws free and followed up with me. To me this is AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and I plan on ordering my best friend one for his welcome home gift after he gets back from his tour.
Now this product isn't without its drawbacks. If you tighten the screws too tight they are hard to move; too little and they flop about. Also the "estimate amount of keys" is slightly off or my house keys are much larger than normal.
KeyPort
This is a pretty nifty idea and works well for my motorcycle when I carry. The reason this isn't my primary EDC is because of the bulk. I mean this thing is kind of thick in my pockets. I don't mind that most of the time but if you just throw on a couple of shorts and wanted to take the dog for a run this bangs around in your pocket a bunch (at least for me). Thier customers support is pretty good and I did not have a problem getting my keys done through them.
What I think you might be looking for though is this
KEYSMART
I also own this. It is a nice bar size and is pretty good overall. Same torque lock in method as the Keybiner, but no hook to hook on. It is a mixture between the KeyPort and the KeyBiner. I ordered the (2-10) key version and liked it at first, but it didn't suit my needs at all. I could not fit more than 4 keys in it, and if I didn't shave some of my keys down it would stick out and not close correctly. House keys and lock keys work fine, but motorcycle and anything with a rubber head protector tended to be too bulky. The vibrations also would loosen the tightness of the lock so when I ride the device would fold in on itself or hit my cluster.
This does work well though if you don't mind tossing your keys into a bag or want to keep it slim and thin.
Hope this helped.
East Coast Mid Atlantic region perspective
The first thing that comes to mind is flip flops. You could probably also find a slide sandal that's quite casual. Gladiators, leatherish, and most statement shoes wouldn't fit in as well where I'm from. It's not my thing, but sockless vans, keds, converse, etc are also fair game. Sanuks, Rainbows, Reefs, etc. have had their peaks and valleys for trendiness, but remain popular across age groups.
IME in a beach town, a lot of the look comes not from buying beach clothes, but from re-purposing clothing for the beach lifestyle. Old sweat pants and jeans become cut-offs. Brothers' outgrown sweatshirts get the necks cut off and a button down with a stain that won't come out is now a cover up. Of course, there are resort and surf brands that also contribute to the dominant fashions where I'm from. And non beach-influenced fashion lines that are popular tend to be more casual or familiar.
Locals wear a lot of tunics and dresses that can be worn at a casual bar/restaurant and the beach alike. But that's really closely tied to my particular beach culture, where you head off on your bike in the morning and you end up going from house to house and you never know if you'll be taking a real shower or where the day will bring you.
Visors are more popular than most would imagine, especially baseball cap styles and straw styles, but not the plastic-y kind. Sun hats borrow a good deal of inspiration from lifeguards, boaters, and fishers, and general beach goers, but I can't remember the last time I've seen an actual large floppy hat. [This] (https://www.amazon.com/Lanzom-Womens-Bowknot-Straw-Foldable/dp/B06XXXQXLN/ref=sr_1_14?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1523827177&sr=1-14&nodeID=7141123011&psd=1&keywords=floppy+hat) would be a bit much where I'm from.
Swimwear is typically more surf-shop and less pool-side looking. In the 25+ crowd I see more classic one pieces and fewer monokinis. Two pieces tend to range from revealing to more full coverage, but included a lot of surf and floral prints, solid colors, classic patterns (dots and stripes). It's pretty common to have mismatched yet coordinated tops and bottoms. Bottoms are more likely to be solid than tops, since they may have to match both the top of the suit and a rash guard.
A good pair of white jeans or other simple, opaque, white pants screams beachy to me. And fits in with a Miami or New England look depended on how you dress it up or down.
And the most important feature of the beachwear I'm most familiar with is that you keep it for years. Sometimes decades. Not the most fashion forward, but it's also the norm. I think there is something about living in an area where the population and lifestyles fluctuate so much on the off and on seasons that it effects the way you experience seasons and the passing of time. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it has something to do with how off-trend we can seem from the outside.
I was a big fan of Hawaiian print short sleeve button downs when I was a kid and they had a resurgence, and there are one or two I still wear, but I think Hawaiian print had more staying power on a bathing suit or dress. The drawback there is that dresses and bathing suits may be more expensive, and if you DO change your mind about them, you may not get as many wears out of them. Hibiscus prints are a little more common and less trendy, perhaps because they actually grow up and down the east coast.
Yaaaay!! Round 2 here we go!!! Haha thanks for the gauntlet love <3

Hats are the best! I'm a hat queen though, because I've had several melanomas. Wallaroo makes some of my favorite "cute" hats - search for them on other websites too for the best price, as some are a little spendy. If you don't want to spend that much, you can usually find older or discontinued styles for much less on Amazon or Sierra Trading Post (which has amazing deals if you find a good coupon) by searching for "upf hat." Outdoor Research makes some great, lightweight and crushable hats that are priced really well on STP in particular. Oh, and I just got this hat and while it totally makes you look like a farmer, it is reasonably cute and the price is right. Feel free to ask me more questions - I think I'm at about 25 different sun hats at this point.
ETA: And if a hat fits properly, it shouldn't interfere with your glasses. I wear contacts most of the time with HUGE vintage sunglasses from the 70s (they're cool, I swear) and have never had a problem wearing those or my regular glasses with a hat.
i have an intro that i think is okay!
these ray-bans are pretty rad IMO. you can't go wrong with the classic black/crystal green.
those knock knock day of the week file folders look pretty fun.
this is me tryna look happy. i like my hair right now. i cut it myself a while ago, and it turned out okay! i think i'm a pretty caring person. i like that i'm tall. i think being tall is fun.

i think the prize breakdown should be around 60% for first place, 40% for second.
i've found that a good way to deal with stress is self-reflection and some basic meditation. people are always so busy, they never take the time to sit down for a second, clear their mind, and let the stress escape them. as a person with some pretty intense anxiety, meditating has helped me a lot with stressful situations.
anyway, good luck at the festival~
I love makeup, books, scarves, jewelry, perfume, shoes, clothes....girly girl here.
I love this scarf
I'd like to win because your gift boxes look AMAZING!!!

Ok. I'll bite. And I'm not going to add anything today - it's all stuff already on my wishlist

I love League of Legends!
You have a pet, right? And he's this cute little frog thing with giant eyes and a big happy mouth. He's hungry and you have some candy, but you accidentally slipped and fell and got it tangled around a bunch of ropes and obstacles. So you need to get the candy back to his mouth because if you don't, he'll make this face: :C and it's really sad. When you get close, he opens his mouth and goes "BLAH" in excited anticipation. When you finally get the candy into his mouth, he makes this face: C: and he loves you forever happily ever after the end.
Edit: Oh yeah wishlist stuff. This kitty hat is pretty cute. Or I have a wishlist for items under $5 if you wanna surprise me. Thanks for the contest!
Striping tape manis:
Here's one that I did which isn't too hard. I've also always wanted to try this one.
The house I lived in during most of university was a nice house but had an awful landlord. He wouldn't give us any notice that he was coming and randomly enter the house... once when I had just gotten out of the shower. Creepy and illegal.
Here is a picture of a European cuttlefish I took at the Toronto aquarium. I too love sea life. Here is one of four Carribean reef squid I saw while snorkeling in the Dominica.
Drink: Take a half a can of of frozen lemonade mix, half a can of frozen orange juice mix, a cup of sprite/7up or gingerale, and 1-2 cups of ice. Blend together. Delicious citrus slushee. Add optional rum.
I think these sunglasses are pretty adorable.

If you want to still keep your work keys on a separate ring from your house keys, you could try something like the Free Key System.
Otherwise, you could try something like the Keysmart, and put your 5 keys in that, and then just have that, the car key, and the fob on the ring.
I personally use the Keysmart, and it's been great so far. I've had mine for a few months already, and it's held up great. My best friend has had one for several years, and his is also in great condition.
I also recommend a suspension clip, I've been using this one by Keysmart recently, so I just drop my keys in my pocket but hook them on the top of my pocket. That makes it easier to pull the keys out of your pocket, and also keeps them dangling in your pocket as opposed to bunching up at the bottom.
Hope this helps!
I find a smartphone or wifi tablet is really useful while traveling. Information, contact, entertainment are all useful features of a device. I really like having ebooks. You don't really need a data plan, wifi is pretty widespread.
That said, I often bring a single paperback book too. You might not always want to pull out your device everywhere, you don't have to worry about water or dust or pickpockets with a paperback. (But your paperback can't send email or check news or weather or take photos.) Plus travelers often swap books. Lots of hostels and hotels and coffee shops have book swap shelves. So you can trade off your book for another when its done.
I also find a money belt like this very useful. I keep some emergency cash, a photocopy of my passport, credit card, and itinerary in it. You might also consider hidden passport pockets like these to sew into your pants.
My favorite holiday is July 4th and these glasses are just hilarious. The reason I like it so much is because I love parades, fireworks, and spending time with my family so it's the perfect holiday to me.
All I want for Christmas is gifts made with love :)
I've always wanted a personalized gift, you know?
Honestly, a nice warm hat would be lovely for this winter :D
YESSSSS HATS! Bring back hats! I love summer hats and winter hats. Fuck I love hats. They keep you so cool and protect you so much, and they’re cute as heck.
For summer, I wear a paper straw hat I got on Amazon with as adjustable chin strap. I wish more hats had these tbh, here in Chicago one strong breeze will blow your hat right off. I also have a collection of varying summery floppy hats from TJMaxx.

coverage is honestly the best thing you could do for your skin. this style suit with a wide brim hat are the best ways to protect yourself from sun damage.
fyi: i absolutely love the sun. i used to sit out at the beach all day with only coconut oil for spf and would never burn. since incorporating actives and heavy-hitting sun protection, i’ve noticed a transformation in my skin. no new freckles, lines or sun spots. dewey complexion. while i occasionally miss my formerly bronzed skin, i do not miss the rough texture, wrinkles, or itchy-tight feeling i used to get after baking.
In Indiana. On the colder days wore a cheap fingerless thinsulate mitten (the mitten and the thumb can be folded back if needed...rarely needed) on my left hand. On my right hand I'd wear a variety of gloves. My favorite was a neoprene like ski glove with tacky finger pads and palm. I like a fairly tight flexible glove on my hand.
Remember to go a little lighter with the flats on your arm and dps in your hand on the sub-zero days. Restricting the blood flow too much can make your fingers go numb quick.

How about some adorable Hello Kitty Sunglasses?!
As for a terrible apt story, I remember the first apt we lived in when we moved to Seattle as a kid was a one bedroom on the top floor right on the on-ramp headed down town. My sister and I shared a pull out bed while my mother slept on the cushions on the floor. We had one small black and white tv and a chair to sit and watch it from, and the only light the apt had was either the bathroom or small kitchen overhead light. At night I would fall asleep to the feeling of the building shaking from the mac trucks driving past either on the ramp or already on the high way. Really the only good thing about that place was the amazing view of the city at night.
As for my list, the only ones I REALLY want are pound cake, capri, vanity fairest, who's she red, pop art pink, raspberry, watermelon, and charmeuse. I know that's not 12, but those the ones that struck me as the coolest...really I would take any of the red/orange cremes :)
HI!!!! HOW ARE YOU??? I LOVE WORKING! My favorite thing was actually applying and getting a job... well, getting three offers and then picking one... and I don't regret the one I picked :)

and one of my personal favorites, the bacon wallet!
This hat keeps my ears so warm! I've been wearing it almost every day for the past week (I did wash it). It's super cute, plus I don't have to do as much to my hair.
I haven't gotten them yet, but a friend got these tights and says they're fantastic!
I'd say go with the cheap ones. In some things, such as shoes, spending more money can get you a pretty big quality increase. It's true that nice sunglasses are higher quality than cheap ones, but the increase in price doesn't reflect the increase in quality in my experience.
I've had this pair for over half a year now, and besides a lens popping out once (which I was able to snap back in), I haven't had any problems.
And the best thing about cheap sunglasses? You don't have to worry about losing them, dropping them isn't a problem, and you can have multiple different pairs such as in this situation. Just my 2 cents!
Hey everyone! I've got two main questionsthat have been bugging me today, so here goes:
Hello there! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty boring as normal. I cleaned, exciting huh?
Your favorite animal? Panda Bears!!!
Your link So pretty!

listen, if he really really feels like he must have a fair amount of cash on him to do his business properly, then encourage him to get a money belt.
It's discrete and is not easily lost.
So if he finds a deal on the phone, and he knows he's going to meet a client, he can go in the bathroom transfer some of the cash From the money belt to his wallet, and then go make the deal. You could even do it in the car.
It's just an all-around easier, safer way to do things.
http://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Creek-Travel-Terrain-Money/dp/B0054IGU7U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1456937849&amp;sr=8-3&amp;keywords=hidden+travel+money+belt
Alternatively to a wallet, you could use a money clip and a credit card holder. They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and styles different from wallets, and range just as much in price. Some variants come built together too if you still want to carry all your stuff together, but it can be useful to have your cash separate from your cards sometimes. It's something to keep in mind. Some phone cases even double as card holders which is pretty nifty.
I recently got a cheap Clubmaster dupe on Amazon. I usually wear prescription sunglasses, but wanted a pair for those rare occasions I wear contacts. Overall, I really like them! I can't wear aviators without looking like a serial killer, but these help me achieve that cool, old-school look I want.
They smell REALLY strongly of plastic first of out the package, but it fades. They also stay up quite nicely despite me having a low nose bridge.
Edit: Pic of how they look on me if anyone is curious. Sorry for the weird angle/pout. It was a selfie I was sending to my SO.
This is the exact one I got. I only use it for 4-keys. It came with extensions, so i could probably fit another 2-keys tops. If you see my earlier post, you can note that to be affective, the supplied washers need to be on either side of each key. Well, they take up space and make it tight, but it works great. I can only comment on 6-keys worth. If you have more than that, I would continue researching.
FYI these sunglasses are also available on Amazon rebranded as "Merry's" sunglasses. About $3 bucks more, but you have the option to return for free if you dont like them + faster shipping. Great reviews on Amazon
I agree, instead buy from amazon but make sure that they are either sold by amazon itself or fulfilled by amazon. They will most likely be real and even if they are not amazon has great customer service and will definitely refund you.
Going to repost my comment from the last thread like this.
Just a heads up:
You can pick up many colors on Amazon for a list price of $83 and under, at which point you can apply the the 20% off coupon and get them for $65 and under.
Perks of ordering from Amazon include guaranteed authenticity and fulfillment, as well as hassle free returns (if orders are fulfilled by Amazon)
Brand/Model: American Optical Original Pilot
Price: 40-50
Build Quality: Very High. Superior to Ray Ban etc.
Effectiveness: I have a small face, so regular aviators don't work for me. These are small enough that they don't look ridiculous.
Other thoughts: These sunglasses stand out in a world dominated by Ray Bans. Even better, American Optical has a rich heritage; Original Pilots were the officially issued sunglasses for the Air Force, and astronauts wore them to the moon.

Have an 0hfucking amazing evening.
Depending on how frugal you want to be, I picked up these Merry's Sunglasses for about $12 on Amazon. Free no reason returns for prime members made it easy to buy a few pairs and send back the ones I didn't want. The ones linked were decent quality and fit nicely (I have a slightly larger head than average).
Hey, sup? How was your day? Mine was okay; I had play practice for my play tomorrow and I should realllyyyyy memorize my lines...
Platypus.
item for you (pretty!)
thingy for moi
Thanks for the contest!
That's where I get mine. zerouv is good but breaks quickly. I like Woody's or these Joopin's are my favorite so far. I've had them for half a year and they still haven't broken.
I got these on amazon and they're the best cheap sunglasses I've ever had. Comes with a good stiff case as well.
HA THIS IS A TRICK
4 PIG PENS MAKE A SQUARE NOT A CIRCLE
CHECKMATE
Babe, the sheep pig!
My only other guess is that you put 6 pigs in each pen, but since you're walking the pigs around in a circle it seems like there are more? UGH I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER AND I WILL BE CHECKING BACK FOR IT hehehehe <3 great contest! Thank you!
Going on holiday soon and need some non-Rx sunglasses. How do these Ray bans look?
I don't really know you about these but if it helps I have quite a narrow face which I think is oval in shape. Gonna be wearing with casual outfits like jeans/chino shorts + tee/OCBD
> big for my head, I think).
I felt the same way about aviators until I found the American Optical version of these. Like the Randolph, they don't have as much of a "teardrop" on the bottom which really helps them to not cover your whole face. Same basic design but almost $100 cheaper.
Also, these cool dudes wore them. :)
An Epic Meal Time bacon strips shirt!
And a wallet :D
Duct tape?
50 Shades of Bacon.
And wrap it all in some bacon gift wrap.
Bacon is Meat Candy! Surprise me :)
I have this one and LOVE it. I took out the string- you don’t need it for it to stay on your head. Seriously such a good value.
You can often find these locally for cheap. I find the thinsulate ones to be best, you can layer another pair of gloves inside and they work pretty well all winter.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018IN0GQ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZEdWDbQ2V6DTK
Amazon is your best bet. They are 90$ now...if you have prime shipping is free.
Thanks and i got a pretty sweet deal on them. It was about $85 on amazon
Thanks for the input! by glasses do you mean sunglasses? I will get some better pics. I know I need to update my wardrobe and I am currently working on getting in better shape. I just haven't decided whether or not to keep the beard but I appreciate the advice.
Going to take a small gamble here. These are a great deal but I'd honestly rather buy 10 pairs of these: http://www.amazon.com/Polarized-Classic-Wayfarer-Sunglasses-polarized/dp/B009CG871W/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1&amp;smid=AC81J8VH6FY97
When you go out a ton the most common thing to lose is your sunglasses. Could be at the beach, at a house party, in a friend's car, at a show, etc. After losing multiple pairs of $150+ sunglasses, I just don't feel that it's worth it anymore.
Additionally, I've seen these wayfarers go as cheap as $3 a pair. That would get you 18 pairs for the same price as the ray-bans. Sure they're not authentic but when was the last time someone came up to you and asked if your sunglasses were? This is frugal male fashion is it not? Get the same look at a fraction of the price.
Hope you feel better :)

0h Danielle! I remember you mentioning about focusing on grad school. What are you planning to study for your master?
Could dolphins be your favorite animal? That coral and white chevron scarf would totally works on you. For me, these bamboo utensils would be sweet!
Either this scarf or these earrings which are under $5 but the price keeps changing for some reason
You should read The Dispossessed by Ursula K LeGuinn (if you like sci fi or anything by Tom Robbins if you like regular type fiction! Christmas is for reading!
Money belt - doesn't have to look like a money belt.
Eagle Creek makes a pretty basic/boring one:
http://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Creek-Travel-Terrain-Money/dp/B0054IGU7U/
and Wilderness Tactical makes a more, well, tactical version:
http://www.thewilderness.com/tactical-belts/the-wilderness-money-belt/
or there's the old school dress belt kind:
http://www.amazon.com/Mens-Leather-Money-Belt-Size/dp/B007EHN9EG/
I have used the Eagle Creek ones for probably approaching 20 years now. They're OK, but the plastic in the buckles wears out after 1-2 years and they die. They used to come in many colors/patterns.
The Wilderness Tactical belts are basically indestructible. I'm pretty sure you could tow a car with one if you needed to.
I think clubmasters would look good. Maybe go to the store, try them on to see if they fit? And then buy them online for cheap. They're like $50 off on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C9ZOVX0#immersive-view_1506210392781
What do you think of these shades? What of the options there do you like the best?
Edit: actually look at these instead https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00877BGT2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1506210911&amp;sr=1-3&amp;refinements=p_4%3AZeroUV&amp;pi=SL140_SY180_CR0,0,140,180_QL70
A pair of cheap sunglasses!
This contest is beautiful. :)
I've got this one which is a knock off of the "BRYK" wallet (which so happens to be cheaper than the knock off right now) and I like it, though if you carry cash it is less than ideal, only can fit a couple bills in it before it doesn't close.
American Optical makes very high-quality glasses, and they're right in your price range. These and Randolph Engineering are some of the best sunglasses on the market, and AO's are way cheaper. If you search through the Amazon listings, you'll find different frame sizes, frame colors, and lens colors.
>I think 54-56mm would be best because I have a large head but I honestly have no clue
So go find out! Get a ruler, stand in front of a mirror, and see what your head measures from temple-to-temple.
Two ain't so bad
That was fun and hard!
this $5.99 + $3.60 shipping and
this $3.78 + free shipping = $13.37
I'm a fan of those big, floppy straw hats. Like this Wore one almost every day in my beach vacay to the DR. Also staying in the shade as much as you can & finding a cute cover up.
I'll go with 912. A little over 5 now, but I love these guys: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009CG871W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1&amp;smid=A14A72EV0GA5L5
*edit: over, not under.
Link, they aren't great but they're pretty cool
I am also obsessed with this kind of eyeglass style. Another model similar style is called Ray-ban "Club master". I actually just bought mine on amazon for 90$ and it is genuine. This model costs about 180$ from ray-ban website.
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&amp;field-keywords=ray-ban+clubmaster
http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-RB3016-Clubmaster-Sunglasses-Non-Polarized/dp/B001GNBJQY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1413274672&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=ray-ban+clubmaster
To make sure the glasses are genuine, contact the seller an ask if they are genuine and where they get their glasses from. Genuine Ray Ban merchandise come directly from LUXOTTICA USA. Amazon is a professional website to buy merchandise, and they will hold reliability if they tell you false information. Good luck on your eyeglass search.
You can also look into rayban's club master classic as well.
I wanted a hat for Festivus. It would be useful keeping my head warm when I go outside. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy
Another alternative are these $5 ones which have been mentioned here before. Unlike the ones the OP linked to, these don't put a list price of $39.99 to make it look like you're getting a great deal.
Edit: Never owned polarized glasses before so found this video on how to test if it's polarized: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59rfqDcRMgI
they aren't to bad other retailers can get them down to $50 amazon and opticsplanet for $50 a nice pair of american made sunglasses, people ask about mine and have never heard of the brand and are surprised how well priced they are
This cat ear hat is 4.43!
Thanks for the contest (:
In b4 knockaround premiums. I got these on amazon and they are ok.
Amazon has dozens of options that are polarized. Ray Bans can be had for $75 as well.
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st_price-asc-rank?keywords=polarized+wayfarers&amp;qid=1393708464&amp;rh=n%3A1036592%2Ck%3Apolarized+wayfarers&amp;sort=price-asc-rank
My favorite thing about Detroit is the North American International Auto Show. I'd love to travel up there to go to it one year. :D Montreal sucks. Wooooo Bruins!
Those are some nice looking aviators. But with my experience with Ray Bans, I could not be happier. I bought some New Wayfarers <a>http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-RB2132-Wayfarer-Sunglasses-G-15-XLT/dp/B001UQ71G4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1320119612&amp;sr=8-1&lt;/a&gt; Had them a few months. Could not be happier. Highly recommend them. But if they are not your style, Ray Ban also has some very good quality aviator style glasses. Hope I helped!
I always use two layers. One thin layer like these:
http://www.amazon.com/Metog-Winter-Outdoor-Sports-Fleece/dp/B015T4WMUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1453672958&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=gloves
Then another layer of thick gloves. This has served me well during skiing, camping in the snow, and cold South Dakota winters.
I've seen some use these:
http://www.amazon.com/Metog-Thinsulate-Thermal-Insulation-Mittens/dp/B018IN0GQ8/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1453672958&amp;sr=8-15&amp;keywords=gloves
Flip the mittens back when you need to sign, then flip them back on when you need to be warm.
That link just took me to a general search page that didn't allow shipping to Australia, here is the link to Clubmasters that ship via Amazon and not a third party seller. Also, Amazon only ships the 49mm version of this model, the 51mm pair ships from a third party seller and cannot be delivered to Australia.
Does anyone know if there is a way to disable third party items being displayed on amazon.com? I've never had much luck having items from these sellers delivered to Australia.
For those bigheads out there, 55mm Wayfarers are ~$81 on Amazon right now.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UQ71G4/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1
Same pair that was advertised here a few months back for ~$51.
edit:
Also, these amazing huge 60mm RB for ~$85
http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-Boyfriend-Sunglasses-Non-Polarized-Gradient/dp/B00372I9M4/ref=sr_1_1?s=apparel&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1370645133&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=RB4147
Not sure if they're MFA friendly but I rock them.
Have you tried clubmasters? I love mine - most of the reason I got them was because I wanted something other than ubiquitous wayfarers.
bacon wallet?
Bacon is meat candy.
All my items are in euros so with shipping included anything 4 euro or less should be about 10$ surprises are nice if its not too much trouble for you. ^ -^
Gloves work for me - same temps outside. I use these combo fingerless glove/mitten wool gloves. https://www.amazon.com/Metog-Thinsulate-Sentry-Mittens-gloves/dp/B018IN0GQ8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1542035657&sr=8-3&keywords=3m+mitten+glove

They work well for me and I can change the degree of warmth as my run continues! I think a lot of people use synthetic gloves and they just don't work well for me. Wool is the way to go, imo.
It's this hat from Amazon, and if the ears stood up a little more it would be perfect.

Amazon has them for around ~$70 if you're interested. Otherwise just wear what you like.

I can only slip a $20 or so in it cash-wise, but I rarely use cash so that's fine for me. It's so easy to find cards in and stays closed really well.

I own the Freekey system and dig it for not destroying my nails trying to get keys on them, but for organization needs, you may want to go with the other two.
I've been slowly upgrading and refining my EDC for the last few months with a focus on higher-quality materials. The only constant since my last post is that my Shures are still going strong.
Quick list, will add thoughts as they come to me:
I'm planning to upgrade my watch at some point, but for now I'm still fairly new to the world of watches so just dipping my toes in is enough.

Amazon has Ray-Ban New Wayfarers starting at $75 in the classic colors and Original Wayfarers starting at about $80. Depending on your face shape I'd go try them on first. I thought I wanted Originals but they were giant on my face. The New Wayfarer is perfect. I also got them in brown tortoise to rub it in on all the haters :p
Just go with the Wayfarer, cleaner aesthetic.
Sure the listing is here
And the seller is called Imixcity. The delivery estimate was 28th of Dec -9th of Jan but it arrived on the 19th of December (12 days after placing the order)

I have always wanted one of those KeySmart devices but I don't carry enough keys to justify it.
Looks like some of the clubmasters are sold by Amazon directly, if you're worried about fakes. These tortoiseshell ones (click the second color option), for example, say they're sold by Amazon, and they're going for $100.
Totally have those shades! They're dangerous to wear while driving, just saying. Stay safe, patriots.
Fuck that apron (there's better ones...in MULTICAM even).
This is what I bought
Don't mess with that other retarded website that guy posted.
Order from Amazon. Its almost even cheaper. And there is no catch, just make sure it is amazon who is fulfilling your order. Heres a link for some ray bans, for $78. Thats almost $50 off.

I think the most disappointing gifts I have received for my birthday would be car accidents. No, they're not gifts, but I did get them on two seperate birthdays.
On my 29th, on my way to my birthday dinner/picking up my date. It took 2 hours to get that wrapped up.
3 years later on my 32nd birthday, I got rear ended. I'm never driving on my birthday again.
I really want these American Flag aviators.
After leaving behind my Ray-bans in a limo, I said fuck it and bought a 5 dollar pair off of amazon. They look identical, feel decent enough in terms of quality, and are polarized.
