> I'm sure this happened to him daily having this feeling of love for those that absolutely reject him but I don't handle it as well as him

no that's not what happened.. read his book.. and you'll be clearer.. from what I read you got it completely wrong.. (but for another yeshua I've talked to/listened to.. yah that one did retreat into his sacred heart or recommended it for us)

it's hard to be einstein in the land of primitives, yes.. they just need a education and you'd be equal.

> but I don't handle it as well as him

you never could.. to have that kind of energy/love.. takes work! A lot of work in that aspect of loving yourself of "unconditional love".. of running energy and building up fields of it.. that don't get you 'disconnected' as your creating now.. so if you do want it?? you'd have to do the work..

Ancient Aliens is awesome! I've even read the book it's based off of "Chariots of the Gods".

The jump to "Aliens did it" is a bit much for me but the show makes you think. It shows you some really cool historical locations, where a group of ancient people had an understanding of the world and technology that doesn't fit into our standard historical model.

A great example would be "Pumapunku", I think whatever the truth is behind a location like this will be far more fascinating than a bunch of grey dudes showing up for no reason other than to give the History Channel something to make money off of thousands of years later.

I find your curiosity wonderful.

From my understanding, Kriya Yoga is considered yoga focused on creating mental action or "kriyas". It is like creating a hurricane of mental power, and it becomes like fire, and burns through levels of thoughts. Paramhamsa Yogananda is famous for having introduced this form of yoga in the United States in the first-half of the 1900s.

I began Kriya Yoga without instruction, on my own, and since I executed the kriyas incorrectly, I began experiencing serious mental consequences, such as very basic psychosis; unsurprisingly, the book warned readers of this, which is why it also strongly advised seeking out a teacher before assuming this form of yoga. I am now a student of someone whom I consider has walked the path much, much further than I.

Here is where I found my teacher. His name is Sri Mukherjee. His spiritual pedigree includes Paramahamsa Yogananda.

Here and here you may read his 2 books written on the practice, only as a general guide and superficial dispelling of some barriers kriyabans (practitioners of Kriya Yoga) face in their practice. Toward the end of the first book - or perhaps it was the second - he mentions very interesting experiences he had related to Kriya Yoga.

Feel free to ask me more questions, although I am limited in my understanding.

FYI.

"COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum" was apparently first posted in 2008 on a Ron Paul affiliated forum.

Its has since been rebranded as part of "The Gentleman's Guide To Forum Spies" a mash-up of playbooks on online deception, manipulation, disinformation, propaganda, you name it.

Part 2, "Twenty-Five Rules of Disinformation and 3, "Eight Traits of the Disinformationalist were written by a conspirationist named H. Michael Sweeney, a.k.a "The Professional Paranoid" in the late nineties (1997?)

Part 4 is claimed to come from a booklet "How To Spot a Spy" and was last edited (at least the version circulating) by a "batshit insane blogger and crank, who calls herself a "scientific mystic and PaleoChristian Shaman", Laura Knight Jadczyk, author of highly praised books such as "9/11 the Ultimate Truth" and "
High Strangeness: Hyperdimensions & The Process Of Alien Abduction
.

part 5 "[Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression]
(http://www.dcdave.com/article3/991228.html)" may have been written in 1999 by a guy named David Martin from the American Patriot Network or American Freedom Network, they would probably call themselves America Great Again Freedom Network nowadays... you get the idea.

You might want to read about the GCHQ's JTRIG unit

Peace

I had the same problem. As AsaTJ said if you want a physical copy of the poetic edda (the best resourse there is on norse myth) Amazon has it. I'd also recommend "The Penguin Book of Norse Myths by Kevin Crossley-Holland". It gives a lot of history and references as well as the myths themselves. It's great for getting an idea of the times and context.

The lyrics reference a theory by Drunvalo Melchizedik about supposed stages of human evolution and becoming post-human or trans-human or something. Maynard's auto-biography says as much about his interest in Melchizedik's work at the time of that albums writing.

Your thoughts on Drunvalo's theories are your own to pursue. I've personally found some value in his practical exercises, much interest in his geometric work, and much laughter in his ideas about biology; your mileage may vary.

Good book I read a while back, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007YC6G3W/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 also found a very good declassified CIA doc on the true nature of reality and humans involvement. https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP96-00788R001700210016-5.pdf

R/stoicism is a pretty good source to get started and have discussion, if you filter through the bullshit (like anywhere). Other than that, the three primary philosophers were Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and Epictetus. Read anything by them to get a good picture of the philosophy. Something like this would do.

The Great Pyramid mystery is finally resolved and revealed in the book Frankenstar. available on Amazon in paperback and ebook. https://www.amazon.com/Frankenstar-Starseed-William-OConnor-ebook/dp/B077Y8MXLK/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=N9D91QCHPTZ116VP6V54

All of the information about Hyperianism is freely available to anyone who is curious. Iamhyperian.com is a good start, but the main document outlining their manifesto can be found right here, for free.. https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Document-Shadow-Light-Wisdom-ebook/dp/B07J1Z7PHL Yeah they're a cult, trying to brainwash people to think for themselves...

This is the new book... finally. 'Jesus in Britain'

Jesus came to Britain many times, eventually living here. He is related to the British royal family, the Roman invasion of Britain is because of their search for Jesus. Many truths are revealed within this book.

A deeply controversial, humorous, book based on historical facts and conjecture.

u/daripious · 2 pointsr/Fantasy

Any more clues beyond it's "fantasy"? :)

Two books I can think of that might be the one are:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lost-Lands-Magickal-History-Atlantis-ebook/dp/B008OWLVWM Which is on my shelf to be read

and this 7 book series: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aleron-Kong/e/B0176S6G6A
Which is some litrpg stuff, wasn't sure about it to start with but warmed to it after the first two books.

I am almost through with David Sykes' book. He is a serious scientist who methodically combed the world looking for DNA evidence. His story is really good, and he kept an open mind. I am not quite sure what his conclusion will be, as I still have a few chapters left.

u/goingtodie · 1 pointr/AskReddit

There isn't intelligent life anywhere else. The universe has existed for close to 14 billion years. Unless a 'no contact policy' has been adopted by more intelligent beings, there is only us.

EDIT: This isn't just my opinion. It is the growing consensus among astronomers. Check out a book called Extraterrestrial: Where are They?. It is a series of essays by various scientists and a couple of them discuss the fact that the absence of contact by extraterrestrials is an astonishing fact that appears to defy simple explanation.

u/cyclops1771 · 3 pointsr/facepalm

There was a book called The Deep Hot Biosphere by Thomas Gold that goes WAY in depth on this subject. There was a book called 9 Crazy Ideas in Science That Might Be True by Robert Ehrlichhat summarized the ideas behind it, including Gold's (as well as 8 other weird science things.) It's a bit dated (probably from early 2000's.)

Ce qui est avancé sans preuve est réfuté sans preuve.

Edit : Je viens de penser mais un bouquin, quel qu'il soit, si il est écrit par n'importe qui peut raconter n'importe quoi. La preuve....
