I've used greens products for a long time and love them. I've used over a dozen different kinds, but some of the ones I liked most are:

Vitamineral Green

NOW Fruits and Greens Phytofoods

Amazing Grass

Green Vibrance

The Vitamineral Green is, in my opinion, the best green powder on the market. It's like they stuffed the Green Giant in a wood chipper and bottled the chips. When you open the glass bottle that it comes in a waft of extremely fine green dust billows over the lip of the bottle, like you're opening some science fiction bio-hazard containment cylinder. Way cool. Seriously, one quarter teaspoon of this will turn a blender full of fruits dark green. The ingredient profile is twice as good as any other powder I've seen, with the possible exception of Pure Synergy. In my personal experience, there are two downsides to this stuff. One, it tastes like you're drinking swamp water at first. Eventually you get used to it and the bite goes out of drinking it, but the first week or two is rough when you're getting on a routine of it. Second, this is the only powder I've ever tried that genuinely gave me a cleansing reaction. I know, this is seen as a good thing by some people. I see the results of the cleanse AFTER IT'S OVER as a good thing. There is nothing good at all about a cleanse while it is in progress. Let's just say that for the first 4 or 5 days of using this powder I was the Grand Poobah of the Porcelain Palace.

The NOW Fruits and Greens Phytofoods is the one I'm using at the moment. It's sort of gritty, but the flavor is surprisingly good because they add natural berry flavoring, and it has fruits in addition to greens (hence the name). There is some lecithin and maca in it as filler, but both of these ingredients have health benefits of their own, so it's not too bad. NOW is a very reputable company, and the one time I had a problem with one of their products (not this one) they immediately sent me a new one free of charge. That's a big plus for this powder in my book.

The Amazing Grass is, as I'm sure you can tell by the name, mainly grass. There isn't a whole lot of genuine "superfood" type stuff here, but everything in it is still very good for you. So even though it is more diluted with fluff than the other ones, it still tastes great, especially the chocolate flavor. In fact, I liked the flavor of Amazing Grass more than any of the other powders I've tried. It's relatively cheap when you buy it in bulk off of their website. They have this huge 100 serving container which is pretty awesome because it comes with it's own little scooper. That, along with the taste, are why I'd recommend it as a beginner greens powder. If you like it and find that you're taking it regularly with no problems, then move up to something more concentrated.

The Green Vibrance is similar to the Vitamineral Green in that it has almost as many good ingredients and it is a very dark green, finely ground powder, but I didn't feel the same "oomph" when I took it. That could just be me, though. It is still a great powder and I could tell that I didn't have as much energy throughout the day when I forgot to take it. It does have a good upside that none of the other powders have: it stays suspended in water the best. That is actually a very good thing because it means that the powder is finely ground and so absorbs into your bloodstream more efficiently.

I've never heard about the Catie's Organic Greens, perhaps I'll have to try it. I hope my amateur reviews help you!

I'm going through the same thing right now. I recently started using HabitRPG as a fun little way to keep track of things I should be doing and rewarding myself when I keep on task. Here are some of the little rituals I've started doing:

  • Make my bed every morning. I know, everyone suggests this. I thought it was BS until I started doing it a month ago, but it's that one little thing that reminds me that I have control over my life.
  • Take vitamins and medication daily - for me, it's a daily multivitamin, Vitamin D, fish oil, Claritin, and an antidepressant. I don't know how much the vitamins are helping me (I know the medication is), but again, it's the little things sometimes.
  • Do something self-affirming daily - I've been trying to do a few tasks on Happify every day as well as track my daily mood and what I've done to improve it, like get enough sleep, eat enough, talk to supportive people. I guess it's my half-assed attempt at self-administering cognitive-behavioral therapy.
  • Nightly spa ritual - when I get out of the shower, I slather myself head to toe with moisturizer. I've been thinking that I need to add a facial mask to this at least once a week.
  • Dishes off of counters and out of the sink before I go to bed
  • Drink more water and less soda and alcohol all day every day
  • Daily stretch/exercise (I've actually stopped doing it, but I really should start again. DailyBurn helped, but there's only so much I can take of super cheery exercise people before they start to piss me off.)
  • Eat dinner at home every night (unless I'm having dinner with friends/family) - my go-to has been a baked chicken breast + a bag of microwave veggies, though on the weekend I'll try to make a nicer one-pot meal. I'm one of those terrible people that can't stand eating leftovers, so the "make a big batch of something on the weekend" doesn't really work for me.
  • Make sure all the trash is in the trash can and everything is in its proper place before I go to bed
  • Try to clean one room every day - usually a surface clean, like wiping off the mirror and sink in the bathroom, or scrubbing the stove, or dusting the living room. For bigger tasks, save it for the weekend and try to do one small part, like clean off a desk, or get everything off the floor. I need to start focusing on this again myself.
  • Vacuum the apartment once a week.
  • Make sure my dirty clothes are in a hamper or bin and not on the floor before I go to bed
  • Wash the laundry and hang it up when it's clean (my least favorite thing to do, but it's so nice when it's done).
  • Clean my makeup brushes once a week. It's a little annoying waiting for them to dry though (I should buy a second set of makeup brushes...)
  • Really, just cleaning schedules in general

    Also, set up a list of general to-dos, like getting a haircut, talking to a family member/friend that you haven't connected with in a while, or a twee little project from Pinterest that looks easy and will help organize your stuff (I have a corkboard necklace display and a magnetic makeup board on mine). When you're thinking "Man, I wish I had something to do right now," you can go to that list and cross something off.

I know that this one is good because I actually allowed myself to cycle so long with orals and tren that I ended up with yellow eyes. This was before I knew about TUDCA. So anyway, after being scared to death and doing serious research on learned about TUDCA and bought a lot off amazon. I took 4 pills a day for about 2 months and then got blood work. My liver values where better than they were than my very first blood test which was done before I ever touched a single AAS. So anyway, this is how I know this stuff is good stuff. I feel like I have before and after blood work plus yellow eyes to know this stuff is the bomb. I now always use it on cycle and have used with heavy doses of tren (1 G a week) plus sdrol and I'm still good to go.

Last reply before I need to get out of the house. Yes, fighting hunger can be tough, especially in the last hour or two of the 16-hour fast. I fight it by drinking water and coffee (not to excess, just a cup when hunger begins), and by staying busy with work to keep my mind off it. [Edit: R-Lipoic acid also has proven appetite-suppressant, weight loss effects.] It gets easier with time, as your body learns to accept a certain level of hunger, which sometimes even passes on its own. That, I believe, is a function of the body's improved handling of insulin levels. Just keep in mind that the human body didn't evolve to be constantly fed. For most of our evolutionary development, we experienced frequent but temporary levels of hunger as we hunted and gathered, before agriculture gave us a more steady supply of food, so remember that enduring a bit of hunger is actually much more healthy and natural than feeding the sensation the moment it pops up. After just a few weeks of intermittent fasting, contrary to myth that "breakfast is the most important meal," I felt noticeable improvements in energy and mental clarity throughout the day.

For my eating window, I don't bother trying to eat a commensurate amount of calories. I just eat normal-sized meals, without eating excess carbs (I'm not fully keto) in order to avoid blood sugar spikes and crashes. I have lunch at the end of my 16-hour window, then a protein bar or some trail mix for a light snack mid-afternoon, then a normal, healthy dinner. When I have lunch the next day depends on when I eat dinner (+16 hours, of course). I consume absolutely no food or sugar during the fast period (drink coffee black), as this will cancel out the benefits of the fast.

I dont know about leaky gut, but I have more energy and feel better doing keto (9 months in). I will say that I started doing supplements as well that have made some differences. I take a daily multi, potassium, and magnesium.

I do sleep a bit better since keto but what has made a HUGE difference is tart cherry extract. I got it to reduce muscle soreness and downtime between workouts (major difference) but apparently it also improves sleep. Massively for me. 45 minutes to an hour after taking it I get fairly tired and I no longer wake up 3-4 times a night. I sleep 6-8 hours straight without interruption and it's incredible.

There is an entire chapter devoted to CoQ10 in the book It Starts with the Egg. I'm not typing out an entire chapter and honestly I'm too lazy to take pictures of every page and upload to imgur. I will however give you a brief TL;DR.

The TL;DR looks something like this: CoQ10 is found in every cell in the body and plays a role in making energy in the body as well as recyclying vitamin E, an antioxidant. There is a theory that part of why older eggs are lower quality is because of declines in the function of the mitochondria in the egg. The egg doesn't have enough energy to properly during key points in cell replication and it leads to some errors. CoQ10 is thought to help give the mitochondria the boost they need to provide enough energy for proper division/replication thereby reducing the number of errors.

Here is a quote from the book:

>Research has shown that human embryos with poorly functioning mitochondria are more likely to have disrupted chromosomal processing machinery and chaotic chromosome distribution. Other research shows that if you intentionally damage mitochondria in mouse eggs, the ATP level goes down, and the machinery that separates chromosomes disassembles and malfunctions. As discused earlier in the chapter, errors in the number of chromosome copies are the single greatest cause of failure of embryos to survive the first week, implantation failures, and early pregnancy loss.

The book also says that:

>Based on all the scientific knowledge about the importance of fully functioning mitochondria to egg and embryo quality, it stands to reason that anything we can do to boost mitochondrial function and help eggs produce more energy will improve egg quality and embryo viability. Research suggests that CoQ10 does just that.

The book also recommends supplementing CoQ10 in the form ubiquinol not ubiquinone. And the recommend dosage is between 100-300mg per day, taken with food for increased absorption.

I really like the book as it seems to more or less just be a compilation of the recent research (as of when the book was published in 2014) that is presented in an easier to read/understand format. There are 45 citations in the CoQ10 chapter alone. Granted some of that is citing basic information on what CoQ10 is, it's role in the body and such. Not all of those citations are related to fertility. But still.

ETA: I don't know if you're a member of a warehouse club like Sam's or Costco but I know that CoQ10 is way cheaper at Costco than I've found it pretty much anywhere else. I won't say it was cheap still though. It was still around $30 for 90 200mg capsules. This is about the cheapest I've found on Amazon.

Definitely get a wrist brace, they will support your tendons and make a world of difference. I like these ones.

Also it's worth doing some exercises every day. I get tennis elbow and other tendon problems now and again and use a Theraband flexbar. There's a flexbar exercise called the Tyler Twist which is good for the tendons. The bar comes with a booklet showing a lot of exercises you can do with it.


Finally, consider taking astaxanthin every day. It's an antioxident with anti-inflammatory properties which really helps with tendon problems. You might also get some good results by taking a turmeric supplement (or adding it liberally to your food).

You should get some Coenzyme Q10, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (ie fish oil or algae oil), Astaxanthin, and lots and lots of Garlic. Your heart and cardiovascular system will thank you.

Also make sure to exercise (not while on stimulants) regularly and vigorously (heart rate is up for a while), be mindful of your salt intake, be mindful of your trans/saturated fats (processed foods), and try to download/use a meditation app like Headspace.

Yeah they're a little lower than what's recommended but they'll work. They've got the vitamins but are lacking magnesium, which helps with jaw-clenching. And TUMS taken when you drop will extend the roll.

Ok so it could be depression and it could be something else. Perhaps it’s not low T if you’re fitness and diet regimen is in check. Diet most inportabtly. Try a test booster if you haven’t already. With those symptoms they’ll likely recommend you to a psychiatrist and I don’t believe in that type of medicine anymore unless it pertains to extreme mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder ect.

I generally just take the most potent Ashwagandha I can find. You need to be careful though, because it can cause thyroid problems, which can lead to arrhythmias.

Edit: I remember reading studies about N-acetyl Cysteine helping drink rats metabolize alcohol. It looks like they've made it into an anti-redness supplement, which is use at your own risk because the supplement industry is pretty much unregulated in the US. But the redness is the buildup up of acetaldehyde, so no matter what you're likely doing more damage to your liver than your non-glowy friends drinking the same amount. I doubt topical products would help.

ALA in it's alpha form isn't the best product to take. You end up pissing out most of it. It doesn't absorb well at all. Ever notice your urine stinks when you take it? R- Lipoic Acid is absorbed much better.

R-Lipoic Acid This is the one I take. I started taking it for the very reason you claimed, it helps when you overdue a carb here or there and with me being hypoglycemic and occasionally having bouts of reactive hypoglycemia (esp when I eat to much protein) it helps keep that under control. Just came back from the bar actually. I'm trying this for the first time/bottle. I've had varied outcomes over my past few outings, but there have also been variables such as not eating much/carbs, time interval in taking the tablets before drinking, and drinking alcohols with varied %'s.

The directions suggest taking 2 pills an hour prior to drinking, and I initially tested the limits by taking them only immediately before drinks or only taking 1 pill. My latest iteration has brought me to following the instructions as well as the follow up of taking 2 more at the bar, which seemed to work tonight.

I think this stuff is similar to the elixir that was spammed here a few weeks back, but at least it's in a more portable pill form.

This is also supposed to be better than antacids because it doesn't just cover up the symptoms, but it provides your body the organic chems it needs to break down the alcohol.

Can report back when I've exhausted trials, just ordered another bottle since it only comes 30 in one.

These guys have basically built a Verified review machine. I would advise them not to fly too close to the sun, as it's obvious these 'Verified' reviews aren't truly Verified.
