Thanks for the advice and the encouragement. We have three of these lights but for obvious reasons we don't need them all. We have a GH dual diaphragm air pump and plenty of stones for oxygen. We don't want the extra complications and such from a rec. DWC, plus we have carpet in the room. However, all these smells do fade with time so we should be able to tell in a month or so.
