My little girl just got her 5th tooth today! So far, this scalp brush thingy is her favorite thing gnaw on when a tooth is coming in. I also freeze breast milk into popsicles and she enjoys that too! I’m sure formula would work the same! Sometimes she likes to chew on a cold washcloth as well.

And for the bigger things, you can usually find ones that fold up or are collapsible. I know there are swings and bouncers that can be folded when not in use. For bathtubs, there are ones like the Puj, that fit in the sink and can fold up when not in use, there are ones shaped like flowers that do the same, there are inflatable ones (though I don't think those are recommended for newborns), and I have a Fisher Price one that has a hook on one end so I can just hang it in the shower when it's not being used.

Some examples:

Ingenuity Swing 'n Go Portable Baby Swings, Hugs & Hoots https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B017XNL39S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_NtNTCbTQKC1HB

I live in an apartment, and almost everything I've bought can be folded up or is otherwise easy to store. It's totally doable.

My 2 1/2 year old gets a “bath” every night as part of bedtime routine but usually only really bathe him twice a week or as needed depending on how dirty he got that day. Our almost 2 month old I’m bathing twice a week not really on any specific days - but definitely on days she has big blow out poops - I have a bath linked below that I use on countertop on the edge of the sink in the kitchen. I set a towel on the counter for cushion and then her baby towel laid out on top ready to wrap her in - we used this with my son too and when he got a little more playful we set it in he bottom of the tub without the lower tray attached and then when he could sit up in his own just went to the tub without anything and had non slip grip things on bottom of tub. We just had a few inches of water in tub then.

I have this little bath time sling thingy made by jolly jumper. I hold her under the water (test it with your elbow first) for a bit then set her down on it with a warm washcloth on her tummy while I wash myself then when I'm done taking care of my needs I pick her up and wash her.

It's not so much as what he says but his reaction when I'm around if you know what I mean...😉. I have to tell him to wait until the doctors given the all clear before he gets what he wants lol

Hey!! I didn't forget about you I just took a really long time to get to my replies because at the end of my pregnancy I had less attention span and energy. Now I have a kid and I have the same problem, lol but at least she sleeps sometimes so even though I should be sleeping too I wanted to reply to all my replies.

I never heard of keeping a changing table in the bathroom but I know that they make something that might work for this. was this what you had in mind? I think if you don't have the space for a changing table in the bedroom than the bathroom could work. I hope you work it out. :)

We use a tiny bit of Aveeno but put it on a konjac sponge. It makes lots of lather and is super gentle!

I have the vista and we bought a rumble seat but we are only on baby 1 (16 weeks). I can’t be helpful on your questions but I can say that there is an insert for the seat so that it will be comfy for the baby. I’m thinking of buying the snug seat because he gets uncomfortable in his car seat for long. This may work and allow both your kids to ride together before your older one outgrows it. There is also a piggyback attachment that allows your older one to stand on the stroller while you push to easily hop on and off. That can extend the use of the stroller for you and make it more compatible for both younger and older LOs.

we have a puj tub. I love that it collapses completly flat and hangs on the back of the door. Its made to fit in a sink.. which is great because sitting on the edge of a tub or kneeling to bath a baby is uncomfertable for me. For us its one less thing to have to move before we take a shower, or something to store.

u/chemkara · 5 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I wear only a tank top when washing my face at the sink. Put on cleansing oil, rub it in then wet one of these Bamboo washcloths for babies, they are super soft! Swipe all over face, neck and chest.
Cleanse with gel cleanser then do the same with the washcloths. I repeat until all the soap is gone.
These wash cloths are so soft that they don’t irritate my skin. I love them so much that I bought bath sheets and face towel as well.

Nice! I use Johnson's natural baby shampoo. Works like a dream!

u/hotncold1994 · 1 pointr/CaminoDeSantiago

these are the exact plugs I used You just smush them in until they form a seal. Super comfortable, never came out, and did their job!

I brought a small quick dry towel Not super sure how you would go about it otherwise, unless you dry with dirty clothes? Albergues don't provide towels.

You might not need a sleeping bag! I can't speak from experience, but it seems like it's hot enough in the summer that many people use sleeping bag liners just fine. I used a 50 degree sleeping bag in October and had it unzipped many nights. Don't rely on albergue blankets though... bleh

I didn't even know these existed so thank you for bringing them up! Obviously haven't used them either but I have used the Johnson & Johnson soothing vapor wash when she gets really congested which I liked.

We have this inflatable bath tub, in the duck pattern. It has a suction cup to hang it up after use and it's good quality. I highly recommend it!! http://www.amazon.com/Kel-Gar-Snug-Tub-Elephant-Supersize-32/dp/B000056JB8/

I've got a couple of wild heathens (1.5yr old boys) and baths aren't as difficult as I had originally expected. It takes a bit of strength and swiftness to get both into the bath at the same time, but there are a few key things we do to pull it off.

If two parents are present, one focuses on the bath and the other focuses on laying out towels, PJ's and diapers. We also try to keep all of the nearby doors closed so they can't run out of the bathroom dripping wet into other parts of the house.

The key is to be fast and keep them distracted.

- Water temperature should be slightly cold or lukewarm. They hate warm water.

- We fill the bathtub with water toys like rubber ducks and a bath pipe toy set.

- The kneepad/elbow rest makes it so much easier to kneel down at their level.

- We mix their body wash with water and put inside of a foamer so that foam instantly comes out. Literally saving a few seconds to worry about lathering has proven to be valuable.

- Although it's kind-of crazy, I put foam on both heads and use both of my hands simultaneously to wash their hair (multitasking!). We also put foam on their chests and they think it's funny to help and rub it in themselves.

- Baby burrito! The washing parent hands one child to the prepping parent for drying off. Repeat.

We went with this tub because it had multi-stage use. I love the blue base because it can be a footstool later on, atm we use it as a seat.

u/baby-owl · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

We're looking at this one for now - I like how flat it gets!

u/shnuffleupagus · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

We used this tub on the kitchen counter at first, then on the floor of the shower (once he started splashing around and sitting up in the tub), for about two years before we moved to a house with a tub. It's not as convenient as a tub, but it worked just fine.

I put the Burt's Bees Mama Bee Oil (because it's what I had and other oils irritate my skin) on her head about 10-15min before bath time, and then used the dermafrida to wash her hair. It was gone in a couple of days. I regularly use the dermafrida to wash my babe's hair too - she seems to really like the head massage it gives.
