That should be the case because he has way more of a presents on reddit. Thats natural most likely though he could be paying for reddit space as well. I remember not too long ago the Warren sub was extremely small but her stuff was all over r/all. Not stuff from her sub, just her in general. Reddit has absolutely been paid to showcase her in a positive light. I'm not trying to debate if thats a good or bad thing either, just that its happening. Even look at the "best" comments in a lot of these post. They're akin to items with only 5 star reviews on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Danze-D444006-Toilet-Holder-Chrome/product-reviews/B00CB2K8ZM/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews

"Love this. Very solid, not cheap looking and easy to use"

"Good quality, nice product."

Thats more or less the "best" comments in these post.

"I was very impressed by her energy and warmth."

"Bigger than trumps last rally!"

"A friend from college was there and got to meet her. He said the energy there was amazing and that he really felt like he was shaking hands with the next President."

Its very suspect. Even up votes to comment ratios are way off for a lot of these. Sometimes (not in this case) you'll have a post thats 40k upvotes but only 200 comments. That only happens in subs like this when the post is about some political figure when the post is of them in a positive light (or negative if its republican). Reddit is absolutely helping political figures with PR. And again I'm not suggesting thats a good or bad thing, just that its happening.

Here's my 2 cents.

  • Don't get the kinetic bullet pullet. They are messy and break easily. Look at the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller and associated collet for your caliber. Works super well.

  • With the Lee Gauge/Holder thing for case trimming. Stick that sucker in a drill (I use a drill press). I believe you will need this piece as well to hold the gauge.

  • Drop the digital scale. The kit comes with a balance beam scale that's probably more accurate and doesn't require a warm up time. It's also not sensitive to what type of lighting you use.

  • Highly recommend the Hornady Comparator for your calipers. It makes measuring the round much more accurate. You'll probably also want the OAL Gauge down the road.

  • The Chronograph is nice but you won't need it until after you have worked up your load. Then you'll shoot a 10 shot string over it and not touch it again. It might be better to leave that for a later purchase or see if you can borrow one for a day once you're ready.

  • I have a RCBS Rock Chucker and I converted it with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Bushings and it's awesome. I'm not sure if the lee can do that but it would be a nice addon.

  • Buy a powder trickler. It will keep you sane and save you time until you can buy a automated trickler. It's big $$ but ultimately worth it.

Otherwise good luck. Your first load will be scary but once you get the hang of it you'll be amazed at the accuracy you can achieve. Also the self reliance part is cool too!

EDIT: If you're looking at a tumbler get the stainless steel kind. WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better than anything else. So good that I've switched to bring my brass to a buddy who has one instead of doing it in my media tumbler.
u/danny0wnz · 2 pointsr/xboxone

I was looking for something similar for a while. I ended up getting 3M command strips, and using those to attach to a cut piece of over-door hook that worked surprisingly well. Clear too so not really noticeable and mountable just about anywhere. If you needed a pic I could get one for you. Also 3M has a spice tray that works pretty well for a standard controller but not so much on an elite. If you shop around they should have something that would accommodate an Xbox one controller nicely by now..

Edit: I know from experience that these work pretty well. The medium size holds a ps4 controller nicely, as it's a bit more slim-lined. I would think the large would be close to perfect for an X1 controller. I can also provide a pic of the medium size of you need it.

Something like this or this could work. The reason I went this route is so I wouldn't have to drill into the walls, and easily moveable as I move my room around often. Good luck

Frankford Arsenal powder trickler. Compact, nice heavy base for stability, even flow. I also have an RCBS trickler and hate it. It's not as stable and the dispensing arm thingy is a weird two piece design that never seem to flow well for me.
GemPro 250 digital scale. Do not waste your money on cheaper options. I don't have experience with the chargemaster type of scale. I like to do things manually.
Redding Imperial Sizing Die Wax. Best stuff there is. Works amazingly well. I also keep a lanolin/alcohol spray lube around for doing large batch work, but Imperial Sizing Wax does a better job.
Hornady Bullet Comparator set. You don't mention what cartridges you're reloading. THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE 6.5mm. There's a 14 insert kit that includes more, or you can buy just the few inserts you need.
Frankford Arsenal bullet puller. I buy what's cheap. These don't last forever. All the hammering eventually cracks the plastic. I've tried several brands and they all break eventually. I usually keep two on hand.

So that covers what you already know you need. Here are some more recommendations.

Hornady 9th Edition. I use this more than all my other manuals combined. I shoot a lot of Hornady bullets, though. If you already have a favorite bullet brand, you should buy that brand's manual.

Lyman Shooters Check Weights. I use these every single time I reload. I like knowing that my scale isn't lying to me. Digital scales can be finicky sometimes! These are worth every penny.

Hornady Headspace Comparator set. This is a lot like the bullet comparator set, except that it measure to the shoulder of the case instead of the ogive of the bullet. If you're planning on monitoring the amount you're bumping your shoulders during resizing, this is what you need.

Lyman Case Prep Multi-Tool. The chamfer tool that came with your kit will do the job, but this Lyman multi tool is my preferred method. It also comes with primer pocket scrapers that will be useful, and primer pocket reamers you should throw away and never use.

RCBS Uniflow Powder Baffle. This will help your uniflow powder measure throw more consistent charges.

RCBS Advanced Powder Measure Stand. If you're going to do a permanent installation of your powder measure on your bench, you will want this stand. Its price is absurd, but it's a great stand.

RCBS Universal case loading block. Your kit came with one, but you need at least one more.

What is your plan for cleaning brass? Wet tumbling with steel pins is the way to go. I have the Frankford Arsenal unit. It's huge and noisy. If I had it to do over I would purchase the dual drum tumbler from Harbor Freight and buy steel pins from Amazon.

Redding dies don't come with shellholders. Did you remember to get one?

What is your plan for case trimming? You don't mention what you're reloading. The cheapest option, which is actually my preferred method, is the Lee case length gauge and shellholders with their cutter and lock studs.

There are some additional case prep tools, but they would depend on what you're doing. If you are dealing with brass that has military crimps, you'll need tools to deal with that. There are primer pocket brushes, primer pocket uniformers, flash hole deburring tools, and a million other little things.

That's all that's coming to mind right now. I'm sure I missed some stuff.

Congrats on the new home. Looks like a nice space.

I would look into replacing the tile with hardwood or laminate. Especially in the living room/bedrooms. I know that will be really expensive, but I would make this a main, large project priority. I think it will really warm up the whole atmosphere.

In the meantime, here are some other suggestions:

  • Hang the duster and hook inside the cupboard under the sink. Looks kind of gross having it on display. Especially around food.
  • Get a soap dispenser for the dishsoap
  • Add and under cabinet paper towel rack. The less stuff you have on the counters, the better.
  • Hang all your art with a centre height of 58-63 inches. Pick a height and make sure all of them follow the same position. This is known as gallery hanging, and makes the room look balanced and more cohesive, and aligned, regardless of the sizes of the art.
  • Rotate the table by the front door.
  • Get some rugs to break up large amount of tile, pull the room together, and make the space look cozier and more home-y. Get one for the living room, and one for the bedroom
  • Move the sofa away from the wall so it is centred with the TV. Then add a thin side table, so that people have a place to put drinks while enjoying the space. Centre the TV, sofa, and dining table with TV wall.
  • Add a table runner to your dining table
  • Add some art to the walls
  • Add a clock to the wall (also hung with a centre point the same as the art)
  • Remove the flags from the french doors
  • Remove the paper holder from the counter
  • Add some plants
  • Might just be the angle of the photo but the whale pic and bed, don't look centred properly
  • Move the night table closer to the bed, to avoid having it in front of the window
  • Add a mirror above the dresser, a full length mirror behind the door, and a wall mirror by the front door. Want to make sure you look good, before heading out.

Congrats again and good luck. More than happy to help out if you have any other questions too.

Adulting soo hard .... is SO hard.

  • Your favorite scented candle and a candle lighter (I like to try and make new places smell like my own ASAP)

  • Drain Snake

  • Tools. I got this tool set and use it allllll of the time. I get really annoyed by loose knobs or pan handles and it is nice to be able to fix them! Here it is on Amazon if you are trying to keep you list there but it was cheaper at Walmart

  • A toilet paper roll holder you like. I helped a friend move into a house 2 weeks ago and it didnt have a roller! You can get the stand kind that doesn't screw into anything, the classic kind or my favorite, the hook kind

  • Cheese Grater

  • Peeler (like for potatoes)

  • Deepending in where you live, get some sidewalk salt and a snow shovel BEFORE you move because you dont want to be walking on snow and ice going back and forth between the vehicle and the house.

  • A knife sharpener (sharp knives change lives when cooking)

  • A few extra power strips, I recommend at least one with like 12 plugs.

  • Batteries for all of your remotes and fire alarms

  • LIGHTBULBS! Places have the yellow bulbs but last year I discovered LED Daylight bulbs that are more of a white/natural light than the yellow bulbs that are the standard. They make me feel less like I live in a dark cave.

  • One of those sleep masks that you can heat up or freeze. Sometimes sleeping in a new place is hard and this might help.

Finally, this is the first time you are moving in with an SigOther so make sure you have something that you can do on your own. Both of you should. It is good for you mentally if you know that you have the ability to go curl up with a book and your favorite warm blanket or something if you get a little annoyed with your SO and you feel like you need a break.

If I have anything else I will post it. But goodluck!

u/saint_gutfree · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Well, I know that bandaids, neosporin and aspirin/motrin are the three things that I absolutely never think of when I'm moving somewhere new... until I need them. So make sure you have those! It's easy to forget them amongst all the other stuff you're buying.

This is something that I've always thought looked like a very useful space saver for an apartment. Here is a slightly pricier version that also includes a spot for magazines!

And, for what I think is absolutely one of the most useful investments for an apartment, in terms of saving time and making good food, is a crock pot. Mine has helped me out on so many occasions, whether I'm cooking for a big group of friends, bringing food to a party, or just making something for my SO and I. And you can leave it on while you leave the house, which means you come home to hot dinner :)

I’ve had good luck with these

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JMXKX5M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-iH5BbHDHQBZ0

They look pretty nice and I just tighten them every couple of months by hand and they stay up great. I have a nice big tiled shower and didn’t want to drill through the tile.

u/fearswindowlessdoors · 2 pointsr/succulents

Probably not what you're looking for, but I actually already bought this shelf because it is the perfect size to sit on my extra-deep window sill. Super versatile, super plant-sized, and probably gonna buy another 1-2 because I just realized I think I can actually fit 3 of these in my one window.

My favorite part of the holiday is getting to spend time with my family. Since leaving for college I don't get to see them all as much or be at home so its really nice spending so much time with them all.

I would love this toilet paper holder for my bathroom if I win.

For everyone who needs a place to put it, while using a tissue:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014SUU8A4/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520377988&sr=8-1-spell&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Toilet+paper+ho+der+smartphone

I use the JTech grip case for my Switch. Coincidentally the flat space between the grips on those case has the same length as this metal top. Therefore it fits perfectly and makes it a pretty secure place where the Switch doesn't accidentally fall on the ground because it perfectly locks in place.

u/I_See_Dead_Redditors · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I have a whole wishlist dedicated to add-ons.

This would be awesome. But if you want to pick and surprise me if I am chosen that is cool to :)

u/Rick91981 · 20 pointsr/HomeImprovement

This might be stupid, but why not just use one of those 3M command hooks? They hold really well and you wouldn't have to worry about how to screw into the plaster. Would easily hold a leash and harness and they have metalic looking ones that are pretty nice: https://www.amazon.com/Command-Double-Nickel-1-Large-Water-Resistant/dp/B01C60C4FU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1518910748&sr=8-4&keywords=command+double+hook

>Seating Die:

Seating dies push the bullet down into the case and for pistol cases remove the belling done by the expanding die. Many seating dies can optionally apply a crimp, though some people dislike this because the bullet is still being pushed downward as the crimp is applied. Some seating dies come with multiple or reversible seating stems, this allow you to seat different profiled bullets(FMJ/Ball, Spitzer, VLD, etc) bullets without damaging them.

>Crimp Die:

Crimping dies push the case mouth into the jacket/lead of the bullet. This helps secure the bullet from ‘walking’ out of the case under recoil. There are taper crimps, often used in semi-auto oriented rounds that start from the base of the bullet and slowly narrow as it moves upwards towards the bullet and roll crimps which fold the very edge of the case mouth inwards. Roll crimps are often used on revolver cartridges like 44mag or 38spl and rifle rounds. Taper crimps are used on things like 9mm.

>Factory Crimp Die:

A Factory Crimp Die or FCD is kind of like a fail safe. If a bullet is slightly too large or that particular round didn’t get seated far enough a FCD will correct the mistake. It doesn’t make an unsafe round(say from a bad powder charge) safe to shoot, but it will help make sure all your rounds chamber. Since many people don’t like to seat and crimp on the same step, they use their FCD as their only crimp die.

>Powder Check Die:

A powder check die has a small free floating ram in the middle that drops into the case. It provides an easy way to spot check powder levels based on how high it raises. Some powder check dies will lock the press when they detect an over/under charge. In practice the low powder volume and wide case can make powder check dies unreliable for pistol loads. If you do use a powder check die you shouldn’t let it lull you into a sense of false security, you should still be visually checking your charges.

>Powder Throwers:

This isn’t a “die” so much, but many do fit directly onto your press. They dispense or ‘throw’ a specific charge of powder every time they are activated. Do to the nature of how they work how accurate they are depends on the type of powder you are using. Flake powders and long extruded powders measure with much more variation than ball or short stick powders. Throwers come in three flavors; Case activated, manual, and press activated. Press activated throwers dispense powder anytime the press ram is moved up. This is fine for a single stage press, but on a progressive press it is just a big mess waiting to happen. A manual powder thrower has a small handle you actuate anytime you want to dispense powder. These are great, as long as you don’t forget to pull the lever for every case. Case activated throwers only dispense powder when a case goes into them. These are great, especially on progressive presses.

>Bullet Feeding Die:

Bullet feeding dies place a bullet into the belled/charged case. With a bullet feed die you don’t need to manually place a bullet for each round. While the dies themselves are 20-40 dollars they won’t always save you time without an automatic bullet feeder hopper which can cost several hundred dollars. Only useful on progressive presses.

>Case Feed:

Again this isn’t technically a die, but it attaches to your progressive press and places a new case into your shell plate automatically. These are specific to your press and usually cost several hundred dollars.

Many powder throwers can be given a PTX add on that will expand as well as charge the case. On a progressive or turret press this saves you a spot on your press and on a single stage it saves you from having to do a separate belling step.

Shell Plates

Most die sets come with a shell holder of a matching caliber to keep the brass in the press. However if you are buying your dies piecemeal you’ll need to get a shell holder set. Progressive presses use “shell plates” which hold multiple rounds at a time. These can be proprietary and will need to be purchased separate from your dies.

Lee shell holder set $27.99

Hornady LnL AP shell plate 9mm $24.64

Case Trimmer

When a round is fired the case is under such extreme pressure that the brass actually acts like a plastic. It expands outwards in all directions until the chamber stops it. In front of the round however there is nothing to stop the brass from flowing. Because of this the brass grows in length. After a few firings the brass may be too long to fit in the chamber of a gun again. To combat this after sizing your brass(which further alters its dimensions) you measure it. If it is too long you need to cut some of that excess off with a case trimmer until it is the proper size again. This is primarily only a concern for rifle brass.

Case trimmers can be free hand, manual, and motorized. Free hand allows you to remove brass, but requires you to check with a case gauge often to ovoid over trimming. Manual trimmers allow you to set a certain length to cut to and do all rounds to that length rotating a small lever by hand. Motorized trimmers allow you to set a length and very quickly trim a large amount of cases. Some manual trimmers can have drills attached to make them faster. Not all motorized trimmers can handle multiple calibers.

Lee Zip Trim $21.99 and Lee Cutting Ball $9.99

Lyman Universal Trimmer $82.99

World’s Finest Trimmer .223 $75.95

Chamfer/Deburr tools

Chamfering removes a bit of metal from the inside lip of the case so that bullets seat more smoothly. Deburring is removing a small amount from the outside edge of the case mouth to help remove any burrs or flakes caused by chamfering. You don’t need to do either on pistol rounds as the case is belled wide enough to accept the bullet without it.

You can also chamfer primer pockets. This will make seating easier and in the case of crimped primer pockets it is required.

Again, there are manual and motorized options available. Motorized is worth it for anything above small batches.

Lee Chamfer Tool $3.99

Lyman Case Prep Multi Tool $22.99

Hornady Case Prep Trio $99.99

Bullet Puller

In the process of setting up your dies you’re going to make some dummy rounds. No primer, no powder, just case a bullet to dial in your case bell, seating depth, and crimp. You can just throw these rounds away. . . or you can get a bullet puller and recover your components. There are kinetic bullet pullers that work well with heavier bullets(125gr+ in my experience) and collet bullets that attach to your press.

Frankfort Arsenal Kinetic Bullet Puller $17.76

Hornady Cam-lock Bullet Puller $31.56

To be honest, I don't know what the excitement is over the Japanese (and German, apparently) solutions. They tend to be more expensive and break more easily without actually being more convenient. I prefer the hook style holders, they are just as convenient, and significantly more reliable.

u/Pafkay · 3 pointsr/DIY

I bought this fan for our bathroom and now the mirror doesn't even fog. But for something like this you would need an external humidistat, but to be honest it moves that much air it doesn't seem to need one (in our house).

We suffered from a lot of black (and pink??) mold before this and now we have nothing, our bathroom is 18m3 so it's not huge (typical UK bathroom), but that fan has worked wonders. The builder who installed it was condescending to say the least, 3 weeks later he called me up and asked me to buy him one :)

I run one of those extract fans (I got a Sealey branded one, in reality they all come from the same factory in China, just a different sticker). Mine's the 12" version and it's incredible in-efficient, chews up 300-400w to flow 800m3. I have some 6" fans that do 450m3 and only use 55w.

If you care for efficiency then look at inline fans, you could get ten 6" inline fans and still only use 550w while sucking 4,500m3 worth of hot air away from your machines. I live in the UK and will show you what I use, you likely won't be able to get the same brands but certainly similiar.

Sure there you go: Link

And another wider photo of it in my bathroom.

I've been waiting for this shelf to arrive before posting this Shelfie :) Had a bad one that needed replacing and installed this shelf last week. Really happy with it, it also has 2 tiers as you can see.

If drilling is not an option, you can also glue it, I glued mine to china tiles and its solid as a rock. Used extra strong industrial glue.

Found these on Amazon for about $15 and the use of a screwdriver this could be a good solution.

in terms of getting it up off the counter and saving a bit of space.

Was just about to say the same. They even make shiny ones.

Good luck!

u/redbit2020 · 3 pointsr/specializedtools

nice, but don't they use bidets equipped with warm air dryers nowadays?

edit: here is a similar toilet paper holder: https://www.amazon.com/EZ-CECOMINOD021717-EZ-Load-Toilet-Holder/dp/B001ONT90Y

or a bidet with warm air dryer: https://www.amazon.com/BATHWA-Temperature-Controlled-Posterior-Installation/dp/B079GT6CV2/

u/Randori68 · 1 pointr/mildlyinfuriating

Honestly, I would do the same. The holders where you have to tear off the cardboard tube are just a pia. I much prefer the holders that you just easily and quickly slip the roll onto such as this one.

u/NessInOnett · 13 pointsr/oddlysatisfying

I'd rather get something more like this one https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Stainless-RUSTPROOF-Brushed-A7070-2/dp/B00LRH18BU/

Just as easy to replace, and doesn't look like it belongs in a hospital bathroom

For lazy non-Japanese:
Here, or here.

And, if you like Ebay better than Amazon, try here.

u/bearsinthesea · 1 pointr/mildlyinfuriating

Do they still have it? i don't like the look of grundtal. Perhaps a HJÄLMAREN

EDIT: Amazon for the win, no spring + phone storage!

u/bookchaser · 1 pointr/DidntKnowIWantedThat

I own one of that design. It would be much better without the top flat, which gets in the way and fails to make the holder any more aesthetically pleasing. It's not as if it hides the fact you have toilet paper there, and the flap serves no functional purpose.

It's otherwise nice, a cinch to replace a roll. $14 on Amazon.

u/ofekp · 43 pointsr/mechanical_gifs

Anywhere we can get this? Hand-Be is the company? Di they have a better looking products with this mechanism?

Update: Found it in 3 seconds https://www.amazon.com/EZ-CECOMINOD021717-EZ-Load-Toilet-Holder/dp/B001ONT90Y

Husband just installed for me! Everything was sitting on the counter before or hidden away if it wasn't part of my active routine. Feels so nice to have it all on display!

I'll go ahead and share my comment from the r/oddlysatisfying post this is from:

Seriolusly. I feel like this should be a LPT seeing as how many people have issues with others in their household not refilling the TP holder.

GET ONE OF THESE: http://www.amazon.com/Moen-DN8408CH-Inspirations-Holder-Chrome/dp/B000SQS6L6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372254200&sr=8-1&keywords=toilet+paper+holder

With one of these style holders, its just as easy to put the roll on it as it is to set it down. And they can't set it down on the holder either. If they still refuse to replace the roll onto it, there is a bigger issue than just laziness.

u/F4nboy · 2 pointsr/raisingkids

Do you keep the new rolls in the same room? Maybe stack them up within arm's reach?

Or get one if those quick swap ones like: EZ-Load Toilet Paper Holder by EZ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001ONT90Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_CaHmybXN0HAD6

Make it so easy she'll take the path of least resistance. Say you've compromised and you expect her to as well. The threats and arguments are currently the path of least resistance.

u/konahaku · 2 pointsr/succulents

Sure, it's this one.

u/SchrodingerSemicolon · 3 pointsr/aww

It's not the same but I've had this one on my Amazon wishlist forever now. You just made me realize how old I am for having a toilet paper holder on a wishlist.

u/Spheyr · 3 pointsr/reloading

I started with my powder that low and it drove me nuts. The RCBS stand can be had on Amazon as low as $12 on occasion, and it's totally worth it, like a world of difference. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TEZH6A

u/PainMatrix · 126 pointsr/gifs

Can also get it here on Amazon

u/choochy · 1 pointr/mildlyinfuriating

u/berrypeachie · 1 pointr/IndoorGarden

I purchased this setup for my windowsill. Overall I like it, if you have spider plants or pothos it maybe a bit difficult to place on the lower shelves.

u/_just_a_dude_ · 2 pointsr/cats

Though our problem wasn't nearly that bad, the girlfriend and I have completely abandoned the wall-mounted holder and went to something like one of these.

u/MD_Brah · 2 pointsr/reloading

If I was forced to pull 500 rounds, I think I'd drop the 25 bucks for a Hornady cam-lock puller
