These are a flimsier plastic than some of the other organizers here. But they do serve their purpose. They have little handles which makes it easy to remove them from the lower shelves of my vanity. They are 12" long which makes them too long to fit the short way on my cart.
Overall would mostly likely repurchase

This is a nice heavy duty plastic. It is fairly tall which I like for my foundation bottles, primer bottles, and taller makeup items. It helps them not to tip or rattle around.
Would repurchase.

These are a heavy duty plastic. Some of my compacts are too wide or too tall to fit. For example my Hourglass powders have to go in corner first. And my Bare Minerals powders don't fit at all.
Would repurchase.

This is a basic palette organizer. Not super sturdy but it serves its purpose. My thickest palette is a PM mothership, thinnest would be a Viseart.
Both sit nicely.
Would repurchase.

This is a sturdy brush/pencil holder. I have face brushes, then pencils, then eye brushes. It doesn't seem like it would tip easily, however, it feels crowded. Like the pencils and brushes lean into the other compartments. I would look around for separate cups next time.

The lipstick holders I previously had. There are so many on the market and they seem to be all the same for the most part. I would probably consider getting a gloss one too which helps the taller tubes not to tip.

My favorite thing tho....the clear Mac bullet top. 10/10 for sure!

The acrylic organizers I found on amazon are here and here.

I detail where I found other organizational items in the captions but most of my storage came from Wal-Mart, Dollar General, At Home, or Amazon. I don't think any organizer I have was over $22. In case you can't see the captions I'll list my descriptions.

(1)Is just an overview of my collection, my desk is pretty old and heavy but I want to make it look less ugly.

(2)This container Is from Wal-Mart. I found a similar on on their website but I only paid $10 for this one.

(3)With a pack of organizers I found at Dollar General I separated some lip products by miscellaneous sizes and brands, lip liners and other tall lip products, and then one section that's all WNW Catsuits and bullet lipsticks.

(4)This one has been decluttered recently, I got rid of my WNW shadows since I don't use them so this one looks more bare than others. I keep my Colourpop SS shadows in the smaller containers as well as my ABH Dipbrow Pomade and MAC's Painterly Paint pot. The rest is random mini mascaras, single shadows, a Colorpop SS that's drying out, and a super old Avon quad from 2007 and single shadow of my moms from the early 2000's or late 90s.

(5)Here I separated blushes with the square organizer the set came with becasue I have more blushes than anything and there was a perfect amount of space to store my highlighters in the front, and then my pressed powders and bronzers to the side.

(6)I couldn't find this exact organizer but I got it from At Home. It just perfectly fits some everyday products and lipsticks.

(7) I've been looking for something like this for YEARS. I found this on Amazon and I'll link it in the comment section. Previously I had stored all my palettes in the top drawer of the drawers and had lip products all over my desk. It holds all my palettes, eye brushes, and then a smaller spot for sponges and my eyelash curler. I keep my sponge in this lil jack-o-lantern I got as a gift.

(8)Lastly I have this organizer I also found on Amazon. It's just a five compartment acrylic thing that holds face products, liquid lipsticks, and brushes. I keep my dirty brushes in a Kentucky Derby cup form my birth year.

Ok, so for my whole life I wanted a cordless Dyson vacuum. They’re about $500 but amazing because you literally just charge it and it’s good to go for a couple of days of serious vacuuming. But once I got my Dyson, I realized that it can’t pick up a lot of dirt because it has such a small compartment. Also, it gets stuck on long carpet and doesn’t do well if you have pets.

But, around the same time I got my Dyson, my Mom got the Shark cordless vacuum which runs at about $80. She has rheumatoid arthritis, so vacuuming really hurts her hands. This vacuum was perfect for her and I wish I had gone with it instead of my Dyson. The rollers and dirt compartment are so much better than the Dyson, and it rolls easily on all types of carpet. My mother has three cats and never has to unblock the roller. So this is my definite recommendation.

Things you need on your wishlist: for good baths, for a healthy and satisfyingly sweet snack, and for the best game known to man. Trust me, that last game is one of the most creative games I have ever played.

I summon /u/denygfx because they are a dirty bird who needs to be punished!

The household chore I hate the most is doing laundry because it’s really like three chores in one (sorting, timing, and folding).

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone pass off the shower gels as hand soaps. You could probably put some in something like this:

16-Ounce Clear Glass Boston Round Bottles w/Stainless Steel Pumps (2 Pack), Great for Essential Oils, Lotions, Liquid Soaps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B6Q34LS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NNlZDbCNQT6ZC

Helping hands hand cream would be a nice addition too:)

So someone on my original post in r/makeupaddiction thought that I should make the same post here, so I've pasted it below!

Since these things are all over Amazon, I figured I'd review the one I got.

It was packaged really well; in sealed shrinkwrap, baby bubble wrap, big bubble wrap, and then in a nice form-fitting box. So even though the dimensions are listed, and I have a tape measure, I have to say it seems so small in person! But my entire makeup collection fit (except for some of the palettes that were too tall to fit in the palette holder, which is fine since I ran out of slots anyway).

The boxes are not connected, so you can organize them however you want, including the top part (with the foundations in it). Also, each cubby can accommodate either one big drawer or three small drawers, so you can mix and match those too. Each box has two cubbies, for either two large drawer, six small drawers, or half and half, and the boxes have little rubber feeties on the bottom so that they don't scuff each other, or the shelf you store them on. They also came with pre-cut black mesh liners, which I thought was nice (I can take a picture of one if you'd like to see).

If anyone is thinking about buying one of these and would like to see specific pictures of any part, let me know! There are a ton of sellers, but I tried to pick one with a bunch of reviews (that fakespot didn't flag as suspicious). Overall I'm really pleased with it! I was concerned with the size at first, but it's compact and efficient; I actually didn't end up using one of the small drawers, and several of them are sparsely packed.

  • Does she already have Netflix? If so, get her a six-month or one-year subscription. If not, and the setup is feasible for her, get her Netflix!
  • On the same vein: Could she use an upgrade to her system? Maybe a blu-ray player with built-in video apps! I got mine at Costco for about $80.
  • Maybe something fun or silly, like these book socks or (if she's a drinker) this book on literary cocktails.
  • There's also this reader's bathtub caddy that, personally, I would love. It's beautiful, it holds your cup of tea or glass of wine, and keeps you from getting your book wet. Win.
u/chizzle91 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

As cheesy as it sounds, I get my daughter to this little tiger growl type thing. She watches Peppa Pig and tried to imitate George doing his dinosaur growl, but before I caught on to the fact that she was imitating George, I just started calling her my little tiger. Either way, it makes me smile every time :)

These are awesome and would make me feel like a fancy-pants!

u/WhiskeyRider69 · 2 pointsr/PixelBook

Huh. I've never looked for one, but you're right. I'm not coming up with anything, even on Amazon. That's saying a lot considering that I can buy a cat butt tissue holder on there.

Just to think outside the box, what about a USB-C to USB-A male adapter to convert the headphones to a USB-A connection, then use some sort of multi-port hub to connect everything.

I'm also pretty sure you can convert the USB-C monitor to plug into an HDMI port.

Yeah, it's a nightmare living the dongle life at the moment, but with USB-C becoming more common, hopefully, it won't be much longer.

If money isn't an object, id get a table or more likely shelf custom ordered, or make your own. Talk to a local woodworker tell em what you want.

Little divots for 30ml, 60ml, 120ml+. Layered shelving so you can see the labels of the flavorings.

Plus a couple drawers for empty bottle storage, steeping, etc.

I mean, that'd be the dream. Custom build DIY ejuice table.

But more frugally, this is what I use

/r/DIYBeauty probably has more recipes and the mod ISwearImAGirl made a post a while back about her cleansing oil here! Hers is much more luxurious than mine!! My main motivation in making this was saving money.

I actually just emailed my friend this recipe so I'm just gonna copy/paste the email i send her. :)

Ingredients & tools:

  • 1 pump bottle! You need a glass or plastic pump bottle that is water tight. You can find these at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, IKEA, and probably walmart (i haven't looked there but they have lots of lotion/soap pump bottles i bet). If you aren't sure on the size, go for the larger one. You can also buy one online like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Cobalt-Glass-Lotion-Dispenser-Black/dp/B007Y5SW86/

  • 1 jug of mineral oil or baby oil. You can get this anywhere! CVS, publix, walmart, etc. Baby Oil is just mineral oil with an added smell, and it's usually less price for more, so i prefer baby oil. You can find mineral oil next to cutting boards sometimes. You can actually use almost any food-grade oil you want, but mineral oil is cheap, and unlikely to cause breakouts in most people. If you buy baby oil, get the PLAIN baby oil, not the ones with aloe or shea butter, etc.

  • Cromollient SCE. You can buy it here: http://www.lotioncrafter.com/cromollient-sce.html
the smallest size will make you about 4-5 batches of cleansing oil. That's the size I bought but I'm almost out so i kind of wish i bought the next size up! Up to you!

  • Polysorbate 80. You can buy it here: http://www.lotioncrafter.com/polysorbate-80.html
You need less of this ingredient, so buying the smallest size should be plenty for quite a few batches! Some people exclude this and jut have the comollient, but i prefer adding this too, to make it rinse off really cleanly (but not stripping). You can exclude if you want! It's really cheap so I go ahead and add it. :)

  • measuring spoons and a funnel (funnel is optional but makes things easier!)!

    Mixing Instructions!:

  1. Clean and DRY your pump bottle COMPLETELY. There must be NO water in this mix because bacteria can start to grow. Some recipes include a preservative to get around this. Make sure all tools are clean and dry

  2. Pour into the pump bottle the following ratio to make one batch of cleansing oil:

  • 9 tablespoons of baby oil/mineral oil/whatever oil/a mix of oils

  • 1 tablespoon of cromollient

  • 1/2 tablespoon of polysorbate 80

  1. If you have a bigerg bottle you can just double/triple the recipe if you want.

  2. Close the bottle tight!! You're done!!

  3. IMPORTANT! Before each use, shake really hard! The cromollient and polysorbate sink to the bottom of the bottle after a while, and they're a bit thick so you have to shake hard to re-mix everything. if you don't shake it up you will get a big glob of them and they feel sticky and gross, and won't really cleanse your skin haha.
u/GetOffMyLawn_ · 2 pointsr/Fibromyalgia

I bought special foaming soap dispenser bottles on Amazon. I fill it halfway with water and halfway with Dawn gentle on hands formula. I tend to wash my hands a lot so I use the kitchen sink and my soap mix. Anything that's sitting in the sink gets a dose of water and soap. this stuff is so much gentler on your hands than the regular Dawn too.

Note that with the foaming bottles you can't put undiluted liquid soap in them, it's too thick so you have to dilute it. As a bonus you wind up using less soap.

Unfortunately Dawn changed their formula to include rose scent, and I am allergic to roses. Fortunately the Walmart version has no rose scent and works just as well.

I also use the foaming bottles in the bathroom. If you like Dr Bronner's soap you know you're supposed to dilute it. So I mix it with water in the bottles and use it in the shower and as hand soap.

God my first day of work I was so scared! I was excited because I was working in a pottery shop and I knew I would end up enjoying it, but at the same time I was scared I would break something. I worked with a girl in my English class in HS and she helped me a lot. My boss was very patient with me as I forgot to turn off the A/C again and again. But eventually I got the hang of it! Feel free to surprise me, but I would also like this =)

u/dearabby · 5 pointsr/AirBnB

These thieving guests are really rare, so I wouldn't worry about it for your first guests.

What I've found is guests are even more likely to take the small items with them. It ends up being a lot of waste, too, because you'll have tons of partially used bottles.

The best solution I've found is to put things into dispensers. Someone might take a full shampoo bottle, but they aren't going to pull a dispenser off the wall. They wouldn't feel bad snagging salt & pepper in the cardboard store containers, but they won't take them if they're in shakers (mine have survived 5 years of hosting). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FGCW0K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Leave out a reasonable amount of TP and a roll of paper towels and lock up the rest. It'll be fine.

I use a heated lotion dispenser. It's great. Only complaint is some lube can drop when it's left on for a long time. Easiest solution is to just turn it on when ready to go to pound town.

I got these three -
[Acrylic with drawers] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KKXA58/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), Acrylic lipstick storage (you can get this one a few bucks cheaper from another seller if you don't mind waiting for shipping), and this acrylic organizer

Here's a (maybe not too great) picture of them on my shelf! photo

If you have Amazon Prime you can get free 2 day shipping. I purchased all three for a total of $47.58 so a huge saving over buying just one original beauty box.

They're all sturdy thick (but not TOO thick) plastic. No fogginess or scratches on the surface or anything!

About a year ago I thought it would be cool to offer a luxury travel set to my guest for a more hotel/upscale feel. I include a set of lord and mayfair shampoo, lotion, conditioner and body and face soap. Its a plus to offer to your guest and makes your listing look more pro:

http://i.imgur.com/miRVSw0.png

I looked online for a hotel supplier, purchased 144 of each for $175. Therefore I'm spending $1.25 for each reservation/guest? I set out 2 sets when they are longer stays. Estimate I had 100 guest since then. In 2 weeks its going to be a year since I purchased these and I havent counted them but I probably have about half of them left or a little more left.

The simple fact is that 50% of guest dont even touch them because they have their own, they also don't take em home like souvenirs like hotel guest do me included. I guest they respect the fact that its your house, etc. Its a waste because I constantly throw away half empty bottles. and bars of soaps used once.

So definitively when I run out of these I think i'm going to go with the wall dispenser route of a high end product, something like:

http://www.amazon.com/Three-Chamber-Shower-Dispenser-White/dp/B000FGCW0K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425747136&sr=8-1&keywords=shower+dispenser

I bought this thing off Amazon ages ago and it's been great. The smaller tube is the perfect diameter for the cotton rounds I buy at Target, and I use the larger ones for q-tips.

u/hip_drive · 2 pointsr/LushCosmetics

Sorry, I have to put in my two cents. OP, I would only use the tin for the purpose of carrying the bar back and forth from your room. If you put it in the tin after you shower, it will start to get melty and goopy and really hard to use. It needs to dry out! You could prop it on its side in the tin, which would help to dry it out, or use a special soap dish like this soap saver which will allow it to dry completely every day! (Btw that Amazon price is absurd. You can find them for a buck at the drug/cosmetics store.)

You should get a tin! But I wouldn't keep it in there all the time.

This looks amazing! I’ve been looking into similar ideas into how to spice up my groups current folding table.

In regards to cup holders, I found these cup holders that I was thinking about getting. I haven’t ordered them yet, but they seem like they would do the trick.

If you find yourself with some spare time today, do you think that you could go a little more in depth with the creation process? Specifically, what you used to get the cover to snap onto the folding table?

Both on amazon. The brush one has a back storage area where I put like blush palettes or whatever doesn’t fit in the other organizers.

The palette one is adjustable, so you can remove dividers to put more in one area.

There's a much better product that was already invented for that- it's really cheap and keeps the rest of the product safely in the tube with the lid on.

I use this soap saver in my shower and it has made my shampoo bar last much longer than when I didn't have it! It dries fully and is ready for the next wash without leaving little to any of the product on the soap saver :)

Bf here, here are the items I picked up for this:

Standing polish rack:

Drawers:

Cotton ball/swab holder:

Most of the polish there was not new, but I also picked up the China Glaze poolside collection (saw a recommendation for it somewhere on this subreddit) for some really summer-y colors and she seems to be happy with it:

I got this on sale on Black Friday, and I told my boyfriend that he is giving it to me for Christmas. I am SO excited.

I fill about 1/5th of a soap dispenser with a foaming pump with Dr. Bronner's, and the rest with water. Gets me clean, lasts several months, and doesn't make my skin greasy like "shower gel" soaps.

I have two sets of Alex drawers (the tall ones) and one is basically eyeshadow all the way down. It’s kind of ridiculous and I don’t really like the drawers (I wish they opened all the way, I can never get to stuff in the back). If you aren’t planning to buy more palettes, maybe just display it on top? You could also get an acrylic palette organizer that looks like this maybe?

u/rngr · 4 pointsr/whatisthisthing

These soap savers work great for keeping soap from getting mushy.

u/GA_HoneyBee · 1 pointr/ApartmentHacks

They make shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers that glue to the wall or corner.

Here’s the one I have that works well for me:

Ontop of box Makeup Brush Holder from Amazon also a cotton ball/QTip holder from Amazon
Box to the right: Awesome acrylic box (that I have now filled up and need a new one of) from Amazon again!

Both Mirrors are from Bed Bath & Beyond... Left i'm not sure but right is the Simple Human Mirror which is INCREDIBLE.

Here is the cupholder if you're interested in making this same upgrade. Almost breaks the bank at $8.79 but it's worth it!

This is the one I use. The people on amazon really like it.

u/JimmyLegs50 · 30 pointsr/LifeProTips

This four-chamber soap/shampoo dispenser is awesome. You can immediately clear out all those plastic bottles that sit at the corner of the tub or on those stupid hanging shelves that never stay in place.

Those tins are only useful for traveling and I always cut down my bars for those occasions. For daily use I have this Aira Soap Saver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J6PEO2Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_P1aenIrUlrUiB on the counter right outside my shower. This soap dish https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A61Z20K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_743mDbP6KT7VJ is handy if you don’t have easily accessible counter space.

whatever you put it on, try putting it its side so only a small bit of it is touching anything else.

otherwise, I use soapsavers for my soap! I use ones like this where only the small nubs are touching the soap

We have this dispenser in our showers. Good product, not terribly pricey. Admittedly not as nice to look at, but I'd rather not pay a $50 premium for shower accessory aesthetics.

For less than the price of one stainless dispenser, I got three plastic models.

u/pertnear · 1 pointr/Catloaf

I got it as a gift but this must be where they found it: Here

Similar to this one, but much plainer. It's sort of just a board, with extendable chrome arms.

Well that's a bummer. If they just don't care, they just don't care. Even if you tell their employer and they get reprimanded, they still probably won't care, except now they hold a grudge. I'd say your best bet is to follow the advice in another comment about reporting to the post master for damage to your mail and send along several video clips. Or screenshots of packages mid-air after a toss if mailing your complaint. Hopefully with enough evidence of repeat behavior, even if it sucks while the person retaliates in between, you can get them removed from that route (or their job that they clearly hate). Maybe order some glass or porcelain items from Amazon. Cheap things you don't even want just to show them smashed on arrival. Like this, butt maybe cheaper.
