I follow my bedtime routine:

1. Nutrition is the most important part - it is very important we do not eat anything with sugar and have a very light dinner. I only drink water, as even tea can have caffeine in it.
   
2. Make sure my room isn't too hot, too stuffy, or too bright. Bedrooms that are quiet, dark and cool are optimal for a good night’s rest. I rest better in cooler places.
   
3. Stick to the same things every night - Excercise, a bath, pajamas, brushing teeth and a few pages from a book. I make sure to stick to it consistently so that my body knows what to expect.
   
4. During the day I do exercise as much as possible - biking, running, playing etc. At least one hour before bedtime.
   
5. I use a weighted blanket every night and it helps me relax and go the sleep faster.
   
   I got my favorite weighted blanket from a seller in Amazon for only around $65. Super worth it and the quality is amazing! I also bought one for my daughter and we can now sleep 8hrs straight and wake up feeling well rested and energized.
   
   I really hope this helps and that it works for you too!

the short answer is yes, but it's best to test it.

I have one for my daughter both with a soft minky cover, both them from amazon from here( quality seemed good from reviews and it really was).

After 6 months of using it, I can say that she never goes to bed without it and she absolutely loves it.

What to look out for:

- be careful how you wash it, machine wash only the cover, the Weighted blanket wash by hand

- if the children do not stand the blanket, do not force it on them ( some love it but some find it too heavy)

- the weighted blanket for children should be roughly around 10% of your kid's body weight

- the weighted blanket should cover the size of the person and not the size of the bed

I have bought one for me also and I find I sleep way better with it ( no autism here, just people enjoying great sleep)

The exact same seller I got mine from doesn't have it available, but this looks to be the same. Just be careful where you order from! My blanket and rug ended up coming from China because I always forget to check the seller on Amazon! Both arrived in perfect condition but I did get scammed on that Totoro pillow. Amazon refunded me so it turned out okay, at least!

Edit: Looking up "weighted blanket" gives you all kinds of different results singing their praises, so it sounds like they at least work for getting you to sleep. Couldn't tell you if it feels like being held, since I've never had one, nor have I ever been held.

Possibly this, and then you could add a slideshow of your favorite pics or gifs or adventure time websites. Why Chumby? It seems to be one of the few OSs that allow movable gifs. :D

Maybe that, plus a blanket and slippers combo.

Looks good. I saw a mermaid tail blanket on a YouTube video and had to get one for myself. I really like the silver scaling that is soft and shimmering.

We use the halo blankets with feet so he can walk around the crib. He has blankets that are just for comfort, but I was more concerned that he'd be cold because he'd kick the blanket off and not be great at putting it back on.
