OOH!! I have tea on my WL. it's mix in though.. does that count? I like it because it's quick and on the go, but still has the great flavor that I love.
To tea or not to tea!
I couldn't decide which flavor was best so surprise me!! this or this.

I have had this cat bow tie collar on my wishlist for the longest time, and it would look absolutely fantastic on my cat. She's white and fluffy. I ordered one of these once before for a friend's cat and was surprised at how high quality it was and have wanted one for my cats ever since. She honestly probably wouldn't care if she was wearing it - or at least she'd forget it was there after a minute or two. :) I don't know if that is prime-eligible, but I fear not. Just because of that, here is something else I want within that price range:
The green tea... root beer... sounds like it could be absolutely amazing or completely disgusting! I love that idea! It comes in a four pack so there would be enough to share. As far as drinks go as well, that price is actually really good for Amazon, I am surprised.
And if all else fails, there is always one of my favorite movies, of which I don't own. ;)
Just re the caffeine, it does make tremors worse so put a lot of effort into getting rid of it or at least reducing way down.
I had to do that myself a few years ago, and didn't think I could do it. I only had one big strong cup of coffee in the morning, or sometimes black tea (during day or in morning), but I was really seriously attached to that dose (as well as flavor, ability to clear my throat/lungs/etc).
For me the hardest part turned out to be just finding a decaf coffee (and black tea) I could still drink and enjoy, but eventually did after reading many reviews online then trying a bunch of different ones.
The ones that work for me are Peet's Mocca Java Decaf coffee, and Luzianne (black) tea.
I buy the tea at amazon in "family size" bags, cut open the bags to pour into a jar, then make it strong and brew it in a Finum "brewing basket" or a single cup mini basket with hinged lid for a Keurig coffee machine.
I buy the coffee locally at Safeway (I'm in California) or at a Peet's store, but should be online too.
Here they are if you're interested:
https://amazon.com/Peets-Coffee-Mocca-Java-Ground-12-Ounce/dp/B00857ZBSG (btw, it's not really "chocolatey" or only a tiny hint)
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B008EJRS54
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B000J3JFJU
https://amazon.com/MaxBrew-Reusable-Filter-Keurig-Single/dp/B016TZKU54 (mine is black though)
Oh, and I no longer drink soft drinks because I eat low carb (LCHF in my case) which also helps with other health/etc problems (and no longer really get "hungry," and never shaky from hunger--and carbs). They either have a lot of sugar I don't want, or have various alternative sweeteners I can't stand the taste of. But before I started low-carb, the Decaf regular Coke tasted the best to me, and there are a few like Ginger Ale, etc, that at least don't have caffeine.
I now also drink other hot and cold beverages though, especially when I'm sipping or just want a taste in my mouth, etc. Had to figure those out too.
It's a typo. Should have said Thai tea. I corrected it. It's a delicious tea that I first tried at a Thai restaurant and on the menu it said 'Thai Tea'. At the restaurant, they add milk, but it's pretty amazing without it as well. A lot of caffeine. It's pretty much replaced coffee for me because it has a much better flavor. It tastes very nutty and smoky while also being very heavy and filling (like coffee, maybe better). Here's the brand I buy: Thai Iced Tea Traditional Restaurant Style,16 oz (1LB.) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UPNK9S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SNl4AbV9YZ0HH
From here:
(1)Here's the very general info my nutritionist told me to AVOID:
Products made with added fat (e.g., biscuits, crackers, etc)
Anything breaded or fried
Anything that uses cheese, creme, butter or oil-based sauces.
Avocado
Regular ground beef (85% lean or fattier)
Hot dogs, bacon, sausage, high-fat lunch meats.
High-fat poultry like duck
Chicken skin
Nuts and seeds
Whole or 2% milk
Creme or half-and-half
Cheese (unless reduced fat)
Dairy or other products made from whole milk, or cheese
Added sodium
Alcohol of any kind
It is not very specific, but it is all they offered me. The key is fat content and preparation.
Most of the foods on the AVOID list are high-fat. I have been doing OK with coffee, tea and orange juice, so I don't think you need to worry about those. Banana are high in potassium, somthing they pump into you after an attack, so I think you're good there too. They didn't say anything about acidic drinks to me. Oatmeal is good. Candy is often high in sugar but low fat so it should be good in moderation (unless you have diabetes). The bugaboo with pretzels is salt and if they were browned using butter.
Also..
(2)Foods to eat: At the beginning, you need to eat only liquids if possible. Blend banana with Vanilla Almond Milk in the morning because banana can help coat the stomach. Cook 1/3 cup of rolled oats with 3/4 cup Vanilla Almond milk and eat it watery. Dried food seems to get stuck in stomach area. Cook asparagus, black beans, broccoli or green peas in chicken broth and blend into soup. Two tablespoons of cottage cheese help with protein. As well, black beans have protein. Make sure to eat soft liquidy foods and only in small amounts at a time. Chew everything to make it mush in the mouth. Health Tips on Tai Chi Health Products has a complete list and diet. I learned the hard way what NOT to eat.
And..
(3)Here are some things that help me:
Can't drink. Even a couple of drinks can put me down for a week.
A very hot shower or bath helps me a lot. I have a jacuzzy tub and often sleep in it. This has kept me from the ER several times.
Beef consumme, 0 fat.
Protein juice smoothies.
Plain pasta.
I have just discovered K2O protein water. It has 5g protein, 5g fiber, 6g carbs and 0g fat. I have had no more problems from this than plain water, and it helps with the hunger.
When I feel a little better, Ensure Plus (generic) is a good meal. It has 350 calories 13g protien and 11g fat. You can live off of these if you can stand the fat.
When I am starved to the point of being dizzy and shaky, I will put a little brown sugar in my mouth and hold it there until dissolved. This restores blood sugar without putting anything in my stomach.
(From me..Hope you feel better soon!)
There are a few awesome things that I really love about Amazon:
EDIT: typo.
you want an orange pekoe. i lived in ireland for a while and i can't remember who, if anyone, makes an orange pekoe there. bewley's gold label might work? you also might be able to find some lipton in an asian grocery...yellow label maybe? i had my family bring over some of this stuff when they visited me, but it's waaaay more expensive (like £1 per tea bag) on amazon.co.uk.
of course, you could always branch out and get some nice herbal teas, and use those. i've made some really nice pomegranite iced tea, mint iced tea, and iced green tea ain't bad either imho. it might not be what you're used to, but it's sure tasty. you could even try making iced irish breakfast for shits and giggles, but you might get a surprise visit from the ira for that one.
Super fancy juices aren't healthy either.
Water infused with fruit... lemon, lime, orange slices. Cucumber & mint is good. Ginger infused water. Basically take your sweet tea pitcher, fill it with water and add a couple slices of fruit or cucumber & mint.
Other option is tea made from hibiscus flowers, citrus rinds, herbs, spices, etc.
I really like this and don't sweeten it at all: https://www.amazon.com/China-Mist-Brew-at-Home-Passion-Package/dp/B00D8XAJ48?th=1
These are great and fresh would highly recommend. Brews in 5 minutes.
Twinings Cold Brewed Iced Tea Bag Sampler 40 Ct Includes: Mint, Mixed Berries, English Classic, and Peach - with By The Cup Sugar Packets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BNZB17X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_sBg6Cb6YT17FW
Finally got summoned for jury duty. Meh.
On other news, the Thai iced tea mix I bought from amazon is on point. The recipe I used calls for 1 cup of the mix with 4 cups of water so if anyone is interested to try it it’s probably best to buy the 2 pack
Do you have cost examples? Specifics would be appreciated.
I know I can get 48 gallon sized Lipton Tea bags for $11.96 from Amazon
I'm not looking for webpages, but types with cost by weight would be appreciated.
Thanks! So something like this?
It's not like an 'ethnic food' aisle kind of thing, but I would try like a whole foods or central market or whatever upscale grocery store you have in your neck of the words first. Look in the juices section, probably. My local place in town has it with stuff like coconut water and aloe vera juice.
Also, Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Lipton-Decaffeinated-Pitcher-Count-Boxes/dp/B000HBIHLG/ref=pd_bbs_10?ie=UTF8&s=grocery&qid=1218538387&sr=8-10 288 gallons worth. 41$ that's 14 cents a gallon (or .037 cents per liter). These prices are for the consumer mind you, not mass purchasing commercial interests who get better wholesale pricing. Googling for prices online for comparison, of say, pepsi cola, shows about 1.50 per 2 liter. this would require about 545 2L to equal up to 288 gallons. That's $817.50 and about $0.75 per liter. so the comparison of tea to cola? $0.04:$0.75 per liter. even if you count the cost of water / processing time to brew, it doesn't get even close to soda.
I Upvoted you for adding something substantial, but those financials are pre-revenue.
They announced an additional 45,000 cases being ordered for amazon, on top of the initial run of about 5,000.
Their product is Amazon's #1 new release and sells for $36 a case.
That suggests revenue of $180k, with potential revenue of $1.8 million.
That said, the market cap is $25m, and most of the Amazon reviews seem to be from investors...
ice tea and a ice tea maker . This is the best thing you could ever do for yourself. I lost some easy wight by cutting out soda and store bought teas and juices by switching over to iced tea. If you don't like drinking water like I do tea is a great alternative, no calories, no artificial crap, it's just naturally flavored water.
http://www.amazon.com/Runa-Amazon-Guayusa-Unsweetened-Bottled/dp/B00ER0N4ES/ This one is my favorite! Its sweet and fruity tasting without being sugary. Hope that makes sense!
The closest thing I've been able to find is this stuff, which is suuuper close, but I dunno.... It's not my 7-11 brand, haha. Luckily I know a place where you can get it locally, but it's seriously two hours away. =\ I buy them out every time I visit!
http://www.amazon.com/Lipton-Iced-48-Count-Gallon-SizeTea/dp/B00286KM2A
do subscribe and save and as soon as they ship the first one, cancel it.
$12 for 48 gallons of iced tea. That's 25 cents a gallon. I've gotten it for cheaper but that's still really good.
[edit]
before i closed the tab I saw this:
Save 15% when you enter code LPTONTEA at checkout.
The best part aboutna jizz bottle is it can be almost any bottle, so long as it's large enough to collect all of your jizz!
but here's a link anyway!
Why not just buy a thai tea mix? I got mine in Manhattan's Chinatown but you can find various others online. I just steep it for a couple of minutes like normal tea then fill up the pitcher with water to the top.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRRY2S2?th=1
brisk mate will be in stock (at least cherry/dragon fruit) may 14th. pack of 12 for $21.71 via amazon prime. im not sure if thats a better price than the third party listing or not, but this is from the official brisk listing
This is the coffee maker I use, and this is the basket I use. To make this brew, the gallon size is important here.
For every 4 cups of water, I add 1 tea bag to the basket, so 8 cups would be 2 tea bags (again, gallon size). This will brew a concentrate, which you will top off with regular water to equal to a total of 1 gallon (or 2 gallons if you did 8 cups).
If you find the tea is weak, your coffee maker is either brewing too quickly, or the water to concentrate is off. Increase the concentrate and reduce the amount of added water to make it stronger.
Ranch 99 usually has it, if there is one near you. You can also buy it online. This is the type that I buy, and it's just like getting it at a restaurant.
You have to brew a lot of tea - it's something like two tablespoons to one cup of water. I use a bit of half and half, and a lot of sugar (best to add the sugar as you're making the tea so it dissolves.
You should buy just thai tea, as in... just the tea. Like you were buying jasmine tea or something. Here's a link to the bag I bought:
http://www.amazon.com/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B000UPNK9S/
What kind of tea are we talking about?
What iced tea are you buying from stores I guess is what I'm asking, if it's the random cheap stuff that doesn't really say where it's from, skip the iced tea maker and just use something like these $.15/gal and it'll brew for you already cold.
Something like this maybe?
https://www.amazon.com/Lipton-Gallon-Sized-Black-Iced-Unsweetened/dp/B00286KM2A
That's peculiar. I never came across bottled unflavoured Lipton Iced Tea; it has always been either Peach or Lemon flavoured.
Your other options could be to try out the tea bag variety and see if you can make some of your own; this is the particular one I found by Lipton.
Then there is the powdered variety, which I would suggest you avoid like the plague.
This is my favorite brand. It is loose tea though, not bags.

These are the tea leaves. I actually havent thought about adding condensed milk. I used white sugar but I think I might try condensed milk next time

I put foot powder in mine and I just started storing tea bags in them overnight to absorb moisture and leave a light scent.
Edit: I use these giant tea bags
Only place i've ever found it. Careful it stains the crap out of everything. I suggest buying the bag in the suggested products if you want to make a pot of this tea instead of just a glass.
https://www.amazon.ca/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B000UPNK9S/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1539814282&sr=8-4&keywords=thai+tea
I am a huge fan of sweet tea. There is literally NOTHING like it here. Pureleaf and goldpeak are fine and all, but they insist on only selling the fruit flavored kinds in Canada. Why can't we have tea flavoured tea?!
Even finding regular black tea (that isn't a 'breakfast blend' or whatever is incredibly difficult. The only pure black tea bags I was able to find was at vincenzos.
I broke down and imported these and just make it myself now.
