If you look at the ingredients, colloidal oatmeal is prominent which I'm guessing is the ingredient responsible for reducing the redness. Maybe experiment with some CO packets (Aveeno Soothing Baby Bath Treatment, Single Use Packets, inexpensive experiment) or even Oat oil (avena sativa, not colloidal but oat still) to see if that's the ingredient helping you. There are also a lot of DIY CO masks you can make pretty easily too (CO + honey + etc.). Here are some other products that use CO as well. FAB def incorporates it into a lot of their products.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum: Aqua (Water, Eau), Glycerin, Soluble Collagen, Methyl Gluceth-20, Colloidal Oatmeal, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Chrysanthemum Parthenium (Feverfew) Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract ...

Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Nighttime Balm: Active Ingredient: Colloidal oatmeal 1\% (skin protectant) // Inactive: Glycerin, water, cetearyl alcohol, isocetyl alcohol, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, avena sativa (oat) kernel oil, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, ceramide NP,..

I use whatever I have around the house. I really like orange, mint, or pine scented bath stuffs. These are some ones I can remember using recently:

Everyone Natural Bubble Bath, Juniper & Cedarwood:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OBSQR68/

Kiss My Face Bath and Shower Gel Anti-stress Woodland Pine and Ginseng:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K0Y46RY/

Or
Dr. Bronners mint liquid soap

I suggest using just enough sulfur that it's tolerable the first couple times. This might mean just one Tablespoon at first. I took a bath every 2-3 days the first two weeks, and was able to add a bit more each time. The smell bugged me a bit at first, but doesn't as much now that I associate it with extra cleanliness and health. My significant other doesn't have TV, so I describe my new bath ritual as my 'home hot springs treatment'. I was inspired to do these baths after a hot springs trip we both took last spring, so he's cool with the 'hot springs smell'.

Edit - thought of a couple things to add:

  1. I usually queue up some Netflix on my laptop and soak for an hour or so.
  2. Foaming bath gel is more fun (bubbles!)
  3. Although my skin felt better after the first couple times, the marks take a week or two to fade (as with any TV treatment).

Do yourself a favor and stop using St. Ive's scrub. They used crushed walnut skins which are shard-like literally tear into your skin tissue instead of just sloughing off the top layer. Try a sugar scrub like this one that smells like fresh orange zest (don't try to taste it cause it's pretty gross... spoken from experience >.<) or a microdermabrasion scrub with fine sand-like crystals. If you want a really effective, cheap exfoliator and are blemish-prone, I really liked the aspirin mask. It really cleans out some of those sebaceous filaments.

It's possible that the abuse you're doing to your skin is creating additional redness. I know I had a lot of additional redness when I had acne because I thought exfoliating and scrubbing it everyday would make the pimples go away. :(

Who doesn't love a lavender bubble bath? So relaxing! If you have a snowflake print that would be awesome. Even better if royal blue. FLAX

I was the one who posted about the Elmo drum set, then my boyfriend pointed out that it had bad reviews ;) We're both drummers and wanted to add some percussion to her musical Christmas wish list. We were hoping to pick this up for her, if it's okay with you/her family. We didn't want to surprise you with the loudest Christmas ever so we were waiting for permission.

If it's okay, please either add it to the list (and this which is also adorable and I think she'd like) or PM the address to send it to.

Hmm yeah these look like a very interesting option. Found a similar one on amazon.ca

Hair conditioner is one of the easiest things that you would already have in your bathroom. What I personally do to shave is take a tub bath with a moisturizing foaming bath product and that provides good lubrication so that shaving cream is not needed.

Not sure on the glass jar as one of the kids took it home from their Nan's, the purple tassel is a shoe lace I found in a drawer, the chain was donated by my dad but is a common old plug chain and the liquid is.... You need hugs

You need CHOCOLATE! and some bubbles for a bath

The net is used with a cleanser. You apply a small amount of cleanser into the net and it becomes a foam cleanser, it is a great way to save product because a small amount can produce a lot of foam. You can get them on Amazon
I believe most products have a shelf life of around three years, but I am not positive. Many people use Cosrx Low Ph Cleanser morning and night!

No, see when I want to make fun of the marketability of something or the commercial nature of something I'll name some ridiculous item to go with it. "Bath soaps" are something I use just because it's a bit of a bizarre thing to attach a franchise to since very few things on TV could be considered especially relevant to "soap".

[](/ajsmile "Previous examples I've used include 'Doctor Who laptop bags', Star Wars lingerie and Master Chief Soda Straws. But Bath Soaps are a favorite because it's something that strikes a balance between realistic and ridiculously irrelevant.")

That's not to say that franchises with good marketing are bad, it's just that sometimes they tend to oh Goddammit I was wrong they exist
