What about a corset? She'd probably love how she feels in it, I totally love mine. Then you don't have to worry how she'll feel about her tummy because it holds all that in but will push her boobs up and you don't have to worry about a bra at all. You could get a nice black overbust one without lace and bows so it's appropriate to wear out to a club. Pair it with a pair of tight black leggings with some shine and some black heels. Another advantage to a corset is that you can help her get into it when she's getting ready and you can help her take it off when you get home.

Some tips for buying a corset, make sure to get her actual measurements and follow the size guide. There is a bit of play when lacing but you want to get one as close to the correct size as possible. you don't want the sides to overlap in the back but you also don't want it too open in the back either. If you choose a corset with a modesty panel in the back (just means a flap of fabric under the lacing instead of bare skin showing in the back) and it happens to be a bit too small for her to close all the way then you can just tuck that panel inside or cut it out and leave the bare skin showing under the lacing. Have a close look at the cups on the corset. If the model has small boobs and the cups don't seem to give her much coverage, then your girlfriend's larger boobs will probably spill out and she'll have a hard time keeping her nipples from popping out while she's dancing. Obviously you aren't looking for modest coverage but you want her to be comfortable all night without worrying about a nip slip.

Edit: I just wanted to add that she could also wear a short skirt and maybe some fishnets or something. I personally hate my bare legs so it didn't even occur to me. But if she likes her legs then a cute little skirt would be awesome too.

I'm making mine! I'm going to be Lagertha, SO is going to be Ragnar. My throw-together costume isn't going to be show-exact, but I'm pretty sure my group of friends will know exactly who I'm playing.

After shopping around online, actual Vikings costumes run a damn pretty penny - and I only have ugly ones. So, I'm improvising.

This corset and this bolero are my choices for replicating Legertha's tunic-type shirt/sleeves and her armor/vest. Bracers I'm still working on, but I might end up making them myself. I might find a tunic or large brown/tan t shirt and chop/adjust it accordingly to have the bottom coming out of the corset to mimic the tunic since I've not been able to find a good actual tunic top that I like.

These boots were too adorable to pass up, and then I have brown leggings as well.

My company that I work for receives supplies on pallets, so I'm getting one or two to break down and fix into a shield. Painted, of course. Throw a few brown belts on my waist, though the corset that I'm buying actually has sufficient buckling.

And then there is her sword and sheath, which I'm still pondering.

Finished up, of course, with youtube tutorials on Lagertha's hair style. I like that one just because it's easy for someone who doesn't do a lot with her hair very often. I think I can manage this one.

As far as for my SO and being Ragnar ... that's a whole different ballgame that I will be sorting out and figuring out on what to do starting this weekend!

I'm so glad you did a general write up about this, and included warnings about being overzealous. Athletic wraps (flexible, rubber like material with velcro) are used by many to keep certain areas warmed up, offer a bit of support and act as a reminder to keep your core engaged. They can be worn comfortably under clothes during the day as well.

I also have a corset similar to this latex shapewear piece. It's very comfortable, and has three different 'size' settings. I can wear it all day, and it gives me an extra boost of confidence. There's also an added 'reduction' that lasts longer and longer the more you wear the piece (at least, this has been my experience).

I notice my posture, and actively engage my muscles far more consistently throughout the day when I wear the corset I linked above. I am wary about doing any serious training however, because regardless of how 'safe' people claim it to be - you are still forcibly altering your body and physically changing your structure. This isn't an uncommon practice, and there are numerous variations of body alterations across the world (foot binding, elongating the neck, waist training, increasing the earlobe, expanding lips etc) and throughout history. It's just not something I am personally interested in pursuing.

In a way I compare it to ballet. Learning to control and move your body, focusing on flexibility and strength are all positive things. Jumping and spinning around on your toes however, is not. Light to medium waist training options can offer a myriad of benefits, intense waist training with the goal of permanently altering the rib cage/internal organs is just a bit too much in my book. That said, as long as people do their research, don't go to insane extremes, and are cognizant of their health - it's ultimately a personal decision with a bevy of pros and cons. Make informed decisions, and adjust your approach as needed.

Of course!!

So one of the biggest things I've found is that the placement of pads can be just as important as the shape themselves. Jaymes Mansfield talks about this and filling the "boy pocket" (the natural indent between the pelvis and the top of the thigh muscle) a bit in her tutorial. I also spent a lot of time just looking in a full length mirror to understand the shape of my own hips and the shape I wanted to create, I'd highly recommend this.

Now for the general outline, I watched Sugar Love's video where she makes a simple pattern on saran wrap that can be cut out and traced onto foam. Drawing the shape on the saran wrap while it's on your body also helps with getting an idea of where to start and end the pads. I also made mine while corseted so I knew where I needed the pads to begin in relation to my new waist.

Then in terms of cutting dimension into them I referred to onlinekyne's tutorial, specifically the part about creating an axis on the foam, with the intersection point being where you want the highest part of your hip to be (it's best to draw this axis on your pattern while you're still wrapped in the saran wrap, again so that you know where it'll sit and what it'll look like on your body). Then trim around until there's a nice taper from the edges to the intersection point.

And I can't pretend that scoring an electric knife from thrift store didn't make a world of difference... you can of course trim with regular scissors, and I used them for some of the finer details, but the electric knife was seriously a blessing from Cher.

And although it's not necessary, having a corset really did help me in figuring out around where I wanted the pads to sit, and of course in bringing even more contrast to the hip-waist ratio.

Finally, it's really important to get a good smoothing compression garment over the foam to help make it all look seamless. I put the pads under a pair of pantyhose, then a body shaper over that, and then another pair of pantyhose.

Sorry for the essay lol but I figured too much info would be better than too little. And lmk if anything is still unclear!

No problem! I'll suggest getting this one, a lot of my friends suggest this one to me(just haven't had the chance to get it hehehe)! If you really want your chest to pop out the corset will help a lot but getting a sticky bra and wearing it under a regular bra will do wonders! You'll need to practice contouring for makeup but also for applying eye linear if you never done it before but you can always ask a friend for help :) Also I forgot to mention but you'll need some fake eye lashes to help you look more passable and maybe curling your eye lashes :)

I'll estimate it'll probably take about 6 months to a year but like I said you can always ask one of your friends to help you :)

This is a good binder here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B075XSXR2K
It is also pretty affordable. You can ask for Amazon gift cards for holidays or can use cash to buy Amazon gift cards at places like Target/Walmart.
You would still need a safe place to ship to. Do you have supportive friends?
If your parents are not supportive, please start reaching out to local support organizations now. If they will let you work part time, it will be good to get a job so that you can get yourself in a position to be financially independent as soon as possible.

Hey, I have an Ace friend who prefers a more masculine look. They use a binder. I am pretty sure it's This one

They are pretty busty and though these take a little getting used to they pretty much flatten them out. Hope this helps.

Edit: I also remember that under armour and other sports companies have compression half tank tops when check are like a male bra.

u/baguettelass · 2 pointsr/NonBinary

I would definitely recommend a chest binder I use a vest with a built in chest binder, but I would recommend taking measurements of yourself and shopping around I'll look through my amazon for mine and edit in a link to it for you

Edit: not mine but is likely better given chest size disparity to me (36C/D) https://www.amazon.com/JARAZIN-Lesbian-Binder-Strapless-Elastic/dp/B07DYL6QQS/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?keywords=Womens+Les+Lesbian+Tomboy+Short+Slim+Fit+Chest+Binder+Vest+Tank+Top&qid=1564549827&s=gateway&sr=8-15, it does say it only goes to D but that might help you on the right track to one best suited plus the measurements matter more than cup

I absolutely love ren faires. My favourite thing about them is dressing up. The elf ears, corsets, veils, dresses, chainmail, leather armour, the neat little bags and weapons of all kinds. Everyone is so friendly and unique and I just really feel like I could get along with everyone there. And the role playing! I love seeing people act and speak as if they lived in medieval times. I went to one time too that had this awesome tea thing. Omg, the tea was so good! It was one of the funnest experiences of my life and I wish we had more here.

I think this is the most Ren Faire thing I could put on my list for myself.

. Under $5 , from my $10 & under list

. You have some cat related stuff on your list so I think this shirt would be pretty rad, on my clothes list

. Pictures never really make me laugh unless there's some funny caption so I'm breaking this rule and linking my favorite gif ever

I'm not sure if it would work but I wore a Lunaire brand bra with my strapless wedding gown. It could be used with an extension that wraps around to make it low. I found the bra itself really quote comfortable but dodnt wear the adjustment piece. Also I have a long bra that I got at David bridal that dips in the back. I think it's a 38ddd though really I wear like 34i now maybe slightly smaller then. It's not ideal but I have found that if I wear it pulled down closer to my hips it doesn't give me comic book boobs but does support fairly well at least for am occasion. I just wore to a wedding and was surprised how well it worked. Also o had tried ordering this long bra but it came to late...its nice though, can be strapless and seems like a lower back.

Steampunk is such a weird look in that it's really complicated! I feel like it's harder to 'tone down' than a lot of other styles.

And, Amazon. I picked up this one in black a while back. The whole look is amazing, but the best part is that the little top piece is removable, so I can wear just that over a tank top or a normal long sleeve shirt. It adds a little steampunk-y-ness to a normal outfit. I think this skirt might be a good piece too!

u/tiny_jules · 3 pointsr/ABraThatFits

YAY! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Dress looks great on you :)

I really like [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Spanx-Womens-Boostie-Yay-Corset-Shaper/dp/B00945BRIQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504615973&sr=8-1&keywords=boostie-yay+comfy+corset) corset from Spanx. It's important to get the right size (I sized up one size) or apparently it feels like a torture device. It provides some light control without suffocating you. I wore it to my wedding reception where I wore a form-fitting, short white dress.

For the bra...please forgive if this is a silly question but have you considered going without one? I'm not sure if the dress is supportive enough, but it looks like it might be. I wore a gown that looks to have similar structure but was strapless. I had my seamstress sew some cups in and volia, no bra needed! Granted, I'm a bit smaller chested than you (about a full cup size) but I thought it worked well and was one less thing to fuss with.

u/AnxiousMud8 · 1 pointr/FTMMen

I got this one from Amazon when I needed one quick: https://www.amazon.com/JARAZIN-Tomboy-Elastic-Colors-Binder/dp/B075XSKK4M?keywords=ftm%2Bbinder&qid=1535826679&sr=8-3&ref=mp_s_a_1_3&th=1&psc=1

It's $18 and works, but not nearly as nice as the gc2b binders. Also sizing was super weird but I followed their instructions and got a good size on the first try. Good luck!

u/BumpinBella · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

I'm not postpartum yet (a long way to go!) but I have been doing a lot of research too. I'm going to end up with this one: http://www.amazon.com/Postpartum-Support-Medical-Grade-Compression-Bellefit/dp/B004PKYLFG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1396726704&sr=8-6&keywords=postpartum+girdle

There are a lot of comments/reviews on it with helpful sizing information. For that one you use a combination of pre-pregnancy size and weight wain to figure out your size. I hope you get better advice, but if not maybe you will find something in the comments to help!

u/dazeymayhem · 3 pointsr/Drag

Sorry for the delay, had to dig around and see what I had. Try something like this in a 4X. That should bring you down to about a 34" waist. More if you're brave. I can get down to near 32" in mine. When you go to buy an actual quality corset, check out Orchard Corsets. They're on the pricey side, but so worth it.

Clothes can be tricky. I'm just shy of 6'5" so between that and my love of food and beer, off the rack is a challenge. I make about 95% of my own clothes. I'm not sure of your aesthetic, but there is stuff out there. Buying separates helps. If you give me an idea of your style, I'll see if I can't point you in the right direction.

Hope that helps at least a bit with the corset!

  • I'm so in love with this!

  • I'm just getting into the world of kinks/BDSM, so my answers are going to be boring - I don't have a favorite NSFW sub! Any suggestions? :)

  • No favorite sex toy - recommendations? Something good to start with?

  • Favorite sex position is definitely doggy style.

  • I like it when I'm restrained.

    edit: my wishlist!

Remember, You're the Parent

Children have lots of friends who tell them what they want to hear. They don't need you to be another friend. They need you to be an authority figure who lets them know where the boundaries of acceptable behavior are. Trying to be his or her friend will only undermine your authority as a parent and come back to bite you.

Thanks for the contest!

I just made a post about this a few weeks ago! I wear steel-boned corsets pretty often, and I started noticing that they make me feel 100x better. I prefer a “waspie” corset, they’re on the shorter side and compress your ribs less which makes it easier to breathe imo. And the look is more dramatic ;) I like Orchard Corset’s CS-201 a lot!

Super awesome!

Question, I'm wanting to start wearing corsets and was thinking of getting one for posture, etc. I am not at my goal weight yet. Would something like this be ok to start with?

u/buttsarefunny · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I want this!

I know it's not unique or non-naughty, but it's really cool and I want it because it's gorgeous. It is Prime, though, that's gonna earn me some points.
