I just installed the Atoto A6 Pro. It is an Android head unit that will easily connect to the bluetooth OBDII scanner and came with Torque Pro pre-installed. It doesn't have Android Auto or Apple Carplay built in, but there is an adapter that just plugs into a USB port on the head unit to provide this connection. Without the adapter, the head unit is essentially an Android tablet. Sometimes I use Android Auto, and sometimes I just use my phone as a hotspot to allow the head unit to connect to the internet on its own.

That adapter is currently unavailable on Amazon, but there are other adapters on there, like this one.

oh, I see. Nope, you're out of luck there. But if your CD player has a radio you can get one of these

that said facing a similar scenario i opted to buy https://www.amazon.com/ATOTO-AC-CPAA48-Smartphone-Receiver-Adapter/dp/B07G154X9R/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 which turns any android device into a carplay compatible 'screen' along with a cheap galaxy tab A and i just slung it over the nav screen with some hooks.

I can't vouche for this exact one. But the idea is solid, I use a Bosch one regularly, they sell at Wal-Mart.
