Really wanted to share this as I am really happy I did it!


I haven’t been a very good godparent for my little nephews, I attended the usual ceremonies like baptism and first holy communion but as they are both old enough to read now I wanted to start to become involved in their prayer lives.


I heard someone mention years ago how they used to collect prayer cards and I thought as kids love to collect cards as a way of ordering things I decided to try this out.


I found out their favourite colours and ordered leather credit card holders from Amazon, the ones with the 20-25 clear sleeves inside so you can read both sides of an inserted card.


Now each time I go to confession I will pick up a couple of prayer cards (much cheaper from local church giftshops) and post them down with a holy card from the giftshop. Its really cheap to send something so lightweight and also helps me maintain contact with the little buggers as I normally forget all about them. Hopefully they will retain not just the prayer cards themselves but also my little holycards too and the short contact messages I include every 3-4 weeks.


Eventually I may run out but there are enough cards there for a good few years and by then I will have felt like I have contributed a lot more to their spiritual development than the nothing I probably would have done otherwise.

Here is an awesome CF wallet, I just got this a few months ago. Absolutely love it, and it was cheap. Comes with a nice microfiber sleeve and box, which is kind of useless but good packaging is always nice. Only $11.

New job? Sounds like you might need this to store your snazzy new cards in! I would imagine as a manager you'll be dealing with some... difficult guests and giving out your card will help soothe their worries.

Something I want, right now, is this. Okay, that's a lie, I don't want it. But I need it, because it's time to apply for grad schools in the fall - yikes!!

It's worth every penny. I used to use those hard plastic ones these in order to save space, but I'd always have trouble pulling out my cards and was always afraid my money would fall off the clip, etc.
The nomatic is pretty awesome and fast to use. It was awkward when I first got it due to the strange design, but I absolutely love it now. I 'll probably buy a second one soon just to have a backup if I ever need it.

I have the Vaultskin Chelsea & it is my absolute favorite wallet. Nice & thin, small, & it holds 6 cards very easily. 2 in each pocket, you'll hardly notice it. Best of all, it's $22.

I'm a fan of this. It's a knockoff of the Ridge Wallet but it's pretty good quality and incredibly slim. Also scales well based on however many cards you need to put into it.

There just isn't(or haven't found) a wallet that will hold all 13 of my active cards without being bulky.

I have the Andar Pilot but it looks like they no longer sell this specific wallet which is a shame because I really like it. I'd recommend Andar in general though, I'm happy with the quality and they aim for a slim aesthetic in general. See if they have any designs you like.

I try to be as minimalistic as possible and I’m pretty bad at it haha

I've recently did a ton of research on minimalistic wallets, and I finally decided on the following:

It's able to hold 6 or 7 cards comfortably plus some folded bills, and it has a little elastic tab you pull on to pop-up the inner contents which is very well done. I'm extremely happy with it, especially for $25. Highly recommended!

Just picked up the Vaultskin Chelsea wallet last month and I've been loving it. Leather feels nice and premium. It's a minimal wallet (I only carry 5 cards + ID and $20-40) but I love the "pull tab" feature that lets you access your cards quickly.

I know you said you're not into leather, but I can't recommend the wallet I've been using for the last three years enough. I'm sure there's a fabric iteration out there. The leather feels a lot like that slick faux leather after years of daily conditioning, if that's tolerable for you.

I'm a woman, and my ex-boyfriend and I both have this wallet. I only have five cards in it right now, but my ex has somewhere around ten and some cash in his at all times. Neither of us have had any issues with longevity and each time I try to switch to a different style of wallet I always find myself drawn back to this one. Best of luck!

Distil Union Wally Micro - Premium Leather Minimalist Wallet

I suggest something from the Wally Line from Distil Union (or something similar).

The Wally Micro would probably be your best bet due to it's extremely small size. You can fit plenty of cards and it takes up VERY little space because all the cards are stacked together, unlike a traditional wallet where each card gets its own pocket. They're still very easy to access though since you can fan them out easilly once you've pulled the tab.

I have used the larger Wally Bifold for the past year and it's been a delight. It may be a good option to hold all of your cards in the same wallet. I'm actually thinking about switching to the Wally Micro now since I've cut my card carrying down to just my Driver's License and Debit Card on a daily basis.

I realize both suggestions are leather and that's not preferred, but I hope this helps you narrow your search!

I love this Tumi cardholder. It has four compartments:

• Two slots on the front (1 card each)
  
• A slim slot behind (good for ~3 cards)
  
• A larger slot in the back (fits ~10 cards)
  
  It also has a money clip.
  
  So it can carry about 15 cards, meaning you can churn a few, keep your ID and other cards (insurance, etc.) on hand, and still keep a small bit of cash if you need it.

If you want a slim one, this carbon fiber weave minimalist (with RFID blocking) is a good one. It does NOT have a traditional cash pocket, but if you use primarily cards, this is about the smallest you can go without going to money clip. That being said, it DOES have a pocket behind the card area that you can put bills, you just have to fold them 1 or 2 extra times.


Ad advertised, it is nice and slim, so I can carry my ID + important cards without getting a Costanza going on.

I have that "Condom case" and I can tell you right now if you use it for holding condoms you're doing it wrong. It's fantastic for little things, I keep my licence, and a couple cards in it and it is awesome! I really just got sick of my bulky wallet and wanted to mix it up haha.
