Welcome to the Nexus 6P gang! Just got mine a couple of days ago too and was looking at cases too.

I have this one that I could order and get very quickly on Amazon but it depends where you live:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0146MZSPY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480706781&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=nexus+6p+moko+case&dpPl=1&dpID=41zk455GngL&ref=plSrch

I quite like it. It gives you decent protection, it feels good in hand and it has a striking design on the back. It also doesn't make the phone much thicker. It depends on if you like the feel of the back design in hand, though, and how much protection/bulk you want.

I was thinking of buying this one too at some point for a bit of better protection:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JP6FPZA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480706781&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=nexus+6p+moko+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51Tl6fOWkjL&ref=plSrch

It does make the phone a fair amount thicker, apparently, but gives pretty good protection and the rubberised back is very grippy, as I understand it.

u/cbalde04 · 1 pointr/galaxynote10

I have a Galaxy Note10+, with the "Encased" Belt Clip Case, and I bought the Nite Ize HipClip. The fit should be similar to most "Shell Holster Combo" type cases of similar design. This clip fits perfectly on the top section of the kick stand. It allows my phone to suspend in my pocket (keeping pocket lint from damaging the ports and speaker), while still maintaining a slim profile, and allowing my camera/flashlight to be exposed if I need to inconspicuously record a crazy ex while picking up the kids, or see in the dark while having two free hands.

The only undesirable part about the clip is that it could be thinner. The bump out pushes the limit of some thinner dash mounts. Doesn't affect me, but it looks close.

Word to the wise. Make sure you let the adhesive set for at least an hour to get 75% bond strength. The 3M VHB adhesive is a strong bond, but only if you clean the surface properly and leave it alone to adhere. This is clearly explained in the instructions, but it can easily be overlooked because of the detail they go into without pictures.

Overall, very pleased with the purchase. I am glad to get rid of the pocket bulk for better functionality.

u/ctjameson · 3 pointsr/iphone

I know it's not super slim, but this is a really nice case I just picked up and it has excellent screen and side protection.

Case 1

Also got this one the exact same time and LOVE it for when I don't need as much protection and want to show off the pretty gold back.

Case 2

The thicker one is only a tiny bit thicker, but gives a better overall protection.

u/sugarwifey · 3 pointsr/diabetes_t1

Yes! Tandem is awesome. If your cost for G6 is low, switch over. It's awesome to have CGM data right on the pump. I have 3 suggestions for you.

  1. Take the clip it comes with out and stick this one on the case (not directly on the pump): Nite Ize HipClip - Attachable Pocket Clip For Smartphones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007CBSBM4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_muRLDbE56430R

  2. Get long tubing. I used the shorter tubing for years before realizing how much easier long tubing is! I have more flexibility when I sleep, go to the bathroom, etc.

  3. Be careful with the touchscreen. After almost a year with this pump, I accidentally pressed the buttons just right when putting it in/taking it out of my pocket and accidentally stopped my sensor. That was super frustrating and highly unusual.

You will love it! Good luck!

I too have the Spigen Rugged Armor case, combined with the separate Encased Belt Clip holster:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N02W6T7

It's a magical combination! The case is very protective, but perfectly thin. It's my favorite case of any phone that I've owned.

The Encased bolt clip holster is awesome too. I've been using belt clip holsters since my Moto Razor phones, and they all stunk until this one. The rotating assembly would always break, or the retention clip didn't work right. Encased doesn't have these problems.

I finally broke a part on my holster last month, when I rammed into a hard wall that caught the top of the clip that holds the phone in the holster. Luckily, they have a lifetime warranty and they sent me a new holster for free!

u/zadigger · 1 pointr/techsupport

In addition to a case, try to get a case that comes with a belt-clip holder. Yes; they're not much better than your pocket, but it does help a little depending on the make. Something similar to this since Otterbox makes some of the best cases. Ghost Armor is pretty awesome too, BUT basically only prevents surface issues, not sheer issues and such that'd still crush the phone.

u/FlightOfTheMasterb8r · 1 pointr/nexus6

I just got the Moko case in the mail yesterday. It's pretty solid. Doesn't look like it costs $7 at all, more like $20-$25. The kick stand is sturdy. Grip is pretty grippy. Very easy to feel the raised power/volume buttons as well, better than stock imo. The case has a sporty look to it, if you're into that kind of thing. I like it, it's pretty manly looking. Feels like it could withstand a drop or two.

u/outbound · 1 pointr/Nexus6P

For normal use - Spigen Thin Fit. Its a great case, adds minimal bulk to the phone so it still fits in my pocket, and the phone's buttons are recessed so that I can easily use a selfie stick or my Moga Pro Power controller. Its also protected my 6P from a couple of corner drops onto tile floor.

For backpacking - Moka Rugged. Great protection, its got a belt clip so I've got quick access to my 6P for taking pictures, and its got a built-in kickstand for watching videos/movies while relaxing at night.

u/droidtookstuff · 3 pointsr/GalaxyS7

Best to leave it alone haha.

The phone is so beautiful and a joy to hold, but after this, I bought a case to cover up the nick/chip/scruff. It became a tank but I love it more. With this frame + my case, it's pretty much unbend-able!

My case is a Supcase Pro if you are wondering.

u/to_love_is_to_err · 3 pointsr/lgv30

The Unicorn Beetle by Supcase always gets great reviews and is probably the closest alternative to an Otter Box, and also more aesthetically pleasing, IMO. My bf had it on his G4 when he had it, and it did a great job protecting it and wasn't too cumbersome; I would say definitely less than an otterbox.

u/ultra_sabreman · 3 pointsr/GalaxyS8

Anyone have any opinions on this case?

Edit: well, after looking at reviews it seems ok. I bought it, should get it on the 11th. I'll update this comment with a short review then.

Edit2: Very solid case. Comes with a belt clip, lanyard, and screen protector. Screen protector fits VERY well, especially when in the case. The case itself is made nicely and the plastic has a really good texture to it that is at once both easy to grip and feels really nice to hold. It's definitely a bulky case and adds quite a bit of noticeable thickness to the phone. The belt clip is MASSIVE and not something i would ever use, but I am considering breaking off the clip part and using the plate as a sort of hard-core screen protector for when I want to throw my phone down on a gravel road and run over it a few times with a car or something. There are 4 black "bolts" on the back of the case that seem to be there to keep the phone level when it's on it's back, but they're loose and kinda spin around which can get annoying.

My only real concern with this case is the kickstand. It's attached and clipped in really well but feels super fragile. I have a feeling this part will break first and quickly if I use it decently.

I'll probably post a full review on this sub in a month or two after I've used this case for a bit.

u/plankfurt · 1 pointr/nexus6

Anyone have any experience with these? I believe they make them for some other phones, but I cant find any reviews/videos. Thought it seemed interesting seeing that you can take the armband off and use it as a case.

I don't plan on using a case, but like to have one laying around. I figured it would be good enough to get the job done, and I can have an armband as well. Thoughts?

Im going to go with this if not.

This is a pretty good looking and safe case to have for the 6.

Also the tough armor case is pretty good too by spigen

u/Krojack76 · 1 pointr/ProjectFi

I use the 2nd link you posted at work. Works great.

I also have the Qi-infinity at home. Little more pricey but still works great.

Both those chargers will charge my phone using either of the following cases.

u/Abecnik · 2 pointsr/GalaxysEdge

I used a SupCase for my iPhone. The back isn’t completely flat but it didnt matter to me since I was kit bashing it. I did like the grooves around the edges to help go with it. Also, the belt clips helps keep your datapad easily accessible compared to in the pocket or bag where pieces can break off.

u/Dundell · 1 pointr/OculusQuest

I can only tell you what works for me

Anker battery pack:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HBTY3Z2/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_7QzxDbZKKAX23

Horizontal Flip-phone Clip case that perfectly fits the battery pack:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075H2MQHF/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_PPzxDbERYCD1J

Everything fits in the original Oculus case very well.

Also note that Snapdragon 835 chip that the Quest uses nativly supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. Does that mean the device itself is still designed to use that feature... Maybe lol

u/Stevenjamesx · 1 pointr/iphone

I've been using this iPhone 6 Case from SUPCASE. It's a has a Full-body Rugged Hybrid Protective Cover with Built-in Dual Layer Design + Impact Resistant Bumper. It come with a belt clip incase your into that, but for me it's slim, super protective, and has a great feel to it.

u/bulloni · 5 pointsr/knives

I use one of these on my phone hanging inside my pocket for about a year I think. It hasn't failed me yet and i love it. When I wanted to relocate it on the phone I used some ultra super special 3M double sided tape from Homey Depot. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007CBSBM4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1415913862&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40

u/SmellsLikeNostrils · 2 pointsr/EDC

copied from my earlier comment

Like this.

The two parts are held together with VHB tape. More than strong enough.

The clips is a Nite Ize universal smartphone clip which comes with a strip of VHB.

The rest is pretty obvious.

EDIT: I bought a clear VHB, for other uses. For this, I think a softer, foam core VHB might work better. The edges aren't flat, and don't rest flat against each other. It still works tho.

u/BlairTheWiseViking · 2 pointsr/iphone

SUPCASE has a Unicorn Beetle model for less than $20. It's a highly protective belt clip case just like the Defender.

I used to swear by OtterBox but this case is far slimmer and uses a hardened plastic and rubber instead of a rubber sleeve that for some phone models is rather loose (LG G6 & Galaxy S7 from experience)

It comes with a built in screen protector. It has port covers. I've had many drops and the phone remains unscratched and safe. Since the case is hard plastic and rubber it doesn't wear or peel like the OB rubber sleeve.

Now. Take note. I'm not saying OB isn't good but for the money. I feel UB is just as good, if not, identical in safety and longevity. I'm not sure if it has a lifetime warranty. The belt clip is sturdy as balls and has held up just as well as the case. What's nice is that the case is slim enough to carry around without the belt clip if you don't want a bulky feel.

u/uCat2bKittenMe · 2 pointsr/multitools

So far it holds up great! As long as you follow the instructions to ensure a strong bond, the clip should hold up with regular use. The clip itself was purchased on Amazon. It's called Nite Ize Hipclip.

I have a rugged case with integral screen protector which I use for work.

Minimal finger sensitivity impact, zero pen impact, and my phone is fully protected.

Best part is, at the end of the day I can pop it out and enjoy a naked 8.

I've used Encased cases (a relatively new brand) and not had any problems with wireless charging: Galaxy Note 8 Belt Clip Case, Encased Slim Fit Holster Shell Combo (w/ Rubberized Grip Finish) Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074TTHD8B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_G0vPzbC3S2KQY

I like holsters, so it's perfect for me. But it's a good slim case and pretty cheap even if you throw the holster away.

u/RustyKnives · 1 pointr/nexus6

I don't have a car one, but I use this charger:
http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-Spigen%C2%AE-Charging-Premium/dp/B00UGIA0WY/

and this case:
http://www.amazon.com/i-Blason-Cell-Phone-Nexus-Google/dp/B00OGXQ3LC/

The wireless charging works great. Some of the pads I used in the past you have to position just right for it to work. However with this one I am using now, I just set it on there and it works. The phone does get pretty hot, but it charges fine. Keep in mind that it is slower than charging via cable.

You do need to use a 2A charger brick with it though. It needs that extra power.

u/formerfatboys · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote9

OooooOOoooo I like that. I feel like with the Note 8 that would have ruled. With the idiotic position of the fingerprint sensor on the Note 9 I wonder if the loop will get in the way? I might but one and try.

This is what I've been using and mostly loving: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R458WE0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lhr7Bb9TC71DX

Have to slide it to the side for pictures with the flash, but otherwise its way better than a Pop Socket.

u/originalhdm · 1 pointr/Leatherman

I used to have a Crater c33T. I wasn't too impressed by the construction of it, but that was 10 years ago, and they may have improved.

If I was looking for a knife-based multitool, I'd either go with the Victorinox One-Hand Trekker or wait for the Leatherman FREE K series.

That is a pretty good case that I have used. I dropped my phone quiete a few times with that and nothing happened to my phone. The only thing is that it doesn't fully cover the front of the phone. Plus it's only about $20.

https://www.t-mobile.com/accessory/samsung-galaxy-note8-protective-standing-cover-black

This is the case that I am currently using. It's a bit pricy at $40 but so far I absolutely love it and especially the stand in the back of the case for when I watch my movies. The only problem I have with this case is that when I drive and want to plug in my wire to my phone to listen to music it doesn't fit because of the cover. Maybe my wire cord tip just is old and not big enough.

Those are the two I would recommend, haven't tried any other cases.

u/anonymouscoward92 · 2 pointsr/EDC

you know it. i put this on a wood scale swisschamp. my favorite and definitely the most beautiful item i've ever owned

u/AlexTheInnovator · 3 pointsr/EDC

This looks like it may fit the bill for general purpose.

While this is MOLLE, it looks like a fairly innocuous and relatively classy sturdy glasses case.

u/willdenham · 2 pointsr/nexus6

If it's anything like the MoKo case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4RV8DS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's got a really, really flimsy TPU case part. I doubt it would protect much, even though it adds on a ton of bulk.

At that price, I think you'd be better off looking at the Rearth or Spigen cases (I love my Thin Armor).

u/jrlionheart00 · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS7

this is the case I have and I love it so much, has a built in screen protector (plastic) that protects the phone from scratches, which you will get if you put your phone in your pocket or purse, it doesn't make the phone too bulky and adds a ton of grip too. I like to add that the built in protector doesn't mess with the touch sensitivity.

Wiha Tools makes the best micro screwdriver bits around, and some of their products are available on Amazon. If I were in your shoes I'd buy this

My personal solution is to keep a Leatherman Wave with a Leatherman pocket clip in my EDC backpack along with a Leatherman Bit Kit that I've modified with a Nite Ize pocket clip and some gorilla tape. Anytime I need to do some screw driving I just clip the wave and bits onto my pocket and they're incredibly accessible.

u/dumezil · 1 pointr/diabetes

here's what it looks like

I called Tandem today and asked the nice lady I spoke with if they would send me a new one but she said they don't sell the clips separately and that they wouldn't send me a one for free. She did say several times that she was documenting this and would send the report to the QA team. Lastly she said that she could send me an Amazon link to replacement clip that cost about $6 that other t:case users have said works well. I've ordered that but it'll take a week to get here...

u/Swaginator_v2 · 1 pointr/GalaxyS7

Clear and slim. Not bulky and has good drop protection. And it has a cool little kickstand.

u/lunar_unit · 2 pointsr/nexus5x

I've been looking for something similar to use for backpacking. I want quick access to the phone (so mounted on the shoulder strap most likely), want it protected from branches, light rain, etc. I don't want it flapping around, coming off the strap due to a button or velcro type mounting, and probably a clip of some sort to keep the pouch flap locked down.

I'm looking at cases/pouches like this, or this but I need to ascertain sizes before ordering and I'm not sold on the fastening straps/button thing.

The belt/strap loop options on this one are good.

u/_ataraxia · 1 pointr/dogs

everything is very pieced together. the treat bag i currently use is the center piece from this tactical belt set, it's a nice small size and the flap is very easy to open/close with one hand. i don't even know what brand my running belt is, it's just a super simple single-pouch elastic belt.

for the bigger setup, i just wear one of my normal leather belts because the running belt is so thin and stretchy. this is the zippered pouch i've been using. i have a small water bottle similar to this that clips onto my belt, found at marshalls for $5.

i bought this belt recently but haven't used it yet. this one will probably become my all-around dog walking belt though.

u/MStock_t1 · 1 pointr/diabetes

I found the Tandem case and clip to be too bulky. I ordered this clip from Amazon that securely adhered to the back of my pump. It’s worked great for the last 6 months.

https://www.amazon.com/Nite-Ize-HipClip-Attachable-Smartphones/dp/B007CBSBM4/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=clip+for+phone&qid=1554343563&s=gateway&sr=8-3

u/k_jo_ · 1 pointr/Ultralight

I tried a few, and finally settled on this one It's CHEAP - under $10, and you can use it on the hip belt or, with some minor modifcations, on the shoulder strap. There's actually a picture in one of the comments of that. That picture is why I went with this one.

I have an iPhone 8 plus, and there's more than enough room in it for mine. I like that the strap goes all the way over the front of the phone, so when I take my pack off and flop it on the ground, my phone is pretty well protected from dirt and the shock.

It's not UL but it is otherwise perfect.

u/RAMASO · 1 pointr/GalaxyS9

The Supcase Unicorn Beetle will do that with its plastic integrated screen shield that performs better in impacts than any those glass screen "protectors". I have only used the Unicorn Beetle cases since the Galaxy S8. Now on my GS9+. It's also reasonably priced. By the way, the case looks exactly like the renderings in Amazon. High-quality build and materials.

Also happy to help out here if needed - my wife also uses an insulin pump (different design) and I made a snap-on cover for hers.

In the case of this particular pump, and particularly given how it's being worn, have you considered a small leather pouch for it? Even though I can 3D print, I would be inclined towards the pouch concept just because it will be naturally more resistant to "banging around". I found a number of possibilities on Amazon - some designed for pumps but anything about that size with an opening for the tube should work (and it would be easy enough to modify the leather to add an opening if it didn't have one).

Here's one example I found - small but roomy enough that extra padding could be added:

This is the case I ordered for me. I had a holster for my Sony Xperia Z3 and honestly missed using one again. Plus, the idea of digging a 6.3" phone out of my pocket, yeah no thanks. Lol.

u/thelonebanana · 3 pointsr/running

Yeah, I like having it in my hand too. Belts and armbands are uncomfortable and I like being able to peek at my run tracking app or mess with my music. I don't really like having to grip it and I worry about dropping it so I use one of these. Works perfectly. I also have a water bottle for long runs.

u/VicParker · 1 pointr/nexus6

I purchased the MoKo Holster cover case for the belt clip/case combo.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E4RV8DS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

While I don't think it's a terrible case, it is certainly not a great case. Since it's the only case I have any experience with at the moment, I'm only posting this as a recommendation to avoid this one. The rubber is a bit too flimsy, the fit isn't perfect, and it's not as easy as I would like to get in and out of the holster.

On the plus side, it feels pretty rugged, it makes the back more or less flat for ease of use when setting on a flat surface, and the fact that it's not easy to get out of the holster means that it's not likely to fall out of the holster.

So there's that.

u/CarbonUnit8472 · 2 pointsr/lgv30

I have this one currently and I really enjoy it. Just as good as the OtterBox options and much cheaper price.

u/throw-a-weh · 1 pointr/nexus6

I have grabbed two cases. The Moko Kickstand case - 1.95 shipped with Amazon Prime. Perhaps not the greatest, but it is better than nothing. It is already available so I can get it before I get my phone. So if nothing else it should hold me over until I can get the case I really wanted. Only $2 wasted. Perhaps I will like it.

I also ordered the Ringke Slim case which I am unsure if it will make it here before my phone. I am thinking this is going to be my main case, slim, simple and I like that it has the dimple on the back. I also like that all the buttons and ports are open and easy to get to. I have had cases that didn't push the buttons properly, or had dust flaps for ports that just kind of annoyed me over time. Also, a free screen protector as well.

I don't like to spend a lot on a case, I am a simple guy. I am using it more for grip (LG G2 is very slippery out of a case for example) + not gunking the device up more than making my device into a bulletproof tank. The Nexus 5 I look at it wrong and it has fingerprint smudges on the back.

These guys make different sizes. I have a Large for a Galaxy S5, its in a Spigen hard case so the phone is quite large and still fits well into the belt holder. The belt clip locked onto my duty belt pretty well and doesnt move.

This might be what you're looking for. Really good case. Durable and rugged. I really like it.

u/Aphexian · 1 pointr/S7Edge

Best case I've ever had, dropped it plenty of times with no issue. I don't know if this matters to you or not but it also gives the S7 Edge the same thickness as the Note 7 so it feels like you're using one again, minus the S Pen.

I like the Unicorn Beetle. I had one for my LG G3. It fits nicely and keeps it thin. So far I have dropeed my S7 a few times and I dont even see a scratch since the edues are rubber.

Too big for me personally. I have a 10,000 mAh one that fits perfectly in the outer pouch of this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S2G7NP4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Although I have it for other reasons, I'm not playing this enough to even need it.

u/sf49ers65 · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote8

I prefer cases like the [Unicorn Beetle](SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Shield Series Case Designed for Galaxy Note 8, with Built-in Screen Protector Full-Body Rugged Holster Case for Galaxy Note 8 (2017 Release) (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074W2MC7L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Hb2KDbYVFSRR4) or the [Youmaker](YOUMAKER Kickstand Case for Galaxy Note 8, Full Body with Built-in Screen Protector Heavy Duty Protection Shockproof Rugged Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (2017) 6.3 Inch - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RLRHKD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tc2KDbK2HR0SG)

They have great protection, but are to thick (and the youmaker has a kickstand).

u/FeloniousVadge · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

I have a Ziso Bolt case that comes with a screen protector made for the case. I just got it today and haven't had any time to see how it reacts to daily use. The protector is curved to fit the glass. The case is rubber/hard plastic that isn't bulky, feels solid and is easy to hold without it feeling like you'll drop it easily.

u/ooofest · 1 pointr/nexus6

i-Blason Dual Layer with a kickstand and holster:

https://www.amazon.com/i-BlasonDual-Kickstand-Release-Holster-Motorola/dp/B00OGXQ3LC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1511506419&sr=8-2&keywords=i-blason+nexus+6

This thing has protected so many drops from 3+ feet onto concrete, tarmac and tile, that I just take for granted my Nexus 6 will never break from a fall or even moderate throw.

u/lllloydo · 1 pointr/GalaxyS7

I'm currently using this case: https://www.amazon.ca/SUPCASE-Full-body-Holster-Protector-Samsung/dp/B01BLEWFGK/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=unicorn+beetle+s7+case&qid=1569097223&s=gateway&sr=8-1

It works quite well for protecting from falls and stuff. The biggest drawback I have with it, is that the area around the home button collects dirt and whatnot between the screen and the screen protector. Otherwise, I find it to be durable and doesn't add as much bulk as something like an Otterbox Defender.

u/oberstofsunshine · 5 pointsr/diabetes

It might be easier for him to find a cell phone clip or something in the future when it's hard to find one specific thing.

Something like this works well clipping to clothing but not a wheelchair

u/Irish_Jew · 3 pointsr/LeatherClassifieds

Here is my terrible drawing of what I'm looking for

The knife engages when it hooks on the inside of the pocket and pivots outwards.

Youtube video of the mechanism in action

This is a similar "bag" from amazon

The amazon bag doesn't look very durable and it looks very "Tacti-cool" I want something that could hook onto the waistband of my pants and have a loop that I can secure it around my leg so it doesn't move around.

u/lowlife9 · 4 pointsr/Bushcraft

Here is an even easier pocket clip.

u/Lavabeds · 1 pointr/GalaxyNote8

u/bigriveruk · 1 pointr/nexus6

I just got my case for my (now activated) Nexus 6. i-Blason Basically I was looking for strong protection with a kickstand. After reading a ton of reviews I pulled the trigger. Now that it's in hand I regret nothing. Strong build dual layers. I don't use the third layer belt clip holster, it mainly goes from pocket to desk/nightstand. Not bulky, good grip, feels sturdy.

u/reggiewhiteliveson · 4 pointsr/diabetes_t1

I use an old pager/cell phone 'holster' and attach it to waistband right below my belly button. That way I can sleep on my side and also won't roll on top of it. Something like Nite Ize Universal Clip Case Cargo Cell Phone Holder with Holster Belt Clips, Sideways, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004O6347M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_OqTRAb26AC0AT.

u/BlackMoth27 · 1 pointr/headphones

i would get a phone pouch or a hard case and then just run the wires out and i'd open it when i need to access the switches. but otherwise it'd just sit in the pouch,

u/nate_dog · 3 pointsr/victorinox

Picked up a promotional Victorinox Spartan and attached a Nite-Ize adhesive belt/pocket clip. One of my biggest gripes with SAKs is that they tend to fall to the bottom of my pocket. This mod keeps the knife in place throughout the day. It also hides the random company logo on the reverse side.

Edit: Here's the link for the clip http://amzn.com/B007CBSBM4

u/PissPosh · 7 pointsr/diabetes

Yeah, those plastic things from the company are lousy.
I've been using this for a few years: http://www.amazon.com/Nite-Ize-NBC-03-11-Belt-Clip/dp/B007CBSBM4/ref=pd_sim_sbs_misc_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=169AJSP5XEGBGE0MJ2WQ It's way less bulky and I never have to worry about it breaking.

u/octobereighth · 2 pointsr/NoStupidQuestions

You want to search for a cell phone holster or a cell phone hip clip.

A lot of them require a belt, but some don't. This one doesn't, but it only attaches with adhesive so I don't know how strong it is.
