1.) Something that is blue.
This Neblua Funko Pop is not only cute, but also BLUE.
Because Mother's Day is around the corner, how about this gorgeous necklace?
Not only that, but are you a fidget kinda preson? Then this is the perfect thing for you!

2.) Something that says summer (literally or figuratively).
Gotta love summer! You know what comes with summer? Sunflowers!
For some reason, pineapples really remind me of summer. I can't really say why. They just, like, SCREAM "summer" to me.
Summer, to me, also means relaxing with a good book. And what better book than the next one in the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin?

3.) Something food related that is unusual.
Not sure if this counts as unusual, but I thought it was quite abnormal...
Also, I can't say I've ever seen a water melon cake-topper, though I'm no expert on cake toppers.
Also, if horror movies and the undead are your kinda thing, how about a side-dish of zombie?

4.) Something you want to gift to someone else, and tell me why.
I really want to gift this beautiful Pop moment to my brother, because he's amazing and deserves all the things.
I also want to gift this soundtrack to my sister because she's always singing, and I know it'd makes her happy.

5.) A book I should read! I am an avid reader, so take your best shot and tell me why I need to read it!
Oh my gosh, you are totally asking the right person. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is one of the best books that has ever existed. Not only that, but it's a series! Also, my username is taken from the first page of the book, so that must mean that it's good. It's got suspense, kids with powers, and some horror themes. It's just overall a great book. PLEASE check it out!
Another good book series is the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. The final book is coming out this year, so I'm excited!
Why stop there? Another great book is All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. It will break your heart, but in a good way. It's a beautifully written book. I'm not sure what genre you like, but it reminded me of the genre of books like The Fault in Our Stars and Everything, Everything.
Another great series is The Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken. Not only is a great series, but there's also a movie coming out in August that's based off the books! Better get reading. ;)

6.) An item that is less than a dollar, including shipping... that is not jewelry, nail polish, and or hair related!
These are totally adorable AND affordable! Talk about a deal.
Like writing? This notebook would be the excellent choice for the writer within! Or just someone who likes taking notes.
Have a cat? How 'bout some good ol' catfood?

7.) Something related to dogs. (Bonus point if it works for my GSD)
I don't know what GSD means I'M SORRY! But here is the cutest alligator plushie. Like if I was a dog I would legit want it for myself.
I stumbled across this adorable squirrel set thing and I am internally squeeing at the cuteness.
Okay by now I really want a dog. Somebody send me one pronto. Here's an adorable taco plush, because heck it's cute and funny and I really want a puppy.

8.) Something that is not useful, but so awesome you must have it.
Oh boy, you shouldn't have asked. It's the most expensive thing on my wishlist, and it's beautiful. I know, I know, it's a book, but it's more than that! It's a HUGE book with photographs from my favorite, most-loved movie series! Seriously. Words cannot describe how cool of a book it is. And there's a limited number of them made, and there's only 3 left in stock. But I digress. It's not what one would consider useful, but it sure is awesome.
Wait, what's that? I haven't mentioned Kylo Ren in 2 minutes? Oh boy, better change that. Yes, I love Kylo Ren. I'm aware that is a touchy subject with people. I don't care. I have a shrine in my room for Kylo Ren. This pillow is not what most people would call necessary, though honestly I would probably beg to differ.
Pretty much everyone can agree that Funko Pops aren't necessary, but they are so much fun oh my gosh. Like, for instance, this somewhat expensive yet cool Darth Vader Pop.

9.) A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why?
I love movies. With a passion. But my favorite movies of all time, are The Hunger Games movies. If that wasn't evident by the massive expensive book above, then I don't know what is. But honestly, they're great movies. I know they're not for everyone, but they hold a special place in my heart.
Someone recently gifted me Moulin Rouge, and honestly it is so good. So, I also, of course, recommend that. It has singing, great vocalists, great songs, and a great plot. It also has Ewan McGregor, so what's not to like?
I saw Logan (the final Wolverine movie in theaters, and it is such a beautiful movie. Very sad, but very beautiful. The best Wolverine movie in my opinion. 10/10 would watch/cry again.
Another great futuristic movie is V for Vendetta. It's a well-known movie, and it's very good.
If you're into horror, I love the most recent Carrie movie. I know it's not for everyone, but I really liked it.

10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain.
I mean, I think it's pretty self-explanatory, but this bat would make a great weapon in the apocalypse. Also, if you're into leading an army and "saving" people, this bat will probably get you there. (Ahem I totally didn't just buy this bat for myself cough.)
Not sure if bright green is the way to go in the apocalypse, but I'm sure a bow and arrow set would keep you alive for a little bit. Especially if you happen to be Daryl Dixon (though I guess he technically has a crossbow... I digress).
Don't try and tell me that in the apocalypse you won't get peckish. Everyone knows that snacks will be the first to go. Better stock up on those sweet, sweet snacks.

These chips are a staple in our home. You can get regular corn tortilla chips but the black bean chips have more fiber and protein (if you're concerned about protein). We snack on chips and hummus and chips and salsa all the time. I like to get both salsa and hummus out togteher. One chip with a spicy salsa then the next with hummus. The creamy hummus really balances out the spicy salsa.

Potato hashes are yummy and easy. Just cook up some home fries and stir fry them with mushrooms, onions, and peppers. Then you can top them with salsa or green chile.

Buddah bowls are another nice and easy one where you get a variety of plants. Cook some brown rice. Then just top it with what ever you want. Sweet potatoes, avocado, black beans, cucumbers, etc.

I enjoy making veggie stir frys. Just think of your favorite stir frys but hold the meat.

Veggie sandwiches are another good one. Just toast a hoagie. spread hummus on one side then gauc on the other. Then in the middle put your favorite sandwich veggies. For me is tomatoes, some greens (spring mix), cucumbers, olives, banana peppers, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions. I don't put all of those on one sandwich just depends on what I have in the fridge. But gauc and hummus is the bomb on a sandwich.

Burritos are easy. I prep 10 burritos at a time then freeze them. They reheat in the oven really well and get a nice crispy tortilla. I put refried beans, brown rice, sauteed onions, black beans, and enchilada sauce in them.

Another good burrito recipe is to sautee up some spinach. Then stir fry it with some rice, black beans, and corn. Then top with enchilada sauce. I don't freeze these but you probably could if you held off the sauce.

Channa Masala is an easy Indian dish to make. Just sautee some onions and garlic in oil. Then once they have browned just add some canned chick peas and canned diced tomatoes. You can look up recipes for what spices to put in.

Plenty of vegan pastas to make. Most pasta is vegan. Some noodles have eggs but most don't I find.

IF you have access to Trader Joes they have really good vegan spring rolls for quick snacks. They also have vegan falafel. Just a couple items to keep in the freezer that you can pop in the oven when you dont want to cook.

  • Tea. Okay, I know people talk about tea a lot... but I drink a cup pretty much every day now and it's SO great for making me feel full and satisfied. Plus it helps me get more water into my day.

  • Veggie chips. I eat this kind and I love them. My 200-calorie portion feels big!

  • Green beans, broccoli and cauliflower - all vegetables that I find to be very filling. I tried green beans with butter, garlic and lemon zest recently and it was a game changer. I could eat those for an entire meal.

  • Crispy onion salad toppers - something like this. I throw these on all my salads, and as long as you keep the portion under control, they don't add a ton of calories. And they REALLY improve the taste of the salad (and they are delightfully crunchy).

Well, actually, the chips I like are from Ireland - so awesome and yes they have Salt & Vinegar!

These chips are from the UK and they are AWESOME!

Also, love these! They are crispy hoops in several flavors. Love them all :D

Yes, add all the chocolate to your wishlist!! I've received several of the packs, including this one. It's amazingly good!

These cookies, are SO good! and so are these!

Cardio doesn't really have a long term metabolic impact, to my understanding, so no, jogging won't do that.

Weightlifting will provide a somewhat longer term benefit for burning additional calories while muscles repair, but generally only for the next 24 hours, and it's minimal enough that it's not likely to even cover the intake of a Snickers bar, or even an Oreo cookie.

Metabolism is a pretty stable thing. One pound of muscle on average burns around 6 calories per day. So even adding 10 lbs of muscle to your frame would only allow you to eat an additional 50-60 calories in a day, without additional exercise.

And on average, in a perfect world, you might add 15-20 lbs of muscle in a year, with perfect routine and rest. Not very likely for most.

> You workout, you increase your metabolism. That not only has a caloric affect in that workout, but during the day as well. So, it's usually far more than just a bag of chips.

One single serving bag of Lays potato chips (15 chips) has 160 calories. You'd need to add close to 27 lbs of muscle to your frame (or I suppose muscle and fat, since a pound of fat will also burn something like 2-3 calories per day) in order to burn that off by doing literally nothing.

u/Momma-Says · 1 pointr/HealthyFood

I shall hook you up then (I heart amazon):

shrimp chips. These you fry up yourself, but they are super good! Use very hot oil (I use grapeseed, but you can use your favorite), and they cook really fast, like 3 seconds! Fry just a few at a time unless you have a fancy fryer basket.

dried seaweed. I eat these suckers right out of the package, but you can tear them up and top stuff like noodles or soups with them too.

dried squid. These are addictive, they come in a non-spicy version too.

This stuff probably has a ton of salt and probably msg too, but I'm not allergic to msg and I love the stuff.

Protein powders, though I don't bother with it anymore after researching protein needs(look up some vegan body builders on youtube). Youll have to order this online.

Gardeins Crispy Tenders and Chik'n Strips are where its at. The strips work well in enchiladas, chicken wraps, etc (I usually toss the sauce packet out).

Bocas Chik'n patties are really good chicken patties.

You should be able to find those chickn products in grocery stores. Good luck!

Bonus: Follow Your Heart mozarella cheese. Great for everything you want cheese on. Avoid daiya is my suggestion blech.

My wife cooks from Hotforfood recipes, pretty bomb. I would look there for recipe ideas.

u/a_racism_dog · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

It isn't even that hard to do if you really want to.

You can find tortillas on Netrition that are perfect low carb recreations. You can't tell the difference with 70 - 90% fewer carbs. The same goes for products like Beanitos chips which you can eat with cheese and salsa without blowing your carbs away. They are roughly 8 - 10 carbs for 20 chips by weight.

My "diet" goes:

Breakfast: Belgian waffle, Walden farms maple syrup, whipped topping, and strawberries.

Lunch might end up being a chocolate chip Know Foods cookie and strawberry Bai (Snapple type) drink.

Dinner is anything from a burger to steak made into fajitas. With bread, tortillas, chips, rice, pasta, and on and on made keto (low carb) friendly you don't have to suffer through giving up everything you like to eat. You just need to change what it is made out of.

Take sugar as the core example. It is in everything you buy from soup at the store to ketchup you're putting on fish. You can replace it with a Rare-5 sugar like Allulose instead. It is organic completely natural, isn't connected to gut fermentation or problems, and generally appropriate for all ages. I made a chocolate pie for dessert the other day all while keeping keto.

I got a graham cracker style crust off of Netrition along some boxed chocolate instant pudding (made with alcohol sugar) and combined that with whipped topping and strawberries. It was awesome with zero baking and very little mess. Everybody loved it. Note: Alcohol sugar won't impact your sobriety. It is named for the process that makes it.

u/paulrulez742 · 2 pointsr/Cooking

Chex Mix !!!

It's one of those things that people tend to forget about. Finding a recipe should be easy and it's a really easy process. Everyone's recipe is a little different. Some people like more Worcestershire sauce, some don't like the peanuts. I always add some Gardettos.

Or another super easy and enjoyable gift idea would be to make roasted pecans

Rofl. I lived in the US for 10 years; ketchup chips and alphaghetti were staples in care packages. Now back in Canada I am getting care packages from my family in the US. We want what we want. :0)

I’m not sure if this is real.. lol

u/ShrinkingElaine · 1 pointr/90daysgoal

I'm guessing these? I've tried them once, they are in fact delicious. They also make "Woster chips" that are flavored like Worcestershire sauce, which are also amazing.

u/jgehlbach · 1 pointr/maximumfun

German items:

Paprika chips are delicious, only weird to think about.

Club-Mate, carbonated iced tea made from the same plant as yerba mate. Really strange flavor, high in caffeine, low in sugar, so no crash. Highly addictive if you can get through the first two bottles; the German hacker community runs on this stuff. Unofficial motto: „Man gewöhnt sich daran” – "One gets used to it."

Blutwurst, blood sausage. A friend's non-anglophone mother put a piece in my hand in a rush out the door one morning. My friend IDed it after I'd enjoyed the last bite.

u/jordood · 2 pointsr/TwinCities

How about some lesser known mom-and-pop spicy chips?

Mama Zuma's Revenge Habanero Potato Chips

Zapp's Spicy Cajun Crawtator

Zapp's Voodoo Heat

And there are still Flamin' Hot Ruffles out there as well.

There's also the international chip market to be explored!

From Japan, Calbee Hot and Spicy and Karamucho's Hot Chili.

From Korea, Samyang Zzaldduck.

From the Phillipines, Boy Bawang Cornick Hot Garlic.

From Mexico, Takis, of course - but don't forget about Totis!

And from Great Britain, Mega Monster Munch Flamin Hot.

Spicy chips are out there waiting to be tried - maybe one of them will be your new go-to!

u/nullreturn · 16 pointsr/Justrolledintotheshop

Ketchup flavored Lay's (there's most definitely other brands) and KD is Kraft Dinner, other wise known as good 'ole Kraft Blue Box Mac and Cheese.

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I would like these to take to work and keep there as a snack. I don't gets breaks most days so it's nice to have something easy to munch on.

Thanks for the contest!

u/earthwormjim91 · 8 pointsr/funny

That hasn't happened with Lays though. They've gotten significantly cheaper.

Back in 1995 they were .75¢ for one of the individual sized bags, and 1.75oz, clearly marked on the bag itself there for the linited edition Looney Tunes ones in 1995. Today they are 1.5oz, and you can get a pack of 64 on Amazon for .495¢ a bag. Adjusted for inflation that 1.75oz bag of chips would cost $1.21. You can buy almost three bags for the same price as a single one 22 years ago.

Normal bag was 14oz in 1995 for 2.99. Party size bag now is 15.25oz for 3.48 on Amazon prime pantry. Went up a whole 0.49¢ and you get an extra 1.25oz. Especially since with inflation, 2.99 in 1995 is 4.88 today.

The chips are cheaper for more for the big bags, and significantly cheaper for the small bags for very slightly less.

u/Fairhope · 2 pointsr/oddlysatisfying

If you have access to an Asian market, they have these or similar on sale:

https://www.amazon.com/Prawn-Flavored-Chips-Colored-Shrimp/dp/B00D1VUVTU (You just deep fry, it takes one second and poofs up like the OP gif)

If you ever feel like making it from scratch, it's easy and I linked a recipe below. It's so much cheaper either way, since the chips balloon up.

u/armednblonde · 5 pointsr/nutrition

If you live in the US these are really yummy and better for you than Mcdonalds. A bag is 45g protein and 450 calories. Bags are around $4 or less, at least where I live.

u/jaskmackey · 1 pointr/pics

12 bags, only thing on my Amazon Wish List.

Or you can find them in gas stations. Mix them up with some Flavor Blasted Goldfish. Trust me.

u/Backstop · 2 pointsr/AskReddit

But if it was something like what the OP wants, human kibble, they would have to make flavors of it. Like the way they have potato chips that taste like everything from BBQ to haggis.

u/TurnOfFraise · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I think the easiest thing is to just keep it simple. Veggies and hummus are some of my favorite. These are really delicious if you like a good crunch. I also recommend this but only if you buy them in the store. The amazon price is totally ridiculous.

u/M4x4x4x · 2 pointsr/Wishlist

u/atvar8 If you like a little spice, Takis are awesome. I just tried them recently. I’m also obsessed with Hello Panda cookies!

u/firefox15 · 1 pointr/loseit

While some people judge me for buying food off Amazon, it's the best place to find rare items:

u/boweruk · 2 pointsr/videos

You can't really go wrong with Walkers brand. It's the most popular brand for a reason, I suppose.

Here they are on Amazon (US).

u/Cranberry_Lips · 4 pointsr/interestingasfuck

They're shrimp flavored rice flour discs that puff up when you fry them. Add a little salt and they're perfect. You can find them at any Asian grocery store or Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D1VUVTU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jZ8SybPYPN6AV

u/bretttt · 3 pointsr/ecuador

They do not have jelly beans here, which is insane. My Ecuadorian wife is also obsessed with this Mexican snack sold in the US called Takis. Ecuadorians LOVE them: https://www.amazon.com/Takis-Fuego-Pepper-Flavored-Snacks/dp/B00CQM23IC Also, Tabasco Cheese-its are always a hit. They sell peanut butter in the stores here along with things like Reeses and they prefer salty snacks so I would focus on those.

u/dblue236 · 1 pointr/Wishlist

I have these delicious cheese and onion chips in my Food/Snacks wishlist... they're the most addictive thing ever!

u/bananabomber · 2 pointsr/Edmonton

Oh man. If you hate Save-On's, you'd REALLY hate Urban Fare. It's a sister company found exclusively in Vancouver that caters to the yuppie downtown crowd with an "image is everything" mentality. It was also the first place I'd ever been that sold fresh made pizza by weight ($2.19/100g) They also sell a lot of novelty rich people items like birthday cake in a jar and haggis-flavored chips (which tasted a lot like cheap bologna instead.)

The location I used to work at was popular with celebrities. Bryan Cranston, Julianne Moore, and Steve Nash among others have been customers before.

u/kayfeif · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

My unhealthy coping mechanism is definitely food. yesterday I ate three days worth of calories of fried food in one sitting. my job is causing me so much stress right now. these kinds of foods are also my go to stress foods.

i hope both of our days get better soon
