Leather Jacket - I paid $28.99 with Prime but it seems to only be 3rd party now (She's wearing a large as it does run small) She ordered spikes from Wish and added them to the collar, I wouldn't recommend the way she did it since she lost a bunch of spikes throughout the day, she basically just cut x shaped holes and just shoved the base into it and some ended up being too big and didn't hold the spikes.

Fingerless Gloves - These are $10.99 with Prime

Shirt- $9.95 with Prime, and I just printed out the Bowser face like this one and cut it out and painted it on with regular cheap acrylic paint

Shorts - They were something like this, I'm not sure if this is the exact product she ordered but they're $9.99 with Prime too

Choker - Just came from Wish for a few dollars

Wig - Luthien in Cherry Red from Arda Wigs for $40.00

Thighs Highs - Kelly Green for $8.00

Belt - Picked up in stores from Spencer's for $19.99

Horns - were from Etsy and are definitely a personal preference matter, I wanted smaller horns for the design and she wanted more noticeable ones (She was all about the biggest spikes and the big horns to the point it wasn't very practical or safe lol) but you can get small resin horns for like $10 or the larger horns made for Bowsette and stuff for like $30-40

The tights are just cheap fencenets from amazon, the boots she had before we were friends and all the colors used for her makeup were from the Nyx Brights pallette if that helps!

I hope if you decide to make it that it turns out how you hope! and if you have anymore questions or wanna know about the Chain Chomp or Peach just let me know!! Good luck!

I'm brand new here so what the hell do I know, but here's my suggestion for a basic kind of outfit that won't be a massive leap into anything crazy. First of all, while you probably won't need them during the summer, get a couple pairs of good skinny jeans, something like these maybe. Dark blue is super classic and seemingly never goes out of style.

Now, for summer, I would get a pair of tan/white-ish shorts. You can wear basically anything with them, so it's a good basic to have when you're still figuring out what goes with what. I like to find a comfortable brand and get a couple different colors of the same short. Here's an example from Amazon with multiple colors. Then find a top you like. Just go explore. Best advice my friend ever gave me was to go try on something that I thought looked cute/cool, but would "never wear". Once you see it actually on you, you might be surprised how much you like it. That being said, however, it never hurts to just have a few basic shirts in your collection, like these, for example.

So, for example: This shirt and these shorts.

Also, read this about matching colors, because it is incredibly helpful.

I tend to like clothing that is a bit more on the simple or plain side, because then it makes it really fun to accessorize or mix & match pieces, so a lot of my choices reflect that.

I think this dress is super cute and lacey/witchy.

doc martens are the perfect edgy shoe you can wear all year round! The dark glossy cherry red color is super pretty too.

These pants are really cute and are a super lightweight material which makes them nice to wear in the spring/early summer/early fall. There are also similar ones in a plaid print that I looooove.

This dress/skirt is super freaking cute and comes in a couple of different colors!

These shorts have a witchy vibe to me! Plus, these type of shorts are the BOMB during the summer.

My brain is tired & I can’t think of a pun right now 😭

We have similar taste in a way!

I dabble more in Victorian-era style clothing, but retro-ish things find their way into my wardrobe and wishlist sometimes as well.

Some things I think you would like: These cute space-themed tights, another cute pair of tights, high-waisted shorts, way cute dress, just trust me on these capris, frilly socks, and a graphic tee for good measure.

so glad /u/UpsidedownTreetrunk got the image working, I think I can help!

charlotte russe $23

D&K amazon $18

forever21 $20

I also saw some very similar shorts at target this spring but I couldn't find them online, you might have better luck in stores? hope that helps!

I thought this may help my fellow new parenters out there. If you're anything like me, you scoured the internet checking off every "must-have" baby items list before your LO was born, but I still ended up having Amazon deliver things about every other day for the first couple months.

As a disclaimer, I'm not saying these are MUST HAVE items. I just went through my Amazon purchases and I'm writing down some things that I purchased in those 3 AM wee hour Amazon shopping sprees.

Here's a compilation of everything that I felt I missed in my preparation for my baby girl:

  • An electric nail file. I was terrified to cut her nails myself. This is a safe and easy alternative.
  • A Swaddle UP. This allows her hands to be by her face, which she preferred her first month or two.
  • Friedababy MediFrida. My baby had a rough go of reflux and was diagnosed with Ranitidine pretty quickly. This helped us give her doses with no fuss!

  • Comfy shorts for me. I was unprepared for my post C-Section body and clothing options.

  • Gripe Water / Colic Drops. My reflux baby had some rouuuuugh nights. These helped? Maybe? Witching hour SUCKS.
  • A bigger swaddle that ZIPS. Screw trying to unvelcro my child out of her swaddle quietly at 2 AM.
  • A mirror to help with tummy time. She still hates tummy time. But she does like looking at herself for a while. So I count that as a win.
  • MORE. BOOKS. you don't have enough. I promise. After the 15th time of reading "The Rainbow Fish" you'll appreciate a change of pace. I personally recommend, "The Wonky Donkey."
  • Trial and error pacis. Your kid will have a preference and you'll just have to figure out which. Once you figure it out, buy extras.

  • Bibs / ABSORBENT Burp Cloths. Again... You don't have enough. And the little tiny rags that Gerber tries to sell at Target will not do the trick. Get some THICK in your burp cloth regimen.

    ---

I hope this helps! Let me know if there's anything you would add to the list.

What’s your definition of length? I have “work shorts” that go to mid thigh but I always feel park-Rangery in them.

I bought these recently and love the length on them. I’m 6’ and a 35” inseam for reference. I don’t know why they say juniors....I wear an 8 dress size and the large fit perfect.

Welcome to the crew!

I have always been self conscious about my legs and so I dont wear shorts, but I love this and would love to try them.

Thank you for the contest!

Oh my gosh, I can answer this! I bought these in February and only just now started wearing them to work out (winter just continues to hold on!). They stay in place and aren’t too long to look awkward. They’re comfortable and have great coverage. I got the grey but will buy the rest on my next paycheck. I just wish they had brighter colors.

Recently bought these.

I absolutely love them and they fit a bit loose which I love! But, what the heck do I wear them with?

u/lovezero · 2 pointsr/bartenders

I like these. Not too short, deep pockets and good stretch. I’m plus size and they fit true to size for me. Ymmv. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E8111B8

I got these linen shorts from Amazon and I really love them! After being washed and worn, they are softer and less structured and preppy-looking than the picture. They're midi-length, which is perfect for me, but also could be cuffed to make them shorter. Plus they have front AND back pockets!

I live in MD so I definitely feel the hot-and-humid necessity for shorts haha.

u/IDontItsCinnamon · 1 pointr/xxfitness

These are great. They come to my mid thigh and they are great for running.

As a girl I’d probably just look at guys shorts since there’s a lot more to choose from. There are some cute cargo camo ones that are shorter and more form fitting.

I share your struggle! I'm in between and have trouble finding clothes that both fit well and suit my age. These are awesome!
