Heya, welcome to RAoM!! I hope you enjoy it here :D Also, happy birthday c:

I'd definitely recommend picking up the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk -- it's a great base that really makes colors pop! It's also really creamy, so it blends out easily.

I also love my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I have Rendezvous (a very orange-y coral) and Lovestick (bright pink), which are perfect for summer. I also have Romantic (pretty true red) and my sister has Crush (a darker plum), which are great for fall. These are really easy to wear because they feel just like lip balms, but they're also very nicely pigmented.

If you want to play around with a lot more colors, I would say go for the Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette -- I use at least one color from this every time I do my make-up! It's not too pricey, but it gives you a lot to experiment with :)

I think it would be a pretty great time to pick up some brushes. Since you're just starting out, I'd probably go with ELF brushes because they're super cheap. Here are a few of my favorites (although I'd recommend looking in store at Target, because the white brushes are only $1 and the black ones are usually only $3; they might be cheaper on the ELF website too):

Eyeshadow Brush -- great for packing on the color
Blending Brush -- because everyone could use a nice blender!
Contouring Brush -- really great for applying color in the crease
12 Piece Set -- I don't actually own all these brushes, but it looks like a great set to start with, especially for only $12!

As for something I'd like...well, I'm currently obsessing over this lipstick in Black Cherry, because it is the PERFECT color for fall, and I don't have any other dark lip colors :3

Oh yea, and Summer Fun !

EYES + EYESHADOW

  • LOTS OF DIFFERENT PARTS: When you're doing eye makeup, it gets a little more complicated than "eyelid" and "eyeball" so here is a diagram showing all the different parts of the eye in Makeuplandia. The diagram does a little bit of explaining but I'll elaborate... So there's the brow bone (just about right underneath your brow) and here you'll want to highlight (which basically means use a light eyeshadow color). Underneath that there's the crease, which is your socket line (so take your fingers, close your eyes, and feel along the upper top of your eyeball--that's your crease!). In your crease you'll use the darkest color to contour, because I guess we're all trying to go for the deep-set eyes look. Then over to the left is outer v, and sometimes people get fancy and make the color a little darker over there, and this diagram doesn't have it labeled but on the other side (side closest to your nose) there would be the inner v and you can get fancy and put a little bit of a bright color there or whatever. Now, going to what's in the middle that is your eyelid! You probably know what that is so I'll skip the explanation and let's go down to the upper lash line--that's just right on top where your lashes are and this is where you put eyeliner. Now down to the lower lash line-- you can also put eyeliner there, or you can skip it if you want your eyes to look a little bigger (or if you're lazy like me). Now that scary orange blob that says water line is actually talking about the part that isn't skin but is actually wet and probably pinkish and if you look at your eye in a mirror, look at your lower lashes, and then look at the place where your lower lashes meet eyeball, that little border of flesh right there is your water line.
  • EYE PRIMER: Remember that stuff you put all over your face that came in a rainbow of colors? This is the eye version of it! The purpose of eye primer is to prevent creasing which is where your eyeshadow decides to throw a party and ends up in a congo line like this (scroll down a bit for the pictures). So use eye primer! I use Etude House 10 primer and I like it well enough, but other popular ones are Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion. I haven't tried either of them so I can't speak to those, but EH works just fine for me. When you twist off that long handle, at the end it looks like a little lip gloss applicator and I dab it on my eyelid and then gently spread it with my finger. And then I go about with my happy little eyeshadow business.
  • EYESHADOW: Eyeshadow is the colored stuff that you put on your eyelid/outer v/inner v/all over your damn face if you're me. It comes in many different forms including pressed powder, loose powder, baked, cream, stick, etc. And if that weren't enough it comes in different finishes too: matte (no shimmer or sparkle as seen here), satin (no actual glitter but it's not as flat as matte which you can see here), shimmer (just a bit of sparkle which you can see here), and then glitter (kind of obvious, but you can see it here). Also there are some eyeshadows that can be used both wet and dry. If your eyeshadow can be used wet I'd recommend that approach because I feel like it goes on smoother. But if you try to use an eyeshadow that isn't meant to be used wet it could ruin it, so please check! And, there are also things like "eyeshadow bases" and they can come in a variety of different colors. I think it's popular to use a white eyeshadow base because the shadow color you select with pop a bit more if it's on white. A popular "eyeshadow base" is NYX's milk pencil, but I haven't personally used it. And a note: Usually if you buy a single of eyeshadow they're crazy expensive, so it's best to stick with palettes (Lorac Pro is a good option for matte and shimmery finishes, but I haven't tried it myself since I'm cheap--I stick with the Wet 'N Wild trios because they tell you where to put each color, they're $3, and they're quite pigmented). For neutral looks I like this this WNW trio which is supposed to be a dupe for some mid-range colors. There are also independent (indie) companies that make eyeshadow, generally in loose forms but some do have pressed ones and I have a hard-on for Fyrinnae as you can see in that post by me in an entry for Lava's contest. (Seriously go read that and check out all the links.)
  • EYELINER: Eyeliner does basically what it sounds like, lines your eye. You can get fancy and do things like winged eyeliner if you want. The purpose is to define your eye. Eyeliner, as you might have guessed, also comes in many different forms including pencil, automatic eyeliner (it's like the mechanical pencil of eyeliner, you just twist it and it comes up and you don't have to sharpen), liquid (basically like a marker or felt-tip pen), gel, etc. A lot of people are also fond of using waterproof eyeliners because they don't budge. I'm not fancy so I just use Ulta-brand gel eyeliner which I like well enough, but you should probably get a recommendation from someone else who is in love with their eyeliner.
  • LASHES: So, you have eyelashes. And you can do things to them like curl them and apply mascara. If you go here and watch the video "Makeup Artist Secret" (I don't know what's so secret about it) you'll learn how to curl your lashes (once at the base of your lashes, in the middle, and at the end)) and also how to use mascara (with the shimmy/wiggle thing). He also uses mascara primer, which you could use too but I think a lot of people just skip that unless they're going for colored eyelashes (because the primer is usually white so it would accentuate that). Mascara can also come in waterproof versions which most people prefer. I've heard you're not supposed to use waterproof ones regularly because they make your lashes more brittle, but I know a lot of people use exclusively waterproof mascaras and still have all of their lashes. Just something to be aware of though :)

Edit: I will recommend the Lancome Le Curler. I am borrowing my mother's on a semi-permanent basis and I love it.

Hi! I have combo skin and these are some products that I've found really help with the longevitiy of my make up. I live in a rather warm climate where I don't get winter. I don't really sweat that much though so these are more for longevity (going to school at 10am and leaving at 11pm)

  • Eye Primer: I've found that a REALLY good eye-primer helps combat my oily lids to prevent creasing & my eyeliner getting everywhere! I really like NARS Smudgeproof, because it especially helps prevent the tips of my wings & inner corners from wearing out

  • Eyeliner: I'm a HUGE Dolly Wink Eyeliner Advocate! I find that it's like the Asian version of Kat Von D, except with a finer tip and blacker! I think this eyeliner's longevity is great, and coupled with the NARS primer I can get a full day's wear. I like tightlining with Marc Jacob's Highliner or Lancome's Liqui-pencil. UD Perversion is good too, but it's really creamy so I avoid it on hot days.

  • Brows: I used Too Faced Bulletproof brows and went to the waterpark (I know, I know. I just really don't like living without brows) with it on and it still looked great at the end of the day! I think brow gel is really helpful in keeping your brows in tact all day, but I like Loreal's Brow Stylist or Anastasia's tinted brow gel! :) If you have pretty full brows, you could just used Loreal's Brow Stylist to hold everything in place.

  • Multi-purpose: If you're looking for something that's more multipurpose, Anastasia Genius Waterproofing Gel can be used patted on top of your eyebrow products, eyeliner, or lipstick to help it last through the day.

  • Setting Spray: Skindinavia Setting Spray is AMAZING; I didn't really believe all the reviews until I used it one day and my face was totally intact after walking around for 6 hours and falling asleep for another 2 hours. After a minor touch up with powder, I was still able to go out for the night in the same make up.

  • e.l.f. neutral eyeshadow palette (so many beautiful, beautiful colors and it's pretty well pigmented)
  • Flower Kiss Slick in Black Rose (this is a gorgeous wine color! I love it!)
  • e.l.f. Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia (I think-- it doesn't say it on the blush itself. This is supposed to be a dupe for Nars Orgasm. I am in love the blush! Such a pretty color!)
  • Revlon Photoready Eye Primer + Brightener (a lot of people seem to hate this because it's a twist/click tube, but it doesn't bother me. It primes well IMO and definitely brightens my eyes up.)

Here's a look from today using my top 5!

    Here's my WL item.

    I got 5 on it
u/cushionbean · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

In regards to eye shadow, so long as you use a primer, as mentioned by /u/lottiebobs, I think cheaper eye shadows should be mostly fine. I do love the UDPP but I found that using it every day means that it only lasts about two-three months and it's quite pricey to be be buying it that frequently. I've been using Makeup Revolution Eye Primer Original (comes in matte and bright too) and then using NYX's Milk as a base. I got the Milk crayon for £5, so wait until the price is cheaper on Amazon. I find this combination works really well, lasting at least 12 hours. I usually have oily lids that crease horribly without a primer.

Just had a look through Superdrug's Makeup Revolution section and it looks like they have a nice selection of nice eye shadows. I haven't tried them but they have been raved about in the blogging world.

Maybe as a treat to yourself one day, you could consider getting the Lorac Pro Palette from Amazon.com. I did this a couple of weeks ago and just love it. Works out to be about £36, which is the same price as the Naked Palettes but I find the Lorac so versatile and beautifully creamy. There are also loads of tutorials out there on the palette, but I've found it so fun to experiment as all the colours look great together.

u/Kontinuality · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

My top five right now are:

  1. Skin79's Hot Pink BB Cream. I've always wanted to try a BB cream with good benefits, but I haven't really heard good things about western brands.

  2. A concealer palette because goodness I need that coverage.

  3. This one's a bit of a stretch because I've fallen in love with it after trying it in store but money always likes to get between me and the things I love: Chanel's Rouge Allure #92 - Secrete. I couldn't find this one on Amazon for some reason. :/

  4. On my wishlist, I put the Anastasia Brow Kit, but really any brow kit for brunettes would work. But the stencils seem like they could really help me get my brows to cooperate.

  5. Stila's Smudge Pot because I've heard great myths and urban legends about this stuff and I'm hoping this would be an eyeliner that I can actually use well.
u/megandharma · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Funny face without warpaint! :) But I make faces like this because I don't always feel pretty..

I'm extremely self-conscious about my acne. I have it all over my face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. If I don't have at least BB Cream on and end up in public... I do not give eye contact. It bugs me so much! I've had acne since I was 12. I'm 25 now. I feel like it'll never go away. So I'll keep wearing my warpaint and hope for the best. The picture I posted was from a good skin day which are so very few and far between~ sigh maybe one day I'll have the health coverage or the income to see a dermatologist.. one day.

edit: Btw I bet your braces are super cute! I wouldn't worry about those because before too long they'll come off and you'll have an AMAZING smile. Something positive will come of them. :)

edit 2: This would be nice since I have yet to pick one up myself! :3

Yay contests are the best!
My name is Paige. My favorite make up stuff is pretty much any eye stuff from UD. My favorite make up look is a natural smokey eye!! I use a skin colored shadow on my lid and a darker brown on the crease with winged eyeliner. Pretty much my everyday look. Lol. And my most interesting fact, hmmmm. I'm pretty boring. I have 3 cats? Lol. And I would LOVE this Add-on item! NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

It's my party!

Happy Birthday! I hope you get to celebrate with all sorts of makeup goodies :) Mine isn't until September, and I'll be 21 so I'm sure everything will be alcohol related haha. But if it was my birthday, I would really love to receive either Tarte's EmphasEYES Amazonian Clay Liner in black, or Stila's Smudge Pot in Kitten. I've been very tempted to try both for quite some time, and I couldn't decide which sounded more appealing, so if I win, feel free to choose whichever you think is a better pick!

u/chafingcow · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

More than a specific brand, I'd say learning how to properly tightline has helped me the most. You don't want the liner to be over your lashes or on your waterline (more likely to cause smudging). The liner needs to be placed on the root of your lashes. Practice makes perfect!

If you're a fan of pencil, Rimmel Scandal Eyes is a popular choice.

Gel? Maybelline Eye Studio or Wet n Wild Mega Eyes.

I, personally, have yet to find a pencil or gel that didn't smudge on me (regardless of price), so I prefer liquid. Physician's Formula is a good drugstore option. I also love love LOVE Asian liners like Clio, Dolly Wink, and Kiss Me Heroine.

Thanks for hosting!! I just woke up so my day is going well so far.

I really want to increase my running speed a bit this week!

And three things for myself? Well I need to go to the eye doctor and get new glasses. I need to get a pedicure, my feet are so tired these days! And I would like to just relax one night and have a netflix night. Haven't had one of those in a while!

Here's my link! Hope I win. Thanks for hosting <3

Challenge Acccepted

I've got a few changes in my life that I'm in need of implementing. I'm only going to focus on a few, though. My goal is to become a makeup artist who works on movie sets (hardest part of makeup to get in to, I've heard) but I'm going to try watch a video tutorial from an actual makeup artist at least once a day and do my makeup more often. This will include trying new techniques on myself/best friend and my poor boyfriend (who will do it because he knows it will help - he's such a sweetheart).

I also have severe anxiety and I've been taking a lot more medication for it than necessary. I'm going to take this opportunity to push myself to only take it when I need it as opposed to when I just don't want to try the harder way of calming myself down.

I will leave the house more often and stop pushing my psychologist appointments back. I will also find a different way to deal with my anxiety when I get home from these trips out.

So TL;DR: Learn something new about makeup every day in preparation for next year's study, manage my anxiety pills and the anxiety itself better and leave the house when I should instead of just letting others do it for me. When I get home I'll deal with my anxiety in different ways until I find the right one.

Good luck with your OCD. I've watched the effects first hand and I know how much of a struggle it can be. Remember at your darkest times - there's always an other side, it will get better!

My reward to myself will be on the 18th of september and it'll probably be: This and This

It depends on how successful I am overall. Both if I can do it all a lot better and only one if I manage only one or two things.

u/strawberrytrash · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup
  1. My day is going well so far. My cat woke me up because she was being all sweet and wanted my attention, so wasn't bothered.

2.I actually set a goal for myself this week. I want to wake up every day at 10. I don't have class until 1 most days, so I was sleeping until 1230 and feeling like garbage. No more of that!

  2. A) I'm going to start stretching when I wake up in the mornings before I shower.
    B) have one 'lazy day' whenever I can. Its okay to sit around in pajamas all day, once in a while.
    C) I'm going to practice my parallel parking all week and go take my road test before the end of the month. I'm done being unable to drive! I'm too old for that crap and it really holds me back.

  3. Strawberry Milk is adorable and perfect and ive had my eye on it for a while.

Thanks so much for holding the contest. You better be taking good care of yourself, as well<3

I love the comic book look! And here's a pretty great tutorial on how to do it. All you need is makeup, and you can wear whatever you want! No need to buy anything new so that's a plus!

Here's my wishlist item. Thanks for hosting! Loving all these ideas!

I wish I were brave enough to dye my hair blonde and maybe even pair it with really bold lips that I've started wearing. Except this big a dye job isn't really mainstream or accepted yet, and my office is so conservative business formal I felt nervous even wearing opalescent light blue nails to work today.

Edit: I'd absolutely love to try out NYX's Black Bean, or the Barely Branded color tattoo, or be surprised with whatever!

I haven't gone a full day with any of my Nyx pencils yet since I just got them, but the swatches on my hand are holding up pretty well. Nyx pencils are only like $5 at Target, and you can easily find them online. They aren't on sale anymore, but I bought the 3-pack from this seller:

Milk & Black Bean pair - $10

Milk, Black Bean, & Yogurt - $12

Five-Pack - $20

Your favorite makeup look (could be one that you've done, one that you've found...whatever! You can describe it or show us): I go really natural pretty much all the time. My whole goal is to look as just naturally radiant and effortless as possible. It takes a lot of work to look natural!
Your most interesting fact/story: I used to work in a high end casino in Las Vegas and I saw Justin Timberlake in a hallway going to his room. I smiled (while freaking out on the inside) and he RAN AWAY. Like I was chasing him.

Let's see... for my cleanser... I use Murad Soothing Gel Cleanser... so smooth, I love it. It feels fantastic. Or I have some anti-aging Equate stuff that I use sometimes. I moisturize with some Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer and I have the Ulta Renew eye serum for under my eyes. Um oh and I use a Neutrogena oil-free makeup remover as well... My skincare is routine is this: every morning before makeup, I moisturize with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. It's so light and makes my skin feel so perfect. Then every night I cleanse with Origins Checks and Balances frothy cream cleanse, which is AMAZING for combination skin. It's evened me out so much! Then every other day or every two days I use Origins rice exfoliater (blanking on the name right now) and it's pretty good at getting away all the dead skin and evening out my skin's texture.

If it was my birthday I think I would want some eye makeup. Colors make me nervous but I think this purple palette would suit me and of course I'd need Milk with it. I also need a new kabuki brush, a new face brush and some beauty blenders. I'd probably ask for one of these "sets" or a combination of these items.

My day is going okay. I've been feeling tummy flutters and "kicks" that feel identical to how it felt when I was pregnant with my son, so I took a test and it was negative. Apparently "phantom baby kicks" are a pretty common thing...which is good, because my son is just under 9 months old, lol! Not ready for #2 yet, but I still made an appointment on Wednesday just to be sure. This week I hope to get all of my laundry caught up, and get my grandpa over here to help Hubs install the new regulator on my stove so I can cook again. I haven't had a stove since the 4th of July, and sandwiches/cereal are getting boring, and eating out is expensive! Tonight when Hubs gets home, I am handing him baby and going to take a shower and shave (this counts as two, I promise!), and later this week I am going out with a couple of friends after baby is in bed for some much-needed karaoke therapy! I'm also supposed to do something today with one of my friends who has a daughter exactly 6 weeks younger than my son. No clue what we are doing yet though. I'll add a link once baby wakes up (he's on me) and I can get to my laptop instead of my phone.
Edit: to add Milk! I don't own any NYX products because no where near me sells them! :(

This is my first contest entry!

Currently my top five items:

u/ulurulouwho · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

I found this if you'd like! Some sellers have free shipping and Amazon only offers it if you spend a certain amount of money.

Bad Girl looks amazinggg. Have you tried anything else from Sleek? I'm interested in their pout paints and dipliners and contour palettes and EVERYTHING, haha.

u/MyKindOfLullaby · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

Primer is a more slightly sticky base that allows your shadow to adhere to your skin much better than just foundation. A base is slightly stickier and goes on top of a primer to help even more with color payoff. I really like this nyx eyelid primer because it's super affordable and available at so many stores including target and ulta! Just a primer works great but if you want your eyeshadow to really pop then I put a light layer of this nyx jumbo pencil in milk over the primer. Primer is a toootal game changer!!

Oh lord this contest was made for my wishlist. Or the other way around.

Hiya! I juuust introduced myself around here; what a lovely little corner of reddit!

My skincare routine is pretty SCA heavy:

  1. Cleanse with CeraVe Foaming

  2. Tone with Rose Witch Hazel by Thayer's

  3. Swipe with Stridex Red Box Pads

  4. Moisturize with Korres Pomegranate Gel or CeraVe lotion

  5. At night, I'll use a little dab of Origins GinZing Eye Cream. I find it really refreshing and moisturizing.

Once a week: Aztec Healing Clay mask with ACV or Origins Charcoal Mask

And here's my special something link from Amazon.

Thank you so much for doing a raffle -- that's so fun. Ilovethedaisypup

My favorite product so far is this MICA Harlequin Eyeshadow I got from my ipsy bag last month. I love how vibrant the color is.

I'm pretty much hoping to learn anything and everything. I'm hoping once I find my right color I'm gonna try to figure how to apply foundation, concealer and that good stuff. That's pretty much first on my list of things to learn. I recently bought a tutorial from Sephora, it's a Bare Minerals thinger that teaches you how to do smokey eye, and it gives you some brushes and different eye shadows. I'm pretty excited to try that one out, but I've been sick lately. D:

1.So far my day is going pretty well, I slept in which made it even better.

2. This week I'm going to California so I'm just hoping to have a lot of fun this week.

3. A few things I've been doing just for me are: losing a few pounds, growing my nails out, and working on my face makeup because I don't think it's at the potential it could be.

4. My item would have to be a NYX milk pencil, I haven't used one yet but I hear so much about them.

Ive been wearing liquid liner daily for...10 years or so? I've gone through quite a few products (both drugstore and mid range) and without a doubt my favorite is the Japanese brand Dolly Wink's brush tipped liquid liner. Here is the Amazon distributor I purchase it from. Its precise, opaque, and has excellent lasting power. KVDs Tattoo Liner also has a brush tip, but personally I found the formula watery and patchy, and the brush a lot less precise than the Dolly Wink one. I love this liner enough that I've actually trying out other liners all together.

NYX jumbo pencil, please! Thanks for hosting the wishful wednesday :)

Go Ben

I think you should go with several things from your list.

Chopper You need one of these and they are fun to use.

Practical but cool

Less Practical but still very useful

What SHOULD you make for dinner? Buy this book so you don't have to ask that question.

And tea to enjoy while using all of the other things

I'd be a leaf devil whirlwind, especially right now! A small localised whirlwind of chaos that’s more interesting than actually causing trouble or damage.

I think it sums up my recent holiday attempt too - lots of bad stuff happened (pickpocketed, lost, stuck on trains, lost baggage, missed coach) but it was an interesting holiday and looked pretty like leaves swirling in the sky.

Also we actually get leaf devil whirlwinds over here and most other extreme weather kinda avoids Britain... its more cold, wet and mild... but thats no fun to be!

I've only recently really invested in my skin, so I am a total newb!

Every morning I wake up and shower, washing my face with the water from the showerhead but nothing else. Then, when I get out, I wash with warm water and the CeraVe hydrating cleanser. I then use a damp wash cloth lightly to (very lightly) exfoliate my face. I let that air dry a bit while I brush my teeth, and then add the CeraVe hydrating moisturizer (the one in the tub), and let that dry for a while. I also use this time to exfoliate my lips about 3x a week with the elf lip exfoliator. Once the moisturizer sets, if I'm not going to be photographed with flash, I will add some sunscreen on my face, mostly in my t-zone.

At night I use the Yes! brand makeup remover pads to get all my makeup off, along with a Neutrogena eye makeup remover (don't remember the exact name). Then I use the CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer again before bed.

I am looking into some masks and lip conditioners, but I haven't gotten that far yet!

I've heard such great things about this and I've been dying to try it! Of course, please :P

I'd love this from eBay, or this if you are only using Amazon!

My ultimate guilty pleasure is watching trashy TV. Jerry Springer, Teen Mom, and Maury (you are NOT the father) are my favorites.

Sometimes ill even eat, like on the couch one of those microwaveable Tonys pizzas. That I cooked in the microwave blech but I always enjoy it at the time.

Thing is my fiancé always comes home when these shows are on, so it's embarrassing if he sneaks up on me watching them.

I really want a NYX eye pencil in Milk
however, I've just joined. So disregard that and just enjoy my absolutely hilarious face without one single spec of make up.

  1. I'm guessing reddit doesn't count. I'm also an on-again-off-again regular at The Pink Room, a chat board for fans of Ju-Ju-Be bags (mostly moms, but lots of nice people there).

  2. Ever since I was a very young kid, my choice birthday meal has been Steak 'Um Roll-Ups. Take Steak Ums, wrap them around stuffing, cover in gravy, mushrooms, and French's fried onions, and bake them. mmmmm

  3. Real Techniques Starter Set & NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese

  4. Some animals, including goats and octopi, have rectangular pupils!

Putting together an Effie Trinket original Halloween costume...

I am not good at creating outfits! I either go way too matchy matchy and don't realize that you can add in other colors, or I'm afraid of being too matchy matchy and it ends up all over the place. Here's my plan, thoughts? Advice?!

This dress with these glued on, not all over... thinking in a bunch on top left then spread out across torso, with more sporadic placement over the skirt.

This

These shoes or possibly these shoes with maybe some butterflies glued on or feathers or something?? (I'd wear heels but I'll be spending halloween with my toddler at a pumpkin patch!)

These gloves

Umbrella?!

These arranged in the wig as some sort of hair piece

I can't decide between these two eyelash options... option 1 - butterflies or option 2 - blue

Edit: I've been wanting to try this Jumbo Milk Pencil!

u/ilessthanthreepugs · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I don't pull faces, I only do professional photoshoots! You can see an example [here]

I would very much like to have this awesome eyepencil in milk, that is never available in good old Germany. Thanks for the contest <3

EDIT: my boyfriend forced me to delete this right after the contest was done, because he doesn't want to be embarressed for the rest of his life :(

u/BeeLovely · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I've always wanted the Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk, but for some reason (well it's popular so I guess it can be expected?) I can never find it in store! It's either always out of stock or the one time I held one in my hands...it was opened and had a brown smear on it.... I was so close darn it.

u/kleinePfoten · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

These are totally not the droids you are looking for, nope.

Nyx makes primers, which is what you probably have, but loads of people use the jumbo eye pencil in the color Milk as a base, which is what everyone is referring to: jumbo pencil in milk

spooky scary

I'm going as a CAT because a) I'm a cat lady and b) I have been a cat for 4 years in a row. GOTTA KEEP UP THE TRADITION! I'm going to try and make realistic face makeup (ex. CATS musical).

I am extremely frustrated by elf and its quality, sorry! The following is what i do when lazy but gotta head to work.

Suck it, redness and under eye circles and various discolored skin!

I get this at whole foods for like 14 usually. i know its not like the drugstore but i find this is great bang for buck

and the invisible powder to set here. I hear elf is making their brushes vegan soon so grab their kubuki brush, its like 4 bucks.

Sorry your gear got jacked, this should help keep you from being asked if you are tired all day;) My makeup tacklebox is more high end pro stuff thats vegan like Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics but the cheap shit gets you through the day fine:D
