  1. Feet enlarge as the day goes on, and it's very common for feet to be different sizes.^1 I'd suggest double checking your shoe fit near the end of the day. Other issues could be caused by the way you're standing. If your shop doesn't have any bar pads^2 make sure to get some. Lastly make sure you're in decent shape, not obese, exercise regularly, and give yourself adequate rest.

  2. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by an automatic machine. Could you expand on that? Regardless here are a few barista tips: when tamping espresso make sure to put the tamper in the middle of your palm. To find the spot make a straight line with your hand and forearm. Take your thumb of your opposite hand and find the area by the crease of your thumb by your wrist. There should be an area that you can perfectly rest a tamper. Always push from there because it puts less strain on your wrist and other joints. The second tip is to make sure you're not pinching your hand while steaming milk. My preference was to stick my three big fingers on the inside of the pitcher handle and to use my pinky on the outside to balance the pitcher. This is what felt most natural for my hand and caused the least stress.

Just found this sub for the first time and saw your post! I did what you're trying to do, but about a year ago.

  • I still play it on PS2 because it's what I played on back in high school and those memories were great. I don't want to play it any other way.
  • For cardio? Just play everything on Heavy, of course. If you cant' get a good cardio workout with DDR, I don't know what to tell you. Go do MAX300 on Heavy, twice, and report back.
  • Your TV should have RGB inputs. You should also be able to change your TV to 4:3 in the video settings. If not, a stretched DDR image isn't that bad.

Get DDRMAX and DDRMAX2, then consider getting others for PS2. For me, I got the Japanese version of DDR Extreme because it's pretty much a clone of the previously once DDR Extreme machines while the US version is really different. Lots of different songs and doesn't have the awesome song wheel.

I'm sure you can also find the songs and step files out there on the internet somewhere. I bought this dance pad because it works with PS2 and for PC (Stepmania). I then taped it to one of these. It's heavy and doesn't slide.

  • A standing mat because standing in the kitchen cooking/cleaning is hard on the back and these mats make it so much more comfortable. It's really amazing and makes life a million times better, especially if you have to stand a lot.
  • A dehydrator to make dried fruit, fruit leather, jerky, dried herbs... so many possibilities, and everyone will be really impressed when you pull out some homemade jerky. (Can you tell I like making food?)
  • Record players are coming back into style. Music records won't get lost when your computer crashes, and they'll outlive the singularity. And you can listen to music... while you make food!

All of these are on my Over $30 wishlist.

    Thank you for the contest!

Well what role do they have exactly. If they are retail, they could probably use a few things:

Pens: http://www.amazon.com/Zebra-Ballpoint-Pen-Retractable-29212/dp/B004WOAJP6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1426819458&sr=8-3

Stapler to save their wrists: http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Bostitch-Electric-Capacity-02210/dp/B00006JNU2/ref=pd_sim_sbs_op_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1P36SKYQNHS5S45VQPFG

Mat to save their feet: http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Step-Anti-Fatigue-Polyurethane-Length/dp/B00OFVJQRS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1426819677&sr=8-3&keywords=smart+step+mat

Kind of a range of prices as well, depending on how much you want to spend.

If they are a CPP or do a lot of clinical stuff then Epocrates Essentials is SOOOO useful, albeit a bit expensive (still less expensive then the alternatives and a lot better IMO).

I would put a freestanding hall tree against the wall beside the door or floating along the carpet line. Coat racks are fussy and I think you'll need something substantial as the kids grow up. Plus, you can usually add a lower second row of hooks (that kids can easily reach) on anything with a reinforced backboard.

Don't set the hall tree on the tile because your walkway is very narrow. Get one with built in storage so there is a place for the bags to sit on top and baskets underneath for accessories. This won't be used as seating, just bag and accessory storage. Open baskets on a shelf work best, no more than 2/3 of the shelf height so a hand can grab something inside without too much hassle.

Here's an open style with plenty of shelves for storing accessories:
HOMYSHOPY Entryway Hall Tree with Removable Hooks, Storage Shelves and Bench, Multipurpose Coat Rack for Hallway, Vintage Brown https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PR8LHVK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_artQDbX5XJG9W

Here are two more traditional ones that might work:
Crosley Furniture Seaside Hall Tree - Distressed White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MG6URP0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_FstQDbTC40RPM

Linon 76063ANT01U Santa Fe Hall Tree, 40" W x 17.99" D X 64.02" H, Natural https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010PBECF2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yttQDbMR8HG1X

Remove the coat hooks from the wall and line stacked shoe storage along the short wall, maybe a tray next to them since men's shoes and winter boots don't always fit the dimensions anyhow. Plus, it just looks tidy and is a good reminder for where shoes are allowed to go. I recommend keeping all shoe storage open because you want to keep your system painless for children or newcomers to use.

Personally, I like shoe shelves that aren't just the skinny bars because small shoes and heels don't stay on easily.

To match the first hall tree, 1 or two of these depending on space:
VASAGLE Shoe Rack, 5-Tier Shoe Storage Organizer with 4 Metal Mesh Shelves for 16-20 Pairs and Large Surface for Bags, for Entryway, Hallway, Closet, Industrial, Rustic Brown ULBS15BX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SJZJ7YK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4vtQDb470GXYV

Different styles:

MyGift Rustic 4-Tier Vintage White Wood Entryway Shoe Rack Storage Shelves with Handles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JYM9M5R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zBtQDb3JCZX2T

LANGRIA 4-Tier Metal Shoe Rack Utility Shoe Tower Shoe Organizer Shelf for Closet Bedroom & Entryway Bronze https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EJO9UP8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qztQDbN43B2HT

Boot tray options, but take measurements first:

Hudson Exchange 4010 Waterhog Classic Boot Tray, 34" L x 15" W, 3/8" Thick, Medium Brown https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TT8ESRK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mDtQDbHGWT34G

Ottomanson TRY400-30X15 Multi-Purpose Indoor & Outdoor Waterproof Tray, 15" x 30", Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LBL9XKE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_sEtQDb184SCKD

I would move the wood bench either behind the floating hall tree, floating in front of the hall tree against the wall, or along the wall by the other doorway if it stays in this area at all. You might need to play around with a few layouts and see what works, and if course measure and verify that everything works for you. The examples I linked are not vetted, only style suggestions and they might come in different sizes and quality ratings from other sellers.

Don't know how narrow your space is. Something like this is typically a reasonable call. Most of them can be trimmed to fit (with a utility knife).

~Good luck

u/brooks_silber · 2 pointsr/FTC

Pretty sure this is what we used: https://www.amazon.com/Dycem-50-1502PNK-Non-Slip-Material-Roll/dp/B071DWQ8XM/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=pink+dycem&qid=1573484111&sr=8-1

we just cut out the size we needed with scissors and attached it with carpet tape.

Hope this helps!

Years ago, I bought a DrumMat on sale for $35. It's nice that it folds up small and is lightweight, but I wouldn't ever spend more than $50 on a rug. Just make sure it has a rubber backing.

u/Akiravirus · 2 pointsr/Vive

[Xtreme Standing Mat] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IWZ8CZU?psc=1) Worth its weight in gold for every VR FPS. Dropping down to a knee is no problem.

It also is great for using as the center of your room. When you step away from the center of your room it is very easy to find again.

u/exjune · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

What about something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008VIO32Y/ref=twister_B00A49TG02 ?

While it may not cover the entire floor, it would be easy to make a paper template and then use the template to cut the flooring.

u/ChiefGamken · 2 pointsr/smallbusiness

We use these https://www.amazon.com/Wearwell-UltraSoft-Tile-Top-Anti-Microbial-Thickness/dp/B002PK0MV0/ref=sr_1_8?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1550439959&sr=1-8&refinements=p_n_feature_browse-bin%3A14430777011&th=1 . We have a few dozen of the 3' x 5' mats. They are extremely easy to clean and have no noticeable wear after several years.

edit: This is a manufacturing setting so you may be able to find a cheaper alternative, but these are extremely resistant to chemicals and corrosives.

u/fuzzyfuzz · 4 pointsr/sysadmin

I highly recommend a standing mat. Definitely cuts down on foot fatigue.

u/doug · 2 pointsr/comics

That's not unusual. I used to work as an usher tearing tickets and by the end I did not want to walk home. What you need, if you can get past the ridiculous name, is an Extreme Standing Mat.

u/WorstCaseONT · 2 pointsr/toronto

Do you protest? Do you stand? Do you need to take it to the next level?! NOW YOU CAN WITH OUR EXTREME STANDING MAT! For the low low cost of $135 and being forced to answer questions like "do you really need a mat to stand?", you too can stand...TO THE EXTREME....
