(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best die-cast vehicles for children

I would only lend a game out to someone I really trusted. So I didn't lend out my games very often.

I had a buddy Chris, who wanted to be a herpetologist when he grew up(PM me if this happens to strike a bell and anyone thinks they might be Chris). I knew he would take care of a game if I let him take it, although we often just played at each other's houses so we didn't have to borrow a game very often.

I remember once when I was younger, in grade school, I was playing NES games at another friend's house. His family was pretty religious so we were playing a bible game where you were Noah and you had to grab animals and throw them in the ark. While he was taking a turn playing I noticed a toy batmobile that was mine. I didn't want to embarrass him by confronting him about it, his family lived in the trailer park down the way and wasn't well off, so I just put it in my pocket and took it back home.

A few years later I found my batmobile. It was an identical model. I had actually stolen his batmobile. I had moved to a new state by the time I realized this and I always wished I could let him know what happened.

I really wish there was a more "regular" Hot Wheels GTI to be honest. Only one I could find was this which is just ridiculous looking. I know there's a few Golf models but I'd love a regular GTI/R.

the paint is actually pretty good.

Hot Wheels made a Retro Entertainment version, which was a larger casting than the forthcoming mainline. Apparently "1:50 scale" though if you consider the Animated series Batmobile would be HUGE if it were real, probably closer to 1:64 than the mainline
