You really cannot teach a rabbit not to do something. You can however teach that something she should do is better than something she should not do. Bunnies understand redirecting behavior and positive reinforcement.

Let me be more specific - he wants to jump on the bed and he will once he leans how to unless you block it off for him with an xpen type gate. But if you provide to him an alternative to jump onto like say his own bed and every time he wants to jump on yours you lead him to his own and reward with a treat or favorite green he will learn that it is better to jump on his own bed and not the big one. It's really the only way.

You can also get him a sturdy cat tree (not too tall))... bunnies like to jump teaching them not to jump is like if you tried to teach yourself to never do what you like... it won't work unless you find a better alternative.

1. Bunnies are smart and they need toys to entertain them and stay out of trouble. In the absence of good things to chew they will chew the other things - chewing and digging is their natural instinct, so the solution is not to spot them, but to provide alternatives specifically meant for them to chew and dig and to reinforce them using it. Bunnies are very food-motivated so you can use food to train them to do what you want them to do. :)
   
   
   1. I will mention some things to buy and make for toy for your bun below - don't think you need to get everything - start with some basic things and rotate toys to keep him interested. But the most important thing is reinforcing and redirecting. Bunnies unlike cats and dogs don't understand negative reinforcement or discipline at all, it scares them and actually leads to the opposite of desired results. But they do really understand positive reinforcement and build positive associations when you redirect bad behavior and reward good behavior. So you have to actively and diligently train the bunny overtime not to chew and dig the wrong things. Anytime you see digging or chewing, immediately try to offer a toy or some alternative instead and reward with a small treat when it works. This does need to be done very diligently each time you see him do things like that.
      
      So what to give as toys?

Hahah, we must have the same rabbit! Not chewing the chew toys is probably no big deal, as long as he's eating hay and getting his teeth checked at the vet regularly. We've never found a single chew toy or dig toy our rabbit had any interest in... And we've bought a lot. What he DOES love is hopping onto things! He's gotten onto couches, tables, TV stands, the top of his own cage. Yelling, clapping, stern voice never fazed him. What usually breaks him of the habit of jumping on a new place is giving him as little attention as possible when he does it. We'll gently shoo him off, then immediately turn our back and walk away. We also found him some toys that seem to satisfy some of that exploring urge: this two story house, this doll bed, and a cat tunnel to run through. If he really won't stop, we'll put up some kind of physical barrier he can't jump over. He has also gotten into our trash can (he went after a banana peel...), which we solved by getting a covered trash can, so maybe that's an option? Good luck with him! They can be really frustrating, but just remember they're all different and figure out what works best for your little guy =)

She was 16 months when we bought it, along with two big sister books and a Melissa and Doug brand bottle that has disappearing milk.

I made something like this last fall. Not as big and detailed, but similar.

There's a cheaper one that's pretty decent, but there was an SDCC exclusive one that I absolutely love and was unable to get. I can't justify buying it at what they're going for now, but there are still a bunch floating around out there if you're interested.

Which solid molds are you looking for? There are two kinds; the blind bags and the Gift Set.

Now the gift set is simple: It comes with AJ, PP, TS, Spike, and Tia. It also comes with a book though it's a bit... well it's pretty crappy, but it's there. Costs about $25 on Amazon.

The Blind Bags are a bit more complicated. In the UK BB ponies are sold individually (Like 2 euros each I think?) and have a few different ponies than the US BBs which are all sold in one big box only at Toy R US (Also $25 for 12 ponies) (edit: see update!).

Some notes:

• Gift Set ponies are roughly the same size as brushables. They can fit in and use most other pony stuff (such as Twilight's Balloon).
  
  
• Blind Bag ponies are SMALL. They're not going to look great on a shelf but they're good on a desk. However at least there's a full set of them.
  
  
• There are currently no plans to finish the Gift Set (So no RD, FS, or Rarity coming). However if you're somewhat crafty and not afraid of a dremel tool you might be interested in purchasing some molds from OtakuSquirrel

I was able to find a 4-pack of the new plastic-haired ponies with Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity and Pinkie Pie -- they look pretty good, and are in stock on Amazon right now. The older models with actual hair manes always looked a bit... creepy to me. Princess Celestia is the only one that pulls it off and looks like the new show. Of course, there's also that 4-pack of the new plastic-haired ponies with a strange-looking Spike, Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack that everyone knows about. Poor Fluttershy, left out in the cold again.

$75 is more than most mass-produced MLP toys cost, but less then most custom things, and it might be too late to order custom ponies anyway (good artists tend to have waitlists, I order what I want in summer to get that in time for Hearths Warming Eve).

I'd say that the coolest of mass-produced MLP collector toys are "Guardians of Harmony" series. I own a matching pair of Celestia and Nightmare Moon, for example:

The first toy (well, toys) I got was the gift set: it was (and still is, I think) the most accurate thing you can find, with the blindbag ponies. The only issue is that Celestia is pink, but there's no version of her in her show-accurate color available as of yet, unfortunately...

As for how I explain it to my family...They know I'm a fan of the show, and they understand that it's a good show. It's not much different than the other figurines I have from video games and other shows I enjoy.

 

As for an official Luna toy, there is one, even as a duo with Celestia, but, er...See for yourself.

Try building miniatures. I get kits on amazon. It’s kind of like creating a tiny world where you have all the control. You can smash it when you’re done! Or give it to a child (I’ve done both, though giving them away is much more satisfying...but smash one....also deliciously satisfying.

Its my escape. I also recently started these metal earth models, precut pieces (from 40-hundreds of pieces) and it’s been addictive as hell.

This is the first one I made greenhouse I’ve done north of 20 kits, each more customized than the last. I add my own accents, paint different finishes (learned how to make a crackle finish and wood grain texture). Fun and no need to leave the house. Sometimes you just want to be alone, ya know?

My mother-in-law does a bunch of crafty nik nak crap to raise money for mission trips and other activities/hobbies. Mostly she knits hats on one of those plastic circular looms. However, once in a while she uses leftover fabric from quilts to make "dammit dolls" which have similar instructions... Some random ponies come in those figure packs (example of the big pack on Amazon). I wish more relevant ones did, such as the CMC, princesses, spike, and discord. These are the only official merch (besides the DVDs of S1,2 and the movie) I have personally spent money on. I currently have this figure sitting on top of my thermostat. We have random figures of random stuff hidden around our house (Pokemon, Spiderman, Bionicles)

Everything else is either junk or doesnt fit the odd-ass peg sizes in the Black Series Figures feet. I've ordered them all and they all sucked except for the Kaiser doll stands-trust me.

My daughter at a similar age was terrified of RC helicopters, those flying screaming monkey dolls, the vtech wiggly sound ball toys, a Christmas elf my MIL displays every year, all dogs, and I’m sure there was more.

For Christmas I bought all of my siblings and husband the flying screaming monkey toy so on Christmas we had them flying across the house. Daughter just screamed and cried. We had to hide in her bedroom to escape the trauma of the monkeys. My brothers found it hilarious.

DH’s Grandparents gave her a toy similar to this Vtech wiggle ball and she hid anytime it turned on. In fact, if the toy made noise on its own in any way, she was utterly terrified of it.

The good news is that she’s now 8 and while she’s still kind of anxious and fearful of stupid shit, it has significantly lessened over the years.
