There are some very affordable burr grinders out there, and it's worth the investment. You'll use it pretty much everyday. Hand grinders can be very cheap, and work great. Hario Skerton is a popular choice (I've seen it around for cheaper, but this is at least what's on amazon). Plenty of options, all varying in price. There's a pretty decent burr grinder from Kona I've used before, which I got for like $20.

But manual grinding can take some time. And if you're like me, and you want some quick coffee in the morning, then it's worth investing in an electric. There are some pretty decent electric burr grinders out there. You really don't have to pay a fortune. Here are a few cheap options:

Capresso Infinity

Bodum Bistro

Baratza Encore

But you can get far snobbier than just grind...

What kind of water are you using? Hopefully filtered, not tap. And definitely not distilled, since you want some of those minerals for flavor. Now, if you want to get even fancier, try using these mineral packets. I think each packet mixes in with 1 gallon of distilled water. I haven't tried it myself (I just use a brita) but I've heard good things. The quality of water makes a huge difference. This was the first "eureka" moment for me, when I moved from tap to filtered.

Next, how are you making your coffee? There are some great, cheap equipment out there. In this sub, here are some pretty cheap and popular choices:

Aeropress

Chemex

Pour-over

French press

We're getting pretty deep in the rabbit hole, right? Not yet! How about measuring the weight of the coffee? Consistency is important. You need the same, proper coffee-to-water ratio for the best cup. You can find people debating over the best scales, some costing hundreds. I'd just get a cheap one if I were you. You can find some decent cheap ones from like $10 to $30. If you want the best bang for your buck, look into American Weigh Scales.

I guess I can mention temperature of water as well. You can get thermometers or even electric kettles with built-in thermometers (like this). I think temperature matters so much more for tea than coffee, but it's something you need to keep in mind for coffee as well.

Here's probably the most important thing, in my opinion: where are you getting your coffee? What is the roast date? Unless you're buying your coffee directly from the roaster, you're probably not buying freshly roasted beans. It makes a world of difference. Try finding a local roaster and getting your beans from them, freshly roasted.

I'm sure there's plenty of other ways you can splurge money on coffee, but I'll let you figure it out!

Never been to Sri Lanka, but I can help you with India.

The below is one of my comments from about 2-3 months ago where another Reddit user was travelling to Delhi and didn't know where else to go, hope it helps:

Most of it has been covered by fellow Redditors, I would only like to add couple of more things

After finishing your Red Fort trip, walk down to Jama Masjid (approx 20 min walk) and exit from the other side, it has one of most famous food street where you can get best Biryani ask anyone there and they will direct you to the correct place.

Because you are travelling to different cities and states I would recommend you to buy either Aquafina , Bisleri or Himalayan drinking water only. PLEASE make sure you purchase all your water supplies either from a superstore or a pharmacy otherwise you might end up purchasing a regular contaminated water in a packaged bottle, which will harm your health.

When you reach Delhi, go to a nearest Pharmacy and buy Odomus trust me you will need this the most as mosquitoes are everywhere in India.

You don't really need waste money either on jabs or vaccinations apart from Hepatitis A & B. If you have a friend who's a doctor or a pharmacist then please check with them. I assure you that they will second me in this.

Whilst in Kerela I would like you to visit tea gardens in Munnar

I hope you have one of the most memorable trip of your life, have fun!

If there is anything else you need help with then please message me and I will be happy to help.

Take care

I come from a Lebanese family and I absolutely love our rose flavored desserts! I've loved them so much that I try to incorporate it into some of my favorite American foods. I like making this simple syrup: http://foodtasia.com/atar-rose-water-syrup-qater/ You can drizzle it on pancakes, baklava, and use it as a finish for many desserts (you could easily use it as a glaze on top of your tart). This recipe might help you: https://www.afairerhouse.com/kitchen/2017/10/20/apple-rosewater-tart Just for fun, this is my favorite cake ever using rose water, I just made it this weekend: https://www.teaforturmeric.com/2016/12/lebanese-banana-cake-yogurt-rose-water/ We also have these fantastic sweets called malban that usually incorporate rose water into them, I found this description online: http://www.tasteofbeirut.com/lebanese-candies-malban/ You'll often see the pistachio-rose combination being used often in our culture. Out of the three you mention, we usually only use the rose water for baking purposes. As for rose syrup, we use that in a drink! We pour a couple tablespoons of rose syrup with some cold water and ice and drink that to cool off on a summer day. Hope this helps! An apple rose tart sounds delicious and would definitely be a great combo!

EDIT: I should also mention, my favorite rose water brand to use is Cortas! https://www.amazon.com/Cortas-Rose-Water-1-Count/dp/B00V8TRZG4

The 99 Cents Store usually has big plastic clamps that are perfect for hanging sheets. I've tried using the biggest binder clips I could find but they're slippery and my sheets would always slide right out when the wind picked up. You could also try wrapping the sheet around the pole and safety clipping the sheet to itself. You'll also want to secure/weigh down the bottom of the sheets so they aren't always billowing in your/your neighbor's campsite.

Battery powered string lights are great for lighting up the whole campsite. Mister bottles and big battery powered fans are fabulous in the afternoon. Having lots of water is nice because lugging water back from the refill stations is a pain unless you have a wagon. I bring a few cheap water jugs with spouts that work perfectly as a sink and I also leave one on top of the car so that I have hot water to rinse off with. Bring as many battery packs as you can! I went through my one battery pack in a couple days and it sucked going to the charging station and waiting in the sun for a couple hours since the charging was so slow. If you don't want to keep buying $10 bags of ice, use a second cooler with a layer of dry ice on the bottom and only fill it with ice and whatever food/drinks you want to be frozen. It'll stay frozen the whole weekend and you can transfer ice to your main cooler as needed.

It's nice to have some kind of place finder so you can easily spot your campsite from the end of the aisle when you're coming back. A lot of people have flags but I've used inflatable dinosaurs duct taped to the roof of my car, a giant pizza slice pool floatie tied over my windshield, and solar-powered color-changing lawn lights staked in front of my car. The dinosaurs worked the best!

Crest Whitening Strips

Apply it 1x or 2x a week to make it last longer instead of using it everyday, which could irritate your teeth and gums. The last time I used whitening strips was about 7 years ago. I drink coffee and soda almost everyday. As long as you maintain your dental hygiene, you'll keep the whiteness a lot longer.

Philips Sonicare toothbrush (or any other electric toothbrush)

Use at least twice a day. This will keep your teeth super clean, hence, whiter. I cannot go back to manual toothbrushes. It's amazing what a difference it does in cleaning your teeth. Do not skimp on your toothbrush if you want whiter teeth.

Sensodyne Toothpaste

Get sensitive toothpaste because whitening strips will make your teeth super sensitive. You don't have to get a whitening toothpaste. Those just use more abrasive ingredients, which doesn't necessarily make teeth noticeably whiter.

Water and Gum

Always try to rinse water after every sip of a drink and bite of food. If water isn't available, drink your beverages through a straw and/or chew a sugar-free gum. It doesn't need to be whitening gum - plus gum is just good to have around because many people don't realize they have unpleasant breath.

Floss

Every night. I did this for 6 months straight (I normally flossed infrequently — like once or twice a week) and had a perfect dental checkup after flossing everyday. The dental hygienist didn't even need to scrap off any plaque. This also helps make the sides/gaps between teeth whiter.

Listerine Mouthwash

Use weekly or as needed. I doesn't have to be whitening mouthwash. Do not use it everyday because it will create an imbalance of good bacteria and saliva which is essential for a healthy mouth.

Oh, and get a tan :)

Ok, the basics that you need:

  • water for you and your pets
  • non-perishable food for you and your pets
  • a handcrank radio/flashlight
  • any perscriptions you or your pets need
  • a first aid kit: immediate things you might have to deal with are profuse bleeding and broken bones. Buy a good, thorough first aid kit, and a first-aid book and keep them together.
  • a wrench by your easy-to-find gas line, so you can shut it off if there's a break in the gas line to avoid fire/explosions. A good system is to buy a wrench just for this purpose, tie it near the gas line, and have the gas line painted white, with red on the middle part (that you would actually grab and turn). You want to make this as intuitive as possible, so that if you're not home, hopefully a neighbor might come check your house and help you with this.

These are the basics, I went overboard and have a complete survival kit (for 10 people) and added more water and first aid stuff to that. Keep in mind, emergency personnel say that, realistically, in a major disaster, it could be up to two weeks before anyone comes by to help or check on you, so you need to be prepared to live on your own for that long.

As far as water goes, you need high-quality, opaque, food grade plastic. Ideally, you might buy a few 55 gallon drums, as you'll want water for two weeks for drinking, as well as washing your hands, etc. It needs to be stored away from light (which will encourage bacteria to grow), and be for long-term storage (milk jug plastic is not designed to be in use for long periods, and that plastic will start to break down). Obviously, if you're in an apartment, a 55 gal drum might not be for you, but there are other options. For example, you can buy these aqua blox that are supposed to be good for up to 5 years. Also, your hot water heater contains drinkable water, unless the water main breaks and starts to let in crap (so you might want to shut that off if you suspect it). You cannot drink pool water (unless you're on a salt system, in which case you must distill it first), but you can drink the water out of your toilet tank (not your toilet bowl - very different) so don't put those chemicals in your toilet tank! you don't really need blue toilet water, anyway.

So, back to sanitizing your water if you choose to fill your own containers. A standard is to use just the tiniest bit of sodium hypochlorite (5.25%, common bleach), let it sit for 30 minutes, and then drink it (off the top of my head, I think its 1 tsp to 1 gal, but you should check and write it down and keep it in your kit). You might also want to do that before you store it... some people say do it before you store it, others before you drink it, in an emergency, I would go with both. Make sure, though, that you don't get the bleach with any fragrance, gel-consistency, soaps, or other crap - straight, simple bleach, Iodine can also be used. The best I've seen though, is that these stay fresh for up to 1 year, maybe two. In an emergency, you can probably re-sanitize with bleach and be fine. However, I recently found this product and will be using this, instead, as it claims to keep the water good for up to 5 years. Might be wasting my money, but we'll see. For some reason, I've seen no websites, nor have the emergency personnel I've talked to, ever mentioned the little fizzing water sanitizers. I'll have to inquire next time if that's because these are not viable for true sanitizing, or because they, themselves have an expiration date. Bleach, as far as I can tell, does not.

Hope this helps. I think the bottom line is that you need to be prepared for way longer than most people think. I took a CERT training course last year (which I highly recommend, I learned A TON) and they said that most likely you'll be on your own for two weeks, which almost no one is prepared for. So, better to go overboard then get sick from dehydration.

Good luck and good on ya for being prepared!

Oh yeah I have never seen it in person but I've seen it posted on here and other places online. Supposedly it has some sort of mineral or some shit that makes it "more healthy" or some bullshit. I would probably try it just for kicks some time if it were available and not so expensive. I actually just pulled it up Amazon its called blk and has Fulvic Acid which makes it black. Its 45 bucks for a 24 pack so really not that expensive I guess compared to any other bottled water. The description is
>"Our proprietary blend of fulvic acid (a derivative of plant matter) is mined from an 80 million year old source deep within the earth. Naturally black in color, the formula binds to the molecules of our pure Canadian spring water giving blk its signature black color, with no artificial dyes, coloring, or additives. Fulvic acid is critical in the growth of plant life, helping the transportation and absorption of nutrients. Fulvic acid's small molecular structure allows for the fast absorption of over 77 different trace minerals and elements, powerful electrolytes, and antioxidants. "

It sounds like a bunch of buzzwords and doesn't really have any benefits besides looking cool but I understand with a product like bottled water the need to differentiate is vital especially since its pretty hard to stand out from the crowd with something people can get essentially for free from the tap.

u/ChefLinguini · 2 pointsr/nutrition

La Croix Lime water is some delicious stuff. No sugar, but it's not diet either. A little bitter, and very bubbly. Its great stuff! Here it is on Amazon, however it's probably cheaper at your local grocery store.

And one more Amazon link haha. This one I haven't seen locally. It's crystallized Lemon/Lime. Shelf stable--you just shake out however much you want. 1 teaspoon is equal to 2 tablespoons juice.

This stuff really is quite cool. The taste is nearly identical to real fresh squeezed juice. A teaspoon in my nalgene bottle makes the my tapwater delicious and covers the taste of chlorine.

u/m2b4 · 2 pointsr/AskReddit

Hey so I was in a similar situation as you. Basically I realized that soda is horrible for you and you should rarely drink it. Anyway...

An AMAZING alternative, as in, I drink 3-4 of these a day, is La Croix flavored sparkling water:

http://www.amazon.com/LaCroix-Lime-Water-12-Ounce-Cans/dp/B003WEC72A

You know at the grocery store they have all of these "flavored waters"? Yeah, well those all have some sort of sweetener (sugar, aspartame, splenda, etc). La Croix is just sparkling water and real fruit flavoring so there is just a touch of, say, lime.

I found this to be a really good alternative because I always drank soda because it was sweet and sparkling. La Croix tastes sweet and is sparkling, so it's perfect.

Hopefully this helps.

Lemon and Mixed Berry go on sale for $4.99 a 12 pack on Amazon fresh.

If you get something else on Amazon and don't mind waiting you can get a Fresh shipping credit for free. They take up 22% of cart so (4) 12 packs for ~$20 delivered to your house.

So many edits for clarity, sorry. And I also just looked at my number and saw today is year 2. Sweet.

Have you ever heard of [Hi Balls?] (http://www.amazon.com/Hiball-Energy-Sparkling-Water-Variety/dp/B00CE4CRG0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1396567799&sr=8-2&keywords=hiball+energy+drinks)

They are really delicious [I'm partial to the grapefruit myself] and have no calories. It's basically flavored caffeinated sparkling water. Some of them do have some sugar, but look a the label. I also feel like it is the most even caffeine. Coffee makes me jittery. I have it & then feel like I've got the shakes afterwards too. This is a good boost.

u/mirkalieve · 1 pointr/gundeals

As someone who's tuned into deal sites: Yes, to some degree. But there's still plenty of good deals to be had. Especially when things don't go as planned. Don't you remember last year's Xbox One debacle? We're talking a free xbox one, and possibly additional credit, on top of extra controllers and games.

I also apparently got 24 bottles of VOSS Norwegian water this year for $3, and that stuff is supposed fancy or something. Ordered that for giggles.

Someone else got a Mini Segway for $160 iirc.

I nabbed one of their Big & Tall (up to 350lb) Office Chairs for $100, which isn't bad.

As for Prime Pantry? For some reason I keep getting a Fresh Credit of $6, no idea why, and that stacks with the $10 off $60 credit, so I can find some choice pantry items that are decently priced and get $16 off, and stack it with free shipping. And that's on top of the 5% off with my Amazon Store Card. I did four full orders, and my mail person hates me now.

Prime Day is not Black Friday. Black Friday is a day of both Purchases of Opportunity and Planned Purchases, due to general price cuts on everything (To some degree... Cyber Monday and beyond is where it's at currently at based off last year). Prime Day is only Purchases of Opportunity, as the thing you've wanted probably won't go on sale, but chances are if you check the deal sites enough you'll find things that you'll buy anyway because they're cheap enough.

Sidenote: This is what you guys should being paying attention to: Lowe's 10% off, which stacks with 10% Self-generated coupon codes (see top comment), which stacks with 7.5% cashback through ebates.

Last summer I bought most of the tonic syrups I could find, and made my own tonic by mixing with club soda (made in my Sodastream of course!)

My favorite of them all was Tomr's, followed closely by Jack Rudy's.

I like the Jack Rudy Elderflower version with Genever.

I'm still interested in making my own tonic syrup, though. If I could come close to Fevertree, without the Fevertree cost, I'd be very happy!

  1. Spend around $100 on Dasani bottled water, which for me would equate to around 100 liters. (On Amazon, the price it says for me is $2.70 after shipping, and there is around 2.72 liters of water in those 8 bottles in total, so around 1 dollar per liter)
  2. Wear the water like armor around your body (Since you can manipulate water, you could probably also make the water stay frozen in place, making it basically indestructible)
  3. Wear the armor around you until you can do it in your sleep
  4. Manipulate all the Dasani bottled water in the world (There's probably at least a good million liters in the world, since as long as the water has been through a Dasani manufacturing plant before, it counts as being "From Dasani bottle water")
  5. Take over the world with your 1 million liters of water
  6. Threaten countries into funding Dasani bottled water, else they be destroyed
  7. Fix world problems like ocean pollution, global warming (You can fix global warming cus you can just cool the water down), global dehydration, droughts, etc.
  8. Take money from countries that are dedicated towards war, and put it towards funding for medical research and research into immortality (People don't need armies anymore since you can forcefully create world peace)
  9. Assist humanitarian efforts, help keep ecosystems in balance, help advance technology, and create infinite energy
  10. Eventually convert every drop of water on Earth into Dasani bottled water
  11. Eventually become immortal
  12. Rule the world forever

To be safe, buying a new bottle regularly seems like the best course of action. Fortunately the cooking rose water is very, very cheap ($5-8 for 10oz): https://www.amazon.com/Cortas-Rose-Water-Product-Lebanon/dp/B00V8TRZG4/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474137424&sr=8-1&keywords=cortas+rose+water

u/Shabooya-Rollcall · -6 pointsr/nottheonion

You should get a hydro flask instead of reusing a plastic bottle, which breaks down and leaks into the water over time. That's why water bottles have expiration dates: the plastic breaks down and contaminates the water.

edit: looks like you all have never seen this bottle in stores. Yes, VOSS comes in plastic. Seems like the sparkling water is the one that comes in glass.

i started doing some research on sparking water. if you don't mind amazon, then this looks like a good deal

or this https://www.amazon.com/EXOTICS-Sparkling-Water-Strawberry-12-ounce/dp/B00VWH5SSO/ref=sr_1_9_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482635289&sr=8-9&keywords=sparkling+water but i fucking hate nestle and wouldn't buy anything they sell.

maybe also this https://www.amazon.com/Poland-Spring-Sparkling-Water-Variety/dp/B00PGXQA78/ref=sr_tnr_p_13_5782442011_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1482635289&sr=8-13&keywords=sparkling+water

have to do the math to see which is the best deal. although poland spring is owned by nestle. but whatever. i realized my love for sparkling water might surpass my hate for nestle.

u/MasterK999 · -20 pointsr/pics

I am going to call BS on this. When any store sells a bottle of water for 1.78 they did not buy it marked for individual sale. They buy by the case and that case costs them like $10. There is a huge markup on beverages like this. They could sell these for case prices instead of as though they were individual bottles. For reference Amazon sells this case for $22. So this is literally double that cost.

u/fuzzyaces · 2 pointsr/Celiac

I didn't put it in the previous. But what I was thinking of in tonic was this (Tomr's Tonic Syrup). It's a concentrate, so he or she could adjust the strength to the desired level. I know exactly what you're referring to with things like Schweppes.

I guess the flavored water I drink is closer to soda than water. It's sweetened with sucralose. Here's what I typically drink: https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-SignatureTM-Sparkling-Variety-24-pack/dp/B00KGX68Z2

I've tried flavored waters with light orange/lemon/etc and it's just not for me. I like the sweet stuff because it's my sweet fix for the day.

You might could take that ginger syrup and replace the ginger with a dried fruit? Something that grates easily... maybe blueberries?

u/realmp06 · -1 pointsr/lyftdrivers

Those amenities will only cost one like $10/month or less. My gosh are you that cheap? Once can get 8 bottles of Dasani water for $2.98 per 8 which typically last me 2 weeks, though I order 4 at a time and two big bags of Lifesaver, which will last one for like 5 months for $15.

You get it at Costco. It's just Kirkland is the least expensive option that's not gross. It's pretty decent. This stuff tastes like regular diet soda. It's not at all like the zest of lemon/lime stuff that isn't very sweet at all. It comes in a pack of 24 in three flavors. Kiwi strawberry, orange mango, a blackberry. (All of the flavors are good and I am not a blackberry or raspberry fan)

Most grocery stores carry similar stuff. It will be with the health food or with the soda/bottled water. Most of the time, it's a little more expensive.

[Here] (https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-SignatureTM-Sparkling-Variety-24-pack/dp/B00KGX68Z2) is an Amazon link to the product. The price at Costco is $8-10. So, don't buy it there.

People are saying tea, but the red you'll get from that is likely not going to match a Spanish red if it has no caffeine.

I'd say start with a hibiscus tea and darken it with this:

This water is great for this effect.

Every day I drank a lot of water and always had a cup or a bottle handy. I also drank those zero-calorie sparkling iced waters like this when I needed some carbonation and flavor to mix things up.

I am offering a pack of water to a pack of water comparison. I am also offering home depot pricing to home depot pricing. Sorry you couldn't see that.

Unless of course you can provide objective evidence that Dasani water is vastly different than Niagara water and deserves the greater price since it truly is a apples to oranges comparison.

It has been my experience and yours may be different but essentially all bottled water is the same.

Edit: But hey Amazon has Dasani available by the 24 pack. Pricing is also different than what is pictured.

You could probably put in a brand new in-ground pool for that price.

EDIT: Let's say the pool holds around 5,000 gallons, a pretty conservative number for a DIY above ground pool. Each bottle of water of, let's go with Fiji, is going to cost around $1.33 per 16.9 oz. bottle. There are 640,000 fl. oz. in 5,000 Gallons. Therefore, you would need 37870 bottles to fill up the pool. At $1.33 per bottle this is $50,367.10. According to this website, most in ground pools will run you from $25,000-$50,000, so you could buy a high-end pool with the amount of money it would take to fill that dingy pool with Fiji.

Coffee drinkers: Has anyone used a product like Third Wave Water to manage the minerals in the water? I was hoping to try an individual serving before I buy a lot of it.

Addendum: I am not suggesting the water here is bad (quite the contrary). If you look at the product information, you'll see that it adds minerals to water like the coffee shops do, and this enhances the flavors in the coffee. It's just a bougie white lady thing, not essential.

It's $14 bucks for a 24 pack on Amazon. I don't know why people think it's expensive.

You are going to need quite a few of these:http://www.amazon.com/Aquafina-Pure-Water-16-9-fl/dp/B0042YSWLE/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1331171929&sr=8-9

Otherwise use a hose, if you don't have a hose, I can suggest a good site to order one from. LMK

u/loonifer888 · 9 pointsr/pics

Well on Amazon it's 32 dollars so that's hardly "gouging". Fiji is one of the most expensive bottled waters there is.

I used to looooove soda, and it was getting unhealthy, much similar to your situation. I weaned myself off by going to the zero options of sodas (sprite zero, cherry coke zero, etc) and then i moved to sparking flavored waters like Ice carbonated water .. it gives you the feeling of soda without the negative after effects, [Heres the Sparkling Ice I am Talking About] (http://www.amazon.com/Sparkling-ICE-Variety-Pack-17oz/dp/B00F9VCQ2A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451314737&sr=8-1&keywords=sparkling+ice+water)

You can get it through Amazon (the one I have is Cortas); just make sure you get one for cooking purposes, not beauty!

Like some of the comments have stated, RO water straight out of a unit like this will leech some of the flavors from the coffee upon contact. There's a few ways to get around this. Personally, I use a ZeroWater filter to get the TDS as low as possible (RO wasn't an option in the apartments I have lived in), and then I remineralize the water after I collect it. There's a few ways to do this, but personally (and apparently very unpopularly in this sub) I use the product Third Wave Water. For me, it's just the most convenient thing to do, but you can check their ratio of minerals and buy in bulk for cheaper.

  1. Cilio 4 is not a V60. Like u/vailman said, A V60 is a specific pour over cone made by Hario
  2. regarding your meh results, assuming you've dialed your weights/pour technique/water temp, your next step is to check your water hardness.

Quick easy fix is getting distilled water, and add minerals to it... I personally just use a basic (Pür) water filter because it's convenient and simple.

I'm not saying it's cheap but it says $19.99 on Amazon.

I mostly wing it, lol. The rose waterrose water is food grade, and I like adding about 1/3 volume distilled water or it seems a little overwhelming- not stinging, just the scent and flavor. The vegetable glycerin is also food grade, I basically mix up the rose water/distilled water and add small dollops of glycerin which I shake and test until I like the feel.

All ingredients are inexpensive enough that I don’t worry about wasting it. The key difference between my homemade version vs the one I see commercially is that there are no essential oils added, it tends to irritate my EXTREMELY sensitive skin.

In addition, I find it to be less drying than HA if left alone on my skin. With HA, I must immediately add an occlusive (squalane for me, it’s the only thing that doesn’t trigger milia on my fussy face). I also like using my homemade mist as a body spray, sometimes alone, sometimes with squalane or argan oil over it.

Caveat - I do not wear any makeup, so not sure how well it would play with foundation etc. I do use sunscreen, either Anessa Mild Milk or Canmake Mermaid UV and both work fine, no weird pilling etc.

If you just want the black color, you might want to look at blk water. It just has black coloring and is supposed to be tasteless.

I'd go on a road trip and drive an hour or so to stock up on water, where it isn't sold out, and place a few orders on amazon.

> Oi?

>f you dont think water won't sell at $3/gal, you're dreaming.

It's already selling for over twice that a gallon.

(assuming my math is right)

24 16.9oz bottles = 405.6oz

405.5/128 = 3.168 Gallons

3.16 * $7 = $22.18

(price of water $22.56)

u/Dark__Defender · 1 pointr/gifs

No, this cheap ($28.49/24 bottles = $1.20 per bottle)

I can buy a 24 pack of 16oz water bottles at a retail store for $4 on sale.

http://www.amazon.com/Arrowhead-Spring-Water-Count-16-9/dp/B000R5NRPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408294151&sr=8-1&keywords=water

4000/24 = (approximately) 167 packs

167*4= $668 spent (maybe. I'm sure you can get them much cheaper buying bulk directly from the manufacturer)

The worst part is that those bottles are so tiny that they won't even be good for storage.

Hummus and pita are always good, though ANY dip has the potential for messy disaster in the bag or on the books. Granola or protein bars, veggies, packs of turkey lunch meat and pita, cheeses. If you get a small plastic container it might mitigate some of the squish factor in a full bag. For drinks you might look into powdered mixes in individual serving straws and a quality water bottle. As has been mentioned: if you really need that fizz in your drink you can either get sparkling water like LaCroix or at least in the States here there are fizz tabs that will lightly carbonate and flavor a water bottle.
