I got some links for you fam:
That is wonderful how much you want to help and support her; she will definitely appreciate it.
These are what I use:
Blanket: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008BF2392/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mattress Topper: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G72DN63/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
What is nice about that mattress topper is it has 2 zones so you can heat one side of bed without having to heat other side. The mattress topper is also great at soothing all-over body aches since you're laying on top of it; feels amazing to crawl into after a long day.
There's also a really good book about Fibro, written by a doctor who has the disease herself. It's laid out in easy to understand language and includes both conventional and alternative treatment methods. The book is a must-read for sufferers, their loved ones, and even their health care providers. My review of this book would be: Before reading the book, I was genuinely ready to kill myself because I felt it was hopeless to try and cope with this disease for another 50+ years. Reading her book I've been able to find ways to improve my circumstances and now feel motivated to fight the disease as several of her methods have already made a huge difference in my life. https://smile.amazon.com/FibroManual-Complete-Fibromyalgia-Treatment-Doctor/dp/110196720X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=GYD3ZCYHN0PS&keywords=the+fibro+manual+by+ginevra+liptan&qid=1569526359&s=gateway&sprefix=the+fibro+ma%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-1

Some pics. All I've made is little peanut butter goober-failures and one really sad looking calibration cube. No pics of those, but can share my method, pics of my build, and my why.

I used an open source syringe pump mounted on a piece of plywood, which itself is mounted to my 24x36'' MPCNC like this.
For E0 I used a cheap china 12VDC silicone heater mounted on this custom print with a spare cheap thermistor under it to regulate. This made the build a drop in tool for the MPCNC (or any 3dprinter really) @ $67.00. The idea was to accurately distribute hash oil concentrates into little vape canisters on industrial scale and minimum budget using opensource platforms. Works amazingly, just like the 10k machines... One of those pictures is the array I placed hot peanut butter in to demo accuracy, next to the original extracts jig. With the MPCNC itself, the whole thing costs less than 300 bucks.
I made a little nozzle step-down out of ptfe tube, and have been screwing around with peanut butter ever since the hash oil guy that I was showing off for lost interest.
So far only with JIF creamy onto normal old glass and mirrors with no coatings.
Cold peanut butter holds its extruded shape well, but wont stick to itself. Prints a perfect mess. Nothing else.
Warm peanut butter smells great and prints a perfect mess. Nothing else.
Room temp to slightly chilled seems to be the sweet-spot. I actually got a calibration cube to sooooorta print, but my nozzle is .5mm so it eventually turned into a square pile of extruded peanut butter. I ate it...... and called the peanut butter printing a success.
I've heard frosting is way easier.
No picture worthy print results yet. OP is way ahead of me in the results department. You're killin it, dude.
This is what i used for the heating pad although any size or type will work, some have embedded temp probes and 3M adhesive backing to make things a bit easier. Ebay has an awesome selection of silicone heating pads. This temp controller works very well for the money and wiring is very easy, however pad wattage must be kept under 120w for this controller as the internal relay can only handle 10A. Edit: I do want to add that power supply for a low wattage pad like the one listed can be from any 12v @ 2a household power brick with the end cut off, however higher wattage pads may require a higher powered 12v psu. If you use higher powered silicone heating pads it's better to go 110v due to amp requirements at 12v. My solution above is just the entry lvl budget version. If you wanted to, you can go full in with a PID temp controller, high amp PSU and high quality heating pad with internal thermometer to achieve pinpoint temps but something simple like heating a glass syringe really doesn't need that. I wrapped the pad around my syringe, tucked the temp probe included with the controller in the wrapped roll and gave it a good once over with duck tape. The syringe slides in and out like a sleeve to use it for different things like filtering and when i need it heated you just slide it back in your homemade sleeve and your good to go.
Have you tried an electric foot warming pocket like this one? I've had a bit of the same problem, but not as bad, and was thinking about getting one. It can be used in bed or seated, and the reviews look promising.
I've been getting by wearing warm socks all the time like you, even in bed, and warm Acorn slippers. I especially like these Acorn Versafit fleece socks, they're as warm for me as thick wool ones but not as bulky, so I can wear them with slippers, and they have flat, non-rubbing seams for safety. Be careful ordering the size, though, they're not stretchy like normal socks, more like felt booties.
Welcome to the frozen north and brace yourself - winter straight up sucks. Here are some things that will make it better!!:
These bad boys will keep you from falling on your butt when you're walking on icy roads and parking lots.
A heated mattress pad will keep your bed nice and toasty warm! Sanctuary!!!!
In a similar vein, a heated throw blanket will keep you warm while you're on the couch. The great thing about heated mattress pads/throw blankets/etc. is that it keeps you warm without you needing to turn the heat up, using less heating oil. And using less heating oil is a GOOD THING!
They aren't sexy, but long underwear are effective at keeping the cold at bay.
Chintzy cotton socks aren't gonna cut it anymore. Invest in some solid wool socks. Yes, they cost a lot, but they are worth their weight in gold!
Don't worry - you'll make it :)
Consider a very small electric heater. You shouldn't need to use it a lot, and a very small amount of electricity should go a long way here. Couple it with a marine battery and it should last you for days, if you don't leave it on when it's not needed.
Edit: It strikes me that a decent electric blanket would be an awesome solution. It's exactly the right size, puts out a good amount of heat for that amount of space, and they come in both AC and DC varieties. Just turn it on half an hour before you plan to go to bed, and I bet your trailer will be toasty warm by the time you're ready for it.
Edit 2: For example, this Queen sized electric blanket produces about 560 BTUs/hr, takes about 15 minutes to warm up, and has an auto shutoff feature.
A busy mom on the go could use a change in how she drinks water
This cooling eye cover might relieve stress and headaches
Don't forget oils to go with an essential oil diffuser. Perfect for making bed time relaxing
Enjoy those few precious moments of quiet coffee in the morning watching birds
Winter is coming
A smidge over budget, but warm towels after a shower are revolutionary
I put one of these in my bathroom where the kitty litter goes, kids can make bathrooms smell just as bad
GET RID OF TUPERWARE, REUSABLE ZIP LOC BAGS ARE PERFECT FOR A SOCCER MOM
Lets face it, everyone could use new towels
boil water for coffee or tea instantly
Always on the go, a portable charge is needed. Don't forget a cable to go with it
Massages on the go
Hope at least one of those help!
I first started vandwelling in the dead of New England winter - our first night in the van was 15 degrees F! (-9 C). A couple of things that I found helpful to make it more comfortable (until we were able to drive South to warmer weather):
Oh the great Midwest winters bwhaahahahaha

Here are a few items that might help.

Electric Blanket - We have the one that fits on the bottom mattress then you put the bottom sheet over it. Dial that F&*&& up before bed and you will be warm

Or you can go with the top blanket if you can't find one that will fit a dorm bed

Cloths - Duluth trading company - This shit is pricey for a college student, but ask for Christmas presents. The great shit about this stuff is that it is quality and will last you for years. Duluth MN is up north and its cold AF ... Look for wool socks, flannel shirts and jackets. Dont forget long underwear! They even have a Christmas list where you pick the stuff out you want and e-mail the list to family

Stay warm my skinny friend - Summer is only 7 months away
Brace yourself and get a heated blanket. It's the best thing I ever did! Thanks for the contest. :)
2015 and 2016 were rough for me during winter since I hadn't been diagnosed yet. I spend a considerable amount of time outside at work. And I didn't want to crank the heat in my home and toast friends/family so here's what I used to cope:
I got a nice warm down comforter for my bed.
A heated throw blanket to use around the house.
Zippo hand warmer for times outside.
And thermal under garments. Top. Bottom.
I've also had a Presto heat dish for a number of years. I think I paid $60 at Costco but the going rate seems to be double that now. It's nice because it directs the heat at you rather than warming an entire room.

Price depends on the size you need yo. I've never used one because I like the cold feeling I get in bed and warming up really slowly with a comforter or whatever.
The new, low-energy electric blankets are pretty nice. This one is $40:

If you're okay spending about $33, I guarantee that a heated throw blanket would go over like gangbusters. They're my go-to gift for these types of things and people always go nuts for them.
Edited for code borking.
Does she mention getting cold in the hospital? I have this really nice electric blanket shawl thing and it was the best money I ever spent

Wonderful little things you use when you live in an colder area. I live in Minnesota and i have 2 electric blankets.
It's perfect for when it's a bit chilly inside but you don't want to turn the heat on quite yet.

I found a relatively old-school one on Amazon. It does still seem to time out after 10-12 hours (as a safety feature), but if you schedule the plug to turn off, that resets it.
It's on an Alexa-controlled plug, but it basically just runs on a schedule.
Target has lot of warm looking blankets in your price range
For heated blankets, my (very spoiled) cats had this blanket (until we moved to a house with proper insulation)
This!! I got this as a gift and it is a life saver.
I have some Uniqlo Heattech socks, I wear those around when I'm at home.
I'm in the rainy cool Pacific Northwest. I have a furnace, car heater, space heater at work, heated throw, heated blankets and mattress pad, thermal underwear, and two portable lap warmers usually known as "dogs."
And I love it here. But I also came here to complain about the pain intensity that disturbs my sleep and gets me thinking very dark thoughts.
Hang in there!
Anyone ever rig one of these up?
This is what I got, and woooooow its so relaxing a pain relieveing. No drugs needed for me when I use this.
