I'm probably too late, but some ideas!

The mug is a cute idea, I love these "Surprise Mugs"

We don't know which country you or she is from, but it might be nice to get hers something small from her country (or something from your country that's super distinct if she's very excited about living there).

For instance, if she is from Germany, you could get her some Hanuta -- I know when I moved away from home, it was very comforting to get reminders from there.

Or if she's from Belgium, Stroopwafels might be nice to go with tea! Just something small that represents her home.

As for relaxation items (which seems to me to be one of your best options seeing as your ultimate goal is to help her relax, right?), I have a few:

Gong for her desk at work?

A zen "Desktop Garden?"

A Buddha Board for work?

A little desktop fountain?

A diffuser for at home (SUPER relaxing, but you'd also need essential oils)?

Or even a necklace diffuser?

/u/intoxikate is awesome like... really awesome.

The best thing I can think to tell you is that PUMPKIN CIDER is in the Bevmo near my house right now!!!! I'm seriously excited about this.

I like using these from my misc wish list for making my house and toilet smell good. Did you know lemongrass smells very similar to Fruit Loops?

u/_metanoiia · 1 pointr/moderatelygranolamoms

Sure thing! Always happy to help others experience essential oils, they're life-changing. Here's a link to a good beginner set on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002RSMAD8/ref=mp_s_a_1_9_a_it?qid=1462922755&sr=8-9&keywords=eden%27s+garden+set

Let me know if you have more specific questions about individual oils or recipes/uses. :)

u/GrwnUpPonyo · 4 pointsr/sexover30

I have 3 of this humidifier in my house. The kids use the light as a night light and I like it for the ambiance occasionally. I also bought this set of essential oils to go with it; just a few drops at every use and it humidifies and smells nice. I use the lavender and orange the most and have reordered larger bottles of that. Eucalyptus is great for when we're sick. I think I'm going to get a much bigger one that will last all night. This one is only good for a couple of hours.

For shoes, I just have a LOT. At least 50 pairs of my own. IKEA has some very inexpensive options that look like furniture. I use a similar one to this in the family area for the most commonly used. I use under-bed storage for boots and seasonal shoes. I use [these closet hangers] for most of my heels. And yes, that's still not enough.

u/Lil_MsPerfect · 3 pointsr/breakingmom

Those are crap, I have one of these and one of these and a couple sets of essential oils from this company, and they make every room in my house smell fantastic. You put some water in the bowl of the diffuser, and some drops of oil, and it lasts for days. Way better than candles for how far they throw the scent, and they don't burn anyone or the house down. If he just wants the light to flicker like candlelight, I have these and they work great for mood lighting while not burning the house down as well.

u/dirtypeanut · 1 pointr/52weeksofbaking

Thanks! And the key lime oil is fantastic. I got this starter pack: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00NDB5DEQ

I've been using them in everything :D Great replacement for juice or zest.

u/Whirlingturl · 3 pointsr/minipainting

I use two of these for all my paints. They fit the bottles perfect, have a hard top, and have a handle. They're amazing!

u/whatrosasaid · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I think I may get this tripod, so I can do more video stuff with my phone. Wholesome video stuff. Comedy stuff. dig the whole deeper, Rosa.

But I'm also eyeing this paired with this so I can start focusing relaxing at home, and maybe it'll convince me to clean my room. MAYBE.

u/Praise_the_boognish · 3 pointsr/Weakpots

> Which is your favorite?

Cedarwood and lemongrass right now. Those and copaiba with coconut oil for a carrier is what I'm using on my beard currently. I just ordered some Sandalwood and Jojoba oil, so we'll see how those go. I like cinnamon, rosemary, clary sage and orange combo around Xmas time.

In a couple months it's gonna all about the woodsy, citrus vibe. I've got lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, bergamot, spearmint and peppermint, tea tree and eucalyptus already. I'll play with those and see what combo I like. This is the set I originally bought that got me started.

u/Lt-SwagMcGee · 1 pointr/LifeProTips

Its both. This is the one I have at home.

You can get cheaper ones on Amazon like this one.

As for essential oils, I find that lemongrass, eucalyptus and tea tree oils emulate a Thai massage parlor the best. These are the ones that I use. You only to add 2-5 drops each time so a small bottle can last you a really long time.

u/pmrp · 2 pointsr/fragrance

I have one of these ultrasonic water misters vs the more expensive, but apparently more effective nebulizers that mists pure oil.

I’m still messing around with the right scents and amounts, but have tried a variety of essential oils to varying effects. A word of caution, as explained in the linked article, regarding kids, pets, and asthma. I personally experienced an incident where my dog had a severe asthmatic reaction to citrus oils I was diffusing. Needless to say, that halted my diffuser experimentation for some time.

I actually wonder whether using wearable fragrances (and their higher amounts of synthetics and IFRA regulations) would be safer then all-natural essential oils. For example, my boys had horrible eczema when we used to bathe them with an all-natural/organic/free-range/kosher/virgin/blah-blah lavender soap. Turns out, they were extremely sensitive to lavender essential oils. Our dermatologist explained that an all-natural oil contains thousands of potential allergens, whereas a synthetic lavender is usually only composed of a few molecules, thus lowering your chances of sensitivity. This, combined with the ongoing IFRA regulation on ingredients (which I don’t think essential oils are subject to?), makes me think it the safer path.

Can anyone say definitely (with science!) that using wearable fragrances with diffusers is better or worse than essential oils?

u/Lizziedeee · 1 pointr/BravoRealHousewives

If any of y'all are into essential oils, this is a pretty good sale. Plus, if you need a diffuser you can get $5 off one (info is on the right side of the page). I just recently started using them. Helps with headaches, anxiety and just good smelling.

I also find it difficult to find a good-looking diffuser that can match my house well. Now i'm using a diffuser from MIU COLOR, i love the Shallow Wood-Grain, the color can well match my room. I think you can try it on Amazon.

if you like vicks, i highly highly recommend HONG THAI TRADITIONAL THAI HERBAL

this stuff is amazing, puts vicks to shame.

u/ceebee6 · 4 pointsr/GiftIdeas
u/MakingBiscuits · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

I initially bought this sampler pack when I purchased the diffuser and I really like the lemongrass and orange and have since bought more of them. The tea tree and eucalyptus both smelled like cleaning products to me and I didn't use them much.

u/DASHLEAL · 1 pointr/NoPoo

I got this starter pack over the holidays last year. I like all of the oils that come in it. It doesn't take much. Just about 5 drops should do it.

u/Ihreview · 1 pointr/ProductTesting

There you go. I am trying to get my $5 back. Let's see if the seller will even refund me without asking me for a positive review.

http://www.amazon.com/Relaxory-Essential-Lavender-Jasmine-Cranberry/dp/B01B6PUQV0/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

u/Gaming_Gal · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Oooh I have always wanted one of those. I have tried one at a friend's house and never really got to buy one. Aromatherapy is really relaxing to me and uh FLAX. And for fabric any polka dots or anything lime green is preferred if not, totally ok :D

u/kuntsnuggles · 2 pointsr/DIY

DO NOT use home fragrance oils, they're meant to be burned it's not good for your skin at all. Those could work for candles though. Not well, but they work.

try stuff like this http://www.amazon.com/Aromatherapy-100%25-Therapeutic-Eucalyptus-Lemongrass/dp/B005IHJ556/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406129982&sr=8-1&keywords=essential+oil

u/sunshinenfundip · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

what about these? I think the strawberry and the cucumber would be nice too

u/rexmons · 10 pointsr/AmazonTopRated

I'm curious why you didn't link these oils, that have an average of 4.5 stars out of 7,873 reviews and instead linked ones that have 4.2 stars out of 12 reviews?

u/Jenn1555 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Just Breathe!

Aroma Therapy Kit Its highest priority on my wishlist. It fits this catagory because I use scents to calm myself down

u/AtHeartEngineer · 2 pointsr/beards

Try using wildman instead of blue beards stuff.

I ordered both on amazon and tried them out. Wildman I think is much better.

As far as the ingrown hair, I only offer advice found on webmd. See if you can cut just that one hair, let it die and hopefully fall out. If that doesn't work, maybe it is time to go see a doc, just tell him under no circumstances can he shave your beard and he is going to have to work around it.

Also, a picture would be appreciated, for science.

u/kitrichardson · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

Really? This is the one I'd recommend (you want cold-pressed organic jojoba). That's 12 euros for 100ml, and it'll last you for about 2 months (really.. you only need about 6-7 drops each time you use it) x

u/Jackson_1701 · 1 pointr/essentialoils

I didn't bought oils from this company, i just bought oils from the Lagunamoon

u/HeroOfCanton · 1 pointr/beards

I just use the Wildman Beard Tamer oil. Check out the links in the sidebar, theres a DIY recipe there.

u/tyron3 · 1 pointr/amazon

This says "low quality reviews", not Fake Reviews. Tested: http://www.amazon.com/Fabulous-Frannie-Essential-Beginner-Starter/dp/B00LNN0RLK

u/chrrie · 2 pointsr/AskWomen

I got this diffuser and these oils. No issues with either other than the oils smell too delicious. It's all good though, I'm passing them on to my mom who has trouble eating enough due to a recent surgery, so it kind of all worked out in the end!
