• Got it for free from a friend who never touched it, but it came from one of the starter packs that I assume can be bought online or in store. I believe it is a variation of the brush in this starter kit
  
• I have no idea whether or not this is a "good" brush to be honest, but it's the only one I've ever used since I started DE shaving about 6 months ago. Works well for me!

• I can't really complain. It smells of peppermint and does a good job, but the full-priced bottle is $25 on their site here...I can't really justify spending $25 on face wash when the black charcoal soap you can see in the background does the exact same thing minus the peppermint scent (for those interested: bought it from amazon for ~$10 for a pack of 3)

• Honestly I have no idea if this is actually a ball end tech, but from what i've read the lack of production code on the bottom of the head means it's from the 50's or so
  
• Works great! The only thing I have to compare it to is a Merkur Futur clone (I think it's called Q-shave) which also suits my needs very nicely. Only complaint is that it seems to get clogged up quickly.

• Haven't really tried any other aftershaves, but this one suits my needs perfectly and doesn't feel too sticky afterwards. Will definitely buy another one when this runs out
  
• Should note that the brickell men's sample pack does come with a really nice aftershave, but again it's $25 and I'm sure I could find something better
  
  Shaving Beer: Creature Comforts Tropicalia
  
  
• Easily my favorite IPA. Very tropical flavor (as per name) and goes down pretty easy. If anyone has recommendations for other IPAs I'd be happy to search them out and give comparisons

So this is in the files of the group I admin on facebook, another admin wrote it up for us but hopefully it will help you:

Mites are a royal pain in the ass. Here is how I fought them:

1. Go to the vet. You need revolution for them as various mites are resistant to ivermectin. Cat dilution will be fine and go a long way. Excess medication should be stored in these to remain usable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IP87H5U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
   
   The hamsters need a drop on the back of the neck. I pull their scruff up and drop the medication onto what is between my fingers. Given what you guys are looking at, dose then once, then two weeks later, then three weeks later. Pregnant mums can be dosed, and the medication can be passed onto their pups. I wouldn't dose the pups until 4wks.
   
   
2. Toss everything wooden. Yes, it sucks. I'm so sorry. You can try bake/boil/freeze but in my experience this DOES NOT WORK. I'd have a good cry, then pitch it and remember you can always buy/make it again.
   
   
3. Clean everyone out. Use vinegar+water to clean everything. Be thorough. I would give everyone smaller cages if you can/have the means. Paper towel bedding, an igloo, water, food dish, and a wheel. That's it. They might be unhappy but they'll live. It’s a temporary accommodation.
   
   
4. Vacuum all your carpets. Throw out your vacuum filter, or wash it very well. If you have hardwood, vacuum it for now. We'll get to floors/furniture/etc later.
   
   
5. Hot wash/hot dry all your clothes, towels, bed sheets.
   
   
6. Buy permethrin (https://www.amazon.com/Sawyer-Products-SP649-Permethrin-Repellent/dp/B001ANQVZE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468184846&sr=8-1&keywords=permethrin). If you have cats, get rid of your cats. Dogs and other animals that are mobile around the house need to be removed from the house for a while. Open windows and doors and put fans on. Then permethrin the hell out of everything. Anything you cannot wash (floors, carpets, sofa, chairs, curtains, bed) needs to be permethrined. It smells like gasoline. If you get light headed, get outside. After ~24 hours it's safe to go back. If you can, move the hamsters outside too. They like your backyard, they can be stacked there.
   
   
7. After a week, clean everyone out. More paper towel. No bedding. Vinegar and water.
   
   
8. Minimize contact and handling. If you do handle, wash up to the elbows with anti-bacterial dawn soap.
   
   
9. There is an invermectin dose you can give yourselves to protect you from mites. 10. Clean every week. Dose after two weeks. Then dose again after three weeks. Keep on the DL to followers for now, then use it as a teaching opportunity for everyone else. I wouldn't adopt out babies until you guys are certain you're mite free.
    
    
11. To find mites, they're easier on males - usually on the testes you can see them. Check and rifle through their balls and scrotum for bites. They also like to go under the arms.
    
    There’s also the tape trick. Wrap a bit of tape around your finger so the sticky side is facing outwards, then brush your hamster with it. Just be careful the tape is not too sticky (run it over your clothes to reduce stickiness if needed). Mites will usually come up as black specks.
    
    
12. YOU CAN DO IT! I believe in you.

Damn. Well, ultimately time is the best at healing scars although that's not fast like you want.

You could try something like this I mean it's made for acne but the reviews say it lightened the scars pretty well. I work at a spa that does facials as well and the esthetician said it's a miracle product. I've heard A LOT of good things about this product but only in the concern of acne- but if it works on acne scars maybe it will help bite scars?

Just a thought. Past that, I'm not sure what to tell you.

First of all, congrats on your face clearing up. Hopefully it doesn't come back like mine. I found that Panoxyl 10% benzoyl peroxide (http://www.amazon.com/Panoxyl-LA-AM-FU-PanOxyl-Bar-10%25/dp/B0000Y3COC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1405318366&sr=8-4&keywords=panoxyl) works for me. It's like $6 at my Wal-Mart. I use it at least once per day, twice if I go to the gym. I use it like soap to wash all over the skin that's prone to acne. Before using this product, I was afraid to wear tank top at the gym. Now, I even attend pool parties. However, it doesn't not fully get rid of the acne, but it cleared more than half. Make sure to apply generous lotion after shower! It's the best I've tried and relatively cheap.

I know it sucks, but this might be "go see a doctor" territory. My criteria list is go see a doctor if you hit two of the three "U's": uncomfortable, unusual, and unyielding. This sounds like a recurring problem, so it hits the unyielding. If the bumps hurt, that's uncomfortable, so now you've hit two of the three. And obviously these bumps are unusual -- your body doesn't usually do this -- so that's three for three.

Also, as someone who's at the doctor for a new BS skin infection at least once a year (I take immune-suppressing medication and get all the skin infections) ... what you have sounds like it might be an infection, perhaps like folluculitis. Not a STI! Just a normal infection. And if your diet sucks and you aren't getting enough sleep, that's going to negatively affect your body's ability to fight off an infection.

You're welcome to consult Dr. Google and look for some treatments you could try on your own first -- an antifungal soap, benzoyl peroxide cleanser, salicyclic acid cleanser, or antibacterial soap on affected areas might help, but seriously proceed with caution putting any of those on sensitive areas of your body. And if anyone else posts and is like, THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLAN, listen to them. Just because I don't know why this isn't a terrible plan doesn't mean it isn't a terrible plan.

Any of the aforementioned products may also generally help with body or acne, although you should use them carefully at first since your skin isn't used to harsh cleansers right now. Following up with a moisturizer may help prevent any skin flaking or dryness that results from starting a new regimen, although (a) I wouldn't put it on potentially-infected skin, and (b) patch test it just to make sure it doesn't irritate your skin. You should also be using sunscreen on any exposed skin (like your face) ESPECIALLY if you use a product with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in it. (PS - benzoyl peroxide can bleach fabrics, so watch out for your towels/sheets/clothes.) There are also topical treatments that use the same ingredients as those cleansers, and those might help too.

Let us know if you need some moisturizer recommendations for either face or body. I'm sure someone else could also recommend different cleansers -- I've at least seen the PanOxyl and ZapZyt recommended on here, although I totally pulled the Sal3 and Hibiclens recommendations out of thin air, so take those with a grain of salt.

Washing with African black soap might help. I'm using it right now due to some skin issues caused by having a baby recently. Check if you have an African grocery, or Caribbean grocery nearby. Amazon carries it as well, but you have to read reviews carefully. You want to get the gnarly looking, homemade looking stuff. It kinda just smells "soapy". It should smell clean though. I hope that makes sense. Don't bother with the fancy natural/ whole foods type brands, as while they smell nice and all, either are not made with ashes, or contain other ingredients that won't help. Also you can buy witch hazel and apply it with a spray bottle. Coconut or olive oil might be good for moisturizing.

Body Skin Type: Normal-to-dry, Keratosis Pilaris on arms, upper stomach, and thighs, occasional body acne

Shower Routine (every other day):

• Alpha Skin Care 12% Glycolic Acid Renewal Body Lotion, every other day. I love this stuff. It smooths out my KP quite a bit, and leaves my whole body feeling so soft. Calloused areas become noticeably softer with continued use for me, as well. I've been using it for about 3-4 months, now, and will definitely repurchase when the I run out.
  
  
• CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, every night. I wait 30 minutes on nights that I apply my AHA to apply this. My skin loves the extra moisture, but the AHA lotion is very moisturizing on its own, so this step could probably be skipped, if necessary.
  
  I'm still looking for a solution to the mild redness caused by my KP on my arms, but other than that I'm pretty content with my routine, as is. So soft!

I recently tried this and it worked pretty well.

You need a combination of things, one product isn't going to do it. Wash face with this, tone with this, spot-treat with this, use mask like this twice a week before bed. Don't forget to drink lots of water and eat healthily. Congrats, you now have perfect skin!

Don't forget to exfoliate and moisturize! Mix sugar, honey, vitamin E oil and avocado/olive oil together into a paste, and use it to massage your face all over in the shower. I also recommend Detclear as a facewash for you. It's wonderful.

You can also try using B&C Tsururi Soap both for your body and as a shaving soap. It really pulls out blackheads/ingrowns.

I just was trying to find this today, after working on part of the wiki and it piqued my interest. Seems it is discontinued/unavailable everywhere I looked.

I'd say try out the Whole Food 365 one that /u/Leisureguy recommends or the Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar or some Dr. Bronners soap.

I tried everything for my acne but what worked the best for me was a mix of 10% benzoyl peroxide and 2% salicylic acid.

I can't tell which they are, but I had something similar and an esthetician friend recommended PanOxyl to get rid of it and it totally worked. It took a few months, but it made a real difference. I only needed to use one bar, and even then I only used it 3 times a week because it can be really drying.

Per a dermatologist's recommendation, I use Vanicream products: cleansing bars in the shower and lotion afterwards to prevent dryness. They have no fragrance or extra BS ingredients that irritate people's skin. And salicylic acid pads before bed if I remember / am having a breakout.

May be better to quit using soap at all as others have said, but that routine and eating clean (try Whole 30) have made a huge difference.

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar. Was recommended to me by my doctor. I found it at Walmart and I'm sure it can be found at many other places.

This happened to me too! I used Vanicream medicated soap at the recommendation of my derm and saw a huge difference after a night, and it fully cleared up after three days of use. Might be worth a shot!

i rarely get pimples since i've started using those items and sometimes i go a few days without washing my face. you may even want to try soaking a tissue with the bactine and holding it over your breakout spots for a few min

this is the one I used. But any pharmacy will have soap bars that contain ~2% pyrithione zinc; the active ingredient.

It's also the active ingredient in Head and shoulders dandruff shampoo; so if you have dandruff problems you can knock out two birds with one lather

this it's more expensive, but way worth it.

I use a different brand but this one has similar ingredients and composition to the soap I use. You cannot buy Oli Activated Charcoal Soap, as it is not available in Amazon and if bought would cost you shipping charges, as it's only available in our country.
