They go on easily, stay on fine for a day, and you can peel them off without much trouble (even easier if you soak them in warm water). The fake nails come in ten sizes, and the largest one fit my thumb exactly.
I used these tips for acrylic nails from Amazon and clipped them into points. From there, I put some Spirit Gum on my nails as well as the inside of each fake nail (make sure to tap it until it becomes tacky!) and adhered them. Then I just painted them and my hand black!
I have been doing my own nails for about four years now, it’s a huge money saver plus I can make them look exactly as I want. These are my favorite tips and the ones I’m wearing.
I picked up this kit from Walmart (much cheaper there, vs online). Its very thin little plastic white tips you glue to your nail and then seal on, promising no chipping and long lasting. I like that it is just a tip, not a full nail that always damages and ruins my nails for months. As a florist, I chip my nails at work all the time. We had two weddings to put together yesterday, and these survived everything. Wiring, gluing, getting beaten to heck, and all the bleach and water and crap my hands go through. I am hooked. My nails have been very weak, and peely on the ends so they chip even more often. Not this week! Yay.
Also tried stamping today to dress up my french tips. I only have the special polish in black, and had poor luck with any of my colors giving a full image. So I dressed it up with some holographic dots! Yay for pretty flowers!

I feel your pain! I've had toenails fall off due to psoriasis and have to resign myself to closed toe shoes for a few months. I think 6 months is probably enough time for most of the nail to grow back but it may still look uneven.
I would start looking for a reputable nail technician near you that can make you an acrylic nail to hide the difference in nail length for your wedding and honeymoon. 5 months is plenty of time for something to grow back which they can use to adhere it too. I love the Kiss lashes in Shy I get mine at Meijer (midwest grocery like Walmart). They add thickness to my lashes but they are not very long at all so they dont cover up all my eyeshadow or look ridiculously long.

They make fake toenails! If they do remove your nail, after a few months you might have enough of a nail grown back to attach a fake one. I had an ingrown toenail removed and while it took a long time to come all the way back, there was maybe half a centimeter growth after a month?
