If I was making this disneybound for my son, I'd pick Sora from KH3, its pretty straight forward for a disneybound I think. I'd get black knee-length cargo shorts, and sew/fabric glue/heatbond the strips of red on the thighs, but even without that the black cargo shorts would be fine. Then I'd get a black or dark grey tshirt, and a really lightweight black zip-up hoodie that I'd take the sleeves off of and wear unzipped over the tshirt. (Or, you could buy something like this ) Since I sew, I'd just line the hood part with red. Cheap black and yellow shoes available here ) I'm pretty sure some variation of the shorts, hoodie(s), and shoes can all be purchased at places like walmart too. The Sora necklace is available here - hook a keyblade keychain to your beltloop (available here ) or you could stop by a craft store like Michaels and see if they have crown and key charms available. Your local second-hand store probably also has shorts, tshirt/hoodies and shoes available, if the color of the shoes isn't just right, fabric markers or sharpies are available in craft stores. I ended up going with http://www.amazon.com/Naked-Famous-Denim-Mens-Hoodie/dp/B00APU47V8 with a 20% off coupon which made it ~112 dollars. It's a really nice hoodie I think. I know their jeans have held up well for me, but I doubt the hoodie will last as long as the 10 year one. However, I think it looks waaaaaaay better and is still quite high quality (and should last me as long as I really want to be wearing hoodies anyway).

Fit is very nice too, slim and no weird "rumple" in the zipper, which is noticeably higher quality than most. I think it's because it's custom, not YKK (which makes pretty much every zipper on the planet).

I'm very happy with the purchase for $110, not sure if I'd pay $140 but that's up to you. If you'll wear it a ton then the price per wear might be pretty low compared to say a 100 dollar sweater you wear 4x a year. Just something to consider!

Second week of class, I wear this hoodie to class. The picture doesn't portray it very well, it's very... Disorienting to look straight at, and the purple is very bright, it's quite the hoodie. Well I'm getting a slight ribbing about it cause it is a weird hoodie, and I jokingly shout, "why do you guys always make fun of me!" and walk out the door.

A minute later, the Hog follows me out and says in a confidential tone, "do you wanna know why people are making fun of you?"

I've not been buying much this weather, All I bought last week was a PS1 (It smells of smoke I've posted about it in the Help me sell this for help getting rid of the smell) with a Memory card and controller. I was originally listed for £20 with Final Fanstasy 7 and 2 other games, but someone beat me to it and Snapped up all the games for £20, so I just got the console ect for £10.

I also found a guy on ebay locally selling a pile of PS1 games with 2 controllers and 2 memory cards, I sent him a message asking if I could arrange to get them off him without posting which he was happy to do and he pointed me in the direction of his other listing of PS2 games too. I'm off to meet him tomorrow and get pick it up, total cost - £7.35

Plan is to bundle the console, controllers, memory cards and any games not worth splitting off (aswell as some I have sitting around that are near worthless) I've not checked all the games out but there's a coupel which have some worth and one sale will cover the entire price of both bundles.

I've been doing abit of consignment recently too for Friends and Family, and my cousin asked me if I'd sell his four BNWT Venom Hoodies that he bought, didn't like and didn't want to return to the US due to shipping cost. I take 25% after fees and postage and should pick up at least £5-8 a piece.

It does run large, especially in the sleeves, but it’s really good quality and super soft!

I imagine the coat and boots will be your biggest decision. Keep me updated with what you choose. A lot of footwear is bad for feet. Old, new, not fashionable or in style. The Katahdin uses a munson last which was made 100 years ago, using some of the first xrays of the foot (in boots) to study ergonomic design. The idea is cinching up the heel and instep, and leaving the toes open to splay and not be warped together. Also, the longer a heel is the more of a heel hit that happens on the ground, which can also be terrible for your body.

Honestly, it's hard to turn down either the Doc Martens or the LL Bean. The docs are guaranteed to replace, albeit they are not made in USA and will fall apart after a year or two (get a new pair or visit cobbler, whom has replaced many Doc soles - no doubt). While doc has its own fashion pull, it is also a design made for comfort. I believe docs are made to be ergonomic as well. Most footwear today is made in the idea of fashion, and therefore contorts the foot in its design.

I'd be curious to know what you go with.

Also, it is important to know what you will go with, with the weather. Some areas like in East USA can be heavy downpour. In Pacific Northwest it usually just drizzles. At this point it is important to decide whether you will run for shelter in downpour, use umbrella, or a shell layer (even a one buck poncho for necessity, or mil surplus).

Cloaks are really easy to make if you want to learn how to sew.

However, just a quick search on Amazon brought up this which looks like a nice very modern lightweight jacket type.

That's a good start. Another piece to throw in would be a flannel if you don't have one. Uniqlo has a decent selection and is really cheap. Other than that, consider getting a few hoodies (people in this sub have had good things to say about comfort colors) and updating your footwear if you haven't already then you should be good to go.
