Sure, glad you've had positive results with exercise!
I provided a link for the protein powder and I think that stuff is the bees fucking knees :)
For sublingual liquid B12, I'm taking this - is also the same brand I use for liquid vitamin D.
For the high DHA omega, I take Barleans fish oil - they make a liquid supplement that tastes like a creamsicle!
Choline is typically included in the B complex family and can be easily be found in a health food store or online; inositol is a bit more complicated but can typically be found combined with choline.
I noticed the most profound effect with the B12. When I'd be having a fit and took a xanax, a feeling of relief would wash over me and I'd usually exhale, like sinking into a comfy chair butttt I'd be high/intoxicated; I notice a similar relaxing "Ahhh" effect once the B12 kicks in, minus the negative intoxicating effects.
Hope this helps!
Not a doctor of any kind but personally I use [One A Day Mens Health Formula] (https://www.amazon.com/One-Mens-Health-Formula-Tablets/dp/B000CEEASC) and Fish Oil Omega 3 from Natural Riches daily.
Another note; there is no perfect multivitamin that will make getting vitamins from food obsolete, to stay healthy you steel need a good diet of foods even with the best vitamin pills, so try your best even if you have a broke wallet like me :/
Disclaimer, I have ties to this brand, but I recommend the intelligent labs omega 3, 3 capsules for 2400mg, stronger, purer, better value, triglyceride based so 70% more effective. Or at least any triglyceride based fish oil other than a Now product, e.g. Nordic Naturals
http://www.amazon.com/Strongest-Effective-Natural-Triglyceride-Guarantee/dp/B00USQWTRS
Also a WA state resident.
TAKE VITAMIN D!!! Everyone in the Puget Sound area has some level of deficiency. Mine, however, got so low that I started having physical symptoms. I know many people think that vitamins just give you expensive urine, and there's some merit to that, but Vit D is an exception.
I started taking Fish Oil because I was seriously craving fish often and I read about the benefits of fish oil so I thought I might have an Omega-3 deficiency. It's also supposed to help with anxiety.
The capsules I take are huge. And make sure to buy the burpless kind (last time I didn't look carefully enough at the label and I tasted fish in my mouth all morning). These are a little more expensive, but it's worth it. I buy Nature Made. Here it is on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Nature-Made-Burp-less-Value-200-Count/dp/B004GJVD2K/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1473353767&sr=8-2&keywords=nature%2Bmade%2Bburpless%2Bfish%2Boil
But Bartell's often has a 2 for 1 vitamin special so I wait until the sale and buy it there.
Thanks :) Well the thing with wrists is that they aren't supposed to be really weight baring...but with conditioning you will do fine. I do have a video on wrist preparation for handstands/planche etc here :)
Out of the ones listed I would say yes, especially in the form of a raw, fermented cod liver oil, such as I linked above. Mainly because it includes all those great fat soluble vitamins that are pretty hard to get in your diet (vitamin A, D, E, K2 + more).
I personally take the cod liver oil and butter oil gel blend and I see it as an omega 3 supplement (about 1000mg EPA/DHA per tsp) and a multivitamin (about 700-1000IUs vit D, 7000-10000IUs vit A + vit E, K2, CoQ10 etc). You can grab that here. I take 5-6g a day, so about a tsp.
Yeah... I remember getting a prescription for triptans and it helped but it felt like it just masked the pain and didn't actually get rid of it.
I forgot exactly where i did the research, but this is what i take [almost] every day:

Sorry for the long reply, hopefully this helps. I feel like an old man taking pills every day, but it's better than having these headaches :D
If you want the best on the market, I'd go for the most natural oil you can find. Concentrated crap isn't always a good thing. Cod liver oil is the best natural fish source for vitamin D and omega 3. Extra virgin is the best.
edit: this stuff is the real deal
https://www.amazon.com/Recommended-Rancidity-Rosita-Real-Foods/dp/B01JH05OT0/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1519162629&sr=1-4&keywords=ROSITA+EVCLO+%28EXTRA+VIRGIN+COD+LIVER+OIL%29&dpID=51HGH3eKNaL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

Also I hope you feel better soon and let me know if you have any other questions!
It sounds like you really started eating well! That's huge.
A few other supplements that might help with low energy: MCT oil and Omega 3s. I've linked the specific brands I buy because people tend to ask when you suggest supplements. MCT oil is used by your body pretty quickly so you should feel good the first day you take it. It's not so much a boost as it is just a wakefulness feeling. Omega 3s are more of a long term thing and harder to notice day to day, but still useful IMO.
I wouldn't say more expensive is necessarily better.
But i do like certain brand over other because of the fish aftertaste. I'm currently using super fisol. It's great quality fish oil with no fish aftertaste. If you dont' mind it, then generic is just as fine.
Love Myprotein - glad that they've made their way out to the States!
Do you think brand makes a difference though? I used this Norweigan brand which is supposed to be one of the best, and still had heartburn :(
sounds like you need to load up your Retinol and Vitamin D stores. Find local farms and only buy from ones that meet your standards for animal treatment. Ruminants are extremely important for holistic farming and bringing life back to the land.
pastured eggs
beef liver pills - https://www.amazon.com/Ancestral-Supplements-Grass-Liver-Desiccated/dp/B01MSBZYQW
cod liver oil - https://www.amazon.com/Rosita-Extra-Virgin-Liver-Softgels/dp/B01LYYKULV/
Wild Salmon - Omega 3's (epa+dha) are extremely important for brain health.
Read Weston Price's book - Nutrition and Physical Degeneration
This is a good interview form Lierre Keith - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFm2QLLuh6I
Omega 3 and vitamin D. They reduce inflammation, and inflammation (more specifically, excess prostaglandin levels) is was causes menstrual cramps in the absence of other factors like endometriosis, etc.
Better yet, the combination of both: fermented cod liver oil. It also contains vitamins A and K2, and some vitamin E as well. All fat-soluble vitamins act in synergy, increasing the absorption in each other while minimising the risk of toxicity as can happen with some nutrients (like vitamins A and D) in their synthetic form. Highly recommend this one. Seems expensive but the bottle is going to last you like 3 months with daily doses.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SD9MGIO/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_W97SzbYF6S5BE
I've been buying this one after comparing a lot of different brands. This is the best value and you cant get anything better for the price. However if you are willing to pay quite a lot more you can get a better product (just check labdoor.com and see whats available in the UK).
Tbh I would rather buy this fish oil and eat a lot of it (3-5 capsules/ day) than get less of more expensive one
Question for you guys. I have chronic inflammation(tendonitis) and i'm doing my best to eat an anti-inflamatory diet. I am currently taking this fish oil twice a day. Is there a better fish oil pill i could be taking for inflammation? I picked this brand because it had the largest dose and was relatively cheap.
Dude, first of all, thank you for pointing me to examine.com. Definitely going to be my new go-to for nutrition related info.
Good idea about doing a blood test. My diet is not proper, so I'm sure I'd be deficient in many of the micronutrients, especially B-complex vitamins, but it's better to do a test and take medication accordingly. For now testing CoBaDex CZS suggested by /u/Don_Michael_Corleone for a week.
I don't consume fish and other major sources of omega-3 fatty acides such as flaxseed, so I'm sure that I'm deficient. I'll start small and see how that goes. Going with this for now: http://www.amazon.in/St-Botanica-Fish-Double-Strength-Omega/dp/B01DGO76N0
Well that's the thing, it's a no-name brand. The sites that sell them just title them "Omega 3 pills" or something similar. I get mine from a site called TopFormula, and the UK site was MyVitamins, if that helps in any way.
Check the packaging for anything that gives you more than 250mg of both EPA and DHA per day and you will probably be fine.
I found these after a quick amazon search. They should have enough in two pills according to the product description.
I take a tablespoon of cod liver oil everymorning. Good source of DHA/EPA as well as vit A, D,(E?) and K.
Does any one have any suggestions for brands? Currently use this brand
Seven Seas Cod Liver fish oil. EPA: 831.6mg, DHA: 739.2mg, +Vitamins A,D,E per 2 tsp. I hate the taste at the beginning but over time it got better as I saw improvements. It last a long time, and I take it every morning.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seven-Seas-Liver-Traditional-Liquid/dp/B0013G3IZE/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1451564622&sr=8-14&keywords=cod+liver+fish+oil

Swanson's EFAs fish oil capsules
i am using this one
I take Holland and Barrett's own - they're a health-chain in the UK. This is 1400mg http://www.amazon.com/Pharmaceutical-Cardiovascular-Health-Manufactured-Abundant/dp/B00DQXNLC2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1415212206&sr=8-4&keywords=fish+oil. This is quite high too: http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Bounty-Strength-Odorless-Softgels/dp/B002QMB55Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1415212272&sr=1-1&keywords=fish+oil+extra+strength. Just search around.
Picked up these:
http://www.amazon.com/Barleans-Organic-Oils-Softgels-60-Count/dp/B002VLZ8BC
I have blood work that needs to be done soon, so I will start taking them after that.
I believe so but im not sure of the DHA and EPA. This is the product. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NPYY04/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4Vi0DbJAQ7K4R
Fish oil pills are the easiest method. Just make sure you buy something with enough EPA/DHA to matter or you'll be wasting money. I use these and they're a steal if you buy in bulk: fish oil
I take these ones and though I don't get fish burps, I get weird off-lemon burps.
