You know, I loved the Champkey grip feel — but I couldn’t find a Champkey with the exact size I was looking for. The jumbo was too big, and the midsize not big enough.

I finally ended up with this Golf Pride putter grip:
Golf Pride Tour SNSR Contour Pro Grey 140cc Putter Grip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MVZP247/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jHhXDb257X92V

I have been playing with it for a couple months and haven’t looked back. It is definitely on the firmer side. But it just fits my hand size really well.

Oh man, yeah, get em regripped if they feel funky. Huge difference. I just got the Winn DriTacs put on mine, highly recommend. http://www.amazon.com/Winn-DriTac-Oversize-Grip-Dark/dp/B006GFE4NM

Not sure about the reel handles, but if you can measure the diameter of the rod where the grip is, you might be able to fit a Fatso putter grip on it.

You can get a mess of 13 Karma Tour Velvet grips for $24 on Amazon (midsize for $21).

Edit - Here's a slightly more retro-styled version (black and white), could look really nice with those clubs

The one's on the current irons are the Diamond Universal. They have different color options for the cap, but here is one's with the blue cap.

I agree with everything except the pessimism that the adapter may be broken. I am 90% sure the adapter is ok.

As you can see in the picture, there is a collared plastic ferrule that attaches to the adapter. This is where the club snapped.

However, that doesn't change the diagnosis, it would be easier to buy a used shaft+adapter on ebay than it would be to:

  1. buy a fairway shaft with the correct tip size and grip
  2. either getting the broken shaft removed professionally or getting a broken shaft extractor and a propane torch and pulling it youself or buying a replacement adapter.
  3. tip prepping+ferrule install+butt trimming+grip install+adapter install. Or paying a professional to do it.

Unless you have the tools and knowledge to do the work yourself, the total cost would be more than a second hand replacement off of ebay.

These guys. I think Golf Galaxy has them cheaper if you have one nearby:

no. the ferrule is at the other end.

the adapter that you have comes with its own screw. it doesn't use the same one as standard.

it's like this one (but not ACTUALLY this one)

They make them and they're not very expensive either! They make a 750cc driver and the club head is only $99 on Amazon. Part of me just wants to have it in the bag for pure shock value.

Just ordered them online, didn’t have them at Roger Dunn (didn’t look around that much elsewhere though). Cheapest I found was Golf Works but they kill you on the shipping.

So I just got them from Amazon even though they were twice as much cause, 2 day prime shipping ended up being actually cheaper (and way faster):
