I appreciate your response!

New and used, and I've taken the time to break in my gloves (and friends have helped open and close new gloves, and sit on them, tied them, put balls in them, thrown pucks, etc.). It also doesn't matter if the glove is new to me or months old. I haven't had one last a year yet without being either given up on because it doesn't work, or just straight up broken by a shot.

I've tried gloves under. I used to use a golf glove to help fill up space so the intermediate didn't fall off. A little bit more size, and the traction of a non sweaty hand helped.

A catcher's under glove doesn't have padding where I need it. The palm would be good, but most of my bruises are at the ring finger above and below the ring. https://smile.amazon.com/Adult-Catchers-Fielders-Padded-Inner-Glove/dp/B00IDOGIO2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1520485553&sr=8-2&keywords=catcher+baseball+padding&dpID=51gazR8oKuL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch You can see where the padding is there. https://smile.amazon.com/Markwort-Stash-Black-Fielder-Protective/dp/B000VZ89TS/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1520485568&sr=8-22&keywords=catcher+baseball+padding That one wouldn't help where I'm getting bruised at all. Or they're up on the fingers.

I can't find a link for another thing I've tried, which is a little bit of extra padding that you can slide down over your fingers that sits at the top of the palm. It was so bulky it made it so I couldn't get the glove to sit properly on my hand.

I don't use the individual finger slots. My hands are too small to reach them, I guess. My junior has a thumb and pinky slot, and I ignore the pinky one. Off the top of my head, not sure about the thumb, but it doesn't matter. If my intermediate had them, I don't know of them. My fingers always touch one another in there. Too spread out and I have less leverage to close the glove. I can't get my hand in much further, unfortunately. I like the idea of getting rid of the finger guides, but my thumb is over on the other side and that limits it. :)

My left hand, from bottom of my palm (where it would touch if I'm doing a push up, for instance) to the tip of my middle finger, my left hand is nearly 6 1/8", and my right hand is 6". My fingers are between 2" and 2 1/2" long.

I didn't consider them THAT small, but apparently they are. Looking at it, yeah, no surprise I can close a youth easily. It's the only one where I'm at the large end of the spectrum.

sorry to resuscitate an old-ish thread, but i'm about to buy a new pack of these slap-bracelet lights - I bought them to give away to un-lit bikers at Burning Man and found them nice and bright. Easy to wear on your wrists or ankles, and the LED's are replaceable too.

I really like @bk7j 's suggestion of fairy lights! Another way to light your wheels too: zip-tie glowstick-shaped LED's to your spokes. I got these by NiteIze - they're also replaceable-battery.

I used to shoot in blizzards and below freezing temps. The best gloves I found were winter golf gloves. I bought a couple pairs of Foot Joy WinterSof Gloves

I cannot recommend these enough, they are warm, much warmer than mechanix gloves (I've tried them), and yet you can feel everything like mechanix gloves.

I tried on a pair of the bob allens but they were to thick for me to feel like I had good control over the gun and have good feel on the trigger.

I haven't used the stablegrip, but I have the Relief Grip and LOVE it.

Hey dude, I did a quick Google - check these out!! I'm big on finding little gear tweaks to improve survivability in my job. For $10 you get 10 of these, bet these could save your hands for a year.

Everyone else is spot on with the layers (if it's really cold I also layer my running tights under sweats or wear knee-high wool socks).

The best cold-weather running gear I own is a pair of glove liners and mittens. They can be worn together if it's really cold out, just the gloves on a cold day, or just the mittens (which are super thin windproof fabric) if it's windy but not that cold.

Also, dress so that you're a little chilly starting out, otherwise you'll roast. I find that dressing so I'm comfortable after about half a mile of warming up works great.

Did some searches on Amazon and manufacturer's sites and came up very close to empty. Only stumbled across two options so far, though neither are from a big name company (if that matters to you). The first is a three pack and the second is just one glove. Another recommendation I might check would be the Callaway X-Spann glove. It's got a lot of stretchy material in it and it may work out for you. I normally wear a Cadet M/L, but have found that the regular M/L fits quite close to a cadet size and a touch longer in the fingers. If you could find it local, it may be worth trying on. I picked up mine at Walmart, of all places. Hope that helps!

I live in the US, but I use these. They're pretty good, I'd say.

Finger Ten from Amazon. Wasn’t sure but it my hand doesn’t get drenched in it and it holds a grip.

Affordable too: Finger Ten New Mens RainGrip Hot Wet... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L6AQTFM?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I use the callaway 365 all weather gloves for practice and when it’s sweaty hot. Rotate them as you sweat and you can get some good mileage.

If you require leather, I suggest looking at golf gloves. Be aware though, they don't normally come in pairs. Here's a pair that looks like it would work well for you, though. Just be aware that finding a golf glove without a ridiculous logo on it will be difficult. But they are really good about not having a seam on the finger tips, which is generally the reason you couldn't type in gloves.

I'm not sure what kind of piece of crap employer you have, but this requirement seems truly unreasonable.

I share the same affliction for super sweaty hands and these gloves have ended all of my grip problems. I have tried every brand out there including those made specifically for playing in the rain and nothing compares to the Hirzls.

I'm on my phone so didn't search too hard, but basically something like this except with the fingertips to use with a smartphone. Usually can be found at Walmart/dollar store for cheap. It doesn't soak through to the outside really, although they do periodically need to be washed since the inside will absorb a bit of aquaphor.

I have a pair of Friction Gloves that my wife got me for Christmas. I threw a couple rounds with them on some wet, colder days (only gets so cold in NC) and generally liked them. Took a throw or three to get used to them, but kept my hands dry and relatively warm.

These with wires.
