Yes it will help, but you want EGCG, the most important molecule in green tea. I like this one from Now Foods. Many people use more supplements like Yohimbine, MCT oil, EC stack, naringen, forskolin, synephrine, all kinds of stuff for cutting, but if you're making good progress already you don't really need all that, especially at 18. I think EGCG would be a good addition with basically zero side effects, other than positive things like more energy and focus. You could also add some caffeine if you want, which would help too.
Hi, so I’ll provide some insight from my n=1 experience with some body fat that was covering my abs. It appeared to have come about by trying to always eat at a surplus as well as extra fruit at night.

Background: my diet is pretty bulletproof being a low carb, low FODMAP, AIP Paleo. I’m 29 and 5 8. I also run once a week at a distance of 9miles, but my job is someway sedentary. Before implementing these changes, I was under the belief that calories don’t matter at all when eating a whole food approach. Now I’ve revised that thinking to say they PARTLY matter, but really it’s moreso about your selections of Whole Foods, and not always opting for say, berries.
To get here, last month I started out by doing a 10 day Keto (was going to do 3, then 7, then made it to 10 before I said F-this I want to be able to do push-ups again, lol)... so definitely I found insanely difficult primarily from just having no workout strength. The Keto community will say that that is not long enough to see results, but I did, and I know I can be in ketosis in as little as 24h or less due to already beings fat adapted and low carb inherently due to intolerances (as shown by some Organic acid testing) The willpower of also only consuming greens as my carb source rather than say butternut squash was also starting to play games with me. Carb cycling (3 days off such as only greens with your fat and protein, 1 day with whole food carbs) is much better for us smaller body types, that don’t have THAT much fat already. Carb cycling was something that I heard Chelsea Axe (Dr Axe’s wife) talk about in something she implements and has excellent success with. I found this very interesting and have had past acute success with (as noted by the first image, thinking I was holding water but was actually small “smooth” body fat)
However right now I’m not even really doing carb cycle. In fact the opposite, whereby i like to carb backload since I workout in the evenings, but instead of fruit I instead opt for a organic rooty starch like Pumpkin or Butternut Squash, and I’m doing this nightly. I may have like 5 frozen strawberries and raspberries if desiring that sourness. This was never something I did before, thinking that rooty startchy vegetables where causing this “water retention”... which was actually bodyfat. So now doing these starches instead, nightly only, at 1 meal (idk if eating these earlier would have any difference in effect, I just like to carb backload again due to schedule, but also biological knowledge about being more insulin sensitive in the evening too), I’m noticing good results. So why perhaps?
Maybe I’m increasing thyroid output and overall metabolic rate, while NOT intaking a bunch of extra glucose.

Here I was in a very fatigued, catabolic, but low bf% state, whereby I killed off all of carbs, and really wasn’t eating enough raw material, despite building these blocky abs from them being my complete workout focus. However I was also doing a TON of yoga at the time, and too much running as well. I was also fully caffeine dependent using it like a biohacker that had gone mad where I’d have beside teabags “brewing” in water bottles for the morning wake up. Anyway...

Final thoughts:
If you want to abstain from caffeine for a week, you should note some greater effects when introducing it back in. This isn’t feasible for me, but I noticed this when forgetting that 90% cacao chocolate is loaded up with caffeine and seeing some crazy results. Personally I would go that route. Cut coffee and such. Then I member super dark chocolate 85%+ (not working about the fat or calories), and also Impelenbt matcha green tea powder to get loaded up on EGCGs.
Otherwise, check out those 3 supplements, and do some IF. My fast simply is not eating until noon or 1p the following day after final meal is at 11p. If you haven’t already, switch to a high fat, high protein diet. I personally wouldn’t bother counting calories once your body setpoint is working and you can be easily satiated (and blood sugar stabilized with lots of fat) for hours with say, grass fed beef and ghee/refinded coconut oil.

Here's what we're also seeing in the data - the emergence of power reviewers who have 1000's of incentivized reviews who pretty much ONLY give 5-star ratings. It works great when I take all four supplements as described. It's like a constant slow-burn throughout the day. The author, Tim Ferris, expands on the supposed benefits of each supplement, including Green Tea.

I find people adapt first to fruity or carob based teas if they are used to milk then build up a taste for the less sweet flavours (I have a lot of different tea/coffee drinks!).

Big cup of coffee in the morning, followed by a little bit of L-theanine powder. If you are someone who gets a little too wired on caffeine, I totally recommend L-theanine. It lets you keep the awakeness and concentration improvement of the caffeine without the shakes or anxiety.
Fucking lowlives. Sorry your mom got scammed. These are just general supplements that won't really do anything compared to a healthy diet. I wouldn't recommend buying them all. Maybe a multivitamin and fish oil, or a b-vitamin if she doesn't eat meat. Otherwise, they're likely a waste of money.

Personally I never used anything like that before, and am very skeptical of products like it to begin with. If anything just try keto for a few days and have some actual tea while doing so, and you'll feel pretty damn good anyway!
Don't get into the habit of using them, but if you can find valium or xanax, it helps massively in the weird brain zaps you get for the next couple days. Word of warning is that the normal weird dreams you get on MDMA comedowns get even weirder on benzos.
But the main thing is just do less mandy. You've not done permanent damage but have a break for a couple of months (at least 2 months I'd suggest) just so your brain can fully recover.
If you're getting 5-HTP, buy some green tea extract too - otherwise it all goes into your peripheral nerves which can fuck with your heart valves over time. This is what I have. Take one of them for each cap of 5-HTP you have.

Try taking the bacopa before bed, it makes some people tired.
Maybe lay off the CILTEP for a few days and try supplementing some glutamine, did wonders for me.
Try adjusting your choline intake, too much makes some people depressed, but not enough will also make you tired and brain foggy. Too much will give you muscle soreness and possibly a headache from muscle tension.
You could try some n-acetyl-tyrosine and see if it helps your motivation. I wouldn't take too much though since one of your ADs is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Have you always felt this unmotivated, or is it a recent phenomenon? If it's just a recent thing, what has changed in your life that might have caused it? If it is chronic, and n-acetyl-tyrosine works for you, you might want to ask your doctor about trying ritalin/methylphenidate.
I would also try to get off the SSRI/SNRI, serotonin is depressing. There is a common misconception, possibly due to incorrect ideas about how MDMA works, that serotonin makes you happy. SSRIs actually increase suicide risk for the first few weeks because the excess serotonin makes you depressed. The anti depressant effects take a few weeks because they are due to physiological changes in your brain due to the extra serotonin.

Personally I think the base of any nootropic stack should include a good multivitamin, some antioxidants, and probably fish oil, although some people react negatively to fish oil. Methodology
I won’t take anything based on someone saying “this worked for me.” It needs to have real, scientific evidence. I have read hundreds of journal articles, seeking out quality evidence for things that have been shown to help with ulcerative colitis.
Of things with evidence, I tend to focus on things that have the fewest side effects possible.
Unfortunately, some of these things are only available as “natural supplements” which means that rather than the active ingredient being perfectly isolated, they contain a bunch of other random stuff from wherever that came from. I tried to choose companies for the natural supplements that seemed reputable, so at least I’d hopefully be getting what they claimed I would.
Background
I was having a flare—including abdominal pain and blood in my stool. I continued taking my oral mesalamine, then as I had for previous flares, added a mesalamine enema, used nicotine patches, and took wheat grass tablets. I added each one every two weeks. After eight weeks, the blood had long since stopped, but the pain didn’t.
I contacted my doctor. He added prednisone at 40 mg/day. That made things worse. After a week, he upped me to 60 mg/day. After one week of that, and no improvement, I added many other things, as outlined below.
After taking all of these things for a month, the pain hadn’t stopped.
I had a colonoscopy, which showed no inflammation. None. My doctor and I agree the pain is likely from something else; I will soon have a CT scan to help figure out what.
Do any of the things below work? In theory any, all, or none of them could have contributed to my colon being perfectly normal and healthy. There is no way to know which, if any of these, did anything.

℞ indicates a prescription drug. Mesalamine and prednisone are commonly prescribed for ulcerative colitis. Bupropion is normally prescribed as an antidepressant so your gastroenterologist may be reluctant to prescribe it for this, especially since there are no studies of its effect on ulcerative colitis in humans.
