1.) Something that is blue.
This Neblua Funko Pop is not only cute, but also BLUE.
Because Mother's Day is around the corner, how about this gorgeous necklace?
Not only that, but are you a fidget kinda preson? Then this is the perfect thing for you!

2.) Something that says summer (literally or figuratively).
Gotta love summer! You know what comes with summer? Sunflowers!
For some reason, pineapples really remind me of summer. I can't really say why. They just, like, SCREAM "summer" to me.
Summer, to me, also means relaxing with a good book. And what better book than the next one in the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin?

3.) Something food related that is unusual.
Not sure if this counts as unusual, but I thought it was quite abnormal...
Also, I can't say I've ever seen a water melon cake-topper, though I'm no expert on cake toppers.
Also, if horror movies and the undead are your kinda thing, how about a side-dish of zombie?

4.) Something you want to gift to someone else, and tell me why.
I really want to gift this beautiful Pop moment to my brother, because he's amazing and deserves all the things.
I also want to gift this soundtrack to my sister because she's always singing, and I know it'd makes her happy.

5.) A book I should read! I am an avid reader, so take your best shot and tell me why I need to read it!
Oh my gosh, you are totally asking the right person. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is one of the best books that has ever existed. Not only that, but it's a series! Also, my username is taken from the first page of the book, so that must mean that it's good. It's got suspense, kids with powers, and some horror themes. It's just overall a great book. PLEASE check it out!
Another good book series is the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. The final book is coming out this year, so I'm excited!
Why stop there? Another great book is All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. It will break your heart, but in a good way. It's a beautifully written book. I'm not sure what genre you like, but it reminded me of the genre of books like The Fault in Our Stars and Everything, Everything.
Another great series is The Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken. Not only is a great series, but there's also a movie coming out in August that's based off the books! Better get reading. ;)

6.) An item that is less than a dollar, including shipping... that is not jewelry, nail polish, and or hair related!
These are totally adorable AND affordable! Talk about a deal.
Like writing? This notebook would be the excellent choice for the writer within! Or just someone who likes taking notes.
Have a cat? How 'bout some good ol' catfood?

7.) Something related to dogs. (Bonus point if it works for my GSD)
I don't know what GSD means I'M SORRY! But here is the cutest alligator plushie. Like if I was a dog I would legit want it for myself.
I stumbled across this adorable squirrel set thing and I am internally squeeing at the cuteness.
Okay by now I really want a dog. Somebody send me one pronto. Here's an adorable taco plush, because heck it's cute and funny and I really want a puppy.

8.) Something that is not useful, but so awesome you must have it.
Oh boy, you shouldn't have asked. It's the most expensive thing on my wishlist, and it's beautiful. I know, I know, it's a book, but it's more than that! It's a HUGE book with photographs from my favorite, most-loved movie series! Seriously. Words cannot describe how cool of a book it is. And there's a limited number of them made, and there's only 3 left in stock. But I digress. It's not what one would consider useful, but it sure is awesome.
Wait, what's that? I haven't mentioned Kylo Ren in 2 minutes? Oh boy, better change that. Yes, I love Kylo Ren. I'm aware that is a touchy subject with people. I don't care. I have a shrine in my room for Kylo Ren. This pillow is not what most people would call necessary, though honestly I would probably beg to differ.
Pretty much everyone can agree that Funko Pops aren't necessary, but they are so much fun oh my gosh. Like, for instance, this somewhat expensive yet cool Darth Vader Pop.

9.) A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why?
I love movies. With a passion. But my favorite movies of all time, are The Hunger Games movies. If that wasn't evident by the massive expensive book above, then I don't know what is. But honestly, they're great movies. I know they're not for everyone, but they hold a special place in my heart.
Someone recently gifted me Moulin Rouge, and honestly it is so good. So, I also, of course, recommend that. It has singing, great vocalists, great songs, and a great plot. It also has Ewan McGregor, so what's not to like?
I saw Logan (the final Wolverine movie in theaters, and it is such a beautiful movie. Very sad, but very beautiful. The best Wolverine movie in my opinion. 10/10 would watch/cry again.
Another great futuristic movie is V for Vendetta. It's a well-known movie, and it's very good.
If you're into horror, I love the most recent Carrie movie. I know it's not for everyone, but I really liked it.

10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain.
I mean, I think it's pretty self-explanatory, but this bat would make a great weapon in the apocalypse. Also, if you're into leading an army and "saving" people, this bat will probably get you there. (Ahem I totally didn't just buy this bat for myself cough.)
Not sure if bright green is the way to go in the apocalypse, but I'm sure a bow and arrow set would keep you alive for a little bit. Especially if you happen to be Daryl Dixon (though I guess he technically has a crossbow... I digress).
Don't try and tell me that in the apocalypse you won't get peckish. Everyone knows that snacks will be the first to go. Better stock up on those sweet, sweet snacks.

I may be too late for my comment to be seen, but I'll answer the questions I can to the best of my ability.

  1. The difference in price is partly the skins, and partly that they're often bundled with a game or two. Unless you can find a switch that's bundled with a game you're gonna get for less than the price of buying them separately, what I'd do is get a refurbished switch direct from Nintendo. It comes with the console, a pair of joy-cons, the dock that lets it display on the TV, the joy con grip, the AC adapter, an HDMI cable, and straps for the joy cons.

  2. Regarding accessories, a Pro controller is nice, but not necessary. A pair of joy cons in the grip that comes with the console should be enough. I'd highly recommend a case for it if you ever plan on using it as a handheld, and if you foresee needing to charge it while out of the house with any frequency, probably an additional AC charger, since the switch doesn't play nicely with 3rd party USB-C. Also, I'd recommend getting a sleeve for the dock to prevent scratches on the screen when inserting it. This is the one I have, but if you're not concerned with aesthetics you can get a plain one for like 1/3 the price.

  3. The new Zelda is an absolute masterpiece, but is far too complex for a 6 y/o. If you're looking for a fun game you can play with her, or that she can play with her friends I'd recommend Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I didn't start playing Mario Kart until I was 9 but it was my then 6 year old now step brother who introduced me to it, so it shouldn't be too complex. I'd also recommend Super Mario Odyssey. The Mario platformers tend to be outstanding games while still simple enough that children can understand them, and Super Mario Odyssey is the best among them. And I'm saying that as someone who was playing Super Mario Sunshine when I was 6. As one last kinda-recommendation, I recommend Kirby Star Allies if you can find a copy for ~$30. It's not a bad game, it's a good one but it's just severely lacking in content for what it is. I got 3/4 of the way through the game in two short play sessions.

  4. Mario Party is a multiplayer party game meant for local groups of people. I haven't personally played it, but I've heard it's among the best in the series. Mario Space Odyssey is a portmanteau of Super Mario Odyssey and 2001: A Space Odyssey. The latter is a sci-fi movie by Stanley Kubrick, and also the book by Arthur C. Clarke that the movie is based on. The former is a fantastic 3D platformer/collectathon. You say you're a playstation guy, if you've played Spyro, or even heard of Super Mario 64 you'll have a good idea what Super Mario Odyssey is about.
u/Mik0ri · 3 pointsr/begleri

A couple things are noteworthy:

The design you're looking at is common elsewhere for cheaper. Admittedly, it's a great design so feel free to go for it, but know that there are alternatives.

You're looking at brass/copper, which aren't the top of the line in terms of begleri materials. They're good, but they tarnish quickly, have a strong odor, they aren't hypoallergenic (you should make sure you aren't part of the 10% of people with a nickel allergy before touching them or you'll break out in an itchy rash) and they're frankly the cheaper alternative when it comes to metal weights. Some people love them, because the patina is classy, etc, but this is all important to know, just so your decision is informed.

Most high quality begleri are made of titanium. And, as you can see, the website you're looking at does titanium for a largely elevated price. Why titanium? It's odorless, hypoallergenic, and bloody indestructible - denting and dinging much less than metals like copper. It'll last forever. Not that others won't! But it's always going to look the least mangled compared to other sets. Other places do titanium much cheaper, and your guy's titanium set is only 25 grams anyway.

Which brings me to the weight. Weight is very important, especially for beginners! Too light and it will be impossible to control because it won't have enough momentum - you'll flop it around and feel powerless. Too heavy and your hands will ache like hell in the morning. It varies between people, but generally, the lowest you wanna go is 26, and the highest is probably ~30 til you've practiced. Your guy sells 35 gram sets, and 25 gram sets, but nothing in between. Both of those are probably okay weights, and I doubt it would significantly impede your progress if you got one, but one will just be very heavy and one will be very light, which is... fine? But not ideal.

All of that said:

Those ones look nice. If you're okay with the smell, tarnish, scratches and much-heavier-than-average weight, it legitimately looks worthy of your purchase. It's a great design.

Like others said, Aroundsquare has lots of safer choices, in nice solid odorless titanium, that'll last forever. But they also only do certain designs, none of which are like the one you're looking for.

ALSO, seriously, make sure you don't have a nickel allergy, that's really important. It'll save you a lot of money and a lot of itching if you do.

I don’t know what your dress looks like, but there are definitely “won’t break the bank” ways to add unique touches to your dress to make it stand out from your sisters.

  • Satin or rhinestone belt
  • A long elaborate veil (maybe even floor or even cathedral length?)
  • A fascinatior for all day or to change into just for the reception. (I wore a feather one to my wedding and loved it, definitely a fun and unique way to spice up your outfit)
  • Shoes dyed in your main wedding color
  • Super sparkly shoes
  • Unique jewelry (bold drop earrings are always a great statement- you can find gorgeous CZ earrings for less than $50)
  • Hem your dress to tea length (if possible with the cut and style of your dress). It’s a super cute and unique look
  • Ombré/dip dye the bottom hem of your dress
  • Wear a colored petticoat
  • Colorful/patterned underskirt that peaks out when you walk (or you can angle the front hem of your dress to a high-low hem so it is always seen)

A fidget toy might be nice! After looking around, I got one of the vortex balls, because it seems like it would be weighty, fun to play with, and less likely to run away from me than one of the slidey/foldy ring toys... though I caved and got one of those too!

If you do decide to go with one of the vortex balls, check whether you're getting aluminum or stainless steel. That's a detail I only noticed as I was fetching the link, and I had a moment of alarm because I was afraid I got the aluminum one. (I want mine to be heavy.)

Assuming the comments are trustworthy, people really seem to like this seller, and they appear to be genuinely hand-made, too, for what it is worth. The vortex ball also comes in all sorts of colors and could be seen as decorative, too!

Also, I like the idea of the Tile -- tech is fun, and that is supremely useful! I might stay away from the planner and instead get a giftcard to someplace. That is speaking as someone with er... attachment issues with office supplies. Your friend might not be as picky as I am though, so it's just a thought.

You might also get them a dot-gridded journal, like this or this (I've also heard great things about Leuchtturm notebooks, but they are more expensive and I don't have experience with them) -- and then put a post-it note on the cover with written on it. ADHD-ers tend to love that journal system, at least for a good while, and it is extremely flexible, customizable, and not specific to the notebook you use. (Though the dot-grid allows for the best of a clean appearance and straight lines.) So no concern about planner incompatibility -- and no concern about mourning the waste of a dated planner that was never used. (hangs head for a moment of guilty silence)

For post-its, I enjoy the full adhesive ones, since they can be used for labels and all sorts of things, without a flappy nonadhesive edge (when I am really in a mood, I'll snip off the very narrow nonadhesive edge on these -- and they can also be cut into smaller pieces for smaller labels). You might be better looking in a local office supply store, though -- the colors on Amazon are not always the colors you end up with. (sour look)

Anyhow, hope this helps!

The thing about damaged hair is usually once we stop using the silicone laden shampoo/conditioner we're looking at our actual hair. It's damaged sometimes. There are things we can do, like the ACV rinse to help, and oils and such but I think eventually it's probably better to just start cutting off the damaged parts or as much as we can until it's all fantastic healthy hair. I spent a lot of time trying to fix my damaged ends... I wanted my hair long and I didn't want to cut off that last 3 inches. So much time and money. Ugh. Anyway in the meantime, I'm thinking the ACV rinse sounds good, closing the hair shaft etc and some light oils. I like shampoo bars though, I dont know about chagrin valley as I'm an ACV Bar gal but the idea is the same, I presume. Natural ingredients that help your sulfates and chemicals etc. If you decide you don't like the chagrin soap check out the shampoo bar I get on Amazon. I like it because it does a great job and I don't have to do the rinse afterwards cuz the acv is in it already. One less thing. :-)

u/friendlyforreal · 4 pointsr/SebDerm

The best one I've found is the ACV bar from Wildlands. All natural, vegan product that soothes the scalp. It took me about two weeks to adjust to the shampoo, but my itchies are gone and my hair looks great too. I just love it. I get it on Amazon here. Good luck!

u/BeckysMamma · 5 pointsr/30PlusSkinCare

This one isn't specifically for the eye area but I really like how it goes on my skin. I put it on right after I use bakuchiol. I follow up with a primer. Even after using all this my makeup goes on perfectly. The Purito sunscreen (PURITO Centella Green Level Safe Sun SPF50+ PA++++,Broad Spectrum UVA1,2,UVB/oil-free suncream/non-nano system, Acne-prone skin) feels good but isn't moisturizing but the bakuchiol is moisturizing enough so it works out. I highly recommend it!

u/blueberry96 · 5 pointsr/Naturalhair

Best advice I can give you is start using the ACV bar. It's a solid shampoo bar that is just amazing. Vegan product with no sulfates, no preservatives, just lots of apple cider vinegar, neem, shea butter, castor, etc. And this shampoo bar lathers like crazy! The smell is a little weird, but it after rinsing it smells great. It took about a week to adjust to using a shampoo bar, but my dandruff & itch are pretty much gone. :-)

u/rachel32socal · 3 pointsr/NoPoo

Well, I was using a conditioner, but with this shampoo bar I've stopped needing conditioner (I think it's the shea butter that helps with that). My hair comes out with good volume & squeaky clean (think it's the ACV that's built in to this stuff). So right now I just shampoo when necessary, then hit it with some product. GL!

edit: Oops, didn't see that you'd asked for a link, sorry! Here you go:

u/MyDogsHuman · 3 pointsr/30PlusSkinCare

I've been using that I get on Amazon and its been great on my skin. I got it about a month ago and its really working on my freckles and generally brightening my skin. I've tried retinoids in the past and it always made me break out in a rash. Like immediately. This stuff just feels so good on the skin and really moisturizes. No dryness. It seems to last a long time cuz I've been using it every morning after I wash my face and there's still like half a bottle. I'm not sure how it works except its supposed to support cellular turnover etc. So glad I discovered it since I really don't like using retinoids. I haven't had any purging.

u/NateT86 · 2 pointsr/tressless

Here you go:

I think someone from UK said that shipping is free when two bars are ordered. Gotta love free shipping. :-)

u/Mirthless92 · 4 pointsr/tressless

Not sure if these specialty shampoos actually work, but my thoughts are that it's at least worth trying. What can I lose using a good shampoo, right? Tried regenepure, didn't love it. So right now I'm using the ACV bar which was recommended. Lathers up nice, my scalp feels great and it's got all the things I'm supposed to be using. I still use Niz twice a week, but this on my off-days.

u/scrungusdermont · 2 pointsr/autism

I'm in a similar boat! I've been using a lot of different fidgets, I try to keep them with me everywhere. I also have a service dog who's basically a big stim/weighted blanket.

My recommendation is to immerse yourself in fidget toys and sensory gear, as much as you can get your hands on. I borrowed my siblings noise cancelling headphones and they changed my life, now I'm lucky enough to have my own pair. is my favorite website and is very reasonably priced.

This is a customizable one and I love it, I have my own and it's one of my favorites

u/Estrella37 · 5 pointsr/NaturalBeauty

If your dermatologist wants you to take a break from retinol, then bakuchiol is definitely a good way to go. Really gentle. I'm using this one by Wildland Botanicals. I apply it throughout the day, massaging it into my crows feet, my 11's, and that annoying crepe-like skin just beneath my eyes. Good luck!

u/Steel_Lynx · 2 pointsr/fidgettoys

There is a game controller fidget that is getting hot. Not a d-pad but close.
Also, there are more than spinners and cubes to fidget with. Check out Möbii (custom colors might make for a cute present, REDDIT10 discount code) or bike chain flip fidgets too. You'll get bonus points for originality ;)

u/Miapop2000 · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

So I have an Xbox that I don’t really play much but I keep a cover on it so dust doesn’t get into the fan or anything. My switch is usually in its case, but if I kept it in the dock I would get a cover for the dock as well.

Something like this switch dock cover is what I’m talking about. There are probably many more out there that do the job, but that’ll keep your switch from getting dusty. Only issue will be remembering to remove the cover when playing docked.

u/luvs2p33outdoors · 6 pointsr/tressless

Sounds like a solid plan, tbh. You won't need a conditioner with the ACV bar. Along with saw palmetto it's got Shea Butter, which leaves your scalp feeling great. You'll want that to deal with the itch. It helps me out a lot.

u/LivPlusPlus · 2 pointsr/MtF
u/Harbinger955 · 2 pointsr/tressless

I sort of agree. I stopped using Nizoral, and I definitely don't think it's good for daily use. But yeah, that ACV bar helps. It's now on Amazon Prime too (really fucking love Amazon Prime).

u/quietgamer · 10 pointsr/asktransgender

I got this pendant a while back after someone else posted it on one of these subs:

Mostly because I just like it, but now I'm hoping it'll be a nice, subtle signal to anyone who anyone who recognizes the meaning in those colors.

u/Bobloblaw878 · 0 pointsr/SebDerm

Yeah sure, everyones different. And if you haven't been to r/nopoo then wait to judge - its not about not shampooing. Its about alternatives to harsh detergent/sulfate type shampoos. Most people know you clean your hair somehow. lol Alternatives. To chemical based/crappy cheap shampoos. For instance I use this a couple times a week and it's somewhat natural and has antifungal properties. It doesnt strip my hair/scalp so I don't over produce oil on my scalp. Yes it's subjective. But no one's recommending not ever cleaning one's hair

u/crotchetyoldcynic · 1 pointr/notebooks

I have two that were made by OleksynPrannyk in both dark blue and dark brown leather with my initials on them that I really like. The basic cover is around $30. He also sells several other versions on Amazon with card slots, pen holders, etc. at very reasonable prices.

He also makes a front pocket wallet for about $15 that I wouldn't be without. I have about eight credit cards, drivers license, concealed carry cards plus a couple others in it plus some walking around money (WARM) and it fits easily in the front pocket of my jeans.

I'm looking for help with a console to setup my turntable with some record storage. I have a space next to the couch that I'm looking to fill with a console to house my turntable/amp/preamp and some records. Looking for a nice piece of furniture in the $600 range, and it needs to be roughly 40-50" wide. Here's the problem, what every I find, outside of the really expensive pieces, are either too shallow for my amp or too wide for the space. Anyone have setup that houses their amps and turntable for a reasonable cost. My amp is and Adcom GFA 555ii so its 17" deep which is the real killer. I feel like I'm going to have to build something my self, but my woodworking skills, although above average, are not good enough to makes something of the quality I'm looking for.

Best ones I've found so far are these two:

CB2 Dean (But I think the amp would look ugly just sitting on the bottom shelf exposed.

Hairpin Legs Storage (would like it to a little wider for amp and more records)

Thanks in advance.

I play with thinking putty a lot and also kinetic sand believe it or not (but only at home because it’s a bit messy. I just dump some on a smallish tray and mess with it while reading textbooks and stuff. The texture really helps). I also have this fidget. Sometimes I’ll also use a head massager which distracts one hand while also supposedly helps your scalp and feels good :)

I would empty out your pockets in front of you. Then start adding items in your pockets that you absolutely need for your day or trip.

Unless you stay at home all day you probably need:

  • Keys ---> unless you have a number pad or something for your home
  • Wallet or combination of ID cards + maybe a few bills
  • phone

Anything else is probably extra. That being said I carry a bag almost everywhere to carry a few other items.

In my pockets I always have:

  • wallet
  • phone + headphones
  • lip balm
  • keys

check out Every Day Carry for some ideas. You might benefit from a [case] ( like this to organise your things.

I do not think the extension would be an issue, but you should ensure that the extension cable you are using is certified or whatever.

Alternatively, to avoid dock-scratch, you can get something like this.

I just started recently. I bought this belgeri off Amazon and made a monkey fist one myself out of paracord. Both of them handle fine, though adjusting the length on my homemade monkey fist one is a bit tricky. If you have washers or nuts at home, you can make your own pretty easily too.
