Happy Zambambo! ♥

I would really super duper love these roller blades! I want to get into skating for fun and to help me lose weight, and as a bonus I can take the kids while they ride their bikes! Win win, fitness and fun for everyone! :)

I hope your birthday is lovely ♥ XO! Thanks for the contest!

Most skate sizing charts only mention length, with very few making mention of width-wise sizing (Powerslide and Razors being the only examples I can think of, off-hand), and there are none that I can think of that mention height/depth-wise sizing.

One plausible theory is derived from the statements here, that "90 percent of European shoe sizes don't come in multiple widths" and "Most European sized shoes only come in medium width", and that the same is likely generally true of skates - that is, that most skate boots (many of which use, or include, EU sizing information) are built to a more-or-less medium width.

(The same page also links to an article about extra depth shoes.)

I would recommend going to your nearest shoe store and asking to use their Brannock Device - that would get you his exact foot length and width (as well as arch length, which could be useful in selecting aftermarket footbeds/insoles, if needed).

Also, something to note is that a softboot skate will generally be more forgiving of any peculiarities in one's foot shape, so using a softboot skate (something like this, or this, or this) instead of a hardboot (like the skates mentioned in the opening post) might be a better fit for your husband's feet if he requires significantly greater-than-average height/depth (that is, more than can be gained by removing the footbed in the original skates, and/or waiting for the liner to compress & "break-in") and/or if there are any other peculiarities to the shape of his feet.

As far as potential vendors, that list includes (but is not limited to) Inline Warehouse, ProSkaters Place, InlineSkates(dot)Com, Shop Task, and Thuro Skate Shop.

Okay so,

Figuring out the sizing has been interesting lol. Being a size 11 foot sure as hell doesnt help.

  1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071X2Q2KD/ref=crt_ewc_img_olp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3H8ADXOCP7JIK
    - Has some cool reviews about it. Price is great. Color looks beautiful. Sizing ima have to go 1.5 bigger unless I find it else where. Looks very durable and comfortable, the vented boots is nice considering I live in the Nevada heat; any cooling helps! Comes with 85A Wheels, rail is removable and interchangeable with other styles/setups. $230. Available via Prime; so could return if the big size is a problem

  2. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0XRVX0/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3H8ADXOCP7JIK

    - Believe this is a newer model then the F6, for $30 more with a similar style as the F6; and also has a raving
review; I would be wiling to test them out. beautiful design. Has my sizes. $250. Not prime eligible. So sizing
would have to hopefully be right.

  3. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GBVYN6N/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AI3ODVS58VYZ2

    - Seems to be built by a company that really put time and effort into the blades. Seems very well made. has a
great design. some cool color options to choose from. its the most expensive of all the setups at $279. (lol,
just realized the logo looked familiar, same company that made my boots. the dude they use on amazon
listing was same dude on my box for blades lol. was wondering what felt familiar about this item.). 85A
wheels. interchangeable setup. they have my "size" but they claim to run a bit small. and they dont have a
size bigger then what I would "need". This does look like a great setup. Not prime eligible.

So these are the three options.

    What do we think fellas?

3 wheeled skate are usually 3 wheel because the wheels are extra big. Tall wheels are hard to ride, the center of gravity is higher. 80mm and under wheels(no smaller than 76). 4 of them.. The most impotant part of a skate is that it fits right. It sounds like you should get a fitness skate. Have a skate fit right is probably more important than anything. Go to the store and start trying them on.. find one that fits snug but doest have any spots digging into you. make sure your heel stays firm in the heel cup. If you don't have a decent selection you will have to buy online and be ready to return them unless they fit well!! this would be a good skate for you if it fits. https://www.amazon.com/Roces-Mens-Veni-Inline-Skates/dp/B00VVK0PQM

[General] I'm a 30/yo female and I just picked up these from amazon for specifically blading on a local wood floored rink (really nice place, Semoran Skateway in Orlando) but they have a black brake on one side, which isn't allowed in the rink because it will mark the floor. Not sure if that is common.

I was able to use an alan wrench to remove the brake, but the rivets are the kind that were not meant to be removed, and now my last wheel is just off on one skate. How can I replace the rivet if I can't find the information about what they are? There's not a lot if information available on the skate itself or the website and I am pretty new so I don't even know if I am looking at the right place or what the info I need is even called, or if my terminology is off.

I can create a video to show you what I mean as well if that would help. Thanks in advance!

If by gamma you mean this

https://www.amazon.de/Powerslide-940171-Herren-Inline-Skate-Gamma/dp/B00VJZ5GKE

then that'S a 185 mm mount and wont fit the imperiial.

I assume this is the beta

https://bladeville.com/powerslide-beta-243-4x80mm.html

I don't know anything about it, but it seems a good price (was first hit on google). However, not sure if single axles are samme as imperial, so you may need to buy new axles as well. (may be a good idea to email PS or whereever you shop)

Personally i think you should treat yourself to these skates they are high priority for you and you deserve them. I know it is over $50 but if you decide to buy them, I will pay the difference as a birthday gift to you :)
