  1. Skinny

  2. American Eagle jegging

  3. $39.95-49.95 depending on the wash -- I tend to buy mine on sale anywhere between $15 and $30, depending on clearance availability and earned rewards

  4. I usually take a 4 short, but can fit into a 2 short depending on the materials. Measurements for 4S -- Waist: 26.5", hip: 36", leg opening: 10.75", inseam: 28". The 28" inseam is crucial for me because I'm 5'3" so 29" inseams are just a tad too long, creating the ankle scrunching which I hate. They also occasionally have ankle versions of their jeggings which have a 27" inseam.

  5. Various light, medium, dark washes, including a pitch black color, grey and a couple of distressed designs. I own several pairs, including the clean rinse, black, a light blue that is no longer available and have just ordered the medium tinted ankle jegging for fall.

  6. Low rise. Website says 8.25" inches in the front, 13.5" rise in the back <-- the higher back rise is super helpful for not flashing underwear when sitting! The jegging also comes in a "hi-rise" (their medium rise) and a "sky high rise" (their high waisted rise).

  7. It varies. The solid dark wash (clean rinse) is 65% Cotton, 23% Viscose, 11% Polyester, 1% Elastane, but the black is 65% Cotton, 23% Rayon, 11% Polyester, 1% Spandex and the medium tinted ankle pair is 99% Cotton, 1% Elastane.

  8. I've had the clean rinse and black for just under a year now with dozens and dozens of wears.

  9. I love the fit, hands down. These jeggings are great at conforming to my petite, ruler-shaped body and the leg opening is wonderfully fitted. They do stretch out a bit as the day goes on but not enough to be baggy per se, and they do tend to snap back into shape after as little as a day of non-wear. The clean rinse stretches out more than my black pair. My lightest blue pair run a bit larger and stretch out much more (I sometimes need a belt for them) but it's actually great because I've repurposed them as almost-boyfriend jeans.

  10. Honestly, I don't wash my jeans too often, but all of them have held up well and not faded much at all.

  11. Clean rinse aka dark wash. Light blue.

  12. Would repurchase for sure! They are my favorite affordable skinny jeans and can be found on sale all the time.

  13. Definitely try a couple of pairs on before you buy (or take advantage of their free shipping + returns on jeans right now) as the different washes can fit slightly differently. Also, the jeggings have these half-front pockets which aren't those fake sewn on pockets but are only big enough to fit a lip balm or some folded cash.

  14. Skinny

  15. Levi's 535 legging jean in Night Out.

  16. Retail for $46, I bought them for $35 on Amazon.

  17. I take a 5 short in these. Measurements -- Waist: 25.5-26.5", hip: 35.5-36.5", inseam: 30", leg opening: 9.5". I would say this pair runs closer to the lower end of those measurements, and is more of a 29" inseam than 30". The ankle is super skinny! Even a little hard to put on sometimes.

  18. Comes in a fuckton of washes and some colors if you check places like Amazon or Zappos.

  19. Low rise. Site says 8".

  20. 84% Cotton, 14% Polyester, 2% Elastane

  21. I've only had them a few months and it's been too hot to wear jeans so I've worn them maybe 5 times total.

  22. Though they are called legging jeans, they feel much more substantial, like actual jeans. They're not very stretchy so sitting in them for a long time with legs crossed can be uncomfortable, but they keep their shape well and don't really stretch out during the day.

  23. Haven't.. washed them yet..

  24. Here's one fit and another with them cuffed.

  25. If they are on sale, I might repurchase. They are a smidge tight on me but I think another size up would be too loose fitting. I'm actually hoping they stretch out a tad over time, but they are quite nice in how substantial they feel. The inseam is a bit long for me, but they don't look terribly scrunched at the ankles and work well cuffed due to their skinny leg opening.

Sounds like fun.

  • I've always been interested in women's clothes, especially shoes. I only put 1+1 together and identified as a crossdresser around 11 or 12. I'm now 18.

  • One person, my cousin who is the cloest thing I have to a brother, but he lives states away. He's the only one I can talk to about it and he's accepting. My mom stumbled across my crossdressing and had some freaky breakdown, purged my shit, and assumed it was done and over. That is why I have not told her that it's not done and over.

  • I feel pretty, oh so pretty. Idk, I like the idea of being beautiful. I see cool technology, I want it. I see a beautiful woman, I kind of want to be that too. Doesn't mean I dislike my life, but there's nothing like a dress and a pair of heels. Unfortunately, whenever I do dress, 99% of the time it becomes sexual.

  • I try to dress with some amount of class. That means classy heels, untorn jeans, beautiful blouses over a white cami, cute red summer dresses, etc. I get everything from Amazon.

  • I feel like I don't pass because I haven't really tried in public yet, or gone all the way at home with makeup and hair. I have a positive outlook though because people are already mistaking me for a woman when in the presence of other women due to my long hair. I'll be in public in total guy-mode and people will refer to me as ma'am or say "I'll be right with you ladies" at restaurants.

  • I... don't know? I love to wear the clothes but I'm still me, but I'm definitely a more feminine version of me so...?

  • I have not crossdressed in public officially. I've worn flats out once but it was half-assed under some jeans and at night and nobody stared, but I hardly consider that crossdressing in public.

  • I'm straight. I'd never want to fuck another guy, however some role reversal with a woman sounds... kinky fun.

So, I agree with the online Old Navy recommendations, because tall shirts are the best. For their jeans, I usually go down a size if they stretch a lot, so I don't have to deal with saggy Jean's by the end of the day.

I'm not sure how tall they are, but Kohls online, JcPenny online, and Target online all have talls available. The selection seems to vary from time to time though, because I know I have tall bootcut from target, and they only have skinnies available right now.

Also, don't look down on the stereotypical mom jean brands, like Gloria Vanderbilt. I don't know how tall her talls, are but those jeans are hella comfortable and cute in the right cut.

But, my biggest recommendation is Amazon. My favorite pair of jeans is from there, and they're actually a little too long for me. But they're simple and fit perfect. l(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073S9FHZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MWvFDbP4SZSFP)

I also get tall leggings on Amazon, and can find longer maxi skirts and dresses too.

I also have a 27 in waist but a 45 in hip, jeans with stretch are amazing, but it's still hard to find ones that fit, I just bought three levis that fit really well in a size 8

I also have a few from fashion nova because they were cheap and stretchy, but the three jeans I bought in the same size, two of them fit and one is a little too tight, so their sizing isn't super accurate

then some other ones from amazon, but have a super high waist, I'm 5'8" and they are still very high on me, I bought a size large

Okay, so the title of these jeans is going to appear to contradict your request, but these jeans have worked for me. They're Gloria Vanderbilt "Women's Rail Straight" jeans. I bought them in the deep wine, taupe, and black colors, and they're great. They are actual jeans, just dyed in different colors. I also can't go slimmer than straight-legged (pear-shape in the house, whattup), and these are perfect for me. I was in between sizes and decided to size up. The fit was great, because it was straight but not super tight, "skinny," or unflattering. Below is the link on Amazon. I got mine at Costco for hecka cheap a few months ago.

Girl, the struggle is real. Hope this helps!

Update: Just found them on Costco's website. Unfortunately, it looks like they sold out of some of the other colors.

Thank you!

I used to buy "whatever fits" jeans and was never picky about the brand or cut (I was just happy to be able to get anything over my hips!), but these jeans have changed my life. They are so flattering in the tummy, hips, and bum area. Not only that, but they're ridiculously comfortable, too -- they don't cut into my belly when I sit down like some similarly form-fitting jeans do. I'll never go back! The brand is NYDJ and here's a link to the particular style I love http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000NWO9YS

They're not the cheapest, but they're worth it for both the flattering fit and comfort.

u/pneradactyll · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

This might sound weird, but I've had really good luck with the fit of these GV jeans (I'm petite as well) that I found at BJs (a price club). Don't normally buy clothes there, but was looking for cheap work clothing--jeans that I could pass off as dress pants, and these fit the bill. High waist. Petite. Straight leg. And they don't bag at the knees on me like they do on the person in the picture. They are a bit more snug from my exp. They're cheap and they've held up well. Not particularly fashionable; just a normal jean.

For something more on trend, these Madewell high rises are my favorite jeans I've bought lately (for the same purpose...jeans that pass for dress pants). The 9" high rise is not too high for me (I'm 5'3") and they're not super long. I cuff them once and they look fine. They are skinnies though, so do have a bit of a taper.

I bought a pair of Levi's jeggings off Amazon and they are amazing post-partum! (I'm 3 months pp) They have a high waisted smoothing belly panel, look just like skinny jeans, but fit and feel like comfortable yoga pants. I love them, and feel a little more put together than when I just wear black leggings.

As far as not wanting it to be a "mash up" of pieces, good luck. These are custom costumes and not readily available pieces. You'll have to buy separate pieces, do some constructing on your own, and hope they match up and look ok.

you can tell from this image that its a coat and pants.

I think wearing this jacket (remove the pocket buttons for a cleaner look. Hell, remove ALL the buttons and add some Velcro or snaps inside the "fly" to seal up more cleanly) will work best for your purposes. I can't find a stand-collar style jacket or even just zipper-down bomber in two-tone, and I can't find any in white in dyeable materials. Your best bet is probably this jacket.

there are lots of patterns for shoulder pads online that you can follow with foam and cover with a fabric of your choosing so that the size/color matches the costumes (you can see the shoulder pads are a shinier material than the jacket). Attach with craft spikes

For the pants, wear a split-color jean

this mask

these boots

You could always go with this instead and remove the head so as to form a collar (you would then need to buy a different morph hood for the head, in black) and then do the shoulder pad thing. Much easier. You'll likely run into issues with the amount of lycra/spandex in that suit in terms of adding shoulder pads, etc. Its unlikely they'll sit where you want them to. You're much better off using something that won't stretch, like the cotton jacket above.

Unless you're going to a poppy-themed party, no one is going to know what your costume is, so its not like anyone will be scrutinizing the verisimilitude of it. You might have to settle for "the best I can get on short notice".

Are you looking for bootcut, wide-leg, relaxed fit?

In searches I would try either "distressed" or I've seen "Rip and Repair" for jeans like that. I found a few, they're not skinny, but I don't know if they're what you're looking for one, two, and three these are all boyfriend or relaxed fit. I'm seeing a lot of these in skinny and relaxed fit, but while I am seeing ripped jeans in bootcut styles I'm not seeing the look where they are ripped and have been patched underneath. One thing you might try is getting a pair of ripped jeans in whatever style you want, or even ripping a pair there are a lot of tutorials online for how to do it, and then an iron on patch kit to create the look you want.

I'm 4'11 I had to get these jeans hemmed a bit but with heels/wedges they really elongate the legs. They're also super comfortable and stretchy. I ended up buying a few more pairs.

But like everyone else said, skinny jeans, mini or maxi skirts. Stay away from boxy tops.

u/rosycoloredglass · 1 pointr/findfashion

I could be wrong, but they look like straight leg jeans to me--similar to skinny jeans, but looser around the ankle. These seem to be similar in color from JC Penney, another pair from Old Navy (the Lakeshore rinse), as well as some on Amazon. Hope that helps! :)

u/Hpta965 · 8 pointsr/Hidradenitis

Have you thought about wearing a dress,I have the same and quite often have to resort to dresses which works for me as long as I wear cotton tights with it.

I also have a fair few pairs of coated leggings that have a cotton inner lining,or jeggings which have pockets that look like jeans but are actually leggings with no harsh seams

Also most of my tops are tunic tops that look great with these kind of bottoms and are loose enough for my skin to breathe as I have it under my arms and breasts too

Hope this helps and good luck

Edit-I creeped on OP’s profile and realised she was American so updated the links (or attempted to!) to clothes available in the US

u/reoshinjuki · 2 pointsr/feminineboys

If you're just starting out it's best to buy outfits together rather than random pieces. Saves you from things that never get worn because they don't match anything.

I just quickly rummaged through Amazon to put this together. Tbh I find shopping and putting outfits together kinda fun. 😄

https://www.amazon.com/Signature-Levi-Strauss-Gold-Label/dp/B07FCT95ZF/

https://www.amazon.com/Sarin-Mathews-Womens-Patchwork-Blouses/dp/B07RSK8H1W/

Ideas for shoes could be sneakers, loafers, flats, booties, (probably lots more too)

Don't be afraid of colours! It's a common trap to buy everything black due to its ease of matching everything, including itself.

It depends on what your style or theme is. Shop around online, people watch for style cues you can borrow from them. Go with clothes you're comfortable in at first, it doesn't have to be a sudden change (but it also can be)

Jvina I think is how you spell it. They are packed up in my “when I get my body back” clothes but I’m pretty sure that’s the brand.

Edit: brand is Jvini- lots of stretch, found some on amazon. It says skinny jeans, I am a curvy person even when I’m not preggo like now and the skinny was actually pretty flattering. Here’s the link:

Vibrant Brand jeans from Amazon. The rise is quite high, the flare legs are well shaped and they are definitely stretchy. Two warnings: They run small so check reviews for sizing, and at 5'9" they were long enough for 1-2inch heels for me. Perfect for me, but a shorter person might have to hem them. Hope that helps!

ETA: Totally misread your budget, sorry! Looks like certain colors/sizes are as low as $33 so maybe you'll get lucky!

u/n71095 · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

AE jeggings are pretty good, but I've found Levi's jeggings have the tightest ankles out of any jeggings I've ever tried. I have the 535s which are junior sized, but these look pretty promising as well.

u/Iophobic · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I think the outfit looks nice overall! I can kinda see the sweater seam but it's not distracting, I actually find it a little interesting.

I see what you mean about the jeans and boots but it doesn't look terrible. Maybe wearing a pair that's tighter in the calf/ankle? I like to wear my Levi's 535 leggings with ankle boots since they're basically glued to my legs and don't create awkward bulges.

I would try this outfit out with a solid tee. The stripes don't look bad but tucking it in creates weird lines. I think [thin] horizontal stripes can actually be flattering (or maybe I tell myself this to justify the gross amount of striped shirts I own)

u/lemon-s · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I haven't had that specific cut but I've had a few pairs of black jeans and jeggings from Levi's. I have the same ankle issues and the 535 leggings fit well in that respect, the ones I have now, not so much.

Both pairs of jeggings faded in about a year, the jeans seem to be less prone to that. Didn't have any issues with either stretching out.

u/IceQueenAbby · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

Going to jump on the Levi's train. I love the 529 series, since they are mid-rise and fit really well in the back. They're the only jeans I get!

u/carolofthebells · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

This is the true answer! I have the same problem, and similar dimensions - you need to go for curvy fit jeans, and Levi's Curve ID are the dream.

Even just normal Levi's in a curvy fit (529) will help. I buy mine at JCPenney. They don't have a lot of in-store variety when it comes to length, but try online! I found these bootcuts on Amazon.
