If you're planning on working long hours in this desk chair (i.e. setting up a home office) I'd say heavily weigh ergonomics/comfort over style. Something like the Pascal Chair is super popular and looks good, but I can't imagine it's comfortable to work in for more than a couple of hours.

With that said, the Herman Miller Aeron and the Steelcase Leap are both very well-regarded, good-looking office chairs that also put a priority on ergonomics. I can personally vouch for the Aeron being comfortable and looking good.

At $500 you won't be able to get either new, but if you live in any decent-sized city/metro area I'd check Craigslist and see if there's any office furniture liquidation places nearby - gently-used Aerons/Leaps get offloaded for < $500 all the time.

On Amazon. Both were super cheap.

I have some slightly dated studio monitors and a DAC, I pulled them off the setup...because they are too loud to be used regularly. Looking at getting the G506 not too sure. Also, my chair blows....i sit so low, so increasing the monitor is not the issue right now. I need chair help.

Thanks for your feedback <3

Lightweight, you can move it around the stage without getting your hand caught, comfortable and doesn’t look like a folding chair.

I guess the wording was vague there. No, I'm not going to buy the Eames Lounge. I'm going to get a $63 Eames-style armchair that my cousin has and is a fan of. And the Lack is just a side table, which I'll admit I don't care very much about.

Thank you for your help!

Looks like it's a replica, real one cost 399 on Herman Miller. Amazon sell a set of 2 for 130.

There was an arcade and a movie theater. You could smoke in the mall but usually not the stores. I remember the tobacco shop gave away licorice pipes to kids. There was a Woolworths with lunch counter.

In the basement was Rizzis’s but a much nicer version than the one in copley. Waiters had to wear ties and they played bad jazz. Inos also used to be in the mall basement. They sell high end ball gowns and now they’re down market street.

I guess I’m saying it was much more trashy (in some ways) and a lot classier. Now it’s all painted cream and normalized.

It's been three years since I moved into my non-furnished apartment and I'm as happy as can be with the furniture I have. What I needed to get past was wanting everything at once. I always had this idea of what my home will look like and it was hard at first not having it. I lived on a mattress on the floor for a year. Then I built my bed using these plans and my in-laws tools. I spent about $300, but $50 was renting a U-Haul to move it and $50 on new sheets and quilt. About a year later I finally got a dining room table and [chairs] (http://www.amazon.com/Ocean-Eames-Style-Eiffel-Dining/dp/B00BM9EH8Y/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hg_9). A year later I got a couch $600 off retail because it had a large dirt stain from the warehouse. (It was white but still easily cleaned off) I spent $230 there. I shopped like crazy for the cheapest things possible, but still the kind of things I wouldn't want to replace in another five years. Just go piece by piece and take your time.

Looks like these or some other brand. Surprisingly more affordable than one might think. We just got some (not this exact brand but 4/$90 on amazon- got lazy and can’t find the link we got) and they’ve been holding up well and look the same.

They're weirdly comfortable, nice and wide to accommodate my ample butt. Thus far, only sat on them with pants/sweats, but I'll report back in summer.

Edit: here's the link to the chairs on Amazon...only $150 for a set of 4!

I actually got the table at hobby lobby! And the chairs are from amazon!

u/TillaMina · 3 pointsr/AmateurRoomPorn

I ordered the chairs on Amazon !

Also, Colectivo serves as my other office ;)
