Congrats on the wedding!

My wife and I actually decided against labeling the bottles for our wedding. I understand there may be some hesitation to do it this way, but we had coozies available for our guests, so they weren't walking around with just plain brown bottles. We had our bartender set up a display of available drinks (5 beers, 3 wines) in an ice bucket, and the homebrews were labeled with brown hang tags over the neck. (https://www.amazon.com/KINGLAKE-Christmas-Vintage-Wedding-Retangle/dp/B00WHXQHVE/ref=pd_lpo_229_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PJEEBSGQ79A4VXR4CJMN). Bottlecaps were marked for the bartender. Additionally, my wife hand-wrote and framed a menu with descriptions that was displayed at the bar.

Fortunately, my wife is crafty and was able to make everything look really good. Our wedding was also at a farm - if your venue is nicer, doing your bottles this way may look out of place.

By the way, I really enjoyed brewing for our wedding. It will definitely be a big project, but it's worth it.

I got my paper from Amazon. They sell them in large rolls. I just cut a large sheet out and then cut it into a square. https://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Kraft-200-ft-Flame-0063064/dp/B0062TMTXE/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=rainbow+kraft+paper+roll+flame&qid=1564600017&s=gateway&sr=8-4

If you plan on getting it in another color, make sure the title says "rainbow kraft". Other rolls with the title "Artkraft" or "RUSPEPA" are rolls I haven't purchased before, I never tested them and I heard their paper is too thick. Rainbow kraft paper rolls, however, are very thin and durable, perfect for super complex origami. I have tried out paper from origami shop but their paper is too expensive and takes forever to ship out. This is honestly the perfect paper for origami and it's very cheap for a gigantic roll 48ft by 200ft.

I do a similar thing, but I use Kraft Tex fabric that I got on clearance at a local craft store. It's like paper, so it takes up less room in the pocket, but it's also like fabric and so is waterproof. I've even washed and dried it to give it a cool weathered look.

I loved the linked write up. I have cut up Avery notebook dividers, leather, and more from my tinkering of a pocket notevook before I settled on this one!

As a buyer, I would except the same thing as on Amazon, where marking as a gift means they omit the price from the packing slip.

As a seller of non-bulky items, I offer free kraft paper gift wrapping on all of my items & it delights gift-givers (and a giant-ass roll of kraft paper is only $20 )

we're doing the same thing (next week!) and i used these tags that came with twine. just wrote the name and table assignment underneath. i think they're pretty good size for a pint mason jar. and if the twine doesn't go with the rest of your decor, you can get some of the cute colored strings they sell at craft stores. (sorry, not sure what it's called!)

I absolutely love the Pacon brand. I bought this roll over 2 years ago and I've barely made a dent in it. It works well, holds a nice crisp crease and the colour choices are rather vibrant. At the same time, cheap enough that I can use it for scrap work without feeling bad about it.

The Ikea brown Kraft is a second choice for me, but other than that all of the art stores and print shops quoted prices higher than I got through amazon at the time so...

Oooh look! A bargain! 50 piece paper gift tags for $1.08 with free shipping

If you live in a city that has a newspaper who prints their papers locally (almost all do) they stop short of the end of the roll. They call them end rolls, and typically sell them to people who ask. The benefit of this is that the paper is blank with no ink.

I walked into my local newspaper and ask for end rolls and they had them right behind the receptionists desk. I walked out with 5 end rolls for like $1.20 a piece. Granted, it's not the best of deals because you never know how much paper is on the rolls, and the paper is rather thin, but it works alright.

Consider kraft paper instead. I bought this from Amazon like 5 months ago and I haven't put a noticeable dent in it while shipping 15-20 packages a week.

As paper bags are getting harder to find, I would make the brown bag out of shipping paper. I would iron the needed creases in it, cut the jagged edges. Once I get it like I wanted and soak it in epoxy to give it rigidity. I would add the eye brows by using paper clay, and soak them in epoxy once they are sanded and shaped. Eyes could be done with some large sunglasses or even plastic ornaments either painted or covered with a thin black fabric, and balsa strips used for the ear pieces. I would buy a cheap bicycle helmet and mount it to the inside of the bag for comfort and to help ensure it does not slide about.

Sometimes amazon ships using packing paper instead of the air bubble protectors, I save those and use them as wrapping paper.

And here’s a 30” roll on amazon for $20

I use indented kraft paper for everything. My last roll lasted 7 months before I had to buy a new one. It's cool when you finish a roll because you can cut the tube up and put them in your enclosures. It has texture for traction and I put multiple layers if they want to dig under it. It's great stuff. I was using unprinted newspaper before and I hated it because of how noisy it was when the animals were active. This stuff is much thicker so it doesn't make nearly as much noise and holds its shape much better.

u/StillMissedTheJoke · 2 pointsr/cats

Lol, that's awesome :)

LPT: You can get a long, long roll of brown paper off Amazon, which you can cut into 6' strips that your kitties will *love* to death, at which point you can recycle that piece and cut them a new one, https://www.amazon.com/Paper-Wrapping-Shipping-Covering-Recycled/dp/B0788YRV9V

I made it out of washable craft paper! I plan on doing a leather one, so I've been test-driving this one out for almost 4 months. It has held up REALLY well and is even thinner than leather.

Thank you.

We had a roll of paper that we got for our son's birthday one year. It was about 4' across and who knows how long. Before the meeting, I'd unroll it to cover the entire table and throw a bunch of markers, crayons and pencils and let them draw while we got set up. It was great when we did something messy too.

Amazon.

It's $29.33 for a 4 x 200 foot roll.

I tie my gifts up with yarn (from the same project, if I can) and put a small hole-punched tag on the tie with fiber content and washing instructions. I use a similar tag (I have flower-shaped ones) on the outside with a to/from and little message.

These are the tags I use: Brown Craft Scalloped Paper Label... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0149H1OYK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Get a big roll of this stuff

USA Brown Kraft Paper Roll 48" x 1200" (100ft) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NFFXNFJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VFyuDbC2K71MG

And just cut it to the shape and tack it over at least the top half. I did this for some weird shaped windows in the past and it let in just a warm glow instead of blinding light. Not enough light to wake me up but not so blacked out that you can't tell night and day.

Measure the with of those windows though. That paper is 48 inches wide

u/L1zardcat · 3 pointsr/Flipping

I use White Butcher Paper on a roll. When it gets dirty, I slice it off the roll, toss it into a pile to be used for packing material, and unroll a fresh surface.

Edit: Added a link

u/reikken · 8 pointsr/space

not too much more expensive

https://www.amazon.com/ArtKraft-Duo-Finish-Paper-000-Roll/dp/B00006IE1T

this is 36"x1000'. Cut it in to 4 pieces for 9" paper, which is as wide as typical 8.5"x11" (A4), and you get 4000' for 70 USD

u/RaN96 · 17 pointsr/pcmasterrace

They sell the carton tubes at most art supply stores/Staples or just get them on Amazon and avoid the poop particles all together. You could also just buy drawer dividers.
