I have a couple of owl related items on my list. I wouldn't say that owls are my favorite animal, but I apparently like them enough to have items depicting them!

The vegetarian starter kit or guide to cruelty-free eating sound interesting. I've already tried baking without eggs due to knowing people with dietary restrictions, and it was a good experience (also: delicious). I wouldn't mind learning more about other way to eat better.

They're fun, aren't they? :) The cheapest item in general on my wish list is a gift card, and then it's this, which is awesome, too! :) As for the more expensive thing, hmm... well, I unfortunately need a new bra, but I also really want a gift card so I can get this! Sorry, I don't know how to format the link to be shorter. I love how funky the Hard Candy Polish is. I got it at walmart for $4.00. The one I got was the black and white version, but the other ones looked really good. The polish works really well and doesn't come on too thick unless you add an extra layer, which I like because it lets me pick out how heavy I can make it look.

I also painted my sister-in-law's nails with it, but added a teal instead of hot pink base. Those look more rocker than '80's. I can post a picture tomorrow if you or anyone else is curious to see them.

Honestly I use large decal stickers as a reward system- kids get to deck out their Interactive Notebooks for being particularly responsible, etc. I just buy them in packs of 100-200 from Amazon. They are cheap and have lots of pop culture things my middle schoolers love! Just a warning, you do have to go through them before bringing to class to take out the more "psychadelic" variety.... which I just gift to some of my adult friends ;)

Stick 'em Up!

You squidge out lots of stuff from your skin as your day goes on - mostly a nice mix of sweat and oils. This awesome mix of gunk is horrible for - well, almost anything. While you can take preventative measures by cleaning off your wrist rest area with a nice water-dampened towel after use (if you're clumsy and tend to get water into your laptop, please don't do this), but this will probably just prolong the inevitable. The only real "fix" is to cover the surface with something like a protective skin - like this.

The paint and finish used on most laptops is pretty cheap - even on high end Macs and "gaming" laptops. Even if the wrist area doesn't start to deteriorate, chances are that the actual keyboard keys will. All you can do is try and slow the process down (or not care about it happening).

Other option? Wear gloves. All the time.

I usually tell people that I'll be happy with whatever they get me. If I'm running out of something specific like makeup or nail polish (although I can never have too many polishes), I'll tell them. If I want clothes I'll ask for clothes or a gift card. It depends how comfortable I am with that person, like I would be specific with my close friends and family but not coworkers. And this is under $2. Hope I was able to help you a bit.

It's not weak feeling to me at all. I came from a MacBook Pro with MagSafe which was exceptionally hard to break, so by nature it does seem weaker than that, but not bad

So, to answer the question, when I was a kid, I wanted to be a marine biologist and explore the deep sea in a submarine. I'm still kind of pursuing this dream, but it's going to take a long time to get there.
