I was thinking I could get this sprayer, which is super cheap (Ironton Tow-Behind Broadcast and Spot Sprayer - 13 Gallon, 1 GPM, 12 Volt DC https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00XA3NUXI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IWRCCbEE70WHA), but a spreader would allow me to use it for Milo, which would save me time year-round. I thought granular pre-emergents would cost significantly more, but $40 for 40k sq ft sounds crazy cheap. I think I applied dimension last year and that was $100 per application (2 bags @ 12,500 sq ft iirc). But I applied it too late per soil temps.

I have a big clover problem, some lavender as well. Do you think dimension alone is sufficient?

Edit: pretty sure I applied this last year (https://www.homedepot.com/p/LESCO-50-lb-19-0-7-Dimension-Crabgrass-Preventer-080311/100185665), which I would need 2 bags @ $50 each. If you can link me to the $40@40k product you were thinking about I'd appreciate it.

I use a pressure sprayer for gardens that has a knob on the spraying faucet/exit hole which you can turn for any kind of spray from really fine water like winter breath to like a straight line so I use it on 1 up from winter breath so like a barber's spray type.

Mix 1 tbsp of sensitive handwash soap in 1 litre of water.

The nozzle has a screw type thing, you turn that to change shape of water.

Oh btw, we don't have diatom... earth here in stores or I don't know the local name in our language so I find this easier.

This is the one I use! Puts out a decent amount of pressure, about equivalent to a hose. It won't be a pressure washer though. There are also ones like this, which put out a bit more, but honestly I haven't really found a need for more than my current sprayer for maintenance washing.

Since I was a young child, my father always used a Chapin 3 gallon stainless sprayer. He would use it around the house, at the shop and in the construction field. Bleach, water, insecticide, it never quit. I have personally used one of these in the field for the past 9 years and just replaced it because an excavator ran over it.

When my wife and I bought our house a few years ago, my father came over to help me bleach and pressure wash the deck. Along with a smile and a positive work attitude, he brought a brand new Chapin pressure can for me to use around my house. Thanks to my father's persnicketiness I will never own anything but Chapin.

I visited my local indie mechanic the other day, and he was using a plastic spray bottle to apply a homebrew of ATF and Acetone which is known to be much more effective to loosen stubborn/corroded bolts.

A generic spray bottle won't work well in most orientations, and those seem to be the orientations you need to hold the bottle to access said bolts.

Something like a quality Pneumatic Refillable Sprayer seems like a "splurge" item for most Mechanics and shadetrees as I almost never see them mentioned in a "What tools should I get?" list.

I don't know which brand to go with but this is an example

I like using an $8 hand pump pressure sprayer. With an adapter you can attach a ball lock post to it.

u/fr0d0_0 · 1 pointr/lawncare

Something like this ?
https://www.amazon.com/Agri-Fab-45-0292-Tow-Sprayer-15-Gallon/dp/B00080QJUC/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=tow+behind+sprayer&qid=1554391714&s=gateway&sr=8-3

This is the first I've heard of it. Are there other things like Weed Killers (emergenats? I guess they would be called) or fertilizers that are cheaper to deploy this way?

Any recommendation on brands?
Thank!

Just spray it around dry. The bottle used looks like this, or this.

I don't think it's really worth it to take them apart every time you finish a keg, even if they're going to sit empty for a while.. Here's what I do.

I have a pump sprayer like this one: Chapin International 20075 Disinfectant Bleach Sprayer, 1 Gallon, Translucent White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00295QD96/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mtisDbMY99MW5. I took the nozzle off and put one of these on the hose: Stainless Carbonation Cap Counter Pressure Bottle Filling With 5/16" Barb,CO2 Coupling To Carbonate Soda Beer Fruit Juice Water https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K4GGYT0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hxisDbGZB4JCR. Then I can mix up some pbw in the sprayer, pressurize the bottle and hook up the beer line to it, the push the cleaner through. I do this for all my lines every few weeks then switch it for just water to rinse the lines then switch it to Starsan and push that through.

If I'm going to leave it disconnected for a while I just push some Starsan into the lines and leave it in there, not sure how long it will keep in the line but should be ok for a few weeks.

I use a pump sprayer to water. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QTHF9ZT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
i do like a quick 3-4 second squirt to moisen the topsoil, and i would do the same just directed at the base of the plant when it shows signs of being underwatered

u/Theyta · 3 pointsr/gardening

Those pictures were so upsetting. Have you given neem oil a shot? a few ts in a pump sprayer and its a massacre. Those lil lady bugs usually leave after a day or two

I hit the buggers with a sprayer like this. http://www.amazon.com/Chapin-26021XP-Series-Gallon-Sprayer/dp/B00295N5VK/

u/boilerroombandit · 2 pointsr/Skookum

I put mine in one of these guys shake it good before spraying on.

u/tripelt · 2 pointsr/spinalcordinjuries

Get this one that has a pump on it. Life changing. Enjoy

here is the style...amazon link

i think i recall seeing masons use those to spray sealer. the tanks had nearly all their paint worn off. as much as those guys kick their equipment around, you'd have to assume it's durable and reliable.

Hudson makes sprayers for weed killer etc. Like this.

I hope the poster of the flyer doesn't get misunderstood by cops!

u/CYP446 · 1 pointr/AutoDetailing

Update - So I believe the Spray gun is a Teejet 3015. Still unclear if it would work for snow foam.
