You mean, stored on your computer? Or in a backpack?

Might I suggest getting a clear plastic folder like this, 1 for each subject. Then put your assignments and handouts in it. It has a tie so things don't fall out. I'm sure you can find some that have snaps instead, or different colors for different classes. Plus, it offers a good bit of protection against books banging around.

I use sleeves, which are technically called "packing list envelopes." They cost me about 5-6 cents each, depending on their sale price. They fit a folded in half 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper perfectly.

As far as tape goes, I usually try and find a local place for tape/boxes. Shipping a bunch of heavy tape tends to be pricey. Plus, you should be tax exempt on shipping supplies.

Here's some on Amazon! Here are some in a more letter-friendly size, and here are some sparkly ones. Additionally, I suggest putting some gold glitter on and/or inside the envelope... for that extra wow factor ;)

Edit: Found some extremely gaudy gold foil envelopes too, though they're pricier.

I only ship with A1 Envelopes sized 3 5/8" x 5 1/8"
They're the perfect size for Top-Loaders and never get crunched in the postal sorting machines (as larger envelopes sometimes do). Additionally, they're lightweight and can fit 9 cards + 2 top-loaders before you need to add additional postage in excess of the 1oz forever stamp limit.

If you have a UPS account you can order supplies for free in their website. Order some pouches. You can use them to stick your label
above the old labels. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Loading-Packing-Shipping-Envelopes/dp/B005PG4G90/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1322674123&sr=8-3

I feel like this is one of those times where it's just easier to buy them premade.

These fit inside 3-ring binders. I used them for gadget manuals but then decluttered the manuals and now use them for car repair paperwork and some of my contractor/house repair stuff. They have an "accordion" thing so they will expand, and they close with a Velcro tab.

New pens for school! My husband and I go through so many of these puppies that we can never have too many! It's the weekend but I feel like the week has just started. Eeesh!

I use these envelopes that I coordinate their color with the corresponding class in Canvas. It’s worked great for me to keep all the various articles and readings I have to do organized.

In addition to the other reply, I've written on Mohawk skytone envelopes and paper. It's excellent for most inks I've tried on it.

I've also folded the letter sized paper into an envelope.

A German DIN "B6 envelope" will work, too, in that case. You can find those on Amazon and other online stores. :)

Some examples:

My own current storage solution consist of two core boxes cut and taped together. I followed this guide here. It's reached it maximum capacity at the moment with 2 core sets and all of the Dunwich and Carcosa cycles. If I plan on getting The Forgotten age I'll have to retire it.

As for the rule inserts, I keep those in a separate brown office manila envelope. I unfold the heavily folded mytho pack inserts, then flatten them out and they all fit in a single envelope fairly easily.

He has everything he needs and more. Frequently send him the pictures of the fam and handwritten letters about your day. Bonus points for using [air mail envelopes] (https://www.amazon.com/Mead-Mail-Envelopes-Count-74212/dp/B002R5ARC2).

I haven’t gotten the postage yet, but this is how I’m mailing them:

envelopes

Wrapping in this twine

Stamping this stamp under where USPS stamps go

Using this return envelope stamp

Using clear printed labels for recipients

Ivory is base green, buff is base yellow. I have a wide collection of miniature grade paints and those two seperate into a beige/offwhite and thinner other color when left unshaken too long.

Amazon.ca sells them by the hundred Quality Park 54411 Document Envelopes, 9x12, 40lb, Cameo Buff, 100/Box https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0006VNSS4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VNnXDbB0MJDP3

I think these are the size you're looking for.

EDIT: These are also at a really good price, for right now at least.
