Alright, first...Happy Early Birthday!!!

Now on to face things.

Skincare

First of all you should check out r/skincareaddiction. Even if you don't want to join the community the FAQ is great.

What I do for my normal/oily skin is every morning and every night I wash with CeraVe Foaming Face Wash which is recommended for oilier skin. So you might want to check that out.

Every 3 days or so I exfoliate with Epicuren which is just from my mom's shop but it's a nice deep scrubs without being too abrasive. You don't want abrasive like with say St. Ive Apricot scrub because you're actually tearing your skin and that's just not very nice. You want to gently exfoliate.

Once a week I use a LUSH face mask. My favorite is Love Lettuce because it's refreshing and exfoliating. Second favorite is definitely Cupcake. I feel so clean and bright after it.

Wipe off your makeup before you go to bed. It's bad for your skin and bad for your sheets. Whatever you do to take it off, just get it off. I use vaseline. It's cheap and easy on my sensitive skin.

Clean your brushes. Clean them. Seriously. What I do is after every makeup application I get a tissue and something with and edge like the edge of my dresser and I wipe the brush over the tissue over the edge to get all the excess makeup out. Then every 2 weeks I do a deep clean. Get a bar of some kind (towel rack, clothes hanger) and rubber bands. Get some warm, running water, and either some baby shampoo or some brush cleaner (though honestly I just use shampoo) and wet your brushes, bristles pointing downwards always. You don't want to get water trapped inside the little metal/plastic attaching ring thingy. Add a dot of shampoo to your hand and swish that brush around. It'll be gross. Good. You'll always remember to do it now that you know how gross your brushes get. Rinse bristles down. Dry bristles down by wrapping the rubber band around the handle and attaching to your rod/hanger.

Makeup

This is what I cannot live without

  1. Naked Basics. This is the best $27 I have ever spent in my life. I use it every single friggin day. All of the colors are perfect neutral mattes from lightest light to darkest dark. I even use one of the colors to fill my eyebrows. It's perfect.

  2. Wet n Wild Liquid Liner. I've become a liquid liner addict. It really helps make it look like I have eyelashes. The brush is very firm and very thin so I always end up with a line where I want it.

  3. Urban Decay 24/7 glide on liner in Smoke. I have very light eye lashes. So I tight line.. Trust me. You want to tight line.

  4. Clump Crusher I love this mascara. It really is non-clumping and while it doesn't give me the longest lashes in the world it makes them look fuller because there's no clumps.

  5. Smashbox BB Cream. This is just the BB cream I use. It does what all the BB creams do but I happen to match the 'Fair' color very well.

  6. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. This shit smells like chocolate. I'm not even joking. I'm new to bronzer, but it's perfect for my skin tone.

  7. Sephora Blush. I'm still learning about blushes but I like that this one is matte. I'm not a sparkle face girl.

  8. Lipstick. I have too many to choose. See this comment I did where I swatch and rated every lipstick I have.

  9. E.L.F eye shadow primer You need primer. No. You need it.

    Makeup For You

So if you're just starting out again you don't want to go spending a stupid amount of money before you figure out what you like. So here are my suggestions for you specifically.

  10. Eyeshadow. Now if you can afford it, I highly recommend Urban Decay Naked Basics. But that's $27. So in lieu of that I suggest you get some Wet n Wild Eyeshadows. Maybe this one or this one.

  11. Eye shadow primer. Go to target and find the ELF section and get primer. It's a dollar and it will make your eye shadow amazing. No reapplying no smudging no creasing. Just perfect perfect eyes. It comes in other colors too, you may want to get a shade darker if you want to match your skin tone.

  12. Eyeliner. I would say get a pencil in either black or dark brown. I don't know if liquid liner is right for your eye shape but if you want to give it a go then you do whatever you want; it's your face.

  13. Eyelashes. Get a lash curler. Two to three curls and you should be good. I'd say black mascara for you.

  14. Eyebrows. I'm not an eyebrow expert but you're probably going to want to shape and fill in your eye brows (unless you love them just the way they are). For shape I'd go to a professional first before you wax at home or go plucking away. Then for filling in you can just use an eyebrow kit. Although I've heard complaint that dark eyebrows are the hardest to find a matching color for :(

  15. BB Cream. I hear Etude house kicks butt and it won't break your bank.

  16. Concealer. I love Maybelline 24 Hour Superstay Concealer it's awesome. You want to blend that stuff too, don't just dot it on.

  17. Blush. I think maybe a peachy blush but pictures don't always show stuff right for skin tone so maybe you need pink. I can't really tell.

  18. Bronzer. You've got great cheek bones. I would skip this for now. Unless you're super gungho in which case: I'd check out The Balm.

  19. Lipstick. Cheap and amazing lipstick is NYX and I think a nice natural shade would look great on you. But seriously, if you live near an ulta, nyx is like $3.99-$5.99 for lipstick. It's amazing. Or everyone goes gaga for these Etude House Bunny Glosses.

Anyway, I think you look really great and that's the best start is being confident and having a natural beauty. Also I love your hair. But if you have any questions just let me know :)
u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Some of these might be a bit over $5, I apologize in advance.

This Burt's Bees lip balm is great for everyday or regular use. I have the Beeswax flavor and I love it.

This Eos lip balm is wonderful! I have the Vanilla and the Mint flavors (which somebody gifted to me <3) and I just love them. They smell nice, are organic, and are just good all around. Your sister might already have a few of the round ones, but the sticks are also great. I don't think there's a vanilla round one, and that's one of my favorites.

This mascara is great and one I personally use. It's not waterproof, but it's super easy to apply and makes your lashes look longer. It has minimal flaking and lasts all day.

If she wants a waterproof mascara, Great Lash is great but harder to apply and doesn't lengthen your lashes as much as the other one does.

If she's in to nail art, these dotting pens look great. Each of them is a different size and they come in fun colors.

This blender looks great, but I can't personally advocate it. It's cheap and should do the job though.

These face cleaning towelettes are great for removing makeup and cleaning your skin. It might not be the right product for everybody though, so get her a small pack if you do.

This concealer set is cheap and by the reviews, works well!

I think that covers it, good luck!

i know i wont be the only person to recommend CG Clump crusher mascara. It does marvelous things.

i cant imagine being without my brushes, but especially my angle brush. i like this much better than the angle brushes that tend to come with cream/gel eyeliners...much more control. its my favorite brush!
lastly, just bitten balm stain is wonderful. great color but easier than lipstick, not sticky like gloss, and lasts for hours. love love love!

happy birthday, and i hope you find some great new things to love from everyones suggestions!

u/Deiji- · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I love Scotland, I've been a ton of times with my family over the years, and this time was probably the most fun yet! We camped which has its own charms... but overall I loved it.

Edinburgh: it was my first time there so I have no tips really except make sure you wander and explore a lot! The place is huge and yet every street seems to have its own charm, especially up the hill away from the main street (where the high street stores are).

Skye: I've been to Skye and Mull before, they're quite similar as islands. If you like hiking and activities then try to go for a day hike and maybe even pony trekking because that's really a great way to get near the nature. If you like wildlife, ask locals about where to see otters/sea eagles/golden eagles/deer and then try to go there. For otters, evenings in a place away from cars and near a sea loch are just amazing because you can see the animals hunting really close to you! Some of my best memories are of watching for otters, even from the car with a picnic.

Glencoe/Lomond: Maybe you know about midges already, but they're tiny mosquitoes which frequent Loch Lomond in particular, they swarm all over near water and the bites can be quite itchy. Dealing with them isn't so bad, but definitely pick up some Avon Skin So Soft Oil. Sounds crazy but the locals and fishermen swear by it to keep midges and mosquitoes away, just check the amazon reviews. We used this and it worked super well at keeping midges away.

Other than that I think my favourite thing about rural Scotland is just being away from cities, and in nature, and meeting local people. Everyone is very kind, as a general rule. I hope you have a good time!

Oil Cleanser: Holika Holika Soda Pore cleansing B.B Deep Cleansing Oil

This stuff takes off ALL my makeup with a gentle massage. Every ounce of waterproof eyeliner and mascara comes off in under 10 seconds. When it comes in contact with water it emulsifies, leaving your face clean and soft with no oily residue. Magical stuff.

Cleanser: CeraVe Foaming Cleanser

My skin has improved leaps and bounds after introducing CeraVe to my routine. Both the cleanser and moisturizer are gentle and have improved my skin texture greatly.

BB Cream: Lioele Triple Solution BB Cream

Amazing coverage, great tone-matching and leaves my skin looking fresh and flawless. With skin brightening ingredients and SPF30, this is my go-to skin product.

Mascara: Clump Crusher

'Nuff said.

Eyeliner: Cailyn Gel Liner

A great find from Ipsy! This stuff is totally smudge-proof and with the applicator brush (included in the packaging), it goes on smooth and crisp. Perfect cat-eye every time.

Everyday Lip Colour: TONYMOLY Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Apple

Even not including the beyond adorable packaging, I adore this lip balm. It gives a gorgeous sheer pinky hue to my lips. The formula is SUPER moisturizing and creamy. It goes on like butter, no stickiness at all. And less than 4 bucks a pop? Amazing.

u/butmehm2 · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

I used to be addicted to trying new mascaras lol. So, here you go...

Benefit, They're Real!: I know everyone loves this, but I really am not a fan. It is wayyy too heavy, and I can only apply one coat delicately or else everything clumps together. 1/5

Lancome, Hypnose Drama: HOLY GRAIL MASCARA. I love the formula, love the wand, and I love how gorgeous it makes my lashes look. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. 4/5

Fairydrops mascara: Meh. I just got this one and I'm still deciding whether I like it or not. It can look a bit clumpy. 2/5

Dior, DiorShow: Another HG. I like Lancome a bit better, but this is still an excellent mascara. The wand is big and busy and makes my eyes look wide awake. 4/5

*Maybelline, Colosal Volume: This is a great drugstore mascara. I think I might even like it better than Clump Crusher. The formula can get a little clumpy, but as long as you wipe the brush off a bit before using it, you'll have no problems. 4/5

So, there's a few that stick out for me! Violetslashes!

u/Feeling_Pretty · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

My favorite makeup has to be blushes. NYX blushes is a really good product. Pigmented, blendable, and the price is just right.

Revlon's Lip Butters is a great lip product. It's kind of like a lipstick and lip balm hybrid. It's somewhat sheer, but depending on the shade you get it can be bold.

Eyeliners...gel eyeliners work really well and it's actually pretty easy to apply too. Maybelline Eyestuido gel eyeliner is one the best gel eyeliner. Waterproof, doesn't smudge, and it glides really well.

Mascaras! Drugstore and high end mascaras work the stay, so I say don't get a high end (unless you have the money to spend of course). Covergirl mascara is really good and everyone really likes their Clump Crusher and Maybelline mascaras are also very good. The Falsies is one of Maybelline's most popular mascaras. Both comes in waterproof, they can hold a curl really well, won't clump your lashes, and of course, they add volume and length!

u/GamjaByul · 72 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Just Kidding. (Or do I...? O_o)

Backstory: HI, I AM SPIDER LASH QUEEN... Honestly went through this point in my life where I just lost my mind most of my real lashes, and they never grew back. So it's really hard to find a HG mascara (I've tried a dozen high-end brands from Sephora), and I kind of gave up on wearing it besides on occasional nights out.

Anyway, I've been seeing this 'HG OMG' Japanese mascara while floating through post comments and decided to give it a try. I curled my lashes prior and tried to use two coats.

Purchased on Amazon from US based seller.

PROS:

  • Formula contains polymer fibers which allows it to lengthen very well

Note: I have used that viral dual lash set that has a fiber tube and a formula tube where you're supposed to stack the two on your lashes to make them gigantic. Well, I was annoyed with that and it could get sloppy, just tossed it after awhile. This mascara is like the better, more refined version of that.

  • Definitely holds a strong 'curl' for any type of lashes, but you should probably always curl first
  • Does not smear/waterproof (have not tried sweating with it on, but claims to be gym-wearable)

    CONS:

  • Brush/formula is not good at separating thin lashes
  • Can make lashes spidery/clumpy depending on what kind you have
  • Drier/thicker than normal formula (comparing drugstore brand, but probably due to the fibers?)
  • (personally) Can't apply more than 1.5 coats before getting clumpy
  • If you have particularly weak lashes, this will take some of them out during removal (but I feel like that's normal)

    Overall Thoughts:
For me, holding a curl is nearly most important since my lashes are short and straight, and this mascara does that. Its main strengths are lengthening, volumizing, and holding a curl so it's worth a try. I feel this would work awesome when you wear falsies and don't want ANY of your natural lashes to fall lower than the falsies because the formula will hold them up.

I've read some people say it's hard to get off, but I use Banila Co. CIZ, and it's EZ-PZ.

If you have naturally long or thick lashes, your lashes would probably be cray, in a good way.

Thanks for the read, and Happy Tuesday! :)

TLDR: HEY, it's pretty good when done right.
u/emstx · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I concur with the new mascara sentiment. Clump crusher is good and so is maybelline's full n soft.

Elf makes a popular brow kit that comes in a few different colors. Or you could get an eyebrow pencil.

I think getting some nice brushes would be a good idea. I absolutely love elf's studio line brushes, which are $3 a piece. It depends what type of brush you would need, but I think some eye brushes would be good. The eye shadow brush, maybe an angled eyeliner brush and a large blending brush or a contouring brush. Elf can be found at target, BTW.

Wet n wild eye shadows are great. But can definitely be found at the drugstore or grocery store much cheaper.

Wet n wild lipsticks are pretty nice too as well as their lipgloss both of which can be found very cheaply at the grocery store.

Eyeliner in stick form is best from NYX, but if you want cream eyeliner, I suggest elf.

And if you want blush, I would also check out elf.

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

Supports CEC. Comes with 4x USB 2.0 slots, an HDMI, quad core ARM A7 processor, 1 GB RAM, and an ethernet port. Also has GPIO pins but I don't know of any Kodi related uses for them. It is an extremely low power device (uses about $3 worth of electricity per year) and requires nothing to keep it cool (e.g., no fans blaring in the middle of your favorite movie).

Base cost is $35. Requires a microSD card, an HDMI cable, and a microUSB charger, all of which can be purchased for approximately $5 each. An existing microUSB charger, such as from your cell phone or a device like a Kindle or Chromecast can be used, of course. Optional components include a case ($10-$20 or 3D print your own), USB wifi dongle ($10+), and an external hard drive ($50+). A few companies put out bundles that include a Raspberry Pi board and various components such as this basic one and this more complete one. A wireless keyboard ($20+) can also be handy. Product links are provided as examples; there may be better deals or smarter purchases to be had.

You'll then want to use a minimalistic Linux distro such as OpenELEC or OSMC, both of which are designed specifically to run Kodi and have optimized builds for a Raspberry Pi. OpenELEC seems to be more popular and is what I use myself. Installation is easy -- you just download and write to your SD card (oh yeah, you might need an SD card reader, $5). If you'd like you can also install a "real" Linux distro and install Kodi in that as you would on a regular desktop computer. You can either store your media on an external hard drive connected to the Raspberry Pi or on a separate computer or NAS and share your files over your LAN.

Pros:

  • Cheap base cost
  • Low power
  • Very hands off after initial setup
  • CEC! Use your TV remote to control Kodi
  • Hardware decoding for h264
  • As it is full-fledged computer you can easily add in additional software such as emulators, a web browser, etc.
  • More of a DIY solution (may be a con)

    Cons:

  • A few plugins (typically they are Windows dependent) and more computationally intensive skins may not work
  • May get pricey if you need to buy all the separate components
  • Can not handle 10-bit x264 (aka Hi10p; rare outside of anime fansubs) or HEVC (aka h265) files.
  • No 4K output, max resolution is 1920x1200
  • More of a DIY solution (may be a pro)

You have monolids and as stated by other redditors there's communities on reddit that specifically deal with that.

I find using Asian brands helps because likely they address such issues related to monolids. I keep peddling this product but Kiss Me Heroine Mascara is great for short Asian lashes. It's waterproof and really lengthens. I have cried, sweat, taken a shower, and even swam with this mascara and it does not budge. A waterproof eyeliner is also ideal and I like Dollywink eyeliner and Kiss Me Heroine eyeliner. When you're applying make sure it dries fully and you keep steady and try not to blink.

If you are willing to take a drastic step other people deal with their monolids by using eyelid tape or glue to create "double eyelids". I find it unnecessary because there are other makeup techniques that are specific to monolids. Good luck!

u/bospangles · 14 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I think the lips and eyes look fantastic. Also I think the BB cream works QUITE well for you. Evens out your skin tone a lot, but it still likes your skin rather than a cakey mask.

Similar to others I think your brows are what could benefit the most from a change, however I don't think you need to jump right to dramatically reshaping them. To me, it looks like the hairs themselves are a little... disheveled? I get this too because I sleep on my face funny (yes, I know it's bad but it's too comfy to give up!) and what works really well for me is clear brow gel. You just comb it through your brows in upward strokes so the hairs get all lined up with each other rather than smooshing downward as they are now. While still wet, I like to pinch the outer halves so that the brow tapers into thinner lines at the ends.

I would highly recommend clear gel and upward brushing before you go to the next steps of shaping and filling in the brows, as the gel/brush step can actually change the shape quite a bit, and will help you see if you need to do further shaping or if you like them as is.

I think AB makeup is onpar if not better than certain Western brands in terms of quality/price point.

There are different makeup trends in Asian than over here, of course, but lots of "universal" products like eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and brow pencils I find to be better bang for your buck. If you're fair skinned and not a fan of "heavy" foundation, you may enjoy Asian bb and cc creams.

Notable Asian items that get brought up here and in r/makeupaddiction quite often:

  • Kiss Me Heroine waterproof mascara - super smudge and waterproof. On lots of people's HG list
  • Faceshop Me:Ex brow pencils (have been compared to ABH brow products but at a fraction of price)
  • Etude House Play 101 sticks
  • Tony Moly Lip Tints
  • PeriPera cushion blusher
  • BB Creams

This is just a quick list off the top of my head. r/makeupaddiction will frequently have Asian makeup reviews if you're curious and want more info

I don't know HomeDepots official dog policy, but yes, he goes with me all the time there, employees all love him, he is NOT a service dog, and lots of Dogs are in there. I usually see this in HomeDepots that are deeper in residential areas, not so much in a more industrial area...

Summary of this horribly long reply:

  1. What I use to remove ridiculously waterproof mascara easily - Garnier Micellar Water (waterproof mascara version?)

  2. How I do it

  3. Heroine Make Long and Curl waterproof Japanese mascara

  4. Better Than Sex waterproof even though mixed reviews

Once you make peace with not having it easy to wash off, the mascara options widen a bit. However there are many ways to ease off mascara, such as coconut oil or other oil based cleansers (but some people don't want to put oil on their face, understandably).

Personally, I use Garnier Micellar Water (the one that says it can take off waterproof mascara), and it definitely does work well and fairly easily. It is oil/alcohol/fragrance free, so it shouldn't aggravate sensitive skin.

Bear with me here: My technique in using it is to soak a bit on a paper towel and bring it to the side of the lashes that get coated with mascara. Instead of just holding it there for a while, I move it as if I am trying to coat the lashes with mascara again, except I'm holding the soaked paper towel, careful not to let it touch my eyes. I do that until they are clean, which does not take long. I see many people removing mascara by holding wipes or whatever directly over the eye without distinguishing which side of the lashes get covered in remover. I hope this makes sense, I haven't really seen many videos on mascara removal, maybe I'm not the only one, but I just kind of did it one day and realized I had been taking off my waterproof mascara the harder way. I also rip out way fewer eyelashes this way!

At the moment I am almost done with a tube of Heroine Make Long and Curl waterproof mascara, and it is Japanese and super-waterproof; most people say it is a beast to remove, but I find it easy with the micellar water. It holds the curl beautifully and survives through crying and rain, and I even took a shower with it on, and there were no smudges, and the curl was still breathing, miraculously. It has fibers that actually do lengthen your lashes, but you may want to add another mascara for volume or purposefully clump lashes together with the brush then only separate a little. I will repurchase, though the shipping takes a few weeks from Amazon.

I also have Better Than Sex waterproof, but that one has many mixed reviews and may not work for you. Also clumpy, but I find that adds drama to my lashes, so I keep it.

Other than that, I don't notice how hard mascaras are to remove anymore, and I've used plenty of drugstore ones, like Loreal Telescopic, many Maybelline ones, and CG Lashblast (all waterproof versions)
u/andie_pandie08 · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Mascara tends to smudge really easily on my face! The ones that I have found that don't smudge are: Estée Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara. It's not very volumizing, but I have very short, straight lashes, so length is more important to me personally. Another one that has worked for me is the MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash. This one isn't my favourite because it makes my lashes really crunchy and I need to use a primer with it so it will show up (MAC False Lashes Maximizer), but at least it doesn't smudge! Lastly, I have used Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara. It was really good and held a curl super well, but I think it's fragranced (?) so it irritated my eyes unfortunately :( Good luck on your quest for the perfect mascara!

u/Adrinkingthrowaway · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

This isn't quite what you've asked for, but I've always heard great things about the Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make waterproof formula in terms of holding a curl on very straight lashes. If you're located in the US I don't think you'll be able to walk into a drugstore and pick it up, but if you're willing to order online the price point is comparable to drugstore.

*edit: I should mention that amazon has a well-documented problem with selling cosmetic fakes and since I've never used this mascara I don't know what the listing is supposed to look like. The link I provided does appear to be from Heroine Make and has lots of good reviews but do your own research before purchasing.

u/poke-monica · 4 pointsr/AustralianMakeup

I have short lashes that tend to droop after I curl them, and I also wear glasses so I'm more into volumising mascaras than lengthening ones. A great long-wearing one that doesn't dry out quickly is ISEHAN Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl - I'm not sure what the differences are between the ones in their line, but I can vouch for the one with the picture of the girl looking at the sky for lasting all day and not flaking. It's a Japanese brand though, so you'd have to buy it online or in an Asian beauty store/supermarket. I like Maybelline mascaras for drugstore price range, and I think the Total Temptation Waterproof and Lash Sensational are both great at holding a curl and giving length and volume!

u/for_while_true · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I'll start off : not exactly drugstore but cheaper than Sephora. I have my holy grail eyeliner and mascara so I'm never tempted to buy anything else at Sephora or drugstore. I'm at more than 15 repurchase for both of these are $10-11 per item

Kiss Me eyeliner

Kiss Me mascara

Look around Amazon for cheaper options (with slower shipping). I value no-smudge as most important for eye makeup. Staying power is second. With any other eye makeup, I have to constantly wipe under my eye from smudge/flake. With these two, I can confidently go all day without checking for smudge. Every time try new stuff, I end up coming back to these two. These are the only eyeliner/mascara that I've paid for for about 5-6 years. Others were obtained as samples/gifts only

Kat von D tattoo eyeliner has been comparable but didn't perform any better than kiss me eyeliner to justify paying more than double. Haven't tried stila eyeliner

I have yet to find mascara that will make me give up on kiss me (Marc Jacobs, UD, Nars, Bobbi Brown and countless others have failed). The only one I am interested in trying (and have no comparison for) would be better than sex

I kept hearing about Kiss Me Heroine mascara and how well it holds a curl... let me just say, I’m blown away.

I have pin straight lashes and use a heated lash curler every day. Typically by the time I’m done my lashes are droopy and barley lifted. Not anymore! I tried it last night and they kept their curl in hot humid weather until I washed my face.

Now my new worry is making sure both eyes are curled the same, since I know they won’t budge!

Both Geek Chic Cosmetics and Shiro Cosmetics offer samples of their eyeshadows for $1.25 and $1.00 (respectively), and almost all of their full-sized products are under $10.

As far as things actually through Amazon, I love the Maybelline Falsies line of mascara and clear mascara is great to have on-hand to tame eyebrows and keep them looking nice and natural :)

Hello and welcome! I see you love mascara! What kind is your favorite! I'm about to finish my mascara soon and want to get this one because everyone loves it (:

u/bhy2pencil · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I actually played CAH yesterday with my friends. My favorite moment was probably putting down "Pedophiles" for "_____: kid-tested, mother-approved." I have a picture on my phone, but too lazy to upload.

Just getting started with some makeup. Need basics.

Thanks for the contest. I hope you have fun with your new CAH cards :)

u/essyca · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

Covergirl Clump Crusher is my recent go to mascara. It's clean, lengthening, water proof and dark!

Here is me wearing it and it is on my wishlist!

I love mascara, I don't go a day without it and this is perfect for every day! I also love St. Patty's Day! Happy St. Patty's!

u/shitlady-gamer · 3 pointsr/Makeup

Make sure you apply the mascara directly after curling as that "freezes" the curl you've created. I would suggest waterproof mascara as that tends to be lighter than the non-waterproof.

You can purchase most of these at a grocery or drug store, but you could also find these at Ulta or online:

L'oreal Paris Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara

L'Oreal Butterfly Lash Out Mascara

Christian Dior Diorshow Mascara

These you will have to buy online.

This is a good site for beauty products.

Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara

FAIRY DROPS Platinum Mascara

The Raspberry Pi by itself is just a board. Like a PC, you need other stuff to make it work -- at the very least, a power supply and an SD card on which to install the OS. A kit like this gives you the power supply and a case, or you can go bigger and get a kit that includes power, case, wifi, hdmi cable, and a preloaded SD card. For htpc purposes, you don't need a kit like this, which includes a bunch of components that you aren't going to use (LEDs, breadboard, breakout cables, wires, etc -- stuff that you'd use if you were going to use the pi to build projects, but is unnecessary for a media player).

Don't bother with any heatsinks or fans. The RPi doesn't need them even for overclocking. Case quality can vary, but even the cheap cases are generally decent. You'll want at least a 2A power supply, especially if you intend to plug in external HDDs that don't have their own power source. And if you don't go with a kit that includes an SD card, make sure you buy a good quality card instead. That's your only storage on the device, so you want it to be as reliable as possible. Which means no bargain basement, "10 for a dollar" cheap SD cards. Go with name brands like Samsung.

And finally, /r/raspberry_pi. They're big on the Zero right now, but I'd suggest you go with a 2 B instead (quad core and more RAM makes it worth the extra cost).

For the record I have very long but very straight lashes (I'm white). I use Maybelline Volum Express The Colossal. It's not blow your socks off amazing, but it's the best I have found so far.

This is def on my list to try, though:

Mascara for 5.51, it's a addon item though. If you won't do addon maybe this book for 2.25?

u/friedchicken7115 · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I’ve been using the Heroine Make, you can find it at pretty much any Asian Beauty store if you’re in a city. It’s a lot thinner than most American formulas and made my Better Than Sex mascara look sooooo sad. Top one is Heroine Make and bottom is BTS. It is a waterproof one so you’ll need coconut oil or a separate makeup remover for eyes+waterproof makeup like the one from Simple or Garnier, after the mascara dries it seriously doesn’t budge at all. Here’s a photo I took of the wand. The curve is really nice in getting the little hairs by the corner of your eyes and the bottom lash line too!

u/Jarvicious · 2 pointsr/HomeImprovement

For what it's worth I installed RasPlex on an old Raspberry Pi B and it streamed fine from my server. If I recall I might have had to turn down the stream rate (or video quality or SOMETHING) but that model only has 512mb memory but a new one like this would likely run like a champ.

Not sure what kind of processing power you'll need on your server. Mine is currently an older quad core pc with plenty of memory but I'd like to put it on an OLDER Pentium 4 box just to see how she does. I would get something at least equivalent to an i5 simply so you if you want to use it as a regular PC you can do so while simultaneously streaming media via Plex.

u/jepsycha · 3 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

You, m'lday, are a genius! What a great idea. I will definitely be going through this thread to beef up my wishlist :)

My #1 under five would def be this It has free shipping! Then any color of these because they are way too cute!! And finally this because messing up mascara after doing your whole face is too darn frustrating!

u/Semicolon_Expected · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Yuss I'm Azn :3

Uhmm I thought Clinique's CCs worked nicely and really hid my redspots and sallowness. I loved how matte and consistent I looked. Long term, the color corrective properties are not very long term. It is a nice tinted foundationthingmoisterizeridkwhatimsaying though because I kinda get what you mean.

I like Tony Moly and this mascara. Shiseido skincare is expensive but really good. Tony Moly's stuff has really nice packaging.

u/ebolalol · 3 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I use this primer: PDC Pmel Essence Mascara Base 7g https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VM4XPQ4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

But honestly I only use it half the time. Like if I’m not in a rush (which most times I am). I heard you should because it’s so hard to get off and this will help protect your natural lashes but I haven’t had any issues.

For curl, I also have short straight asian lashes that love looking invisible. This keeps the curl all day! I find that waterproof mascaras in general tend to keep a curl and prevent smudging, though.

u/lovbrds · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

My lashes are super straight but the PMEL Essence Mascara Base really helps me keep my lashes in place. It’s relatively cheap and won’t be as unreliable as getting completely new mascaras. It works well, but it does have a strong smell. Haven’t heard of any reactions because of that though.

u/thestephanieloves · 11 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Nooo I have moderately long lashes, but no volume or curl at all so they are barely noticeable without mascara. This mascara is a godsend, it's a Japanese brand and super underrated :) I bought mine at Olive Young, but Amazon has it too.

u/aeternae · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I really like Japanese drugstore mascara. They don't flake at all for me, add length and volume for me and don't bother my contacts at all. I wear contacts pretty much every single day too. They are also usually waterproof! It's a fiber mascara though.

You can get it on Amazon and it's about drugstore mascara price

I use a gel pencil to tightline, liquid pen for eyeliner and the mascara with no issues too.

I've tried so many that flake, Maybelline ones, UD, bobbi brown, YSL, they all have flaked and smudged.

Another one that I found that was pretty decent at a low price point is actually Sephora's Lashcraft. I was surprised at how well it worked! It didn't flake until maybe like 12 hours and held up really well on my lower lashes.

link to lashcraft!

u/gloomduckie · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

If she likes a natural look, try Nyx Sugar Wafer Lipstick, but if she likes a bolder look then maybe get her Miss Manga Black Mascara instead :)

u/QuixoticEel · 3 pointsr/Makeup

The best quality one I’ve found so far at this price range is the Tonymoly Delight Circle Lens mascara, the pink one if you want volume. You can find it under $5 on Yesstyle. It never flakes or smudges and holds a curl all day. Another favorite for a few more bucks is the Kissme Heroine make volume and curl, it’s my holy grail at the moment but you’ll need a good mascara remover for that one. You can find it on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00INJ7ULW?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title or Yesstyle.

We have similar eye shapes, and I find winged eyeliner so tricky! Maybe thicken the line that goes along your lashline?
I'd also suggest curling your lashes - I have straight eyelashes, so curl them when wearing make up - my HG mascara is this stuff
Isehan Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Waterproof Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00INJ7TWW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AQMuDbQXR7VJA I've even slept with it on (not recommended!!) and my lashes are still in place the next day!
Your eyeshadow is great, and suits you well!

Their other sets and products are great too if this isn't in your price range.

u/deco95 · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Try the Etude House Lash Fixer ! You basically put some on like a mascara after you curl your lashes, wait a bit for it to dry a little (like do other parts of your makeup first) and then layer your mascara over it. The lash fixer basically holds your curl and then your mascara can do the lengthening/volumizing. Also, waterproof mascara generally helps to hold the curl better! You just have to use a oil based/biphase remover to get it off, I use the Lancome one but there are drugstore as well as cheaper Asian options like Bifesta as well.

u/NothingISayIsReal · 5 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

If waterproof does the same thing on you, you might like tubing mascara! People love Heroine Make mascara (I think it's this one?). You have plenty of time to order it and try it out!

u/cleverpseudoname · 5 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

I try to prioritise my lists and like it when others do too. I actually have a hidden list where I take things off that I know I don't really need quite yet so I don't clog up like wl with stuff I'm not sure I'll use much.

I guess my top five right now are

1 - Koji Dollywink Eyelashes in Sweet Cat - As long as I'm dreaming, I'd like a pony.

2 - Pueen 18 Piece Brush Set 'cause they're pretttty

3 - Fairydrops Mascara - The Holy Grail of mascaras....<3 <3 <3

4 - Etude House Sun BB Cream because it's got more sun protection and a lighter feel for summer!

5 - TonyMoly CatChu Tint in Orange Chacha because how cute is that I mean really

u/Firstmatewifey · 3 pointsr/FeminineNotFeminist

Something that helped me was realizing that since my eyes are oily, "water"proof mascara does nothing for me. With my eye shape and living in a super humid environment, I stopped wearing bottom lash mascara for a while (!!!) until I fell in love with Heroine Make mascara. It's an Asian brand that DOES. NOT. BUDGE. The only downside for me, is that it is so permanent that if I accidentally touch my contact, it will never come off of it. So proceed with caution! Here is a link to it on Amazon if you're interested in trying it!

For techniques, since switching to that brand I haven't had to use these, but maybe it could be helpful:
Carli Bybel actually just made a video with a technique for this!

u/thesunandthesky · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Super straight Asian lashes here too. Waterproof mascara changed my life. My favorite is Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl (Japanese brand you can get on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INJ7TWW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_D1NNybQRKQZVM), but I've also had decent results with L'Oreal ones. It also helps to find a curler that really fits your eye shape and gets all your lashes.

u/Luxene · 6 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

It's a Japanese brand but readily available on amazon: isehan kiss me heroine make long and curl (also available in volume and curl)

http://www.amazon.com/Isehan-heroine-Mascara-SUPER-WATER/dp/B00INJ7TWW

u/celestialcherie · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

after you wash most of it off in the method you've described, i'd try this weird trick: buy a sterile, empty mascara tube (like this) and dip the wand in your makeup remover of choice. then comb it thoroughly through your lashes like you're applying a clear mascara. that should get the stubborn areas clean! this technique is also great for diy lash treatments or oil application. hope this helps :)

u/allofthespices · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

Can anyone help me understand the difference between the Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara Long and Curl in the pink tube (wth black cap) vs the black tube (with purple cap)? Is it just that the pink tube is less waterproof than the black tube? Links below to the two products I am talking about

As another commenter said, curling your lashes before you add mascara really helps! You can also heat up your eyelash curler (I like to run it under hot water or use a blow dryer). Also, you might want to consider buying this. It is amazing and holds the curl for so long!

u/hawkxcore · 2 pointsr/hardware

I just picked up the iFixit Pro Toolkit as well as a cheap set of screw drivers. I also use a magnet tray for holding screws (especially useful for laptops) and I lay my screw drivers in there while I'm working to magnetize the tips.

One of my cheapest (free) things I've added to my workbench recently is an old 17" Dell Ultrasharp that was given to me. It's absolutely wonderful for a tech bench. It has VGA and DVI input. It's height adjustable, and swivels. It has 4 USB ports built into it. I leave my keyboard and mouse plugged into it, as well as signal and power cables. When a machine hits my bench, I plug in one signal cable, one power cable, and one USB cable and I'm ready to go.

(I have very sparse eyebrows which I don't understand since I have pretty dark/thick hair, why the hell are my eyebrows so thin?? This stuff rules because I refuse to get my eyebrows plucked/threaded/shaped/microbladed and wanted them to look thicker and fuller. A+ would recommend that product.) Anyway I was looking for mascara recommendations on this sub and wanted some opinions on which one I should go with. This is what I've found:

I haven't found a mascara that doesn't smudge on its own yet, but [Etude House's Dr. Mascara Fixer] (http://www.amazon.com/Etude-House-Waterproof-Mascara-Perfect/dp/B004RK7I2W) on the ends of my lashes post-mascara application makes literally every mascara I use smudge-proof, and I'm also a habitual eye-rubber (ew, that sounds inappropriate... sorry...). Downside: it's really hard to get off, the only way I've found to remove the stuff painlessly has been to cover my lashes in mineral oil/Ponds Cold Cream, wait 5 minutes and gently wipe off. You can find it for pretty cheap online though, and I find I no longer have any use for high-end mascaras because with this stuff and a decent lash comb, they all work the same ;)

Someone on this sub recommended etude mascara fixer and it is a LIFESAVER. I’m the same way. My lashes never stayed curled and they would also smudge/transfer since I’m oily. This is the amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004RK7I2W?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

u/nickelsndimes08 · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I also have straight lashes that didn't really hold a curl until I started doing the following. I think waterproof mascara is fine everyday as long as you use an oil to remove it; this will remove the mascara very easily so you don't have to tug and pull out your actual lashes.

I have 2 suggestions, both of which have worked for me. You can do just #1 alone or #2 alone or combine them.

  1. Etude House Waterproof Dr. Mascara Fixer for Perfect Lash
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004RK7I2W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

It's basically a primer that's designed to hold a curl. Works really well.

Here's a demo (not my video, just a youtuber I follow):
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAbd0RbjuQo

  2. I use 2 mascaras - one lengthening and one volumizing (I'm currently using Maybelline Lash Stiletto waterproof for length and Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof for volume). First, curl your lashes. Then, apply the lengthening mascara just to the ends of the lashes and let it dry. You can add a second coat if desired but wait for the first coat to dry. After your lengthening mascara has dried, take the volumizing mascara and apply to the roots and middle of the lashes.

Here's a tutorial (again, not my video. just another youtuber I follow):
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz31OCzPVP0

Alternate tutorial (slightly different technique but you get the idea):

And for the most waterproof mascara I've ever encountered, I recommend Heroine Make Kiss Me mascara which is actually so waterproof that you need their special mascara remover. You could swim across the Pacific and it wouldn't come off.

[Also, as a female almost-MS2 currently doing an IM preceptorship, this makes me feel less ridiculous for putting on makeup every day so I don't scare off people.]

u/HermioneLovegood · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I use Heroine Make, no flaking, totally waterproof, no panda eyes, but it's a b to get off.

Waterproof mascaras, at least in my experience, smudge far less. You could take a look into those. I have very oily eyelids and lashes and my go-to mascara is the Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara. It's a Japanese brand though, so it isn't ready available and shipping takes quite a while.

u/auralgasm · 85 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

>Vitamin C before Vitamin D.

LOL I thought nothing could top "toners before boners" but this one is good too.

And...take it from me, you need Isehan mascara. I recently discovered it will not run or stain no matter how much you cry. It's the perfect breakup mascara.

u/anonymys · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I am WISHING for you to feel better sooner rather than later, lady! Arthritis is a bitch and a half, especially when it's cold out.

Too Faced's Better Than Sex has been on for a while. Also Clump Crusher and this sunscreen!

Does anyone know what the difference is between the colour of the packaging and tube for the heroine make mascara? I'm looking for the long and curl and I've noticed either a pink tube or a dark purple(? Looks purple to me I think) one?

I have stick straight lashes and nothing used to work until I got Heroine Mascara! When I use it I let it dry for a few seconds then I curl my lashes and apply another type of mascara that I have on hand. Idk what kind of magic Heroine Mascara is made of but all of a sudden I have visible lashes.

u/mkbear · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I wasnt as happy with They're Real either.

I would love to get my hands on a tube of this stuff. I got some in a sample from either Birchbox or Ipsy and I used it all up a long time ago now.

I havent tried Clump Crusher yet. Im using the regular old Maybelline Greatlash now, which is ok, if I had grabbed the waterproof one. I used another Maybelline in a similar tube to that one you want to try and I wasnt a big fan of it.

u/call_me_cthulhu_ · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This mascara applicator is $1.32 + free shipping. I want it so hopefully when I do my makeup and spend 10 minutes on eyeshadow I can not ruin it completely by applying mascara and getting black all over it.

u/mad_infinitum · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Yes, it is. I used to get it at sephora for the short time that they carried it. Now I order it online. This is the formula I recommend: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004KXLIVS?pc_redir=1411222143&robot_redir=1

u/tobaya12 · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Right now I am LOVING L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara. It's blacker than Clump Crusher, IMO, and though the brush is kind of weird it does a good job of adding volume and length with the right technique. Plus it's only $7!

u/blackdustbelt · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Mine always runs because my lower eye lids touch my mascara :[
Waterproof doesn't always stop smudges, because it may be the oil, not tears, from your skin breaking it down.

For me, powdering under my eyes helps a lot. But my HG has been the Loreal Beauty Tubes mascara. I just use it as a top coat and it makes all my mascaras water and oil proof :D

u/forgotpasswordmeow · 1 pointr/MakeupLounge

I have very straight lashes that point a little downwards, and also have oily lids which break down most mascaras and negates a lot of their holding properties. I've gone through one of those Sephora favorites samplers with all kinds of mascara and have fun through most of the L'Oreal and Cover Girl and Maybelline mascaras. Nothing. The only mascara that's ever worked for me to hold the curl from an eyelash curler is a Japanese brand Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara Super Waterproof
There is a long and curl version as well. This is legit the only mascara that holds a curl for me for longer than an hour. My lashes wilt a little but definitely still lifted at the end of the day. The only con is that it is a bitch to take off, you have to oil cleanse and/or use an oil based eye makeup remover.

u/SympatheticNeuron · 1 pointr/weddingplanning

Ok, I'm Asian with oily lids and cry like a baby, and this mascara is my holy grail. It WILL NOT COME OFF (in fact, if you have this I hope you have a good eye makeup remover, cause it's a bitch to get off). It's amazing. https://www.amazon.com/Isehan-heroine-Mascara-SUPER-WATER/dp/B00INJ7TWW

u/cameronabab · 1 pointr/airsoft

OP, buy this toolkit. It's a newer version of what I have.

I use this driver set for fucking everything, from airsoft to computers. It is one of the handiest things I own, and the quality of it is pretty good. The one I have is a couple years old now, but I haven't had a single issue with it

u/mindyourmittens · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara Long & Curl is really raved about for short lashes that won't curl! :)

u/deathbyblackhole · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I have really sparse and short asian lashes. I find that most mascaras (even waterproof ones) don't hold a curl and weigh my lashes down. Until I found: http://www.amazon.com/Etude-House-Waterproof-Mascara-Perfect/dp/B004RK7I2W

It makes any mascara waterproof if you layer it on top. How I like to use it:

Curl lashes, apply Dr. Mascara Fixer, let it dry, apply another layer to lock in hold, apply mascara, and if it's going to be a long day I go in with another coat.

u/911pleasehold · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Try using a mascara like it's so big or blinc

I live in Its So Big mascara in the summer (have personally never tried blinc). It doesn't move an inch, even if you rub your eyes or cry or sweat, but it washes off like normal mascara!

u/GeekyGasm · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

This mascara tool I actually found on another RaoM members wishlist and added to my own a few days ago. It looks freaky, but very interesting.

u/BrassAge · 2 pointsr/Authentic_Vaping

I sure do! I actually have the entire iFixit kit, which I enjoy, but the first link is just the bits and driver.

u/Ninimodo · 6 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Ahh, this is the eternal struggle of Asian lashes.

I've given up on wearing mascara on a daily basis (too lazy) but when I do, I wear tubing mascara. Nothing seems to help with curl longevity for me, but tubing mascara helps me avoid smudges. A lot of folks on /r/MonolidMakeup swear by Japanese or Korean mascaras (Heroine mascara pops up a lot, but I haven't tried it myself).

As far as curlers go, I prefer ones from Asian companies since they tend to be flatter and more accommodating of my eyeshape. I have this Shiseido one and like the curl I get from it. I also haven't experienced pinching with this one.

L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara? http://www.amazon.com/LOreal-Paris-Double-Extend-Mascara/dp/B001IAINFU

I can't seem to find the waterproof version, but I've used this before and they come out just as you described in the shower.

u/lgbtqbbq · 3 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Nope, you're thinking of the Long and Curl. There was always a Volume and Curl, they are two different products.

You linked the Volume and Curl version with the old pink package. The new Volume and Curl has a dark purple tube.

The old/new Long and Curl mascaras both (haven't changed) have a bright pink tube.

The Long and Curl is not discontinued- you're thinking of 2 different mascaras and linked one that just resembles the Long and Curl but it's the Volume and Curl.

This is the product you are looking for- zoom in- the tube says Long and Curl, not Volume and Curl the way your pic in the original post says.

u/dat_glo_tho · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

I use rosette ceramide gel on my eyebrows sometimes. It comes in a jar so it might be worth transferring to an empty mascara tube like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Mascara-Cilia-Silver-0-25-floz/dp/B005UGVIQ4

(This is my secondary use for this product, I primarily use it as a sleeping pack.)

u/gmwrnr · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Honestly I'd just buy an empty mascara tube and fill it with cleansing oil or makeup remover. Literally the same thing and waaay cheaper!

u/UnworkedJade · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I'm blond with almost no lashes so L'Oreal Paris Double Extend is my go to drug store mascara, none of the high-end brands has ever match up to it! It never smears, and it only comes off with hot water, so you can even swim with it! Makes me look like I actually have lashes! Yay.....

u/Barbalala · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

I bought KissMe Heroine Long & Curl Waterproof Mascara. It's very waterproof and does add volume but not much lengthening, perhaps something to try? I bought mine from ebay though, not amazon.

u/YoAkihiko · 5 pointsr/muacjdiscussion

You should try out the Heroine Make Long and Curl, I bought it a couple of years ago and it's now the only mascara I use. This sucker will not budge - which makes taking it off kind of a pain haha but it is so worth it not to worry about smudging any more. It also holds a curl quite nicely.

u/ThumbtacksHurt · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I've heard that tubing mascara is great for sensitive eyes. They're far from waterproof though (which is harsher on your eyes anyways). Here's the one I'm eyeing right now if you want to try a cheap one before investing in something more expensive. https://smile.amazon.com/LOreal-Paris-Double-Mascara-0-17-Fluid/dp/B001IAINFU/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1478094697&sr=8-1&keywords=tubing%2Bmascara&th=1

u/ayepruhlwin · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make mascaras have ridiculous lasting power. Seriously, if you decide to try this you'll need to invest in a really good makeup remover. They're so waterproof that it takes some time to get it all off. I've had issues with mascaras smudging and just not holding throughout the day, but this holds a curl all day. And it makes my straight, sad lashes look like decent lashes!

Edit: not heroin. heroin is bad.

u/sie_liebt · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I honestly prefer Fairy Drops. I swear it works through a combination of black magic and adding unicorn tears to the formula.

u/unpopularopinion8088 · -1 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

The brand referenced by /u/juriana is Isehan, and can be found on Amazon. Here is one of their very affordable and well-reviewed mascaras.

u/MacNCheesyBeezy · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Try this link. I only found it through someone here, because I couldn't get it to pop up in the Amazon search.

u/otaythx · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

My HG for years now, curls my straight asian lashes all day. Get the mascara remover too, because it's hard to take off with regular makeup remover....that's how much it stays put.

u/cmyers84 · 2 pointsr/computertechs

If you want to do electronics repair in general, I'd recommend iFixit's kit, which includes tools useful for repairing, say, a broken tablet/phone screen, and various non-standard bits.

http://www.amazon.com/iFixit-145072-Pro-Tech-Toolkit/dp/B007XGWQ2Y/ref=sr_1_2?s=power-hand-tools&ie=UTF8&qid=1452147004&sr=1-2&keywords=ifixit

For PC repair in general, try to get something intended to be used on servers or in production environments. You want something that will last, and not be prone to having its tip chip or break off.

I have only a little experience with soldering, and use a Radio shack iron. Unfortunately, I can't provide any suggestions.

u/twiggyful · 3 pointsr/beauty

I pushed a baby out with this one and it didn’t smudge. This shit is amazing. You’ll need an oil based makeup remover to get it off.

How do I get past my dislike of washing off mascara and the fact that it runs so easily to want to buy some and wear it?

I hate that 5'oclock shadow morning after look so much because no matter what I do, it is always there. I recently started using an oil cleanser, but maybe the Anastasia Beverly Hills gel liner is just the shit when it comes to staining when it runs down to my lower lid... but it seems like everything else does this too.

How do I stop makeup stains? I can't help but always notice some residue the next day...

I was thinking of trying out this mascara

u/pineapplefeline · 67 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I use Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make waterproof long and curl mascara and I'm OBSESSED. I avoided this mascara forever, but now it's my holy grail.

I struggle with my mascara rubbing off on my lower lids all the time, but this mascara holds a curl all day and never flakes off. It makes my eyelashes look SO LONG, and I'm Asian, with normal, straight lashes.

I've had a stressful week. I had car troubles, I had to run errands, work, I had about four tests at school, and my brother keeps messing up his playstation and making my boyfriend and I fix it. Thankfully, I will be going to a concert next weekend and I can forget about what a horrid week I had.

Thing.
