The head unit in these things are garbage. Every time my android updated I had connection issues. After upgrading to oreo, it was even worse and IF it'd connect, I could not control the streaming of music from the head unit any more about 80% of the time.. and it stopped showing the artist/title/etc. I got fed up and bought this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076D5TVVX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For as cheap as it is, i did not have high hopes, but i no longer have connection issues, its a nicer screen that doesn't look like a kids v-tech toy, and amazingly sounds better.
