Wear your helmet into the shower. Lather up your hair real well, them put your helmet back on and wiggle it around. In between doing that get some odor control spray like stink free shoe and gear spray from 2Toms.
I've put baking soda, baby powder, and the Gold Bond foot powder directly into shoes. It generally works, but can be messy. I've used it in my cycling shoes (fabric interior, I wear w/o socks), leather ballet flats, vans, & running shoes. I've also put it in most of my SO's stinky shoes.
