I casually collect headphones so have a lot of models to compare to. They actually compete well at their price point—there’s a premium for the (very well executed) wireless and obviously don’t buy them if you don’t have an Apple device, but otherwise they sound much better than generic EarPods and on par with other $120+ models I own.
However, it will depend a lot on your ear shape. If they sit well and fill the hole completely they’re surprisingly bassy; if they don’t, they sound much weaker.
The fidelity is actually fairly good compared to my other $150ish headphones. You’ll get good treble and mids regardless of the fit. Isolation is meh but if you get the fit right you can keep the volume low enough they effectively don’t leak and still have them be plenty loud. If they fit poorly they leak as you’ll crank volume to compensate for the lack of any seal.
You can adjust fit. I use little donut shaped foam earbud covers you can buy on Amazon and they sit very well. You can also use Nexcare tape and a hole punch to create little adhesive pads and adjust fit with those. Both ways are compatible with the charging case.
Biggest knock is having to do the DIY fit instead of having proper tips, but they were never sold as IEMs. They’re closer to the Bose sport in-ear headphones that intentionally don’t have a full seal. Once you get past that they are very good daily drivers.
Edit: should acknowledge SoundMagic and others have <$50 wired earphones that sound nearly as good. Cheap models performing at that level are few and far between but do exist. There are also wireless full-size headphones (Backbeat Pro comes right to mind) that blow these away for less money.
However, I definitely haven’t found that kind of bargain performance in wireless earphones I can shove in my pocket as part of EDC and these compete well there.
