Wireless is pretty weak without an added antenna. I had mine like literally right next to my router and the signal was only 80% strong. I don't think it will be very good from 30 ft away without an added antenna. If your router has removable antennas you could pull one off and screw it onto the wireless port on the s1. Other wise you could probably find a cheap wireless antenna on amazon somewhere.
