I wouldn't go with the P2540UA. Poor display and only a HDD when you can easily get an acceptable display and maybe even an SSD. Its resolution is good but it has very poor contrast and viewing angles.

If you do lots of Photoshop and want colors close to desktop monitors, this $650 Lenovo has that and an SSD. This $520 Acer has that and only a HDD. Could get it and add a 128GB M.2 SSD and re-install the OS on it and still be under $600. Or get one of the cheaper 256GB ones and be not too much over.

If not, the Acer Swift and this one still have much better displays than the ASUS P-series.

Refurb Dell Latitudes w/ 1920x1080 IPS might also be some of your nicest options in this approx. price bracket. Dell Outlet link and Link to most up-to-date coupons that might work. The 5000 series ones have 45% NTSC IPS displays like the Acer Swift and AS15. The 7000 series ones have 72% NTSC IPS displays like the Lenovo Yoga 710 and Acer R 15.

I would say buy more by model than brand. You can look up reviews online to at least get an idea of how well the machines are built.
