Ocean Salt is an amazing exfoliant. It's pricey (not unusual for LUSH), but I love it. I've started saving Ocean Salt for my face, though, and using Alba Sea Salt Scrub on my body. It's a decent dupe, though it lacks the fine-grain salt of Ocean Salt that gets a really baby-butt smooth finish.

Another sufferer here. I never had it as bad as you, but I was pretty self conscious about it up until high school when I managed to get rid of all the visible patches. I didn't see this recommended so I thought I would mention it. I use a sea salt rub kind like the one here. Not recommending the particular brand or anything.

It can be incredibly painful to use because you're basically scraping all the dried skin off and rubbing salt in the wound, but it works incredibly well. I generally see immediate results and will have the patch completely removed within a week of constant usage. It also stops the spot from itching for a few days after use if can't stand using it every day. I would probably be getting the injections or be close to 40% coverage and miserable if it wasn't for my salt rub and oil rub.

YMMV due to the nature of psoriasis. I've never heard of any treatments that work on everyone.
