I have a fleet of 3, with one as an AP. They work good in the area @ 5GHz, due to congestion in the 2.4GHz band.

The actual antenna is much longer than the one pictured, band seems a much better unit than the supplied antenna. I will also add, that of the 4 antennas I purchased, one already had the POE fail.

Personally, I think having a cellular booster and a good cellular data plan is a better investment. With WiFi you are dependent on the marina, and whether or not they care to provide good service. I feel people are losing interest in maintaining marina and r/V park wifi systems due to the better availability of cellular service.

I only do WiFi for the ships, as their bandwidth demands exceed that which can be provided by cellular. For me, cellular works fine. I can watch videos and play video games, etc.
