My set up is pretty compact all things considered, if you're looking for function and form.

I have this bag

This bag is just wide enough to fit this keyboard which is full size.

Paired with this mouse but I'm sure any bluetooth mouse will do.

And then a simple usb 3.0 hub

Just grab a cheap Micro to full HDMI and you're golden if you're traveling etc. This is my travel bag, have brought it with me to St. Louis, Northern Michigan and Boston, no issues and handy to have everything.

No need to spend nearly that much. I use the 14" version of this and it's great.

This bag works well for me.

Got this from Amazon. I love it because it also fits the battery charger and has additional space for a mouse, cables, etc. Plus the price can't be beat!

I just got a roocase netbook sleeve for mine -- came in two nights ago. There's an outside pocket to put the AC adapter / stylus / thumb drive, and then the main pocket fits the Pro. It's not a perfect fit, there's a little bit of room, but I wasn't sure that one size down would still fit it.

This is what I use. It fits the SP4 perfectly and the charger fits well in the front pouch with flash drives and a nice slot for the Surface Pen. I do not like storing the SP4 with Pen attached in this bag as it is very snug with that extra width.

Have you considered getting a small Amazon basics laptop bag? $10 or less and it's padded. It's what I use.

I have a CB3-111 and purchased an AmazonBasics case for around $12. The Chromebook fits snuggly in the case and I have my mouse and charger in there as needed. I'm pretty happy with it!

I use this Amazon Basics one. It was 12.49 and its fantastic. Perfect fit and I highly recommend it, especially for the price.

I've got this and it works great. Is lightweight and keeps my stuff together with enough room for a few other things like a mouse, papers, etc.

Have you ever held a 3DS XL? It's roughly the same size as that. My personal suggestion would be invest in a "tablet bag", like this one. That's what I have, and it's enough to hold my iPad, Surface Pro 3, 3DS XL and an extra USB battery + cables.

I have one of these that is a close fit but can hold the Pro 3 and an iPad, chargers, and maybe a small notebook. Very cheap, but well built.
