I wash my oil off with a cleanser and use these to dry my face. They are amazing!

i keep them covered up with bartowels when i'm not using them, and i wipe them down with dry microfiber towels like these: http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Microfiber-Cleaning-Cloth-Pack/dp/B009FUFBTG/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1420679472&sr=8-15&keywords=microfiber+towel

i use those to clean everything now, if they don't work dry just get them slightly wet and they'll clean anything.

I'm planning to write a post in the interior soon but for now...

The first step is to give everything a really good going over with a vacuum. This is where you need to spend most of your time. Almost everything that's not leather can be cleaned with an All Purpose Cleaner (UK link and US link):
Spray it on, agitate with a brush (ordinary paint brush will do). Then...

If it's fabric - vacuum with a wet-dry vac (use a cloth if you don't have one)
If it's trim - wipe dry with a microfibre (UK link and US link)

To protect things I really like 303 Aerospace Protectant... it protects against fading caused by UV radiation (UK link and US link)

Leather is a different kettle of fish and you need to use a cleaner then a conditioner (UK link and US link)

I use a thick microfiber car drying cloth and a small corner wetted with water. Just blow off as much dust as possible beforehand (on the screen), tilt the MacBook (with the screen off) so that the screen is facing up towards a light source, and then use the wet corner to lightly wet a small section of the screen, then dry, and move on to the next section. If you try to wet the entire screen at once, you end up getting streaks from the small amount of water drying before it is cleaned, and it's difficult and time-consuming to try and get them back off. This is pretty much how I've cleaned every device I've owned for years, and it's left the screens scratch- and oil-free every time. [The car microfiber cloths] (http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Microfiber-Cleaning-Cloth-Pack/dp/B009FUFBTG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1416643738&sr=8-2&keywords=car+microfiber) work much, much better than the flat cloths for cleaning glasses. Final Result. Note, that my house is is pretty dusty (despite cleaning), so there's s small but of dust since I cleaned it a while ago.
