Regular capacitive stylus. Comparable to this: http://amzn.com/B008ULX012

I use an app called FreeNote which allows me to write huge and it'll shrink when you're done with the line. It's similar to Asus's Supernote. For pdf's I make large margins on the doc before class and zoom in to write.

I've had the same problem you had but I just found apps that suited my needs. A tablet like a Galaxy Note might be better.

If you enjoy the drawing side of things, why not invest in something designed for that? Seems to me you're not viewing this purchase strictly as a phone purchase, but more as a means to a hobby/craft. You don't need to spend £869 just for that functionality.

Pick up a simpler phone, a decent tablet and one of these and you essentially have the same product for less than half the price (Phone dealers are often bundling tablets in at reduced cost too for a SIM only contract)

I think you need to think about the feature which are strictly essential for your phone, anything else you can can weigh up against competing, specialised products which can often do the gimmick better/with a larger screen.

Pro-Tip... I suggest getting a stylus if your going to do 24 word seed on Model-T. I eventually had to get my child (small fingers) to punch in the codes since my mits were just to fumbly.

I was generally talking about cheap touchscreen pens ranging from 3 to more dollars: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Executive-Stylus-Touchscreen-Devices/dp/B008ULX012

My question was if these are as good as the bigger and more expensive ones.

Kinda hard to really draw without a pressure-sensitive stylus and palm rejection, and the device has to be built for that (an extra layer on the display, I think), so your only option is an ordinary stylus. In that case, either get a really cheap one (I use AmazonBasics' $6 stylus for my phone. Nothing fancy, does the job) or dish out a little more ($15-$25) for an allegedly better experience (but I've never tried, so take my words with a grain of salt, here).

That said, do you never experience a limit? I've asked a friend, and he says his Note 7 also gets limited to a certain amount of layers in Sketchbook, an amount that scales with resolution.

Oh, and I'm retarded, so, by "OG", do you mean the original or the new one?
